For all the venues my daughter and myself looked into, hands down Brandywine was the winner! It’s such a beautiful place. The ceremony was outdoors in the garden area in the spring. The reception followed inside. Was perfect for everyone that attended. Yes, I would give Brandywine an A+!

I would highly recommend Brandywine for a wedding venue. Hannah, the Event Coordinator is fantastic. Every question I had was answered immediately with the upmost professionalism with a personal touch. We had the prime rib at the rehearsal dinner and chicken parmigiana/salmon for the wedding meal, both meals were great. The servers and bartenders were awesome. So attentive and efficient. All of our guests I spoke to had nothing but positive comments. I would highly recommend Brandywine. Sidebar: if you ever stop in for dinner and you like fish, order their lake perch❣️

came and I walked into the venue in the morning all my tables were set already and looking amazing and the club was clean and spotless. They offered lots of great add ons such as lunch and bottomless mimosas while we me and my bridesmaids got ready which we loved. Hannah did a wonderful job coordinating and really impressed us as well as both of my vendors who commented on how on top of things she was that day. Dinner was delicious! We had several people tell us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The grounds and center garden/patio area were incredible for photos and looked really great at night as well.
We were beyond happy with how our day went off without a hitch and how well everything looked, tasted, felt. Would 100% recommend this venue and their incredible staff who go above and beyond to make your day the way you want!

hese things wouldn’t be an issue (they had a golf outting the same day, golfers were surrounding my ceremony and walked up to watch- my photographer couldn’t even remove all of the golf carts from the background because someone forgot to stop them for the ceremony until right before we walked) my wedding video shows a dozen of strangers joining in on what was suppose to be a private moment. Come my wedding day, almost everything she said wouldn’t happen- did. Things she should’ve been taking care of as a wedding coordinator she passed onto my brother and others, so they missed out on getting ready and playing virtual golf with my husband and their friends. The icing on the cake was when the wedding coordinator walked out in the middle of my reception. The staff came to me wondering where the tip money was, worried the coordinator stole it. So I ran around for 20 minutes of my wedding trying to coordinate with my vendors and let them know that the coordinator was no longer there and they had to come to me with any questions/issues, and come up with new tip money (thankfully they found the original tip envople eventually). This was time I won’t get back- and my whole wedding new I was missing/stressed. I will say the bartenders and servers were wonderful otherwise. They did not offer to refund anything for the wedding coordinator walking out in the middle of my wedding. We considered becoming members of the club, but after our experience and receiving our videos and pictures we won’t return again. There wasn’t very many reviews when I booked with them, and when a bad review was posted the venue had it deleted off the knot pretty fast, assuring me that the review was just a “bridezilla” after my experience, I wish I would’ve taken it more seriously.

The ONLY thing that I was not happy about is that both my mother and my husbands parents were told they couldn’t get both meats we had served. I was not made aware of this until weeks after the wedding, but it was not really a major concern. I will continue to recommend this place and Sammi to everyone I know planning their special day!

at 5pm, had cocktails and appetizers in the garden at 530pm and then reception at 630pm in the ballroom. Salads were waiting on the table and the buffet line was up and running no later than 7pm. The cocktail hour had a few hiccups with the bar service, but still overall it was a great day. Venue was beautiful. The golfers were very respective of not interrupting us during the ceremony. We had golf carts to take around the course to take pictures. My husband got 12 holes for 12 people as part of the plan, and we got mimosas and snacks in the bridal dress area. The mushroom ravioli is awesome, highly recommend it!! All in all it was a wonderful experience.

o finish Sammi was a delight to work with. Anytime I had a question or request she replied promptly and she was always very gracious. I am so happy that Amanda and Tyler chose Brandywine Country Club for their reception venue. The day could not have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful and the ceremony was wonderful. When I arrived at the club, ahead of our family and friends, I found everything set up and ready to go! The reception hall was stunning, and the atrium and club grounds were absolutely gorgeous. We cannot wait to get the photos. Everything was timed perfectly. The wedding party was introduced, Amanda and Tyler had their first dance then immediately cut the cake before the toasts and dinner began. The food was scrumptious and the dinner and bar staff were friendly and professional. I was delighted that our guests were up on the dance floor until the end of the evening. Tyler's parents and I are still getting calls from family and friends telling us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and reception. sure that we had everything we could want, and that things ran smoothly all day, from an elegant array of food in the bride's dressing room, to a round of golf for the groom and his men on the morning of the wedding day, to getting everyone lined up properly for the ceremony. The grounds are beautiful, with lovely flowers and landscaping that provided many great places for pictures. The ballroom where we had the reception is beautiful and well laid out, with the dance floor in the middle, and plenty of room for the cake and gift tables, and space for the DJand a photo booth as well. The food was delicious, and we got many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the meal. The whole day was really special and enjoyable from beginning to end. We would highly recommend anyone considering a wedding location to go to Brandywine Country Club!

