that the dress I was in love with could be ordered with an ivory bodice or nude bodice style. I wanted ivory and that was what I understood I ordered for the dress color & bodice as indicated on my receipt. When I arrived at my first fitting I was very disappointed to see a nude bodice for my wedding dress. When I explained this to the manager, she looked at me as if I had three heads. She offered no effort to understand, and seemed annoyed at the situation. She was not sure what to do as ‘there was no additional fabric ordered’ to line the bodice. There was no additional fabric ordered because the dress was supposed to be an ivory bodice, not requiring additional fabric. When I stated this, again I was treated by the manager as if I were crazy. The seamstress’ worked hard to line my dress (at my expense) to make it work. The employees overall were cordial in my experiences, but their management customer service is poor, and that is putting it kindly. I would never recommend someone spend that kind of money for that pitiful customer service.

specific dress. My only issue was when I went to pick up the dress they failed to inform me that they needed a notice of when I was coming. It’s a 3 hour drive for me so when I arrived my dress needed to be located and pulled out of the bag. It wasn’t steamed. I assumed that it should’ve just been done regardless right away after coming in. They also seemed like they just wanted to push me out the door without even trying on the dress. I had to wait, but I made them pull it out so I could look everything over and try it on. The lady who eventually helped in the end was nice. Bridesmaid dress shopping here was a whole other experience and it wasn’t good. I had a different pallet and look I was going for and the assistant wasn’t any help at all. I wanted to put the colors together first to get the “look” and make sure they had the colors prior to just trying on dresses and it was a mess. I showed pictures of what I was trying to do and still didn’t get anywhere. Everyone left irritated and I was frustrated that nothing was accomplished.

Well, when I came back she had written down one of the dresses wrong, luckily I had taken pictures of the number or we would’ve spent the whole appointment trying to find the correct dress. Picking the dress wasn’t the main problem though. I should’ve listened to other reviews that said not to use them for alterations. When my dress finally came the bra cups were poking out of the dress and other things needed to be fixed. I went back for my second fitting and the cups were still poking out and the dress was bunching on the sides. I was told again this would be fixed. I went for my third, and what should’ve been my final fitting, and had a new seamstress. The bra cups were still poking out and the dress was still bunching on the sides. This seamstress told me that she didn’t know why the cups weren’t fixed and the tightening line the previous seamstress used to try and fix the bunching never would’ve worked, and she was unsure why that seamstress chose to do that. At this point they wanted me to schedule my appointment to take my dress out, but I said no I want to try it on again for another fitting because I didn’t feel confident it would be finished. They only scheduled me for a try on, but not with a seamstress. I went back and again the bra cups were poking out over the dress, the bunching was fixed by boning but that was stabbing me because they didn’t trim it. My dress got even worse at this point because there was lace hanging off, and the back of the dress had more loops than buttons! These are obvious things that can be noticed on the hanger and don’t require me in the dress to realize it’s not right! It was two weeks out from my wedding at this point. We came to an agreement that the main seamstress was the only lady who would touch my dress moving forward because the summer help did such a terrible job. The reason for the 3 stars is because when I went back a week before my wedding the dress was finished and it eventually came out beautifully. However, the only compensation I received was not having to pay for my 4th and 5th visits, but I still had to pay over $800 in alterations. I did receive many compliments on my dress, but I recommend anyone that’s looking here for a wedding dress should take it somewhere else for alterations. They have no clue what they’re doing at this place. I have no idea why they continue to receive awards for being “Best of.”

tant was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive - so I didn't feel AT ALL that I was missing out on the perfect gown nor pressured to see the entire store from the very beginning. Our consultant still allowed my mom, sister, and I to take a brief walk and look at the gowns in my price range but also made some selections she thought I would love based on our conversations. Ultimately it was our consultant who found my perfect gown!! I had fully prepared myself not to have "the moment" when I put on the dress (so I wouldn't get disappointed if I didn't have that feeling immediately) but I definitely felt it and I know it was in large part due to the work of my consultant listening closely to what I wanted. My mom also found her dress at Brandi's (before I did, actually!) and we also both elected to have alterations done with Brandi's as well. Another great decision! The attendants and our seamstresses were all professional and kind and seemed genuinely excited for us! They were so easy to work with and our seamstress in particular, very willing to work with even little alterations to make the both of us feel gorgeous. On the big day, everyone loved my gown and couldn't stop talking about how perfect a reflection of me and my personality it was! Thanks, Brandi's!!

