After browsing through numerous options and encountering photographers who overhyped their skills, I stumbled upon Branson's website. Instantly captivated by his consistently impressive work, I knew he was the one for our special day. While we had a wedding budget to consider, we didn't want to compromise on the quality of our photos, and booking Branson was pricier than we had hoped. However my father-in-law told me that Branson was worth every dollar we spent, and my wife and I agree. He exceeded our expectations and was a delight to work with from start to finish. The booking process was seamless, and Branson provided regular communication and guidance without being overbearing. We faced some challenges with our desired engagement location, but Branson was flexible and offered great suggestions. For instance, when we requested a specific style for the music in our videos, Branson perfectly captured the desired vibe after listening to a few examples we provided. To say Branson was awesome is an understatement. I hired him to take our engagement pictures and they came out BEAUTIFUL. Like true works of art!! We had so many weather issues and he was patient and positive the whole time. We ended up finding a new area to take the pictures that was equally as beautiful and he did an amazing job. Finding a photographer and videographer is tough and taking a risk on people can be scary, Branson made this choice easy and comforting! The fact that he does both services is a blessing! He captured every moment throughout the day and into the night. He also took my bridal portraits and made me feel so comfortable and confident while doing it! Branson was incredibly easy to work with! He photographed our welcome dinner and full wedding day, and captured all of our special moments. He was great at coming up with creative shots and also wrangling our family together for group shots. He was very friendly and professional, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. We got our photos back within the anticipated turn around time and they were even better than we could have imagined. His shots and editing style are clean and crisp!

Branson and his team were an absolute dream! They captured everything I wanted and made suggestions where necessary to ensure I got the best possible result. They went above and beyond when they jumped in to help my event coordinators with the floral for my cake. Branson and his associate videographer did a fantastic job for our wedding. It was more of a last minute decision to bring on a videographer and we are so happy that we did. They got incredible footage, voiceover content and created a beautiful video with a fairly quick turnaround. Highly recommend Branson!

Branson was exceptionally kind, professional, and captured our day perfectly! From the beginning of planning process he sent emails to recommend locations and wedding tips. Branson photographed my wedding and the experience I had with him was better than I could have ever imagined. He was a great listener and paid attention to the vibe I wanted for our day of photos and he nailed it. We walked around downtown and found some amazing spaces. He is so fluid to work with and knows how to capture the perfect photo. When we first began planning my daughter's wedding...one of the most important things on our list was to find someone to capture the day for us. We wanted everything documented in picture and video so that we could have the memories of this day forever. We used Branson for the engagement session, the first look video, bridal session and the whole wedding day. We had him do both the photos and videos. From our first meeting with Branson, everything was easy. He is super personable and a dream to work with.He has lots of guides of tips and tricks to read through so you are ready for your photo sessions and wedding day. On the wedding day he made everyone feel at ease and just fit in easily, like he was part of the family. We just received the final products and couldnt be more thrilled. We love LOVE the photos and the videos and each captures something different from the day. Somehow he managed to help everyone look good even when we are not super photogenic. We had a hot day and he worked quickly to get the poses we needed so everyone could move out of the heat. When he found great lighting or perfect photo spot he would grab the bride & groom to capitalize on the moment. He even grabbed the bride and groom and made them hop a fence to capture them in a field...those are some of my favorite pictures! The day went so fast and we have loved looking back on all the details and seeing it through his camera. I cannot recommend Branson enough. You will not regret it. My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to have Branson as our photographer AND videographer for our wedding. I chose Branson because of the quality of his work, and his ability to communicate with us so well! From start to finish, Branson has been been so friendly and accommodating. I felt completely comfortable with Branson. With a destination wedding, and not having the opportunity to meet him in person prior to the wedding day, I was nervous with how our session would go! Branson could not have been better! He and his team were so kind and open to hearing any suggestions or ideas that I had. Branson and his team did a great job with guiding us during the shoot, with posing suggestions etc, especially for our group family shots/ They could not have been any more professional! Our wedding video is incredible-it truly captures all of the special moments that happened during that day. I have gotten so many compliments on the video, its shots and overall quality! Branson was very communicative after the wedding as well, providing a clear timeline of when we would receive our video & pictures. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with our experience with Branson. When planning our wedding, I was given so much advice and "words of wisdom". The one thing that stood out and was recommended over and over again, was to take our time picking a videographer. I am SO glad I listened to that advice - I truly believe that our day would not have been the same or as fantastic without Branson Maxwell Photo & Video. From the moment Branson walked into my wedding suite as I was finishing getting ready with my bridal party, he was kind, professional, and loaded with compliments that made me feel at ease in front of the camera. I am not someone who is typically comfortable in front of the camera (in fact I sort of hate it)... But Branson really made all of us feel like naturals and so relaxed. I fully trusted every pose, every action, every everything he asked us to do! On top of that, he did create some very special and romantic moments form e and my husband together... Sometimes I even forgot he was there filming us. Branson just brought such an incredible energy ALL DAY. He had a sense of humor and was humble. The final product... Our video... I don't even have the words. 1) We had our video only TWO weeks after our wedding! Two freakin weeks. I had no idea what to expect around timeline, but two weeks blew me out of the water. 2) The video, it's perfect. Honestly, I couldn't have imagined anything better. I cry & laugh every time I watch it. He captured all of the perfect moments from our day. 3) It is obvious that Branson is pure magic. The video just oozes skill and talent. We originally messaged Branson because of the title he had as the #1 wedding photographer in Utah. After shooing with him, I feel very confident that he deserves that title! He was very kind and flexible to match our budget. He also gave great recommendations of where to shoot and so we went with it. We were VERY happy with the place he recommended. He was so fast and good at getting so many shots and making sure everything looked good like fixing our hands, hair, or anything that we didn’t notice. The number one recommendation I received when planning my wedding was DO NOT SKIMP ON A PHOTOGRAPHER. It's true - the day happens only once, and you can't go back to re-do, so do it right! I found Branson's instagram account and immediately reached out to him when I saw his work. Branson responded right away and we set up a call to discuss. I was first impressed with his professionalism and leadership and ultimately chose him because I was confident he could manage a crowd & I loved his style. While his prices were a little higher than other photographers I spoke with, I didn't feel like I was taking any risk with him, and that was worth the extra money! He's an experienced professional. The day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. Branson took charge but was also low-key - he blended in perfectly, made friends with everybody, and got great shots. I never had to worry about telling him what to do - he was perfect at posing us (which we naturally are not great at), he knew where the light hit great, already had the temple/reception venue scoped out, etc. We had no worries about time limits or anything - Branson was all in for our big day & it was clear his priority was us. My husband and I still talk about how chill Branson was and how much we enjoyed working with him. Would 100% recommend. The shots were high-quality and all came out great! I especially loved how he got great shots even in the dark at our reception - he comes with the full setup, lighting and all. So back to my original point - you don't want to skimp on the most important day of your life - just go with Branson :)

