Brandy Band

Brandy Band was amazing! They play a nice combination of oldies and modern songs. Everyone was dancing at our wedding and friends/family are still talking about how great the band was. Definitely recommend!

Brandy just performed for our NYE wedding and they were fantastic. We wanted a band that’s music sounded much like the originals, and they did just that! Our guests could not stop complimenting how awesome the band was. I would also like to add after seeing a negative review, that Steve was very helpful and accommodating throughout this whole process and listened to every detail that we wanted down to the last minute changes. We cannot thank Steve and the whole brandy band enough for making our night special!

We absolutely loved Brandy. Foremost, the music is fantastic. Their range is deeply impressive - musical sets, classics, oldies, modern - and spoke to each and every guest. They brought a huge amount of energy, even for our "smaller" size of 90. We received endless compliments on the music and their overall vibe. We could not have been happier! We would be remiss if we did not mention how kind, approachable, and flexible Steve is. We signed our contract in 2018 (for 2020) and postponed not once but three times; our priority with each change was ensuring Brandy was available, and Steve was always so gracious. We felt SO lucky in that way. Brandy will meet your every wish!! Secure a spot immediately! Thank you, Steve and Brandy!

Brandy Band is fantastic - highly professional sound, solid musicianship, and they know how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there! As a musician myself, I was very discerning when it came to picking a band for our wedding. I could tell by the videos that Brandy is top notch. Even so, they exceeded my expectations.

Brandy Band was awesome for my daughters wedding reception at Ocean Edge - Brewster, MA on 10/23/2021. Steve was professional and made the process very easy. We had a pianist for the ceremony on the front lawn and a guitar playing for the cocktail hour. Steve introduced the bridal processional and worked with us for requested songs. Brandy Band was a huge success and the dance floor was jamming. I would highly recommend Brandy Band.

Brandy Band was the perfect wedding band. Everyone at the wedding had a great time, and many commented on how good the band was. We could not have had better music at our wedding! I offer the below as a first hand recap of my experience with the band, Brandy - in particular, the band's manager - Stephen. Stephen blatantly failed to honor our contract. In addition to telling us that we shouldn't have canceled our wedding & that we made the wrong decision (which is always nice to hear when you've had to cancel your wedding because of a global pandemic) - he claims Covid is not a real thing & "the truth will soon be revealed." I literally cannot make this up & would be happy to share additional detail if helpful. This should serve as a warning to anyone considering working with Stephen --> DO NOT. March 2020 - Original contact with the band/Stephen for our late August 2020 wedding. As covid had already exploded, part of our contract was a clause (exact text: "In the event the date needs to be rescheduled due to corona virus, the full deposit amount will be transferred to a new date in which the band is available. If the Purchaser chooses a date that Brandy is not available, the full deposit ($2,000) will be refunded".) July 2020 - inform Stephen that we'll be unable to have our wedding in Aug 2020 & that it's been rescheduled to the same weekend in 2021. Stephen sends a new contract omitting our covid clause AND upping the price of the performance! After many back & forths - Stephen finally agrees to stand up to what the contract says & rescheduled the performance for the agreed upon price, WITH the covid clause. painful. Late Feb 2021 - We write & call to inform Stephen that due to Covid uncertainty - we will be canceling our plans for August 2021 & will be having a small family only mini-wedding in Boston in March. Due to this - I ask for our deposit back. --> Stephen claims that we're not due the deposit back because we picked a date that they cannot perform. The reason they could not perform was because the Massachusetts State Govt was not allowing more than 10 people to gather indoors, nor permitting any live music performances at the time (mid March 2020). --> Stephen also calls our original venue behind our back to check if we really cancelled. --> Stephen claims we're "using covid as an excuse to get a refund." --> Stephen claims that WE are breaching the contract. --> Stephen asks us to change our wedding day... literally, he says we should have the wedding in May since that's when indoor venues can open & this way they can perform. ***note; I would be happy to share these emails with anyone... you literally cannot make this stuff up ! ! ! March 17 - We finally get $1500 of the $2000 deposit back. Note the 1 month turn around, and likely ~ 5 hours in total arguing on the phone with him...painful. --> Stephen claims: - No other weddings canceled - People have 'the time of their life not wearing masks & feeling free." - That we 'jumped the gun on canceling our wedding' - 'All of the corruption going on will be revealed and the truth will come out" I'll leave it to you to form your own conclusion - but if you can.... RUN. It's a shame because the band looks great (...unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me if the band doesn't even know this saga existed). Fortunately this is the ONLY $ we lost on the wedding. I say that only to highlight the fact of how great everyone else was to work with & how immediately they offered to refund given the unprecedented times (our venue even encouraged Stephen to do the same!). Poor form, Stephen. Poor form.