The seamstress was very professional, and the dress fit like a glove when it was ready for the wedding day! In addition, we chose to get our bridesmaid dresses at Brandi’s too! I knew exactly what color and style I wanted the bridesmaids to wear, and Brandi’s had it! The whole process with fitting and ordering the bridesmaid dresses was so easy! I highly recommend going to Brandi’s – they have gorgeous bridal and bridesmaid dresses and the customer service is amazing!

at closes at 10 if it's past 9:30. I had heard amazing things about Brandi's so I was very excited to go there. I had a 3 PM appt. and the store closes at 5 PM. We walked in and were very excited. The store is beautiful and they let you pick out the dresses. The lady that was helping made it very clear that we could only have 6-8 dresses she kept counting down as we picked them. (which was a little weird but fine if that's the rule) I started trying them on and after dress #2 or #3 the sales lady started checking her watch every time we went into the room. There was one dress I tried on and really liked. She asked if I even wanted to try on anything else, I said yes as the one wasn't quite right - the sales lady looked annoyed. She was checking her watch and I did say "Is time for us to leave? I want to be respectful of when you close." She looked surprised I caught her and said no it was only 4:00. I tried on 2 more and saw one on a mannequin that I liked and wanted to try because it was similar to the one I liked but had a few more details. She said we would probably not have time but I could try on the other dress I liked again. I looked at the time and it was 4:20 PM when I put that dress back on. She asked if I could see myself getting married in it and I said maybe, I told her it was not quite right and I wanted to think about it. She rudely said "Well then you don't get the 10% off if you come back another time" I looked at my mom and she said she didn't care and I took it off and we left. We walked out of the store at 4:45 PM. We would have had time for one more dress and potentially a sale for her. Overall, the store is beautiful but that sales person made for a very underwhelming experiences.

After I picked up my dress and brought it to the alterations place, she pulled it out of the bag and there was a black smudge on the train (the dress had not been taken out of the bag since I left with it at Brandi's). Since she was not able to get the smudge out by steaming the dress, I had to take it to be dry cleaned a month before my wedding which was nerve wrecking. Needless to say, they got the smudge out and my dress was absolutely beautiful. I was just a process to get to that point.

n taxes are only at 5% which is awesome. The only thing that was difficult, is making appointments. I feel like they have limited scheduling. Which makes it really difficult when trying to schedule your fittings. To say the least this was the hardest part for me, because my schedule as a whole was all messed up. The one thing I really loved about them, is they scheduled 3 fittings, so if you fluctuate in sizing, they are definitely able to compensate for that. Also, all the staff there are beyond amazing. They were all around a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding/formal/ or bridesmaids dresses.

They were able to work with our schedule and I ended up saying yes to the dress! I highly recommend Brandi's! We will definitely be going back for our bridesmaid's dresses!

worked with was very nice, this does not make up for the fact that my last two dress fittings (the most important ones) ended with my mom and I feeling like we wasted our money staying with them. For alterations that costed more than half of what my actual dress cost, I would have hoped it would at least stay together for the ceremony! That's right, my dress fell apart before I even walked down the aisle. And it wasn't a step on the dress rip, the seems came apart on the shoulder strap right where they had done alterations within 20 minutes of wearing my dress. And if they take in your dress too much, oh AND forget to let it out at your final fitting, they will make it seem like it was your fault and lie to you until they do measurements (even though after that they still do not admit to their mistakes). PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REVIEWS AND OTHERS ON OTHER SITES, if you have more than a simple take in here and there, DO NOT GO HERE to alter your dress. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because finding a dress was fun and stress free, and they have a great dress selection. horrible alterations!!

I never would have picked it up on my own, and didn't like it on the hanger, but the shape was exactly what I had described to Amy, and was so flattering to my curvy figure. Amy was great at helping me decide what I liked, while balancing the enthusiastic reactions of my friends, and the sometimes terse responses from family. The timeline of the dress coming in and alterations was exactly as Brandi's informed me at the start of the process, and they were upfront about every cost associated with the dress and accessories. The staff was always so friendly when my bridesmaid and I went into the store. It's clear why they've won the Wisconsin Bride Magazine award for so many years running!

I have to give a shout out to Janis who was in the store for all my appointments. Even if she wasn’t working directly with me that day she would pop in to see how everything was going. I can’t say enough about this staff and have already recommended them to four of my friends who are getting married.

