I was the father of the bride for a back yard wedding. Ryan and Nicole made sure our whole day ran smoothly. They kept us on track for time time well. They kept my daughter calm the whole day. The photo I have of my daughter before we walk down the isle is one of my favorites.

Nicole and Ryan were great! They took awesome engagement photos despite the Cleveland rain. On the day of our wedding they were prepared, kept us on track with time, and remained calm! They captured everything we wanted and more! It was a long day, but I'm so happy they were there so I don't forget a moment! They are able to take lifestyle photos and posed photos and both styles are perfect. I highly recommend them both!

I considered Brass Key to photograph our wedding because they had such high reviews on The Knot. We went back and forth to schedule a meeting and review their contract which is when I discovered that they have a non-disparagement clause in their contract. This means that we can't see anyone's actual feedback from a negative experience on here or any other website, so I don't believe we can trust these reviews. I feel a non-disparagement clause is very uncommon with wedding vendors and I don't understand why they'd have to put this in their contract if they could stand by their work alone. Not everyone will be happy with how you perform, but disallowing honest reviews that negatively reflect on the business means that you can't weigh the pros and cons to make a fair decision as the customer. Edit: I’ve seen the vendor’s response. I decline to remove the review or give my real name as this vendor’s response feels very aggressive, but trust me, I’m not a competing photographer. If the information the vendor provided to The Knot was enough, my review would be taken down. I stand by what I read. There was a non-disparagement clause when the contract was provided to me, so if it’s gone now, we’re all better for it.

We had an amazing experience working with Nicole and Ryan! We chose them as our wedding photographers because we not only loved their photos but also their fun and energetic personalities! We could not have been happier with our choice! Our engagement photos were beautiful and I was so happy to use them for our save the dates! On the day of our wedding, Ryan and Nicole were phenomenal! We had a large wedding party (20) and we also ran into some trouble with the planned photo locations. They were super flexible and creative with picture ideas and they turned out beautiful! I was so thankful for them as they handled finding different locations and I was able to enjoy the day without stressing over the issues that came up. Working with such a large group was not easy but they kept everyone on track and got so many wonderful pictures while keeping to our schedule! Fast forward three years, we now have two young children. We worked with Nicole and Ryan for a seasonal family photoshoot and once again they did a fantastic job! Even with my sassy two year old (who was not exactly cooperative) they were so patient and took their time to capture the perfect pictures! It’s obvious Nicole is great with children as she kept their attention and got lots of smiles! Ryan was awesome at being quick to catch the perfect moments! Their set-up was fabulous and everything looked so cute! We love working with Brass Key Photography and are so grateful for the memories they’ve captured for our family! They are a ton of fun and work so well together to truly deliver amazing photos! We will definitely continue to use them for future family photos and would highly recommend!!!

Deciding on a photographer to take out of the country for my wife and I’s destination wedding was a project until we came across them. After meeting them it was an easy decision on who it would be and they delivered! The convenience of having them both there to catch each of our moments was priceless. Ryan and Nicole are a dream team! They not only met with us to discuss our vision for our pictures, they also had so much advice for the big day! They were in constant contact with us for our timeline, location and confirmation, as well as must-have photos. They take their time, have an eye for unique photos and truthfully make it such a personal experience! Our guests from our wedding were complimenting how professional both of them were! It was an honest joy working with them and our pictures have turned out beyond beautiful!

