ceive a recommendation from our wedding venue, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, for an incredibly talented videographer, Brandon Mitchell, who exceeded our every expectation! What struck us most about Brandon was his ability to go above and beyond to capture the pure essence of the true happiness we felt and the fun moments that occurred throughout the wedding day!
Brandon was not only a master behind the camera, but also a true professional. He arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel truly at ease throughout the whole day! His level of communication is impeccable as he was always willing to answer a text, email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. As two camera shy individuals, Brandon pushed us to be our best selves by giving us confidence and coaching us to do so! No matter how ridiculous we may have looked, we never once felt embarrassed. He was a true champion throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia!
Unbelievably, by the time the reception started, Brandon already had a short “wedding trailer” playing on an iPad at the bar for our guests to see. Even more unbelievably, in under a month we received our full wedding gallery and we’re blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry that Brandon put into each video. These videos are true works of art that evoke the joy and tenderness we experienced during those precious moments. Brandon managed to encapsulate those emotions and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever! Working with Brandon has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. His exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication to his craft makes him a stand out choice in the world of videography! He was great leading up to the wedding and very communicative. But day of, he was 10/10. He was our favorite wedding vendor, hands down. Bride had a moment of stress when the first look location was changed, and Brandon listened to her and immediately made everyone pivot. This was massivley helpful and kind.
Everyone in the wedding party said how kind and awesome Brandon was.
And the video turned out AMAZING. We were so pleased with the final project and impressed considering we were a pain to deal with (we talk a lot and don't pay attention to directions).

otch. We requested a video of the full ceremony and a montage of the ceremony and after party, and he delivered both within days of our wedding (a wonderful surprise during our honeymoon!). I have to mention that we had an outdoor wedding at 7pm in mid-December, so I was nervous about the lack of light for the video. He reassured me that he could take care of it during our consultation, and he definitely did! When we returned home, he gave us a video book with the videos loaded on a tablet screen inside of a monogrammed book cover - great touch and keepsake! Now we can have our photos and videos in a digital book! We LOVE the video quality and service we received! Also, being a lesbian couple, it was important to find vendors that supported our love fully, so I should also note that he is LGBTQ+ friendly for any others that may be struggling with this! He was helpful, made sure I understood what he needed from me, and even collaborated with my photographer without me asking. We received our videos literally within a week or less, which is crazy fast! We love them too! He truly made my experience with him seamless from beginning to end, and for that, I am grateful! Brandon was part of both of those meaningful events and was able to seamlessly combine them into our magical wedding video (which I am OBSESSED with!!).
