t stressful day of your lives. Photos were the most important part of the wedding for me, yet I NEVER found myself stressing about the photos, and that was all because of Bree. At the time of this review, I've only seen one picture and it is stunning, and it makes me so excited to see the rest. You will not be disappointed if you book her for your special day!

Their communication style was concise, transparent and efficient, as they continuously checked in with us throughout the planning process. She was very assertive in her communication with us and others in the best way of directing and in the kindest, most professional way, for getting stuff done, to capture all that we wanted for our day, while also allowing us flexibility. We cannot emphasize enough her professionalism and kindness. The quality of their work was phenomenal - it was incredible, going beyond our already high expectations. Bree kept us on schedule, expertly directing everything from the timing of events to the photos and who needed to be involved in said photos, and being detailed oriented. She went above and beyond in more ways than we could have imagined, making our wedding day truly special. She also did our engagement photos and though it was edited a bit differently than our wedding photos (engagement was fall/winter time & wedding in spring/summer), they were perfectly edited with the type of background. Our videographer flopped a bit with some of our events, but thanks to Bree, we got so many beautiful and genuine moments captured that I’m forever grateful for. The groom (my husband) was first skeptic of the price we were paying but once our wedding day came, he was amazed - she was literally the best investment out of everything we spent that day… and THEN we saw the photos which proved even more how well worth it and great of an investment it was. We cannot recommend Bree Lea Photography highly enough to both family and friends and strangers. shoot. I was so nervous before, but Bree makes you feel so calm and comfortable. She knows what works in photos and what doesn't and she's also great at helping you find the perfect pose. She traveled to Chicago for our engagement photos and had a keen eye for which poses and settings would be best for our photos. She was fun and lighthearted on our wedding day, but knew how to get through our wedding party and family photos quickly and painlessly so we could get to joining the party! We loved the candid photos of the reception as we were able to see and treasure our loved ones dancing and enjoying the party. She expertly guided us through making a photo schedule that fit what we wanted from the day, and her experience was extremely helpful as we felt we wouldn’t have known where to start. We are now 9 months married and still look back at our photos often that captured our wedding day so beautifully! We are so grateful we were able to have Bree document our big day and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

Even before the wedding she was helping me finalize the wedding timeline and consistently reached out to make sure I was doing okay and answered all the questions I had for her. She listened to all the things that were important to us as a couple in terms of the style and type of photography we wanted for our wedding. She helped us create a Pinterest board with shot ideas and helped us navigate every step of the process, no matter how simple or complicated our questions were. She gave great advice about posing, background, and lighting to consider and because we met her ahead of time through a mini session, we were able to be so much more relaxed on our actual wedding day. She also helped us create specific shot lists and really stay focused so that big group photos didn't feel uncomfortable or take an unnecessarily long amount of time. She was able to capture every key moment we wanted during the day, as well as moments we might have missed during the reception that we just wouldn't have seen otherwise. We both absolutely loved working with her, which is pretty high praise from two people who don't always feel comfortable in front of a camera !! And you can tell she genuinely enjoys her work and knows how to put others at ease with her fun ideas and easy conversation. We will definitely be using her in the future!