Brass Key Photography captured our wedding day May 25, 2019 and they did an absolutely amazing job. From the moment we first talked to them, even before we signed a contract, they were SO helpful. They were so knowledgable about wedding and gave us a lot of great advice!! My husband and I were nervous for our engagement session, but Ryan and Nicole made it run extremely smooth. They told us exactly what to do, where to look, how to pose. It was great!! For our wedding day Nicole unfortunately couldn't shoot our wedding day, because she gave birth right before our wedding so Ryan and Nicole got a substitute photographer. Her name was Katie, and was great as well! Was super nice and talkative, much like Nicole, and captured great photos. On our wedding day Ryan and Katie made pictures SO EASY. They didn't seem forced, we had so much fun! A lot of people said they didn't even notice our photographers during the ceremony, so they liked that! We received our Sneak Peek photos and I cried they were absolutely amazing, we received 68 pictures. THEN we received over 1,000 wedding photos THAT WERE ALL AMAZING! I cannot believe how well they captured our day. Every little detail of our day was captured. They exceeded my expectations times 1000. I can't say enough how thankful I am that we chose Brass Key Photographer to capture our perfect day. I'd choose them over and over again in a heart beat. Thank you so much again!! My review has been a long time coming! Brass Key was the first vendor we chose during our wedding planning process - I think even before our venue?! We met Ryan and Nicole at a Panera by their home for an initial chat and they asked us about our wedding vision, budget, colors, etc. but also fun questions like, “Where are you honeymooning?” Nicole actually said, “Well, you know about Zika, right?” Actually, no, I had no idea what Zika was at that time. Lol. I remember thinking at that moment, “I want these people to be my photographers.” Thankfully, my husband was on the same page! We really enjoyed our engagement session with Ryan and Nicole. I was glad it was included in the package because we likely would not have done engagement pictures otherwise and it really helped my husband and me become comfortable in front of the camera. We also LOVED how our pictures turned out. A short while after our session, we found out Nicole was pregnant and due literally five days after our wedding. I was devastated. In all honesty, we thought about finding another team. In conversations with Ryan, he made me and my husband feel reassured that even if Nicole was not available, he would command the day. Ryan and Nicole always responded to my consistent emails to reassure me. I am so glad we stuck with Brass Key. Although Nicole had given birth two days prior to our wedding, you would have never known because Ryan was absolute perfection on our day. Ryan and Nicole chose a second shooter who was lovely and professional too; however, you could tell Ryan was totally in his element and in control. My bridal party, my picky parents, and my guests continually commented on his composure, professional dress, direction, and skill. He had amazing ideas and we got pictures that are better than I dreamed they would be. The editing on our images is great - “there” but still natural - Ryan and Nicole obviously care a lot about the “post-production” too. We received 1,500 images in eight weeks and I would put Brass Key’s work up against many other Cleveland photographers who come at a higher price point. If they’re available for your day, you are guaranteed amazing pictures.

Scrolling through face-book one day, I came across a friends daughters wedding photos. I looked through these photos over and over. There was something very special about these pictures! Ryan and Nicole were the absolutely best. We knew we wanted to hire them within a few minutes of meeting them and hearing them talk about their photography. They stayed with us from getting ready until the end of the night, and even stayed a little later than planned to take some more pictures after the reception. They definitely have an eye for what will look good, and I felt comfortable just relying on them to tell us what pictures to take. They even coordinated with our DJ to have a full wedding party picture and then get everyone on the dance floor. They were easy to work with, fun to be around, and our pictures were GORGEOUS. Nicole and Ryan were fantastic! We used them for my daughter’s wedding in March. We found them at the bridal fair and we were immediately drawn to their pictures because they were so beautiful. They seemed to capture the ‘soul’ of each person they photographed. Such was the case for my daughters wedding. The pictures were superb! They worked with us the entire day, from the getting ready to the final song. They we never intrusive and readily allowed guests to take their own photos as well. Amazing all the way around!

My husband and I got married on January 28, 2017 in downtown Cleveland and Ryan and Nicole were absolutely amazing every step of the way! Their personalities and photography styles meshed together so well to ultimately give us the best photographs I could ever imagine from our day! From when we first met them and exchanged ideas, they were so helpful and easy to like. Fast forward to our engagement pictures and they were willing to try a new space with us and let us bring our dog!! <3 Bonus! Leading up to the wedding, they were super patient with us and came up with a lot of great ideas and tips (seriously, sent a huge breakdown of just general helpful tips from things they had experienced from other weddings that was so nice and awesome service!!). Day of our wedding was a cold day in Cleveland (no snow though) and from getting ready, through the ceremony up to taking pictures with our friends and family, they were such fun professionals! My MOH had to leave the festivities early for a pregnancy related issue and they focused on getting her in a lot of shots early. We took pictures next to LAKE ERIE in January and despite everyone being freezing, they didn't complain at all!! Just kept taking pictures! We even got our "money /dream shot" !! It started snowing during dinner and we raced out with them for photos underneath the Playhouse Square Chandelier. <3 They had such a fast turn around time on the images, the quality was magical and their pricing was on point! We could not recommend Brass Key Photography enough. We are in the process of moving and redecorating our house and the only issue is that we have TOO MANY GORGEOUS images from our wedding day thanks to Ryan and Nicole!!! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got married at La Vera Party Center on 08/12/2017 and had the pleasure of having Nicole and Ryan as our wedding photographers. We absolutely loved working with them both in the months leading up to our wedding and on the big day. Ryan and Nicole are organized and detailed oriented. They were very easy to work with in planning our wedding and offered countless ideas and suggestions to help help our big day the beautiful and fun event that it was! Their creativity and skill shows in their photos; truly, their photos speak for themselves.In fact, we liked our engagement photos so much that we had one enlarged into a life photo that was displayed at the wedding! They were there to capture all of the special moments throughout the morning of our wedding, leading up to the ceremony and reception, including a first look photo with my dad and capturing my parent's faces when they opened the journals I had written to/for them. Nicole spent the morning with myself, the bridesmaids, and my mom/dad, while Ryan spent the morning capturing my husband, the groomsmen, and his parents getting ready. They were with us from very early in the morning until well into the reception - truly incredible. In fact, Ryan actually spent the Friday morning prior to the wedding golfing and hanging out with with my husband along with some of the groomsmen and family members - even though a downpour interfered with much of their golfing plans! In the final moments leading up to the ceremony, while in the bridal room at the church, I could feel myself becoming overwhelmed with emotion. Nicole caught my eye and quietly reminded me to breathe and take it all in - that meant so much to me. All in all, Ryan and Nicole were wonderful to work with and we would recommend them to anyone in the future looking to capture their wedding day both beautifully and creatively!

