I honestly can’t rave more about Andrea at Brass Tacks Photography. She has photographed my family, my holiday photos, my employees, my business AND most recently, my wedding. I have a two year old and Andrea is amazing with her. She easily connects with children and her playful nature creates a very comfortable experience for both children and adults (& pets too!) At my wedding, she made sure to get every shot that I had hoped for and navigated my large family seamlessly (including 6 flower children under the age of 4!). As a bridal makeup artist myself, I know firsthand the importance of having the RIGHT people around you on your wedding day. It enhances the vibe and experience greatly and helps keep your mindset where it should be - which is in the moment and joyful. Andrea is laid back and unassuming. I felt that she truly listened and took ample time to fully understand my wedding vision (and business branding vision) and I feel absolutely stunning in my photos to boot! Andrea did an excellent job throughout our entire working relationship. From the moment we received our photos from our engagement shoot, I knew I had made the right decision in partnering with Andrea. She was fun, energetic, and obviously talented in her photography. We are having a hard time choosing our favorite photos because there are so many amazing shots! I was initially concerned that we would run out of time prior to our ceremony to finish our formal portraits and actually enjoy our cocktail hour, and I shared that with Andrea, and she worked quickly to get it all done with no sacrifice to her quality. If you're looking for a photographer who will genuinely care about creating the best day possible for you, look no further. Although I didn't end up booking Andrea for our wedding day, her professionalism and enthusiasm for helping me navigate the wedding vendor scene was truly incredible. She went above and beyond, from scheduling a time to talk one-on-one via phone call, to providing me a list of her colleagues that may have had more options for me, based on what I was looking for. She is a gem of a person and her beautiful photos speak for themselves.

Andrea is absolutely amazing! She is not only super creative but also very relaxed and easy to talk to. Being in front of the camera is not always the easiest but she makes it so! She captured all of the important moments in such beautiful ways and even got some really amazing dancing shots from the dance floor! She is reasonably priced but delivers above and beyond what you could imagine!! I highly recommend her!
