Her organization and execution took so much stress of my plate! There were lots of add-on options which took out the headache of adding additional vendors for extra touches. We held a welcome party at the bar on site and that ran extremely smooth as well. The only thing I would say they can improve is the booking process for room block. This was confusing for guests and me.

but Savannah did so much for me on the wedding day I did not have to worry about anything. She was very calm while most others were worried the whole weekend that it was going to rain. She helped everyone know their responsibilities and the day ran seamlessly entirely because of her. Not only was Savannah great, the venue was breathtaking. Even though it rained, everything was still gorgeous. I can not say enough good things about this place and the people here. They made our day so special and one we are going to look back on forever and only think of great things!!!!

s very pleased with the final product. The food was AMAZING. I got so many compliments on the food, AND they were able to make gluten free items for my family members. They loved the gluten-free mac and cheese (which is saying something considering gluten basically makes everything delicious). Keep an eye on the additions if you choose to add them. They can add up, and you wanna make sure everything looks right on the receipt. General advice for anyone planning a wedding, but especially given all the additions that Brasstown offers. OH! The staff even makes to go boxes for the couple and delivers it to the honeymoon suite. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast of the food from our wedding. Overall, amazing stay, and cannot wait to go back on my anniversary.

in front out of town. We almost gave up on finding a place up there. Luckily, we stumbled upon Brasstown. The views and resort were breathtaking and we booked our wedding the day we saw the venue. We had Rebecca as our coordinator from start to finish and I can't say enough amazing things about her. Wedding planning is always extremely stressful, but Becca made it so much smoother and was always very responsive and helpful. Her and the entire Brasstown staff were so kind, and made our vision and wedding dreams come to life. I highly recommend this venue to everyone and can't thank the entire staff enough.

and then relax! Guests enjoyed the spa, golf, pool, hot tubs, horseback riding, restaurants, cottages, and more! We started planning with our Wedding Coordinator, Savannah a year in advanced. She was quick, efficient, and detailed oriented. I would certainly recommend this property to other brides! The property as a whole knows how to manage a wedding and all the logistics that come with it!

ative experience we had was due to our assigned wedding coordinator. Although I thought she was very sweet, which makes me feel bad to complain, but she didn't seem to have been properly trained yet, and was so scattered throughout the whole process, that she added to a lot of the anxiety. I think she may have been new, because she was introduced as my new coordinator about a month into the process, so maybe that is why, but I kept having to tell her the things about my package that she should be telling me, including that my dinner was sit-down and not buffet, that a golf card was included, etc. My dad and best friend ended up running around all morning the day of my wedding making sure that everything was set up the way that I had requested. Still many of my requests were overlooked.. i.e. I requested multiple times that my desserts be presented on the same table as my cake-- instead they were in the back of the room so I don't think most guests even saw them. We were supposed to have chocolates and champagne in our honeymoon suite which was completely overlooked, and when we tried to order it once we got to our room, we were told there was no one who could bring it to us and we would have to pick up the chocolates at the desk when we checked out the next morning. Don't let this sway you though, overall it was an excellent experience and I enjoyed my coordinator. It's not her fault that they put her in charge of my entire wedding without proper training first. She should have at least had more assistance and involvement from my original and more experienced coordinator. Of all the minor inconveniences, there were 1,000 things that went right and were wonderful. It was beautiful, everyone was professional, the food was delicious, the room was nice, and I definitely would recommend Brasstown as a place to have your wedding.

ure our day was absolutely PERFECT at the Sunset Pavilion. Seriously, every person on their event team is so great and they all worked so well together and took care of every detail. My wedding was exactly how I envisioned it and I was so sad when it was over!! I couldn't recommend a better or more beautiful wedding venue in Georgia. All of my guests were in love with the venue and the resort as well! The staff at Brasstown are very friendly and helpful especially since we had many out of town guests staying at the resort. The breakfast buffet is also AMAZING! Overall, my experience at Brasstown Valley Resort was very enjoyable. If I had to give recommendations on how to improve our stay, here are some things that could have been better: 1. the service at Brassies bar was very SLOW. We waited almost 2 hours for food. While the food was very good, the wait time really put a damper on us enjoying our time there. There could also be a bit more lighting on the outdoor seating area. It got so dark during our wait, we had to move tables. However the waitress and manager were very accommodating and apologetic. 2. While the rooms are comfy and have basic amenities, they could really use some updating and better cleaning. Some better lighting would also do a lot for the rooms. The shower was also very slow to drain in room 233. 3. The pool area is great, but could be so much better! Maybe an attendant to take drink orders so family members don't have to walk back and forth from Brassies. Updated towels and comfier outdoor furniture would go a long way to make the space feel more like a high end resort. The outdoor hot tub could also use a face lift as the jets weren't working that well. 4. Room keys became problematic at times. Sometimes they would work and sometimes one key would open multiple rooms. Keys at the Cabin were also a big hassle. Better communication on how the keys work and how the common area works would help as well. Overall, it might be best to update the key card system at the resort for something more reliable. Recommendations for weddings at Brasstown: 1. the girls and guys getting ready rooms could be improved. Having an actual full size steamer and not just an iron in the room would have been a huge help! In addition, the spaces felt a bit awkward and the girls room was a bit too small, and I only had 3 bridesmaids! Better lighting, more mirrors, tables, and general updates to the rooms would be great! 2. I cant think of anything else :)

