Breath of Spring Florist

d Hills, Mich. by another event supplier. We met with Bruce ~4 times in the <1 year leading up to the big day. He took notes and kept record. I was never as organized as intended. Despite which, he was patient, and thankfully, he controlled the flow of our meetings to make them most productive. He is resourceful, and very confident. In retrospect, I understand how busy he is. He most likely didn't have time to meet with us as far in advance as requested. But he never made us feel that way. As the date got closer, he took the time to drive to/meet us at the venue to get a feel for the space, made recommendations on color choices, brought a sample centerpiece... Despite all of that, we still felt a little in the dark about some of the specifics... BUT, OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! I arrived early to the venue, ahead of the ceremony/reception to finish set up/meet with the Day-of-Coordinator. Bruce and crew were finishing. I WAS BEYOND THRILLED with what I saw! WE ALL WERE. BREATH OF SPRING TURNED A NICE ROOM FOR A RECEPTION INTO A GORGEOUS ROOM! From the head table to guest tables and other, THE FLORALS WERE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Breath of Spring arranged the most gorgeous centerpieces; some elevated (which we initially didn't think we'd like -- but loved in the bigger scheme of the room) -- Bruce had actually painted them in metallic copper to match our copper color scheme. He incorporated other centerpieces in candle holders that were prettier than imagined. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE FLOWERS ON THE CEREMONY ARCH OUTSIDE -- The colors! The generous and artful arrangement! Later, I saw that each fresh flower on that arch was contained in its own bud vase of water to keep fresh. Did I pay enough for all of this? The only surprise, money-wise, was that the final bill was lower than the initial estimate, which is Bruce attributed to fewer centerpieces than forecasted... WOW! SO PLEASED!

to be wishes. The flowers for the centerpieces were absolutely stunning! My daughter law loved her beautiful bouquet. Breath of Spring exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend them to do any floral event.

or and exceeded all our expectations. He also made a lovely flowered arch that went beyond our inspiration photos. He was very professional, the prices were reasonable, and it's clear that he cares a lot about making things beautiful. I can't recommend him enough.

m, helpful and exceeded by expectations. He listened to everything I asked for and went above and beyond. I highly recommend working with him.

nd the knowledge he had about seasonal colors and flowers really helped guide us to have exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The prices are also incredibly reasonable and he is very flexible with changes and knowing what works best. We will definitely find a reason to work with them again!

marks for Breath of Spring.

s would look like, and then exceeded my expectations at my trial consultation the month before and on the day of. The number of compliments we received on the table pieces, the bouquets and the corsages/boutonnieres was mind boggling. He was even able to incorporate little details at my request. (My bouquet was wrapped using material from a shirt of a loved one) His level of professionalism and artistry speak for themselves, I cannot highly enough recommend him.

g beautiful. We also didn't know exactly what we wanted going in and he was great at helping me realize my vision!

o amazing. He had so many options and did such a beautiful job with everything for our wedding. Would highly recommend to any couple who wants an A+ for their wedding arrangements!

reception. We got so many complements on all of the floral arrangements!! I had a general idea of what I wanted, but Bruce gave us great suggestions. We met with him at our wedding venue twice. Once to go over what we were thinking and again about a month before the wedding where he brought a mock-up of a centerpiece with a few different vase options. Bruce was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend Breath of Spring to anyone looking for an amazing florist!!

for. He took my ideas and created arrangements even more incredible than I could have imagined. He went above and beyond! I would highly recommend Bruce to anyone that is in the market for flowers.

yond amazing when it comes to flowers....we got so many compliments from our guests :) He even sends flowers to you when he finalizes the plan !

o-detroit!

beautiful than what I could even dream of. He is a master of his craft, and you need to trust his vision and instinct in order to make your wedding decorations come alive. Bruce also works with many vendors in the Detroit area, and his work is highly respected. Bruce can also work within any budget to make your big day amazing. Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

s of work he had done for other events to give us more ideas. We gave him flowers and ideas of what we liked, and he exceeded our expectations with our Chupah, bouquets, boutonnieres and reception table displays. He is incredibly easy to work with, and is well known in the community. I highly recommend Bruce.

actly what you want and makes it a reality. Every detail was perfect. The flowers, the floating candles, the fresh flowers on top of the cake, the uplighting teamwork, every detail wonderful and so incredibly gorgeous. Thank you for taking our breath away with such beauty!!

re exactly what we envisioned. He is great face to face and was fun to work with. If you are looking for a florist to answer all your emails and phone calls daily, he is not the guy for you. But if you are looking for beautiful flowers he is!

s hilarious. Highly recommend.

wn the stem and a rosary hanging off. The centerpieces were incredible too.. Bruce is patient, kind and awesome to work with. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

bsolute BEST! He is super easy to work with and accommodating in every way. He definitely stayed within our budget, and quite frankly, I think our flowers looked like we spent quite a bit more. They were gorgeous! With just a few pictures from Pinterest at our first appointment, Bruce went into the back room and whipped up several arrangements for us to approve in less than 10 minutes. He also volunteered to come to our church weeks before the wedding and then came up with some wonderful ideas for the arrangements and decor for the pews. HIs flowers are incredibly fresh and lush. He delivered on time and he always returned my phone calls (even after business hours). Between the ceremony and reception, with tears in my eyes, I called Bruce to thank him. We felt very confident about Bruce and he certainly delivered in a BIG way. I cannot say enough good things about Bruce and will definitely use Breath of Spring again.

bout how magical the decor was, weeks later.

e best part was the table display!! I got exactly what I asked for, even though I wasn't sure exactly what that looked like, hah. And my hopah! Omg, it was to die for. I gave him some direction but honestly, he didn't need any. He is a visionary and I would highly suggest to just let him do his thing because he knows what he is doing better than we (brides or others) do.

ro-Detroit area. He totally worked within my budget; listened to my recommendations and made my wedding look like my fairytale come true…everything was GORGEOUS! Bruce is also incredibly knowledgeable about all the venues in town. He actually is the one who recommended my wedding venue and sent me his contact there. Because of him, I found my dream venue and they were able to work with my budget! The staff at Breath of Spring is also great – everyone I spoke to was sweet, professional and helped me schedule with Bruce (since I was planning my wedding from Chicago). Bruce was also really accommodating and flexible about meeting with me when I was going to be in town. Thank you so much, Bruce!

made me feel any pressure to spend more money. He also had creative ideas about floating flowers in the candles or putting petals on the tables. I was SO impressed with the outcome. My only small criticism is that Bruce is not always warm and fuzzy. However, I think he is probably a big softie deep down :) Overall, he knows how to get the job done and is really a very talented man. He was timely and made a picturesque wedding. I would definitely recommend Breath of Spring and I am so thankful to Bruce for making my wedding flowers perfect. Thanks Bruce!

"up sold" me. Made my flowers exactly as I wished for the best price around. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

scription of the feeling in the room and they ran with it.

ittle more contemporary. Bruce did a phenomenal job by creating very colorful and rich centerpieces, tall and short glass vases. The room didn't need any other decorations with the flowers taking the limelight.

ctures. We found a color scheme that we loved and we just let the Breath of Spring Team have creative freedom from there. Our flowers were beyond amazing! I wish we could have kept them forever.

h made of white branches and orchids looks absolutely perfect in the garden which my wedding was set. There is no one else besides Bruce and Breath of Spring i would ever use in Michigan for event flowers. Stunning!

t was made of the flowers I had asked for but I had hoped for something more creatively put together. The rest of the flowers were nice but not exactly as we had discusses.
