Brasshearts Brass Band was the perfect Second Line to help us end our wedding reception! They marched through the venue and brought us to our afterparty location sending us off with the classic "When the Saints Go Marching In." It was a major highlight for us and all of our guests, especially those who had traveled from out of town. Miguel was great to work with- he walked us through the steps, giving us route options and even helping us get the correct permits and necessities aligned. It was all so smooth! The perfect end to an amazing celebration!
The Brasshearts made our wedding unforgettable. From the very first note, they brought an energy that was completely contagious. It didn’t feel like we had hired a band, it felt like we had invited a full-on celebration into the heart of our wedding. All of my friends from up north who came to south Lousiana for the wedding said they had never seen anything like it!
Their musicianship is on another level. Every player was tight, dynamic, and expressive, with the classic NOLA brass band sound with a modern. They read the room well, building momentum at just the right times, pulling people in, and not letting the energy drop.
They were also incredibly professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Clear communication, flexible, and genuinely invested in making our day special.

(back when I started, my trombone was actually taller than I was) Aside from performing live music every weekend, I've been working in the wedding industry for 9 years now. I love being able to work alongside couples to give them a musical experience they'll remember. Being able to give performances where everyone has a wonderful time is always incredibly rewarding!!
