Our guests loved the emcee, the interaction with the band, and the fun props that were passed around. In addition to reception music, they also provided our ceremony music, which was perfectly timed and made the ceremony just so special. te BLAST that it was! They brought our dream ceremony to life by playing the instrumental versions of all the songs we envisioned for the prelude, processional, and recessional. They played perfect covers of the songs we chose for the first dances, incorporated some last minute special iPod song requests during their short breaks, brought out some insanely fun props towards the end of the night, and, finally, played my husband and I the perfect private last dance to finish off the reception. The emcee didn't miss a beat and Craig made the planning process a breeze. We could rave on and on about how they made our night a dream come true, but in reality, the only way to experience how incredible they are is to see them do their thing live. We would hire them a million times over again and will definitely be catching them at some of their performances around West Michigan soon!

Their music - at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - was truly amazing. Many people told us how much they enjoyed the band. Beyond excellent music, they were SO responsive and detail oriented and helped me feel confident and at ease through the whole planning process. They learned a new song for our ceremony, helped shorten our first dance perfectly, and learned a new song to accompany a vocalist friend who performed at the reception. I looked at many other music options for our wedding, listening to other recordings and emailing with other groups. I learned that some bands don't have fixed lineups, so who you see in the recording may not be who comes to your wedding. Brena has been playing together for many years; the people you see in their videos are who will show up, which is hugely reassuring. They are amazing musicians, so professional, and so fun. You don't need to look any further than Brena!!

ng a blast on the dance floor was my #1 priority, and they sure delivered. Craig was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. We asked if they could learn our first dance song, and they absolutely nailed it. They kept the energy going for the whole night, even though it was a humid evening and probably about 100º on the stage. Our guests have not stopped raving about them! Even our neighbors who weren't at the party have stopped by to tell us they loved the music (one lady took her dog for three walks during the party so she could keep listening). Now we just have to think of another excuse to throw a party so we can book them again!

every guest at our wedding came up to us and told us that they were the best band they have ever seen. I woke up to several text the day after our wedding that were all saying "we cannot stop talking about how much fun we had on the dance floor last night, that was epic!". We couldn't agree more. Every time I looked on the dance floor it was full and every had the biggest smile on their face and the floor was never empty. They sounded incredible, played every song we picked off their set list, and were so engaging with our guest. They were nothing short of amazing to work with. Craigs responsiveness and ease of working with made this such a great experience. Their professionalism, calmness, timeliness and positive attitudes day of were so appreciated. They made us feel completely at ease and like the party was in good hands. I cannot recommend them enough.

during cocktail hour. My father played cello with them for our first dance and they could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. It was a truly special moment that they helped facilitate. From the moment we started talking with them, Craig was easy to communicate with and made us feel assured that the band would be great. In addition to the music they had a seamless microphone set up for our officiant and readers at our outdoor ceremony (even my hard of hearing grandfather could hear the whole ceremony over the wind!). We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Brena made an otherwise stressful situation a little less stressful :) My husband and I are thrilled we had Brena perform at our wedding and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a PERFECT band for their special day!

em to play for our son’s wedding this past weekend (6/5/21) and from the opening chords of “Come on Eileen” to the closing notes of “LovelyDay”, the dance floor was PACKED the entire evening. The musicianship of all members was incredible. We had asked them to learn 3 songs and they nailed them all (and Bohemian Rhapsody is not that easy - lol). To top it off, all of them were so nice and accommodating . I think they were having as much fun as we were. Two days after the event and the common theme we are hearing from all those that attended - beautiful wedding and a phenomenal band! Don’t delay - book Brena immediately!