I did not meet Steve until he was about to introduce my new husband and I to our guests and I already couldn’t stop thanking him for going above and beyond what I had hoped for. From the start Steve was a pleasure to work with and Brandy delivered more than was promised. They put on an amazing performance and kept everyone dancing right up to the last song. I highly recommend Brandy to anyone planning a wedding in New England who wants main stream music played live for a reasonable price. While searching for vendors, a manager of a band that I had not chosen due to their price recommended another band he worked with that was within my budget. When I told him that I was leaning towards hiring Brandy he quickly replied that if I liked Brandy I should go with them. Not only did this competitor have many positive things to say about Steve, but he guaranteed that I would be happy if I chose Brandy. And so I did. Selecting a band without hearing them play is difficult; however Brandy made the process simple. Their website has plenty of sound clips and videos of them performing to show exactly how they sound. These videos are not altered to look like a music video or dubbed, they are real. Also it is clear from the amount of time the band has been together that the same members of the band from the videos would be the ones performing at my wedding. This was comforting because I read so many bad reviews of other vendors who hook you with a great lead vocalist at a wedding event and then trade them out for someone different at your wedding (even when brides specifically write that person into the contract). Sure enough, I recognized the whole band from the website when I first saw them. The venue where my reception was held was complicated in that cocktail hour was outside, dinner was in a tent and dancing was inside. Most vendors would only offer one set up location, but Steve happily modified the contract to have Brandy provide speakers outside and have a piano and guitar play in the tent (due to noise restrictions of the neighborhood) before the full band performed on the dance floor. Not only was music clearly audible outdoors as we drove in but I noticed that there was a full band set up in the tent. I was floored. Steve was able to convince the site owner that the full band could play outdoors without exceeding the volume levels he was concerned about and Brandy was willing to set up all of their equipment twice. I was so happy that my first dance could be to a live performance rather than a prerecording as I had anticipated. Despite the full band needing to move after dinner the transition was seamless. Once the party really started, on the dance floor, it never stopped. Most weddings have lulls where everyone sits down to take a breather, but this did not happen. Partially due to my family’s love for dancing, but mostly thanks to Brandy’s ability to keep everyone on their feet. Brandy also provided lighting which really set the mood. The amount of tears in my wedding gown at the end of the night was a testament to how much fun I had dancing. I literally slid across the dance floor on my knees during the last song wanting the night to continue. After the wedding everyone was raving about the band. Even the site owner shared how much he enjoyed them and plans to recommend them to future couples. If you read this far you must be seriously considering Brandy for your event, in which case go book them, you won’t regret it.

We had our wedding in Lee, NH and Brandy came out and had an amazing performance! The entire venue was full of empty chairs because everyone was dancing. We lost power at the beginning and they just rolled with it! I highly recommend them. You won’t regret it.

Phenomenal performance from start to finish! Brandy band did an excellent job, played what the audience wanted, and kept everyone dancing all night long. Everyone absolutely loved the band! Would highly recommend.

Brandy was absolutely amazing! They are incredibly talented and were able to play such a great playlist that had our guests dancing all night! Working with them was a breeze, they answered any and every question and were fabulous MC's. I am still getting compliments from our guests. I highly recommend booking Brandy- you will NOT be disappointed!!