Branson did a beautiful job capturing not only the beauty of our wedding day but also how much fun we had. Through the photos and videos we really got to re-live the day over and over again. He was a little on the pricier side but worth it for the high quality beautiful photos we received. I just loved every shoot more and more than the last even though I thought it couldn’t get better after the engagements. He also did a fantastic job at posing my now husband who has no idea how to pose for photos!

I just wanted to say first that the photos that Branson Maxwell took of my daughter's wedding were spectacular. My daughter was extremely happy. Everyone loved them. They were exceptional. Branson is very easy to work with and is very professional. He is awesome at communication and very transparent with everything. We went to the salt flats for our pictures. Branson sent the exact location months before so we could plan out our travel time. I had health issues for the first session we booked. Branson was so flexible he switched the week before. The pictures...I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful they came out. I loved every single photo. My husband loved every single photo. At first my husband wanted us to go with someone we know so we would be comfortable. I loved Branson work so much I couldn’t pass up doing formals with him. When we started the shoot Branson was SO quick at suggesting poses, it was so easy for us all we had to do was pose. I thought it would be a little awkward(being in front of the camera) at first but it definitely was not. After the shoot my husband told me he could tell the difference between working with Branson and working with others. He’s just so good at guiding you for the best photos. My husband looks at our pictures everyday and I don’t blame him haha. They came out so good I 120% recommend Branson. It’s the most important investment in my eyes for such an important day. You will not be disappointed!!!

I can not believe how amazing our photos and video turned out. I was bawling my eyes out watching our wedding video and we have printed our images out multiple times. Hiring Branson was the best decision we made when it came to picking vendors and we got tons of compliments during our wedding day of how professional and efficient he was. I chose Branson among many other videographers I looked at simply because I liked the quality and lighting of his videos and photos. He was responsive right from the first email and throughout the whole experience. On the day of the wedding he was friendly, professional and worked with my photographers so it was a very seamless and easy flow throughout the day. We got the video surprisingly quick and it turned out stunning! He managed to capture all the special moments that can go by so quickly but make the day truly memorable. Most of my friends and family said they cried when watching the video and were so impressed with the quality. I wasn't initially planning on having a videographer but I'm so glad I did because it is a once-in-a-lifetime memento that my husband and I can get to watch over and over again and relive our once-in-a-lifetime day. I just got back from Branson’s first workshop and it was amazing! I was stuck in a rut in both my personal and professional life and this is exactly what I needed! I learned so much about running my business, from how to attract the perfect client to how and when to post on Instagram. It was my first workshop and, while I was hesitant to pay the money and fly solo all the way to Peru, I would do it again in a heart beat. Branson and everyone on the trip was absolutely amazing and made me feel so safe and welcome. I definitely formed lasting friendships with everyone. I’ve never been part of a closer and more supportive group of people. On top of everything we learned, we also got to hike Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu, do the world’s second longest zip line, and ATV through a beautiful country side village. If anyone has any hesitation about signing up, throw it out the window and go for it! You won’t regret it.

I cried (not joking I teared up) looking at my wedding photos for the first time. Me and my husband were gasping and screaming over how incredible EVERY SINGLE PHOTO turned out and how good Branson made us look. OUR PHOTOS WERE MAGICAL.