You can preview them at many venues throughout Michigan because all these guys do is rock all week long. Just make sure to bring a spare set of underpants as you might ruin them from being so amazed at how good these guys are. I can't even describe how happy we were about having Brena celebrate with us. miss a song. The band was very interactive with the crowd and overall they were just a fun group of guys!! We had a special request for my brothers to sing during the reception and they were quick to say yes and even volunteered to play the back up music. The band was flexible and professional from the start of the planning process till our final song. Craig was our main contact and he was wonderful at being prompt and maintaining good communication. I have followed the Brena Band for a couple of years as they have played around GR. My husband and I no longer live in GR, but will make special trips for the Brena Band. They have a couple of groupies for life. We feel so blessed to have had the band at our wedding. I promise, you won’t regret it!

ht, the following morning, and into the days that followed, we repeatedly heard from guests from our wedding - of all ages and generations - expressing how amazing the band was. They took the experience to the next level and made sure that the wedding was a non-stop party. At one point I turned to my bride and said that this was like being at a concert; the band's level of energy was on fire! While I could stop there, I would be remiss if I did not comment on the band's communication from the minute we booked them, and their flexibility to adapt to MANY special requests that were certainly out of the ordinary. Specifically, we wanted to engage certain musically-talented family members during numerous parts of the event - they offered their keyboard for our family to use during the ceremony, for my brother to play guitar and lead vocals for our first dance (which required the band to learn a song not on their playlist), and for my uncle to fill in for keyboard and vocals during the traditional Jewish dance - the Horah. They were also able to roll with the punches too. When a communication error occurred and our MC (also a family member) was given the cue to introduce us before the band was ready, they snapped into high gear and turned a moment of frustration around (that had nothing to do with them) and essentially eliminated any potential awkwardness. Because of Brena, most of the guests didn't even realize that there was an error. And then from that moment it was a non-stop celebration. I will ALWAYS recommend Brena Band for any event in Western Michigan, and I hope I can see them again in the near future! My wife and I thank you for making the best day of our lives 100x more special!

he best decisions we made for our big day. We are still getting calls and compliments on how awesome they were. They keep the night alive and make sure everyone is having the best time!! Not to mention Craig, the communicator for the group, was highly responsive and extremely helpful in terms of music choices not only for the reception but for our ceremony as well. We used Brena’s string trio at our ceremony which was beautiful, Craig played the piano during our cocktail hour and the full band for the reception. Absolutely incredible! I only hope to be at guest at a wedding that hires them so I can enjoy again!!!!!

Steffan was our MC and couldn't have done a better job hyping up our guests. Craig was amazing to work with, and made the entire process easy and seamless. They even customized our dance songs to make it work better for us - sped up the tempo and cut a chorus out. I can't speak highly enough about Brena Band. We received SO many compliments on how amazing our wedding was, and Brena was a huge part in that. Thank you SO much, gentlemen! Same time next year for a repeat? :)

somewhat clueless as to what music I wanted played at the ceremony, but Craig had the best recommendations. They even learned the Glasgow Love Theme song for the ceremony and our first dance song. All night our guests were asking how we found them and how awesome they all were. They are easy going and were communicative throughout the whole process. There is an incredible amount of talent in this band and every song sounded great. Thank you Brena for making our wedding day so special! Best day ever!

edding and I am SO glad we did! Craig was very responsive to all my emails and calls, reliable, laidback, and easy to work with. With all of the logistics for having a wedding on the island, he was always willing to help. We still have people telling us how this was the best wedding they have ever been to! I give a lot of credit to Brena for this. They played through our ceremony, jazz trio during cocktail hour, announced the wedding party, and help coordinate speeches. They even rehearsed (and were so kind) with my mom who sang a song during the reception! During the reception, we had all ages out on the dance floor all night long. From the time they started playing to the very end our guests did not sit down. This is exactly the reception I envisioned and they made it come true! The next day every one was RAVING about them and looking up their schedule to see them play again. Our other vendors were complimenting how great they were to work with throughout the day. Even the locals around our venue said they wanted to come join the party with the band! If your still on the search for music for your wedding, stop now because you have found them! A DJ could never top live music, let alone Brena, they are worth every penny to have your wedding be one no one will ever forget!

They took the simple direction of "keep the party going and play to the crowd" and did just that! I loved how responsive Craig and team were, how much fun they had playing our wedding, and how much fun the guests had. We had no less than 10 people ask for their contact information in the days after the wedding because they had such a good time! Also, amazing job emceeing the reception! They took the time to go over the timeline with us, get phonetic pronunciations for the bridal party, and work with us on the perfect timeline flow. Honestly, our wedding would not have been remotely as fun as it was without Brena. I would recommend them 1000 times over to anyone. Genuinely nice people who had a great time doing what they love, and it showed!!
