She also suggested ways to reuse arrangements from the ceremony and incorporate them in the cocktail hour and reception. ut she is a "ROCKSTAR". Above and beyond and beyond and beyond.
We hosted our son and daughter in law's wedding, in our yard. The tent was put up Friday afternoon for the Saturday evening wedding. I looked at the tent and was horrified, as first time wedding planners none of us had thought about the fact that the tent does not come decorated. I texted Brenda at 3:00 and said "WE NEED HELP!" She was there at 6:30 PM and by 10:30 PM she created a magical venue. Mind you, this is not something she had planned for. She put it simply, "I need to do this because you are having a wedding, not a picnic". She is beyond amazing.
The reason we hired Brenda was not to do this transformation (but how amazing that she did), but to be our florist. There is no way to explain how beautiful the flowers she created were. She created a 24 foot arrangement for the farmer's table that can only be described as magnificent. Matched by the beauty of the arrangement on the arbor, the bouquet and the vase arrangements.
My son and daughter in law were amazed by the transformation of our yard. WE OWE IT ALL TO BRENDA! Without her dedication, we would have had a very different outcome. I'm sure there are many florists who create beautiful floral arrangements. I am certain that there are no others who would have done what Brenda did for us.
Dedication to her client is the best way to say it. So, if you are just starting your journey to find a florist and you think to yourself "she seems distracted, I'm not sure I am her priority?" Know that you are not her priority that day because the person whose event is the next day is her priority. But I guarantee that you will be her only priority when it is your day. And I am certain you will be amazed by what she creates for you and by how much she cares about you.

I came to her with a tropical beach-y theme wedding vision and I don't even remember giving too many details other than our color scheme and our idea for our centerpieces (pineapples with tropical greenery) during our consultation and she just ran with it! She showed me a few things she had in mind and I remember thinking it was going to look so pretty. But when I saw the flowers on the day, I was completely blown away. She had everything perfect! Every little detail was stunning. She found baby pineapples to add to my bouquet and to my husband's boutonniere! in the dead of winter, so my parents and I visited her tiny cute little shop in the off season, and she heard my wedding theme and colors and immediately suggested a bunch of flowers. She did my bouquet for 100 bucks, because that was my budget. I had a gorgeous bouquet of asiatic lilies, hydrangeas, deliphinium, blue and ivory, and she put in little shell wires that I had given her. It was fantastic. I made shell bouquets and boutonnieres, so my bridal bouquet was all I needed from her. Highly recommend her, although my order was not a large one, so I can't recommend her for a huge flower wedding as I didn't have that. For what I paid, I got a gorgeous bouquet.

I wanted a very loose, garden theme of bright oranges and reds for my fall wedding. She not only created the most stunning bouquets I've ever seen, but went above and beyond to give me the most stunning flowers that I had only dreamt of. While brenda may seem pricier than many florists, let me tell you, you get what you pay for and MORE in every cent. She hand wires everything, gives you vases with colored ribbons to match your dresses, and takes personal pride in ensuring everything at the venue is to the highest standard. ll me crazy things I didn't need and really ended up saving me money! The bouquets were ABSOLUTELY stunning. My bridesmaid's bouquets came with vases and all! If you're not sure where to go for your flowers, Brenda's Bloomers is absolutely, without a doubt, the way to go!

We met with the florist and told her everything we wanted, thought she understood the concept and agreed on a price. Wrote a deposit, and waited to get a write up of the agreement...
...which didn't come for 4 months. Right before it did, she called to say she made an error in our first meeting, she wanted +$600 more than she originally had said and when it did come, she had the coloring wrong(she said baby blue, we had agreed on dark navy blue). We were patient. Then we went to meet again. She never showed up, we left word with Brenda's assistant after 45 min. Come wedding day she took MORE money from us and had added things that we didn't ask for and forgot some details that were sort of important to me(ie no blue ribbon on my bouquet, wrong coloring for flower girls flowers, etc.). She was beyond unprofessional since she pulled me away from getting my makeup done to talk about money(my mother had been talking with her about this before) and then freeked out on my groom and his men when she dropped off his flowers with them because they weren't dressed. She inssisted on putting thier flowers on them, which the photographer promptly had the move(we even have pictures of this). The quality of the flowers were good, however I wouldn't say they were anything spectacular for hydrangas.