On the wedding day itself, we (as well as all of our guests) were blown away with the kindness of all of the staff at BVR. Our guests are still raving about it - everyone we encountered was so pleasant and really went above and beyond to help with anything needed. Our wedding day was not only perfect because of the beauty of the venue itself, but also in large part of the people who coordinated and pulled it off to make the most memorable night for us. r all guests who wanted to stay onsite. The venue coordinator, Savannah, was easy to work with, professional, and timely! The scenery was hard to beat & we know we are going to get the best pictures. All the staff was friendly, hard working, and professional. Many of our guest shared that it was one of the best weddings they have been to! From the venue being able to provide a space onsite for the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, day of wedding activities, ceremony, reception and a late night party at the bar onsite. This allowed for our guest to celebrate with us all weekend long & visit with one another. They have a great list of recommended vendors and work great with outside vendors as well! I wish we could relive our wedding every weekend, it was truly a dream come true! I would recommend Brasstown to all brides on a hunt for their perfect wedding venue.

She was very detail oriented, and kept a calm, relaxed demeanor, which is exactly what I needed as I am one to get stressed out easily, especially by the million little things that go into planning a wedding. Savannah was also on site for the entirety of our wedding day. She supervised set-up, checked-in on my bridesmaids and I in the dressing room, made sure the ceremony ran smoothly, and then stayed around for the majority of the reception. Even then, there were other staff members I could go to if I needed anything. As for food, the chefs at BTVR do an amazing job. We chose the Tuscan dinner, which had options for everyone. We did not have alcohol at our wedding, but instead chose to go with the juice bar option which was non-alcoholic sodas, juices, teas, etc. This was a cost effective option, but also gave our guests a variety of drink options to choose from. If I can say anything about BTVR, it would be that it is an ideal location to have the wedding of your dreams. You will get a personalized experience where you are able to craft the perfect wedding ceremony and reception. Savannah and the other staff are easy to work with, doing most of the "heavy lifting" for you. If you want a stress-free wedding planning experience and the perfect wedding day, choose Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa!

I can not say enough great things about Savannah , from the first visit to tour the venue down to the last dance she has been right there and made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with through it all. On Friday evening we had a meet and greet at Brassies Bar & Grill , the appetizers, dinner and the service were all exceptional, Savannah even made sure that we had a private breakfast area on Sunday morning to enjoy our guest as we sent them off to travel back home. I would choose Brasstown Valley Resort again and again it was the perfect weekend and even better than I dreamed my special day would be thank you so much !!

We could not recommend this beautiful venue more. They include so much that eliminates most wedding stress like linens, wait staff, bar service, food, etc. And the food was spectacular by the way. Our families are still talking about how amazing the wedding was even after 4 months.

Our wedding was around 215 people and Savannah made it so simple to keep track of who had booked rooms and where we were with our room count etc. The venue was gorgeous and the day of I did not have to worry or think about one thing. The staff was so helpful and pleasant throughout the entire weekend. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful Brasstown was and spent the whole weekend there. I would absolutely recommend this venue to any bride!

are one of the many couples that was impacted by COVID cancellations and rescheduling, and Brasstown Valley was wonderfully flexible with us. We initially chose BVR for the location, the availability of lodging onsite, and the amazing hospitality. We worked with Savannah, who was incredibly responsive, organized, and problem-solving. BVR has incredible service all the way from housekeeping to bartenders to behind-the-scenes administration, and because of the wonderful staff, our long-awaited marriage celebration went on without a hitch. There were multiple weddings going on concurrently, but BVR made us, and our guests, feel like we were the only ones. We whole-heartedly and without hesitation recommend BVR as a wedding venue. Thanks again to BVR!!

