Day of, they were very present to ensure the timeline of the event moved at a pace we wanted it to. They were a great choice for month of planning and would use them again if I had to do it over.

Kendall and the rest of the Brand Bar and Events team are amazing people to work with. They take such pride in their work and you can really tell they love what they do. I would choose them over and over again.

to speak out about our challenges, especially given my aversion to negative reviews. Yet, I've concluded that if our story can help just one couple from the ordeal we endured, it's worth sharing. Nine months ahead of our wedding day, we hired Brand for partial planning services. With several vendors secured and a clear vision in mind, we sought their expertise to navigate the final stretch. Initially, communication with Jayme, one of the owners and lead planner, was swift and promising. However, this positive start dwindled post-payment. Despite our efforts to clarify roles and establish a seamless process, responses became sporadic, incomplete, or simply absent. Notably, their preference for email communication led to frustrating delays, with vital information often withheld or miscommunicated, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, unsupported and abandoned to manage tasks by ourselves. While Brand did assist with vendor coordination, some communication between vendors who'd only work with planners, and vendor ghosting, the lack of clear guidance left us feeling burdened with all the to-dos. The day-of services unfortunately also fell short of expectations, with last-minute billing issues (that we are still dealing with today), oversight of essential details, and a hands-off approach from Jayme, our day resulted in multiple disruptions and dissatisfaction. We want to mention Jayme's unapproachable demeanor, which detracted from the wedding experience. Throughout the day, evening and even weeks after the wedding, on top of our own negative interactions, we had multiple friends, family members and even vendors approach us to tell us about their negative experiences with her further highlighting the disconnect between Brand's promises and delivery. Despite the disappointment with planning services, the bar services provided by Tom and the bartenders also "Brand Bars and Events" were commended for their professionalism, communication, and assistance during the event. In summary, our advice is clear: if you cherish the significance and joy of your wedding day, steer clear of Brand Bars & Events for planning services. Their lack of professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction cast a shadow over what should be a cherished milestone.

They connected us with stellar vendors, made sure we were keeping track of expenses, kept us updated on tasks that needed to be completed, and stayed 100% on top of the events on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was running smoothly. They were very responsive and helpful with my many inquiries leading up to the date, as well! I can't thank you ladies enough for making the day such a phenomenal memory for us and everyone else who attended. Next time we have a big event to plan, we'll be in touch for sure!

I wrong and I'm so glad I was! They were so organized from the very first day. They sent me folder of helpful materials and documents, that made me feel so reassured (and covered things I didn't even think about). They made me feel so important and validated through the whole process, and always answered my (millions of) questions with so much positivity and helpfulness. And they understood my vision EXACTLY for the wedding and I almost cried when I walked into our venue for the first time and saw all of their hard worked matched exactly to what we had discussed (even better honestly). They were so great and worked so hard! I didn't have to worry about a single thing all wedding weekend thanks to them. They handled all my vendors with such ease. Wish I could get married a hundred times over with them!

, Brand Bars & Events provided us with great planning resources and spreadsheets for inputting all of our choices and details. These resources answered questions we didn't know we had and helped us organize our vision into a clear and manageable plan. Brand Bars and Events and especially Kendall, our coordinator, were absolutely fantastic to work with and made the wedding SO much less stressful. I truly can't imagine how everything would have come together to run so smoothly if it hadn't been for Kendall. From walking through the venue with us and creating the floor plan, to orchestrating the beautiful transformation of the venue on the day, Kendall was on top of every detail making sure things went smoothly. We loved working with Kendall and with Brand Bars & Events and would absolutely recommend them to any couple!

