Based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, the Brasshearts Brass Band delivers an impressive musical performance no matter the occasion. Whether it's a wedding second line, the cocktail hour, or the full-length reception, the Brasshearts perform with a style and flair that's entertaining, polished, and guaranteed to be the highlight of your event.
The group has been accepted into Jazz Fest '22 and '23, has performed live on ESPN on SEC Nation, and has also been accepted into one of the largest parades of the Mardi Gras season, the Krewe of Rex '22, '23, and '24! The group formed back in 2017 and has been going strong ever since, with the band playing public performances year round in between private events.
The band offers a versatile song list, complete with New Orleans favorites, pop tunes, jazz standards—and can even work in special song requests. If you want to take your performance to the streets, the Brasshearts can even coordinate your second-line parade on your behalf and can set up your permits and escort, so you can fully enjoy your second-line experience stress-free! My name's Miguel, and I've had the pleasure of managing and operating the Brasshearts over the years! As for me, I've been playing music since I was young! (back when I started, my trombone was actually taller than I was) Aside from performing live music every weekend, I've been working in the wedding industry for 7 years now. I love being able to work alongside couples to give them a musical experience they'll remember. Being able to give performances where everyone has a wonderful time is always incredibly rewarding!!

If you’re reading this wondering if you should book them for your wedding second line. DO IT NOW! The brass hearts were easily the highlight of our reception, I was literally crying happy tears. It was everything I imagined and more. Miguel answered all my emails so quickly and was adaptable when I kept changing things! They were on time, high energy, and the music sounded incredible. Thank you brasshearts!!

The Brasshearts Brass Band performance at our wedding was incredible. So many guests were clamoring for them to perform more music, and they had nothing but the highest praise for the group. Me and my Wife love their music performances and the overall vibe of the band! Booking was made simple and easy, Miguel Seruntine was a consummate professional regarding booking, planning, etc.; he also suggested for me and my wife to watch their band play at a live music gig to ensure their quality, sound, and presence. 100% honesty and transparency from the Brasshearts Brass Band; additionally, when it comes to set-up and tear-down, they did all of the following without needing direction. Of course, Miguel and the rest of the band is available for any requests, but it was nice having worry-free music setup. All in all, we love their Brasshearts Brass Band, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for excellent live music for their wedding/event. True professionals and an indomitable sound - book Brasshearts!

Miguel is amazing to work with! So easy to communicate with and just friendly. We first discovered Brasshearts playing at a local bar and we are so excited about their success. They were a no brainer for our wedding band; we needed to have them! They absolutely killed it and I had people asking me “who are they!?”. They got everyone on the dance floor and played good music. Brasshearts went over and beyond for our wedding! The band played hours of quality music, handled the permits for the second line and even helped us out with our ceremony sound. The band was extremely professional and communicative throughout the entire process and gave us and our guests an unforgettable experience.

Brasshearts provided a Second Line at my daughter's wedding. They did a great job and were very communicative during the whole process. They helped obtain the permit and helped us come up with the best route. They showed up on time and did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them!

My wife and I used the Brasshearts for our wedding two weeks ago and they were phenomenal! I can not recommend them enough. They were fun, professional, and talented. Doing the 2nd line with them on the Mississippi River was a highlight of our night!

The Brasshearts Brass Band were an excellent choice for my daughter’s recent wedding! The variety of music they play is impressive as well as their talent. We had many guests who were not from Nola, and they thoroughly enjoyed the traditional jazz as well as the brass and covers, and they were our second line band too. It was great! I don’t hesitate to recommend this group for any event or wedding! Professional, reasonably priced and so much fun!!

We had a New Orleans destination wedding and it wouldn't have been complete without a big brass band! The Brasshearts were such a hit with our guests! From covers to classic pieces, they nailed it and made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy. Miguel is so easy to work with and made requests happen. They even got some of our relatives who NEVER dance out on the floor! Don't hesitate, just book them, it will be a highlight of your event!

The Brasshearts played at my wedding on April 2nd, 2022 and they were amazing!! They performed during the cocktail hour and got the party started and then lead us in a second line through the streets of the Lower Garden District! The band was not only AMAZING, but Miguel is so easy to work with! He responds quickly and was so flexible with our schedule! Absolutely awesome! He and the rest of the musicians were so good, many of the guests asked about them specifically! I would hire them again and again!

Our wedding was in March 2022 and we wanted to have a brass band for our exit. Brasshearts were amazing! So fun! The music they played was awesome and really got all of the guests hyped up and excited. I had family from New York come in for the wedding and they had never seen anything like this. They made sure to let me know that the brass band was the best thing ever and that every wedding should end like that. Thank you, Miguel and all the other guys!