help me. I had to postpone our tour due to getting Covid and was devastated because I knew they only had 2 Saturdays left in Fall 2021. Savannah was kind enough to place one of the Saturdays on hold for us until I recovered and was able to tour the venue with my fiance and parents. Besides, the beautiful venue, Savannah's focus on customer service was a huge reason why we booked BVR for our wedding. Being from out of town, it was really important to me that our venue was easy to work with and communicate with. After we booked BVR, Savannah made the planning process so easy. Anytime I had a question or wanted to change something, I heard back from Savannah within 24 hours. It was clear she was going to do everything in her power to make our wedding perfect and she was able to combine my vision with my parent's vision. The BVR wedding packages allow you to customize your wedding as much or as little as you like. You're able to use their standard linens, chairs, and decor that are included in your wedding package fees or you can upgrade the linens, chairs, and decor rentals. You're even able to go on their rental vendor's website and request free linen swatches be mailed to your house so you can see everything in person before making a final decision. I was also able to use the resort's spa for my hair and makeup (definitely recommend!). If you have Celiacs Disease, BVR is the wedding venue for you! I and several family members can't have gluten so it was very important to me that my caterer was not only able to accommodate that but that they understood the severity of cross-contamination (no one wants to be sick on their wedding day!). Had my fiance not been an Italian who wanted "real" pasta at our wedding, we would have been able to have a fully gluten-free wedding (we were also able to serve gluten-free pasta). Besides needing gluten-free options, we also had another unique request--we wanted to include our dogs in the ceremony. Savannah and BVR were totally on board with our plans to include our dogs! While dogs aren't allowed to stay in the resort, BVR does have cottage/resort rooms that look the same as the resort rooms and dogs are allowed to stay in those rooms--we actually preferred this because the cottages are more secluded and right by hiking trails. I would highly recommend getting married at Brasstown Valley Resort!

The team at Brasstown worked flawlessly with our other wedding vendors to create a fairy tale wedding! Their team worked with us on special requests and were very fair in their pricing. One highlight was the seated reception dinner in the ballrooms for over a hundred people and the food was the quality of what you would get at a Michelin rated restaurant!! It is rare that a banquet of that size can produce such wonderful quality dinners all at once!! Hats off to the chef and all the staff!! We would highly recommend Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa for a wedding venue!!

From the moment we first met to discuss the possibility of our wedding until we left after our honeymoon, every single need was met with excellence, professionalism and promptness. The entire staff is unbelievably helpful and it made for the perfect wedding. Having everything conveniently in one location made it easy for our family to gather, socialize and celebrate every minute of our wedding. The restaurant hosted our rehearsal dinner and the private dining room was a perfect location. Our wedding, held in the Creekside Pavilion, was the most magical venue ever - it was secluded and private and felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. Our guests loved being able to stay in either the cabins or the lodge and it made gathering easy because we were all conveniently located together. The ladies at the Spa took excellent care of me and did a fantastic job on my hair! And, after our wedding, we had a great time horse riding at the stables. Literally, Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa is the PERFECT place to host your wedding! The only disappointment I have is that the wedding is over...I want to go back and do it all again! :)

I’m very detail oriented but could only work on wedding planning for a couple of hours a week so I’d bombard Kristen with emails and questions all at once. She kept me in the loop on all decisions, provided answers and explanations to all my questions and all within a day of me asking. The food was delicious and warm when served and they were able to accommodate our large group of vegetarians. We did end up having a couple of “wedding crashers” show up (locals from the college up the road) - they got drinks from the bar, signed our guest book and tried to steal a bottle of wine - however they were caught and the hotel security was able to detain them without our guests knowing anything was happening. We truly had our dream wedding with a beautiful location, amazing guest accommodations, delicious food and a fantastic celebration. Thank you Brasstown!

We hosted a tail-gate themed cocktail hour indoors and Stephanie and the catering staff helped create a great atmosphere placing our tailgate games in just the right spots. The reception decor and the food were exceptional and the service was amazing. Stephanie and the catering staff went beyond expectations, seeing to every detail with expertise, courtesy and enthusiasm. The day was flawless thanks to the superb "Client Centered" service. When a bride describes her wedding as "all her dreams" you know you picked the best! I am grateful for the attention to detail and their ability to make our vision come alive. I enthusiastically recommend Stephanie and the excellent event planning team at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa.

. It was an awesome weekend. In terms of the rooms/ cottages, not the greatest. Wish those had more of a renovation recently like the main resort did. New hubby was bit by a spider in one of the rooms, and some of our family got cottages with really dirty carpet and holes in the floor. That pretty much recaps it!

It is expensive, but worth it if you don't want the extra headache of having to get together all of those little details. I had a little trouble with the room block, they double booked us and it was a nightmare but we were able to work with a resort down the road to get it straightened out. If it wasn't for that I would give them 5 stars.

The people making the hotel reservations are not so bright...but Teresa was awesome and by far made up for that. The staff in general at our wedding was also amazing, everyone is happy and genuine and helpful. Also...we were told the food was amazing as well. We were a bit too busy to take in the whole eating thing, but everyone loved the venue, the food, and everything about it!
