Bread+Butter Events

Words cannot express how incredibly fabulous everything was, and how much more than a caterer Shelby, Lucas and the team are. We had a very specific idea for our menu with no meat (but imaginative and interesting enough so that meat eaters didn't realize they weren't eating meat) and B&B delivered. All of our guests raved about the food and I heard from so many of our guests (some chefs themselves) that this was the best meal they have ever eaten at a wedding. We were so pleased with the attention to detail in both the food and food allergies for our guests (one of our guests was allergic to shrimp, and during the passed portion of the night once the servers caught wind she couldn't eat shrimp she didn't get any passed or served to her the rest of the night, just such attention to detail). Everything was cooked onsite on outdoor grills, and even with rain during food service for a tented wedding they were able to serve our guests quickly and efficiently. And now to the more than a caterer part. Shelby was there literally every step of the way with us. Since we picked bread and butter before picking our venue, she helped with us asking all of the right questions for making the venue work for us and had conference calls with all of us to figure out rentals/coordination between our other vendors/contingency/rain plans (which we did have to employ and were executed on beautifully). When our other vendors didn't pull through, Shelby was there, reassuring us it would all be OK (and doing all of the work ensuring it would be OK behind the scenes). Watching the rain come down in the morning before my wedding, I was so worried about how the day was going to go, but once I got to the venue I cried tears of joy. It looked so put together, so beautiful, and captured everything we had talked about with our vision in the months leading up to the wedding. Shelby brought her creative touch to the entire event. We cannot recommend Bread and Butter enough. A million thanks!!
