Located just 30 minutes outside of Albany on the Vermont border, this company offers breathtaking blooms that are fresh of the farm. Specializing in non-traditional, modern and romantic floral design, with blooms nurtured sustainably from their seed to their vases. Owner and Farmer-Florist, Liz Gaines is passionate about making your special day even more unique and invites you to get in touch if your floral vision aligns. Booking with Breezy Hill Blooms begins with a Questionnaire, to gather details of your floral ideas and preferences. Then Liz will meet with you virtually or in-person (if requested) to outline a Proposal. Beyond the initial inquiry, this farmer-florist will work extensively with couples, from variety selection to any additional help throughout the planning process.

Breezy Hill Blooms is a farmer-florist, studio designer specializing in weddings and events. We also tell stories through flowers with a flower truck (the first in Rensselaer County) and bouquet subscription. Creating modern and romantic florals that are unique for our couples is our passion. As the founder, owner and lead designer at Breezy Hill Blooms I care about your florals from seed to vase. We strive to sustainably source blooms as a seasonal farmer-florist. Our designs aren't "cookie-cutter," they're iconic and passionately align with your floral vision for your special day! An event florist should know how to make your vision BLOOM beyond your expectations, not just ring up flowers for the big day.

talking about (and asking for her name! I was initially drawn to Liz's philosophy as a farmer-florist but was very impressed with her initial proposal, project portal tool and her initiative. She independently coordinated a visit with my venue so she could walk the space and better understand the layout, which eliminated me having to play middle man. She was incredibly flexible with day-of timing, even making sure she was available during cocktail hour to help the venue turn over the space and was on-hand for a last-minute boutonniere fix! She was incredibly professional, calm and kind for the duration of our planning process - I couldn't recommend Breezy Hill Blooms more highly for your next event!

ision and brought both expertise and collaboration to the process. She was incredibly open, communicative, and detail oriented. The day before the wedding, she even texted me photos of the bouquets so I could provide feedback before she wrapped them. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much. Every floral detail was perfect. I am still completely obsessed with my bouquet, which featured simple white and light pink blooms that felt timeless and romantic. The bridesmaids’ bouquets incorporated more color and were equally beautiful. Liz also created a stunning fireplace installation that served as the backdrop for our winter ceremony, and it truly transformed the space into something magical. In addition to her creativity and professionalism, Liz worked thoughtfully within our floral budget. She was transparent, strategic, and helped us prioritize where to invest for maximum impact without ever making us feel limited. We felt like we received incredible value for the quality and artistry she delivered. I cannot recommend Breezy Hill Blooms enough. Liz is talented, collaborative, and an absolute joy to work with.

tunning corsages (on actual bracelets, which was amazing!) and boutonnieres that matched the color scheme we were using and looked absolutely stunning. On the big day, they came and provided greenery for our tables and set up our centerpieces absolutely beautifully!! From day one she was very responsive and easy to work with. The invoice platform she uses makes it easy to pay installments and send messages to her. She responded quickly when I had questions about an arbor and was so helpful with glassware sizing!! I definitely will be recommending to friends and family. Liz created the most beautiful flower displays for our wedding this summer! I was in love with the results. She helped come up with a vision for the florals, even when I was having...

a hard time committing to a specific color palate. We instead went with what I described as a “wild flower” look, which she translated into a functional, gorgeous results on the day of the wedding. I opted for a semi-DIY strategy, wherein she created the arbor arrangement, ceremony decorations, and bouquets/boutonnières and delivered as usual. She also delivered buckets of flowers and we rented her bud vases for my friends and family to set up the reception dining tables. I was concerned about the timing of the delivery in terms of my “DIY crew” having enough time to set everything up and get ready for the event. However, we had plenty of help that day and it went really well. Liz is an incredibly detailed-oriented collaborator who really went above and beyond for our wedding flowers. After the wedding, we distributed the flowers to guests and family, and took them on our mini honeymoon, basking in them for a good long time after the main event! As someone who had real issues with other vendors that day (one didn’t show up), it meant so much to trust that Liz had everything under control. I would work with Breezy Hill Blooms again in a heartbeat.

nt. Her website is so user friendly and straight forward which creates an inquiry that she uses to quickly provide a quote with detailed pictures. She then met with me and we walked through every detail. the items i was unsure about, she helped provide suggestions or options and made the decision making that much more easy. She went above and beyond working with the venue. I didn't have to hand hold Liz to make sure things got done. Her and her husband are an amazing team.