I might like. My mom and mother-in-law came along for support and it was fun to get to show them the dresses as I tried them on. We definitely felt like VIPs with the mirrored runway and a champagne toast when I settled on a gown! The only downside for me was that because I was on a relatively short timeframe (ordered my dress in November for a May wedding), Brandi's was unable to do alterations for me. I live out-of-state and even though I had multiple trips planned back to Wisconsin, the timing wasn't going to work out. They required at least three months for alterations, and my dress was ready one day short of three months. This meant I had to fly with my dress twice and find a wedding dress seamstress in my very rural community, which was a hassle. I would definitely recommend Brandi's, though based on my personal experience I think they may be better-suited for a local bride and/or someone with a longer engagement. Thanks Brandi's for the beautiful gown and the fun shopping experience!

I had my first appointment to try on dresses, my consultant was very friendly and helpful and she didn't mind at all when I had to try on a few dresses multiple times to make sure I was making the right decision. The runway mirror and the champagne were a great touch and made the moment feel more special. The only issue that I had with my experience was that I was measured by the consultant and recommended to order a size 4 in my dress. When I received my dress and tried it on, it was too tight (I actually was not able to try it on when it was picked up at the store because I live a couple hours away). I was able to bring my dress back in the store after already having picked it up, but they didn't seem to take any responsibility for me getting the wrong size. The seamstress was able to take out the sides for me, which helped a lot, but the dress still needed to be taken out in the hip area. I ended up taking it to be altered by someone locally and she did a fantastic job and for a fraction of the price. I definitely recommend Brandi's for their dress selection, but be careful when you order your dress size (always better to have too big than too small!). And consider using an outside seamstress for your alterations if you want to save some money! (Just make sure they are experienced with altering wedding dresses and know what they are doing!)

Plus you get to walk on a runway where you can see the front and the back of the dress on a screen. My experience was so great that I am definitely getting my bridesmaids' dresses from there and my mom and mother-in-law are going to check it out as well. I would definitely recommend this store!!!

I was out several hundred dollars and Brandi was a jerk to me when I simply asked for the nearly $275 back in the alterations that ruined my dress. She blamed me since I "agreed to the alterations." I helped promote her business in the past until I learned first hand how she treats brides. Stay away from this place.

I'm sure that alterations are pricy anywhere though, I'm not an expert on wedding dress alterations and I don't know what they typically add up to. I do know that you do not even need to get the dress altered there anyways if you buy a dress there. Overall, I would absolutely recommend stopping in at Brandi's when dress shopping for a wedding dress or bridesmaids. Great experience and wouldn't trade my dress in for anything, it was altered perfectly and it looks great when I look back at pictures!!!!

The only thing I would say is if you are going to have alterations done there (they are pretty amazing and the woman I worked with was very nice) but please ask how much everything costs before you let them do it. I do not blame Brandi's or the alterations woman becuase I should have asked but I dont want anyone to make the mistake I did which is why I am sharing. Ask about each item and make sure it is something you need done and couldn't have done someplace else. I was blown away but how beautiful and perfect my dress fit but when I found out that the alterations alone had cost me over $600, I became a little weak at the knees! It kind of took an awesome moment at my last fitting before my wedding to sort of an annoying, frustrating moment when I got that bill. This is such an exciting time in your life and I dont want anyone to have to feel the way I did. Just be a smarter consumer than I was! : )

After helping me in and out of both dresses at least 3 more times, we had made a decision! And also gone over our appointment time by about a half hour. But my consultant never rushed me or made me feel like I was just another time-slot. She was great and my dress was absolutely stunning. The designer was even able to make the dress in another fabric that I liked better. While my experience with my assigned consultant was pleasant, I did not find the reception desk staff as much so. No one seemed to be overly friendly at the desk. My experiences when making my fitting appointments were similar. When making my first fitting appointment I had to coax out an available date from the girl on the phone. However, the seamstress at the shop was very friendly and fit my dress to me perfectly. In the end, it was the perfect gown for me and the experience overall is one I would recommend over and over again.

We didn't even need it hemmed! That saved us a bunch of money, too. All the dresses are pretty reasonably priced, and I didn't care really about the designer name, so it was much easier to shop that way. ;) Two days before my wedding when we went to pick up the dress, I put it on one last time and ripped it. Oops. But the people in alterations were wizards and fixed it immediately, couldn't even tell anything had happened. And it didn't rip on the big day. :) Overall great experience!

I scheduled two dress fittings and the final pick-up. The seamstress knew exactly how to make the dress fit me perfectly. When I picked up the dress they explained how to carry the dress in the bag. Wonderful experience and the dress photographed beautifully. My alterations were expensive. I only paid to get the dress bustled and the chest taken in and it was $130. My only downfall was that my dress got stepped on so many times that the bustle was completely torn apart.