I had guests tell me it was the best they have ever had at a wedding. The bar service and bartenders were awesome. The cherry on the top of the cake was when we arrived at our hotel room in town before leaving for the honeymoon. We walked into our room to find a box full of food, a bottle of champagne, and a thoughtful card from the whole brandywine staff congratulating us. My husband and I had our ceremony in the garden then the reception in the ballroom. Everytime I think about how beautiful everything was I smile.
I honestly could not be happier with my choice to have the wedding I always dreamed of here. My guest are still raving about how helpful and professional all of the staff were and how tasty the food was. Plus how beautiful everything was put together.
Future brides- if you're still looking for a venue for your big day I highly recommend booking here..you will NOT be disappointed!

They went above and beyond for my, my husband, and our families and guest. They have golf carts all ready to go for us to take pictures on the beautiful golf course, they gave us a "to Go" box with treats and goodies in it for our wedding night. Above and beyond customer service and the staff their is so helpful and nice. Highly, highly recommend Brandywine Country Club for your wedding reception!!!!

considered booked at our venue unless there is a signed contract and/or money down, you had neither of those. As for your co-worker, due to the change in ownership, we gave her/the bride as much notice as we could that her event would be affected.

On the day of the event, Michelle and Phyllis were amazing - they even found an earring that one of my guests lost. It wasn't an easy feat but they took the extra time and searched and searched. Thank you Dawn and your staff for making our special the day the very best it can be. I hope to visit Brandywine again on our first anniversary.

to what we wanted on our wedding day. We had our menu tasting and the food was excellent. On our wedding day, however, things did not go exactly as was planned. She was too busy to give me attention and answer questions that I had. I had thought there were things the staff was going to do for set up that they did not do. I was scurrying around trying to finish things up. I was not happy. So because of these things, my reception was beautiful, but not how I had envisioned it. Also, not the vision that we had set out. My husband and I made it very clear that the most important part of the whole reception for our guests was the food. We wanted them to have an experience of a lifetime. Our salads came out, they were good. Our dinner did not come out until almost 40inutes later. Everyone was getting bored! When the food did come out, the vegetables were so soggy, that they were mush and inedible. At our tasting they were crisp, perfect. Our potatoes were not even cooked completely, they were crunchy! It was disgusting. I was able to eat my filet mignon, that was good. Over all, I was very disappointed in our served meal, and so were my guests. This saddened me very much, knowing that the venue knew how important the served meal was to us. At the end of the night, the staff rushed us out. They started cleaning up and tearing down before our guests were even all out. Over all, the experience was ok.

yself. I had to initiate every meeting and phone call with Brandywine and stay on top of all the details. During the course of our wedding planning, the country club went through 2 general managers and 3 event coordinatores. But, after all the stress, it turned out perfect! The food was amazing, our guests are still talking about it and the wait staff was wonderful! Waitresses were even getting our guests their drinks all night so they didn't have to walk up to the bar! I would definitely recommend Brandywine to a bride or groom in the future, just stay on top of them! Hopefully after all their different hires, they have someone in the positions permanently that can be more helpful in the future!

However, in the end Monica hooked us up and got everything set up perfectly. We got nothing, but comments on how good the food was and how amazing the services went out of their way to please people.

would absolutely recommend Brandywine. Everything was wonderful, and the wedding coordinator took care of all the small details.

and they really go the extra mile to make your wedding so special. My husband and I constantly say how impressed we were with our entire experience working with Brandywine. We highly recommend this place to anyone planning a special event.

We booked the venue about 10 months out.
The pricing is such there that you have to spend a minimum amount of money, so it is crucial to have an idea of approximately how many guests you plan to invite. We had approximately 110 guests total at the reception and we had upgraded to quite a few different options to still make sure that the minimum amount we had to spend would be used for the reception.
Kristin Meyer is their wedding coordinator at Brandywine and overall, she was helpful in answering the questions/concerns that we had. The responses were perhaps not as prompt as I would have liked, but responses did come. Most of the communication we had was via email/telephone as we do not live in Toledo. Kristin worked with us to make sure we had the reception we were looking for, all of the upgrades discussed were perfect, the tasting to decide on the menu was wonderful, the ideas and concerns I had were met with professionalism.
The reception itself was absolutely beautiful. We were able to drop off our favors/cake servers/toasting glasses/various other accouterments the week of the wedding, and Brandywine set everything up as discussed the day of the wedding. Everything was in place as we had wished it to be, the staff were friendly, the bartenders got rave reviews from our guests. The food was delicious and they even had little plates with appetizers at the head table for the WP since we did not partake of the actual cocktail hour.
We were very pleased with the reception and how it turned out, and our guests keep telling us as well how wonderful it was.
