Planning was a breeze and we got invited to a food tasting to taste all of the different kinds of food they offered which was extremely beneficial to us in picking our entree choices! The week of the wedding I reached out to Joe to confirm everything and made last minute changes. As, always he was so helpful and so kind! They coordinated with the florist, DJ, and cake baker and let them know what times they could start setting up. We also got to go in the day before to set up some additional things we wanted which took some stress off our shoulders. The night of the wedding was a dream. The venue looked spectacular and the staff was incredibly nice and attentive! If you have your wedding at the Livestock Exchange Building you MUST request Mele to be at your wedding. I have never in my life met a sweeter human being. The second we got there she hugged us and congratulated us on our big day. She carried our food plates and made sure we had everything we needed the whole entire night. She fixed dresses and gifts bags as they were about to rip. This woman literally did it all and she made our night run so smoothly! Overall, the Livestock Exchange Building and Brandeis Catering is HIGHLY recommended! They made us feel truly cared for and made our wedding more than we could have imagined!

We served a plated meal at our wedding reception and we are constantly being told by our guests how our dinner was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. It came out steaming hot and all 250+ guests were served with their correct dinner choice in a matter of minutes! Brandeis was absolutely delicious and so easy to work with! We would highly recommend them for any event looking to have food that is still talked about in the following weeks!

we were looking for a venue for an Omaha reception that included an outdoor space, great natural lighting and delicious food. We found all three of those at the Thompson Center. Joe worked with us to create a fun and tasty menu (food stations that included pasta selections and a fajita bar), Steve Summers, the manager at the Thompson Center was a great help in assisting us with planning the evening, and the Brandeis Catering team was delightful that evening, from servers to bartenders. Guests raved about the reception, and there wasn't one thing we would change. Thanks to everyone for helping us create an evening for the newlyweds to remember!

I have another event with them at the end of the year and this is not the first time I have worked with them so you would think that they would get back to me. I dread talking to them and hope I never have to deal with them again after this last event.

testing with our parents and it was really good. The coordinator we worked with Carolyn was amazing at our meeting and went over every single detail of not just the food but the wedding. She put my mind at ease and had the answers to all my questions. The only thing I was confused on was the fact that she drew out on the building layout where things were going to go and when we got to UNO the staff was not following those directions at all they were just doing their own thing so we had issues there. The staff was very friendly though.

re picking out our menu, deciding how to decorate, etc. We were able to drop off all of our decorations the week before the reception and did not have to worry about anything after that. The first time I saw the ballroom decorated was when I arrived on the Saturday evening of the event and it was perfect. The wait staff was fabulous and made our day very special. Our family and friends commented on how excellent the food was (we had the prime rib carving station and the chicken basiline, delicious!) I would definitely recommend Brandeis!!

I had a lot of other interviewing to do for the wedding. My dad also works at UNO, so he has had Brandeis' food many times and really recommended it, so I felt confident they would be great. And they were! People raved about the food that day after we'd eaten and after the wedding. I thought Michelle was really nice and easy to work with during the planning stages, and Mary was really great and helpful to me as the bride the day of the wedding. As far as I know, Mary was great and helped my mom and my friends decorate the reception room while I was getting ready. They were very professional and put out all the centerpieces when they arrived. Between the Thompson Center staff and Brandeis' staff, everyone really made me feel special and like I was "the star" of the day. Mary particularly made me feel like it was my day and anything I wanted was fine with her. I had fun in the meeting with Michelle when my mom and I were picking the menu because my mom asked a million questions and Michelle just rolled with it and knew all the answers and spoke very knowledgably about their food. Everything went very smoothly the day of the wedding, due in large part to Brandeis' professionalism and their friendliness.

Not only did they provide amazing food, but their services also provided clean-up, set-up, around the clock workers for the duration of the event. ly because the catering company was rudely cleaning around the guest and closing the bar an hour early. They made a huge mistake and thought my reception ended at 10:30pm instead of 11:30pm and everyone was having a good time until they thought it was time to go. I was so disappointed because guests would have stayed longer and I paid alot of money per hour to have them stay. I am still confused how this mistake was made because the DJ was playing and no one bothered asking myself or my mom to confirm the ending time. I feel like someone on staff just wanted to get out of there. Other than this huge mistake I was not impressed with the service. It was not very professional and very sloppy. One example is a server dropped a cup of ranch dressing it hit the floor and splashed all over her....she walked around continuing to serve until a guest went over to her and told her she had a giant glob of ranch in her hair as their table had been makes some jokes referencing the movie "Something about Mary" Brandeis kind of takes control of the wedding and your vendors, so be advised. I will never get back the hour that Brandeis stole from me. Brandies did end up reimbursing me a small amount but I do not think it was enough to justify the horrible ending to my wedding. I went home feeling super frusterated.

I would have to say is that after it was all said and done, it was kind of expensive, but we had about 200 people there. If I could have done it over, I would have picked the same place!!!

chefs at each station could make 4-6 omlets at a time and kept the line moving quickly so there weren't too many guests standing at one time. The service was polite and enjoyable!