Brandy was absolutely excellent. Excellent speaking voice, excellent intros, timing perfect, dress professional. Variety of songs excellent. Quality of equipment very high. They handled last-minute wedding ceremony request excellently. Live guitar at cocktail hour was great. My mom was a wedding planner for ten years and had remembered them as a good value and fun party band. Their website and videos are not fully representative of how awesome they are in person. Contemporary hits and classic dance tunes handled with ease. Had our entire reception up and dancing the whole time, people of all ages. They made our event without making the event about them. I had no big finish planned for my event, but Steve made the ending really special by having all our friends form a tunnel for us to exit through with bravado. My groom, who loves music, was really, really happy with our choice. We had a blast.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and could not have been better. Brandy Band made the reception feel seamless and SO FUN. Everyone was dancing all night and commenting as to how good the band was. Choosing a band that was within our budget while maintaining quality music was so important to us. We found that instantly with Brandy Band. You will not be disappointed by this talent!!

Brandy played this past October 2018 at my husband’s retirement party! We had a wonderful night dancing to the music! This band was very accommodating and easy to work with during the planning stages!

Talented, professional, fun. Brandy Band did an awesome job at our wedding, they have a large range of songs to choose from - something for everyone to enjoy! They did a great, more mellow set during our dinner which made everyone want to stop eating and start dancing immediately. This is not an over-produced, over-priced, wedding band. They are real, talented musicians who love what they do.

The band was totally amazing! Pretty much all 100 people at the reception exploded onto the dance floor as soon as they could, and it rocked all night. Everyone had so much fun. Please tell all the band members how pleased we were. They just made the celebration about as joyful as it could possibly be.

I'm a musician, so I'm VERY critical when it comes to bands. I booked Brandy for my daughter's wedding, and they were AMAZING! They played all the songs we wanted, and sounded perfect. A great & diverse set of songs. When I searched for a band on their various websites, all I heard was pre-recorded studio tracks. Brandy wasn't afraid to show their live performances, and they were outstanding. Best wedding band I've ever heard.

They performed at our daughter's wedding in Jackson, NH, in December, and we were thrilled not only with their delivery, but with every aspect of working with them. Brandy Band was a dream to work with and we have received so many compliments on their performance from our guests. They really helped make our wedding perfect. The pictures on here make them seem a little stuffy, but in person they were energetic, thoughtful, and attentive. It's really hard to judge these things online, but I'm so glad we ended up working with them.

The Band Brady played at my wedding this past June, and I have received so many compliments since! Not only did I enjoy the selection that the had available, but our guests enjoyed every tune they played. It makes the event so special to have a live band and anyone looking for a band that will knock it out of the park does not need to look any further. Steve was a pleasure to work with and made sure that everything was perfect on the big day. They even learned a new song so that my husband and I could have our first dance performed live. I can't say enough good things about Brandy, and neither could the guest at my wedding.

Brandy Band was an absolute hit at my wedding! from the moment they took the stage everyone was up on the dance floor. They kept the energy up for the whole reception and were great hosts. Even invited some of the wedding party up on stage for an impromptu performance. I would encourage any one looking for a wedding band in the New England area to give Steve a call, it will be a party!

Brandyband is a great wedding band because they are good musicians, fun and can get everyone dancing. I had an amazing time dancing to them at my wedding. However, they were unprofessional. They decided to last minute "try" to play the mother son dance song, my wish by rascal flats live. The MC asked me if it was okay which I said yes...not knowing they never had even practiced it! Needless to say they messed up and started swearing into the microphone in front of everyone at the wedding. Luckily, the recording was cued up quickly and we moved on. However, there are two songs you should mess up at a wedding and its the first dance/ mother son songs! Also, they wouldn't allow the videographer to hook up to their mic system which resulted in our video having some quality issues with sound. Although this is unfortunate, they were still a big hit, for the most part at the wedding.

The Brandy Band was a HUGE success for my 70ish person wedding reception! I cannot say enough good things about them- from booking them through Steve to meeting them at the reception, everything went seamlessly. Cassandra was the vocalist and emcee of the night, she was fun and kept the crowd lively. The other members of the band were extraoridinary, including the guitarist! My guests raved over them for days. Every song they picked was perfect, I wouldn't have changed a thing. I look forward to a next function in which I can hire them again!