Nicole and Ryan did the photo's for my Daughter's wedding in July 2014. I can not say enough good about their services. They are kind and personable. They took the time to meet with my daughter and her future husband to learn about them and go over what they were looking for in wedding photos. The resulting photos were far beyond expectations. Ryan & Nicole did an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding photos! We absolutely love them! I find myself looking back at our photos almost on a daily basis reminiscing about our special day. I always said that a photographer is one of the most important vendors of your day, because they capture the memories. When years pass, you will always have the photos!

We found Ryan and Nicole due to their high ratings on The Knot. Before we committed to them, we met them at a local Starbucks to talk about our wedding and ourselves in general. It was low pressure and we could tell they were easy to work with and knew their craft. We got married at St. Vincent in Akron and they captured some beautiful shots of us, our party, and the church as a whole. Between wedding and reception, we went to the Akron Zoo for photos. We had a giant, unorganized 23 person wedding party which Nicole and Ryan handled like pros. We got to all the places around the zoo that we wanted to shoot and ended up with awesome pictures ranging from picturesque to silly. The best part is there was pending rain that we all knew was coming and would pretty much kill our chances of photos. We did not think it was possible to get all of our shots in before the rain, but they managed to do so and literally the second we stepped back on the bus to go to the reception, it started pouring! I would recommend Ryan and Nicole to anyone for a wedding or other event that is photo worthy!

I Got married on September 10, 2016 and I have nothing but positive things to say about Nicole and Ryan. We liked them from the very first meeting, which was a plus for me because I can be a little critical. The Engagement shoot they did with us was so easy and fun and laid back which I was nervous about, but they made it easy for us. Third we had 23 in our wedding party, that is a lot of excited and drinking men and woman to gather and take photos of, and Nicole and Ryan Worked GREAT with all of us. we had so much fun and they took charge and got the photos I wanted!! I got married in my back yard this past June 2016. Nicole & Ryan at Brass Key Photography were fantastic to work with!! I couldn't be more happy with my photos. They not only covered my list of must haves to a T but they had interesting and creative ideas! They kept us all on schedule and got every personal detail around the wedding! So if your looking for laid back creative people to do your photography I absolutely suggest you Hire them!

Nicole & Ryan do an amazing job! They do a great job listening to you during your initial meeting and make sure to suggest ideas that match what you want for your engagement and wedding photos. Day of the wedding- they are there to shoot it all and won't go home until they know you are happy! We loved having them there for our big day and couldn't have asked for a better couple to take our photographs :)

Ryan and Nicole were very professional while at the same time very relaxed. My wife an I were a bit nervous but they were fun and accommodating. They are a great / funny husband and wife team which have a chemistry that really brought us to life. Both Ryan and Nicole have the ability to get the shots we expected but at the same time threw in some very impressive "never would I have thought to do that" moments. It also seemed they were very reasonably priced for top notch quality. My only concern was the delay in getting our pictures (~7 weeks after the day) but definitely worth it.

