ulate and all of our guests complemented Hank all night! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him to everyone!!! Great guy, great DJ and we are so grateful to him for creating such an awesome experience for us🥳

nformation was able to be filled out online and on the go. Hank took all of our special requests seriously and our personalized ceremony music was timed perfectly. During the reception he was a blast, kept the party energy high and seemed to be having just as much fun as our guests. He played the songs on our initial list, as well as making sure to prioritize my wife’s requests in between. All and all Hank went above and beyond to ensure our day was truly special! 10 out of 10 would hire again!
Hank was an excellent person to work with and he exceeded all of our expectations as well as our guest expectations. We had an amazing time because of Hank!!

Hank was awesome to work with. He’s around my age so he knew how to draw a crowd onto the dance floor, but it wasn’t just us in our mid to late 20s dancing! My grandma was, husband...
s grandpa was, and everyone was enjoying our reception! He was very responsive and extremely flexible with last minute changes and add-ons. We had a conversation a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was sent and would go how I envisioned it. The flow of everything went great and the music was focused around all ages. The lights were perfect for under our outdoor tent too even in the nasty rain we dealt with. A nice soft white during dinner and then multiple colored lights shining in the tent for the reception. Highly recommend!
Hank was so easy to work and we got lots of compliments on him from our guests! He made it super easy to pick out all of our songs and lay out our plan for the big day. By the time...
our open dancing had started, it took some work to get people going - but Hank managed to get everyone hyped and got the party going! Best part too was how affordable he was. Would definitely hire again.

ompetitive and every penny is worth it. Our day went off without a hitch! All announcements were made correctly, ceremony music cued perfectly with the proper cuts made, and the dancing portion of our night was so fun with awesome song selections. I would highly recommend Breaking the Norm Entertainment and Lighting to any couple!
Best DJ in the area. Hank is extremely accommodating and will make the event perfect
Hank was super nice and so easy to work with! The portal that he uses made it easy to select songs for each event and include the time that it would start. Everyone loved the music...
and several people told me later how surprised they were that so many people were on the dance floor all night, especially for a Sunday wedding! I had a former coworker even reach out to get my playlist (that was 75% Hank!) since she heard such great things about it from one of our mutual friends. My husband was impressed by how great Hank was at adjusting on the fly and seamlessly transitioning a song to the version he wanted! Hank was also great about doing enough talking to keep guests hyped, but not overdoing it. Overall, we would highly recommend Hank!!
Where do I start…. Hank was an absolute pleasure to work with and gave us everything we wanted and something’s we did not even know we wanted. He made the day/night a perfect event...
for all ages. The day after everyone was very impressed with the music and the way he helped facilitate the days activities! Everything went smooth and exactly how Hank said it would go! Hank did an excellent job telling us what he needed prior to the day.
Simply amazing! And fun! Would 100% recommend.
This was our first time hiring a DJ for any event, much less our wedding, and Hank was great all the way from prep to wedding day. Walked us through the process and let us pick as ...
much or as little of the music list ourselves as we wanted for each part of the wedding. The venue was a bit of an unusual layout, but Hank made it work perfectly! He had sound running outside with mics/speakers for the ceremony, indoors for the dancefloor, mics for speeches, the works. Thanks for helping our special day run that much smoother!!
Hank was incredible! His communication is timely and clear. He ability to read the crowd is great - for both songs and his involvement! Our guests were raving about his all night a...

yone has raved about what a fun party we had. He also worked with me to customize a father daughter mashup dance with my dad and it was so great! A bunch of our friends have already asked for his contact information to use for their events! Thank you again, Hank!!
Such a great DJ who was able to keep everyone on the dance floor even at a Sunday wedding! Weeks after our wedding, our friends and family are still saying how great the music was...
at our wedding and how their feet and legs hurt from dancing so much. Hank was amazing to work with from the start. He is very responsive and clearly knows what he is doing. His packages are reasonably priced and he has a great voice for announcements. The tool that he uses for planning out the songs for each section of the wedding day was very easy to use and very helpful to make sure we had all songs we wanted and had the chance to block songs from being played. Hank's experience helped us find common songs played at different parts of the night when we didn't know or have a preference of song. Such an amazing experience working with him and he definitely knew how to keep the party alive!
Hank really helped get the party started for our wedding. He was super responsive leading up to the wedding in terms of answering any questions...and I always have a lot! He was pa...
tient, kind and understanding. He understood the assignment, that's for sure! He made our emo, pop punk wedding dreams come true! We loved every minute. Our guests also complimented on how great Hank was! 10/10 would recommend him to everyone!! He'll make your musical vision come to life!

reception. Whether it was providing his own music selections for the pre ceremony, or using our music requests for the reception, he was so receptive and had great ideas. The reception was an absolute blast, he kept the dance floor lively and had great transitions. He also provided music and speakers for the patio area, which was great for providing a separate vibe. If you want a professional, helpful, and experienced DJ, I absolutely recommend hiring Hank for your event.

oom to talk to everyone who wanted to be a part of the process. He provided a form where we were able to share what needed to be played when and for what and for the most part, it went without a hitch! He was great at checking in with us when we started to fall a little behind, and read the room great to keep everyone partying til the lights came on. Thanks for everything!

n Hank’s ability to help make our wedding perfect! Hank perfectly coordinated the ceremony music, dinner music, cake cutting song, toasts, first dances, intros, made announcements, etc. He read the crowd, engaged with our guests, and made sure everything ran smoothly! You could tell he knew what he was doing and we had so so much fun! I cannot recommend Hank enough!

we wanted our day to run. When it came to our timeline, he helped us create one that allowed for a smooth flow. For our FOB and MOG dances, we were able to look to Hank and signal when we were done and for him to cut the song. He was very attentive to details and he had a good sense of the feel of the room. Overall, I would recommend him for any type of wedding as he is able to adapt to your style and desires!
He was so accommodating and professional! A few things changed last minute with the weather as it was an outside wedding, so we were worried to change the itinerary up, but all of ...
that was put to ease immediately by Breaking the Norm’s owner. He made sure everything went smoothly and beautifully, and we couldn’t be more thankful. And when I couldn’t be up to make sure everyone was having fun, he swapped the music to really pull the fun out onto the dance floor. Absolutely recommend!

ommodate all of our needs for our big day. The music he played made everybody jump onto the dance floor and made the whole night fun for everybody. After the event, all of our guests told us how much they loved the music that was played and how much fun it was. We can thank Hank for making it that fun! We highly recommend him for any weddings and appreciate the effort he put in to make our day special.