Brandy Band played at our wedding this past May and they were so awesome!!!! We really wanted a band for the energy that they bring to the event, but we were having trouble finding one that fit in our budget. When we came across Brandy Band, they seemed too good to be true, but they were even better than we had ever anticipated!! Cassandra had an incredible voice and was an absolute sweetheart, and such a positive energy there. Al of the band members were so great, and engaging, even coming out onto the dance floor to jam. They got every one of our guests on the dance floor for the entire night, from the first dance on! People are still telling us how great the wedding band was, how they have never danced that much at a wedding, but just couldn't stop. They followed our playlist recommendations, and also got a great feel for the crowd and kept everyone happy, singing, and dancing! And we've had many people ask who the band was so that they can refer them to others. In all honesty, they were the best decision we made in the wedding planning! Stephen, the manager, was also very easy to work with throughout the process. I truly cannot recommend them highly enough - they made our day!!!

Brandy played at our wedding at Kinney Bungalow in Narragansett, RI this past August. They were absolutely amazing! We are still getting compliments on how great the band was. Steve was so great to work with and he was so great as the MC. He kept the evening moving and did a great job with introductions. The music itself spanned from modern pop music to some classics, which we just loved. Everyone across the age span was on the dance floor and had a blast!

Brandy played at my stepdaughters wedding this past weekend and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish, the dance floor was packed. They covered every genre of music from Sinatra to the Beatles to today's hits Just perfectly. I highly recommend Brandy, without reservation, to make your special day complete.

Brandy Band truly made our wedding. They got everyone out on the dance floor and kept them there…even guests I wouldn’t have expected would leave their seats! We had attended a few of their local shows ahead of time to get a sense of their style and their performances were fantastic. Our wedding was no different! They energized the crowd with a great mix of music and they kept things lively throughout the night. Stephen was attentive ahead of time, and we were in contact several times before the wedding. They were open to requests and abided by our no play list. They were very organized in terms of introductions and announcements, which kept the night moving smoothly. Brandy Band was amazing!! The pictures and online recording really doesn't do it justice! Huge selection of songs, was willing to incorporate some original recordings and was very flexible with special requests- and a GREAT PRICE!! When I was looking I was thinking that the more expensive the better the band, but Brandy Band is affordable and fantastic.

Brandy played at our fundraising event last month and they were absolutely fantastic!! From the moment they sang their first song, the guests were engaged and on the dance floor having a great time. The guests were commenting on how they sounded just like the original artists! They are a very energetic band and I would highly recommend them for your event!

Brandy Band recently played for us at the Mount Washington hotel for our wedding. They were amazing and got everyone out on the dance floor! Before the wedding he spent time with me on the phone going over every detail, how to pronounce names, and how the flow of the evening would go. Our guests had a totally amazing experience at our daughter's wedding reception in May of 2015 at The Commons in Topsfield, MA. Steve and his band offer diverse options for the music selections and create a high energy event that had everyone up on the dance floor. This is the second time we have had the pleasure of booking the Brandy band to perform at one of our family weddings. I highly recommend this band for weddings and corporate events. First rate performance all the way around!

Brandy Band was incredible at our wedding. We had a large group of family and friends who love to dance and they kept them on the dance floor literally all night long! Steve and Fil were super easy to work with and to get in touch with. They had a great selection of songs and played great classics for the older people and newer songs for the young crowd as well. Not only were they great they are the most reasonably priced band hands down - they couldn't have been better!

All of our guests LOVED Brandy Band (much to the excitement of my husband who's one responsibility for the wedding was the music). They did a great job managing the flow of the wedding and get everyone energized and dancing. They played a lot of older hits but also were able to play some of today's hit music. During breaks they played a lot of fun pop songs. Steve, the leader, was very helpful in the planning process and made suggestions where needed to make the flow better. The band even worked with my mom for a surprise performance she did during her toast!
