Brandon was really great to work with for our wedding photos. He has the process down from meeting with us to hear about what we wanted for our wedding photos; later taking our detailed plan and walking through each component and layering on his suggestions for photos and video. He was very flexible and met all of our wants for capturing our wedding. After the wedding, we received the pictures very quickly--both some initial pictures and the full set. He even set a nice box with USB and a cool set of prints. In total, the quality of his work, his professionalism for the whole process, communication, etc--all exceeded my expectations and his price was a tremendous value!

We booked Brandon’s services for our engagement photoshoot and our wedding day and would HIGHLY recommend him for anyone looking to hire a photographer.  He went above and beyond with tons of thoughtful touches along the way, and totally exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process.   We first met Brandon during our engagement photoshoot.  Despite living in the Grand Rapids area, he was willing to make the long drive to Chicago to take pictures of us in our home city.  His unique eye for photography became clear to us immediately after meeting him when he took us to our first spot – right across the street from our apartment!  Even though we had lived there for years, we had never taken a second glance at the area.  But after driving by the location for the very first time, Brandon was able to find an incredible spot, packed with greenery while still showing off some of the character of Chicago.  It ended up being our favorite image from the entire photoshoot!  We discovered that Brandon is willing to do whatever it takes to get the perfect picture – if that means risking his own safety by jumping in the middle of a busy city street, so be it.  After getting to know him better throughout the day, we came away extremely impressed with the dedication and passion that he showed for his craft.  We were equally thrilled with his services during the wedding planning process.  In the time between the engagement shoot and the wedding we received regular communications from Brandon with detailed tips and tricks to help with all the various stages in the process.  During our video calls he was an attentive listener to our vision for the day, and he was able to help us consider some of the tiny, but important details to help ensure everything would go as smoothly as possible.  The logistics of the wedding day couldn’t have gone any smoother, in large part because of the thoughtful plan that he helped us put together.  We had started the day with some anxiety over having a camera lens focused on us the entire time, but any pressure we felt quickly disappeared as working with Brandon and Dannie felt like we were just hanging out with some good friends.  Beyond their job description, they were ready and willing to grab us a drink or help with anything we needed.  It’s easy to get lost in the heat of a crowded dance floor, but they made sure to pull us aside for a few minutes to catch our breath, hydrate, and soak in the moment.  We had a ‘sneak peek’ slideshow of our pictures in our inbox within days of the wedding, and the finalized gallery was ready so much quicker than we had anticipated.  Many members of our bridal party or family who had the pleasure of interacting with Brandon and Dannie had nothing but great things to say.  Brandon made a point to introduce himself to our parents and thank them at the end of the night. He made a lasting impression on us, and our families, and we could not be more grateful to have had him as part of our day! The pictures turned out AWESOME and we couldn’t help but print out some copies to share with our guests along with their Thank You cards.  Everybody loved them!   We cannot recommend Brandon enough. No matter what the occasion, you will be truly grateful you had Brandon there to capture the special moments!

Brandon was the best decision we made for our wedding. He made our engagement sessions fun and took our suggestions and ran with them in a creative and beautiful way. He was very thorough and attentive to every important aspect of our wedding day. He met with us beforehand and helped us create our wedding timeline from getting dressed to ceremony precession to our first dance. The best part is that he was dedicated to ensure our day was everything we ever wanted and we had private time for each other on such a busy, whirlwind of a day. We highly recommend.

Working with Brandon was one of the best parts of our engagement and wedding experience. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and learn what our vision was for our photos and wedding experience. He is incredibly creative which allowed us to have a great mix of traditional and more unique shots. Brandon went above and beyond in helping us plan our day/giving us suggestions to optimize our experience and enjoyment of our wedding day. I always felt he was not only committed to providing great documentation of our day, but also wanted to make sure we enjoyed the day naturally without too much focus on getting shots. I cannot recommend him enough!