DIY decor perfectly! I mean every single thing was the way I imagined it and better! The whole night she was there to get us our personal items and anything we needed! I also made it home with everything I sent and it was packed away perfectly. I highly recommend hiring this company! You will not regret it! :)

nd taking the lead on projects in my life. But man was I so glad my fiancé and I budgeted and got the planner! Having someone else take care of ALL the things was extremely helpful! Everyone was super helpful-answering all the questions, all the time! They offered different planner options and took over all the coordinating between vendors, venue and themselves! I’m so grateful they were available and I was able to work with them! I worked heavily with Kendall she is absolutely wonderful! And day of I worked with Kayla and Katie! They were so incredibly nice and on it!

She always made sure that we were at ease throughout the entire planning process. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect. The day of, there were some issues with the caterer leaving early. Since the food was wonderful, no one had any idea there were issues because Jayme and her staff handled absolutely everything. I should note that the caterer was one of the few vendors we had booked prior to Jayme, so was not chosen under her recommendation. Jayme made every moment of our day incredibly perfect. Even our guests commented on how wonderful she was. I cannot recommend Brand Bar and Events enough.

ZING! She was always super responsive to emails--I'd get a reply within 24 hours, often times within an hour or 2! She pointed me in the right direction every time I had a question (which was A LOT!). She was so helpful & friendly, it made planning stress free! She and her assistants made wedding week, rehearsal, and wedding day a breeze! Katie was my official day-of coordinator and when I tell you I didn't worry a single bit, I mean it. She handled all of the little things with ease & came to me with little questions that needed my input. She was amazing about keeping the "doing" out of my hands so I could relax & enjoy my day. I couldn't have imagined my day without Jayme and her team. I highly recommend them for all of your planning needs!

only had dates much earlier in the year than what we originally wanted... leaving only 5 months to plan. Jayme was completely upfront/ honest about what could be accomplished in that time frame + our budget, and really focused on the things we said were the most important to us. On the wedding day: Everything was ready, Kendall kept us on schedule, regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, packed up the venue, and most importantly... my husband and I really felt like we could focus on each other. I am naturally a worrier... and NOT ONCE was I worried on our wedding day :) !!

She even helped us find a new caterer when the one we had chosen closed their business. She was always easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. She was great at handling vendors and corresponding with them for us. She took time out of her busy schedule to attend our catering tasting and to hold a rehearsal for us the day before our wedding. She gave us many recommendations for booking vendors and we were very happy with all of the vendors she recommended to us. We had a major issue with a vendor (that we had booked prior to hiring Jayme) on the day of our wedding, and Jayme handled it flawlessly! e tough to figure out. I can emphatically say that Jayme Brand was absolutely everything I needed in a planner, and more. I initially stumbled across Brand Bars and Events in my search for a bar, and ended up booking both Jayme Brand for planning and her husband Tom Brand for the bar services. Planning a wedding can be a very daunting task, especially if you are someone like me with zero experience in event planning, and planning from afar with little knowledge of the Charleston area. Brand Bars and Events hands-down made the adventure of planning my wedding an absolute blast! From square one, Jayme was there for me, making sure I tackled all the big picture items and stayed on track. Her rate was incredibly reasonable, especially considering how much work she put into helping me plan this big event. She helped keep me on my budget, while still ensuring we achieved all of the details that were important to me and my soon-to-be husband. She relayed awesome options on highly-recommended vendors within our price-point (all of whom were adored day-of by me, my hubs, and all our guests!). She coordinated all of the schedule plans, venue walk-throughs, and communication with vendors. She answered all of my *many* long-winded emails. She and Tom both even sat down for drinks with me and my groom-to-be, just to better get to know us and make sure we had the details down pat. Day of the wedding, she worked tirelessly to ensure it all went off without a hitch or a stress — and it totally did, with huge thanks to her! My wedding was the best day of my life, a true dream come true — and I owe so many thanks to Jayme, Tom and their entire team for their help in making this dreamy day a reality. It’s not just Jayme’s amazing planning skills that make her such a pleasure to work with. Jayme and Tom are truly awesome people, a delight to be around and work with. I will cherish the memories of my wedding for the rest of my life, and I am so grateful to Jayme for helping to make this dream come true.
