After a dozen or so sessions (engagement, boudoir, rehearsal dinner, wedding, baby shower, maternity x2, maternity boudoir, newborn x2, 1 year old/family pics, mini-fall and Christmas sessions) and counting, Rachel, over the years, has captured so many different sessions for our family, using the most creative abilities and an eye for “the perfect shot” when behind the camera. From hot spot locations, in home, air bnb, various outdoor locations, and studio, Rachel continues to impress me with her ability to deliver only the highest quality no matter what environment she is in. It doesn’t matter what look you’re going for either… romantic, glam, laid back and casual, sultry, or family togetherness, she knows just how to capture all of life’s momentous occasions. In her spare time, she uses unbelievable creativity and thinks outside the box to create the most impressive self portraits on social media, which blow me away each and every time. was available for "our" special day. From the first meeting until the last photograph was taken, Rachel was fantastic!! At our first meeting she was professional and knowledge, which is exactly what a nervous "soon to be bride" and "mother of the bride needed". Rachel continued to stay in touch with us throughout the months leading up to the wedding. AND she was able to take Malaina's bridal portraits. They were amazing!! It was hard to choose just one to display at the wedding, so we had two! We knew after seeing the bridal portraits, that the wedding portraits we going to be great!!! On the day of the wedding, I/we were so impressed with how Rachel was able to manage a large group and take so many special shoots without taking away from the ceremony. And she also worked the room taking a lot of photographs of our guests, which will be a wonderful memory for years to come for Malaina and Mark. She found Rachel online and just "signed on the dotted line" as we had so little time to pull this event together. On the wedding day...this quiet little fairy showed up with her camera and started her job--unobtrusively, without fanfare and totally confident. As the mother of the bride I was hoping for the best (fearing the worst), and praying there would a few good shots. Little did I know that a few days later we would get a sneak preview of about 5 pictures that would totally answer my prayers. I got my few outstanding pictures and I was happy. I knew these had to be the best of the best. But I was wrong. Rachel had pulled a rabbit out of a hat and had made her magic happen, Each photo was better than the last...difficult low light reception shots, squirmy kids, hot venue, humility off the charts threatening to cloud her lens...each situation she overcame and provided stellar pictures that look like they came out of a magazine shoot. She captured to perfection not only the traditional line up of family shots but an impromptu picture of of cute 2 year old sneaking off and making his great grandmother giggle! She adapts to any situation and captures the mood to perfection. Worth noting....we had about 100 guests and she got pictures of EVERY ONE! That was very important to us. Out of the 100s of pictures, there was not a single one with a gray cast or odd lighting. Rachel also has a great eye for positioning people that otherwise don't know where to put there arms or which way to hold their head. She was timely in her correspondence, prompt, did what she said she was going to do and VERY easy to work with.
