organization and clear expectations gave me so much peace of mind leading up to the wedding. I never had to wonder about unexpected costs, and her process helped encourage my friends and family to make decisions about what they wanted well in advance. She also provided an incredibly helpful packet with information on how to best prepare my skin and hair leading up to the wedding. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do a hair and makeup trial since I lived out of state, but Alyssa still took the time to meet with me virtually to discuss exactly what I wanted and go through inspiration photos. She really made an effort to understand what I liked and, just as importantly, what I didn’t like about different looks. She reviewed everything with me again in the days leading up to and the morning of the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. On the wedding morning, Alyssa and her team were incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They made what could have been a stressful morning feel easy and enjoyable, and they were wonderful with both me and all of my friends and family. One thing I especially want to highlight is the makeup look Alyssa created for me. I almost never wear makeup and definitely did NOT want a full-glam look. I wanted to still feel like myself, and Alyssa absolutely nailed it. She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job evening out my skin tone and highlighting my features without making my makeup feel heavy or “caked on.” I was absolutely overjoyed with how I looked! Even better, the products they used on my skin were amazing and I had no reaction to them at all. Overall, I would highly recommend Alyssa and her team to anyone looking for a wedding hair and makeup artist. Her organization, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to really listen to what you want made such a difference in my wedding experience. You won’t regret booking her!
