They seem like lovely people, but I brought my dress which I purchased at a sample sale here for alteration… they looked at it for about 60 seconds and told me it would be literall...
y impossible to alter to my size (It was a size 4, and I’m a 0). I stood there so confused asking “is that it then? There’s really nothing you can do?” And they said no, the dress store probably sold it to me because they were trying to get rid of the dress and there’s not enough fabric on it and it’s so wrong of them to do that etc etc etc.
Anyway I took it to another alterations place for a second opinion and she had no problem altering it at all and said maybe they just didn’t want to deal with moving the zipper but was so confused why they were so confused.
Lol moral of the story is, get a second opinion before you believe your dress is a lost cause!! Maybe they just don’t want to move a zipper!
Michelle and her daughter were so lovely to work with!! They were so patient while finding me the most perfect wedding dress. Highly recommend!!
I recently purchased a wedding gown, veil, three bridesmaid's dresses, and a flower girl's dress from Breathless Bridal. Their inventory overflowed with gorgeous gowns. They were e...
xtremely patient and helpful with trying on dresses. The store is well-lit with a stage and plenty of seating for those accompanying you. I made several trips to this boutique for fittings and alterations, and they were consistently kind, professional, and inviting. Michelle stayed in contact with me from start to finish. One of the dresses was purchased without a fitting (at the bridesmaid's request) and was shipped out-of-state without issue. Another bridesmaid's dress was sized and shipped in-state without any problems. And she was able to rush an alteration for a different bridesmaid's dress. Michelle was considerably helpful, and her customer service bars none.
A big thank you goes out to Breathless Bridal for helping with alterations on my alternative wedding gown! I chose a gown covered in sequin applique flowers and I was so nervous a...
bout having it altered, but I had nothing to worry about! They were able to "seamlessly" alter my gown, including removing a belt that was sewn in, and hemming the bottom to fit the height of my shoes. I felt PERFECT on my wedding day!
If I could rate them higher, I would. GET YOUR DRESS FROM HERE!!! The owners were so incredibly helpful and patient. I’m that bride who had to try on everything before picking a dr...
ess and they pulled out probably over 20 dresses for me. They have such an amazing selection of such beautiful, unique dresses. I cannot imagine a better experience than shopping here. They are so attentive and kind. I came on a snow day and they helped so much with appointment flexibility and timing. If you are looking to shop for a dress, look no further. This is the place! I can’t imagine a better dress than what I got for my wedding day.