Ryan and Nicole were our photographers on 11-28-15. We got married at the historic Arcade in downtown Cleveland. Both Ryan and Nicole were there every step of the way for my hiband and I. Not only did they photograph the most incredible day of our lives, but they helped us with getting ready and planning the evening out. they captured every moment throughout the day starting from early in the morning until late in the evening, including taking us outside to capture the night setting of bustling Cleveland. When planning our July 2016 wedding, photography was a top priority for us. We were lucky enough to meet Ryan and Nicole, and we felt completely at ease with hiring them after our first meeting. We had a few personal concerns about photography at our wedding and they were understanding of those concerns and sensitive to them. They are not only professional with their photography but incredibly knowledgeable of the wedding industry and able to give you tips throughout the wedding planning process. Our engagement photos were so beautiful, and having two photographers with different but complimentary styles gave us a wide variety of photographs. After seeing our engagement photos, we were so excited to see how they would capture our wedding day! We were married at a church and our reception was at the Lodge at Mapleside Farms. Ryan spent the morning with my husband and Nicole spent the morning we me, and from that point they were with us for the rest of the day. They captured our day perfectly, including countless family photos, great photos of our wedding details, candid photos throughout our day and creative posed photos of our bridal party and us. We also appreciated their flexibility with our other vendors and willingness to take all of the photos we asked of them. We were beyond thrilled with our wedding photos and they were returned to us in a timely manner. I got married at Gervasi Vineyard on 6/4/2016 and had the pleasure of working with Ryan and Nicole Sebrasky. They are such a great couple and work amazingly well together! They have unique and fun photo ideas and are super organized when it comes to capturing your family photos in a timely manner. One of the things I like most about my photos is their use of indoor/ outdoor lighting. My photos look magical and they did an outstanding job capturing all of the emotion at my wedding. Every time I look at my photos I get "all the feels" seeing my dance with my father and my portraits with my husband. I wish I could renew my vows in 2017 just to do it all over again! I cannot say enough about how great the photos came! In addition to taking awesome pictures, Nicole also helped my mother bustle my dress and helped locate my lost earring. She volunteered to help with so many things that weren't even a part of the photography and I am so grateful for her help. I recommend this vendor highly for your wedding. They do a thorough job getting to know you as a person and determining what shots you want at your wedding. They have back up cameras and back up supplies so if something unheard of does go wrong they are prepared to keep your day running smoothly. The photo booth option is also a must. It is a fun and creative way to keep your guests entertained and the pictures are awesome to look at. A lot of my family members want to buy them as keepsakes. Ryan and Nicole of Brass Key Photography did our wedding on June 11, 2016 and we couldn't be happier to have had them capture our special day. When we first met Ryan and Nicole, we instantly hit it off. We could tell that their personalities meshed incredibly well with ours. They did so much more than just capture our day. They were always available to give advice and answer questions we had. On our wedding day, they split up so that Ryan was with me and the other groomsmen and Nicole was with my bride and the girls. They captured more than just pictures, but the emotions of the day. They were with us from around 9am until around 11pm, showing commitment to capture every memory of the day. They were very knowledgeable about locations to visit and had great ideas for both fun and elegant poses. Along with capturing all the natural shots that happened throughout the day and into the evening. It is so natural to work with them that we were honored to treat them more like guests than like vendors, because they went so far beyond what is expected of a vendor. After the reception, Ryan came out with us to get some absolutely fantastic night shots that are likely our favorite of the day. They take the time to go through each and every photograph to make any necessary digital enhancements and they even shared a couple sneak peek photos within a week of the wedding. We couldn't imagine working with any other photographers.

Nicole and Ryan felt like friends immediately after we met them. We were interviewing prospective photographers and we weren't feeling the connection that we had in them. My fiance and I knew instantly that they were the ones. They sat with us for over two hours at Panera just talking about what ifs and they were fantastic. Nicole and Ryan did our engagement pictures last year. They're going to be doing our wedding on June 11th. They made you so at ease and they're so comforting. I was reviewing their wedding gallery now and I'm just so excited that they will be doing our wedding in sixteen short days. They answer e-mails so quickly and they are always there for advice. Nicole and Ryan did a great job with our wedding photography. They put us at ease immediately. They had great suggestions and the final pictures were fantastic. We used our engagement shoot pictures as decor at our wedding and got so many compliments. They were very flexible with meeting times and we enjoyed the time that we spent with them. We are blessed to have found Brass Key. We had 2 weddings. One in OH (His) and one in FL (Hers). Nicole was professional and made us both feel very comfortable. Once we saw our photos from the OH wedding it was a NO BRAINER... fly her down to FL to do that wedding too. Photos were one the most important thing to me for our wedding days... at the end of the day when its all over it's the one thing you have left besides the memories. First of all I seen the wonderful job they did for a wedding of a family friend and knew when our day came that I wanted them to do ours as well...With both of them they equal the perfect husband & wife team...their work is complimented by their art of photography..... Our engagement session was just awesome, Loved all the pictures, there were no bad pictures...it was a scorching day and you would never have known....then came the wonderful day of our wedding....What a wonderful day, Nichole met me at the hair stylist while her husband met my husband to be at his Mothers and our day was off to a great start..I get so emotional as I look at my pictures because they are just vivid memories of all that led up to that day for us. My pictures are priceless, and their fee is minimal to the priceless out come with their finished product. The perfection of having a husband & wife team is perfect as there is nothing left out...you get the best of both sides, failing to miss a thing..... I will definitely use their services again.

His ideas for our photos were elegant and classy with enough spunk and personality to make them our own.
