Any curly-girlies know how fickle curls can be and how precious they are to us so knowing when heat was going to be applied to make them look their best was such a thoughtful thing to keep me in the loop about! My bridal hairpiece stayed put until I took it off almost 8 hours later through all the dancing and fun! Ronee also did my three bridesmaids who had absolutely beautiful styles that made them feel their best too. I would trust Ronee again and again!

Her makeup bag was disgusting, and the walls were cluttered with what looked like junk. This was not the professional environment I expected from someone who claims to have been in business for nine years. To make matters worse, she applied products directly to my skin by reusing the applicator from the product packaging, when she should have used a spoolie or secondary tool to fetch the product so that no cross-contamination between two clients could occur. This is disgusting and completely unsanitary. The makeup application looked amateur and did not even remotely resemble the inspirational photos I provided. The lashes she applied started popping off before I even left the chair. After expressing my disappointment, we both tried to make the best of the situation, but it was clear that the quality of service was not going to work out. I signed the contract back in January 2024, but my trial appointment wasn't until just two weeks before my wedding date. As someone who has been in the industry for nine years, I find it troubling that she did not advise or suggest an earlier appointment to avoid these unfortunate circumstances. This left me unable to book an alternative so I had to do my own make-up at my wedding. Amid the wedding chaos, I was unable to write this review sooner. My husband attempted to leave the review for me on multiple occasions, but the business owner had it removed time and time again. I genuinely believe the only reason she has such a high rating on Google, Yelp, and The Knot is that she reports and removes all negative reviews. I strongly advise anyone considering Braid N’ Hairpins to think twice. Your special day deserves better than what I experienced. Save yourself the stress and disappointment, look for a real professional, or at least one with hygienic service.

When we completed our consult, she took the time to take notes about what we liked and the few adjustments we asked her to make on the big day. When that day arrived, she was set up and ready before we arrived (which wasn't too long of a wait). She styled my MIL first and then myself and I felt so beautiful. Ronee achieved the look I wanted, and I had so many compliments. I will recommend her to anyone and everyone who plans to get married or needs a full glam for any occasion.
