Brenna was so attentive and responsive, and that helped us (me) to relax a great deal, as we threw together a wedding in 5 days in a different state. Brenna met my husband and his best friend at a local bar before our wedding--so cute! Then, when I arrived with my maid of honor, she greeted me and arranged for our first look. We never imagined we were "first look" people--especially my anti-photo husband--but I'm so glad we did it. The photos truly capture how we were feeling--him steady, happy and poised; me, crying, shaking and giggling. Brenna followed us everywhere, seemlessly becoming part of our special day and a part of our wedding crew. She had a keen eye for where the light was best, the best angles to capture my dress, and how to flip my hair. She clicked away, while we focused on each other, and those photos--where we're just staring at each other or laughing together are my favorites. That night, Brenna sent us sneak peeks and we woke up, the day after our wedding, to 5 faves to share with family and friends. Just a days later, we had an online album for viewing and weeks later beautiful hard copies and a USB drive with our little photo on it, filled with more photos than promised. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos, and we owe that all to Brenna! She captured the day exactly how it felt--happy and light and special. Brenna is a must hire! Her quality, pricing and eye for fantastic photos cannot be beat!

All her photos are so breath taking and well captured, I knew I just had to have her. She's incredible to work with, very flexible with meetings and will even text message you! :D That's handy in this day and age. She even accounts for "rain checks", which we thought we wouldn't need BUT turns out right after our ceremony took place it started raining too much to take the outside photos that we wanted. So we easily planned another day to meet up, and she gave us the option to wear a different outfit if we wanted too! :) We thought that was a neat touch, but we stuck with our wedding attire. She made my Husband and I feel VERY at easy and she "posed" us well, only because without her help we were just an awkward mess! HAHA! I was blown away when we saw our photos, they're ALL amazing and we love every single one! It also only took about 1 1/2 month (if that) to get our order from her, and it was all displayed in a very nice keepsake wooden box, and the USB drive is even a small wooden photo of your wedding day. We met at a local Starbucks in NOLA and my nerves completely went away. She was awesome! So bubbly and friendly. I knew my guest would love her too. She got to my wedding a little bit early to get all set up so we were ready to go. It took me a little bit to figure out, but Brenna is deaf. It didn't make a difference at all. She speaks great and with her hearing aides and reading lips no one even knew. When I told people the next day they were shocked. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants great pictures and a fun, professional photographer. We had such a great time together we are going to stay in touch.

g for July of the same year (2013). As many brides know... Planning a wedding can be stressful, add to that getting married in less than 6 months AND a destination wedding! I found Brenna online after browsing through other New Orleans based photographers and we both fell in love with her photos. She had a way of truly capturing each couples personality and it didn't seem cookie cutter or overly posed. I contacted her through email and she got back to me within 24 hrs. After speaking with her, we decided to book her immediately! She is so friendly, reassuring, and put up with my millions of frantic emails. Since my husband and I didnt have the chance to do engagement shots, she worked with us to have some pre-wedding photos done 2 days before the wedding. We LOVE our photos!!! She truly captured our personalities and shared the same vision for our photos that we did. She's gone above and beyond to accomodate and give advice and it was such a pleasure working with her. We will definitely be back in New Orleans in the future and hope to have her capture other big moments in our lives. She exceeded our expectations!

e & already knew exactly what kind of pictures I had in mind. I wanted more than just the typical choreographed, family member/bridal party portrait -- I wanted lots of candid shots of the sweet moments of that day. I wanted my album to tell a story. Brenna & her sister Dacie captured exactly what I was looking for. Even with a small, backyard evening set up, my pictures included all of the little details & the big moments....(like the BIG KISS!) Through this process, Brenna has become someone I call a friend. There's a comfort in knowing I can talk to her as openly I would a close friend I've known forever. line, I decided to give her a shot. It was absolutely the best decision I could've made. Brenna made my wedding day absolutely perfect. Because my husband and I eloped, we didn't have any guests at our wedding. Brenna and her assistant were wonderful to work with, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. She is friendly and funny, and you forget that you're being photographed. I ended up making a life-long friend in Brenna, just from the few hours we spent together on my wedding day, combined with the many emails and text messages before and after. She was beyond accommodating to my husband and I. We had planned an outdoor ceremony, but when it poured on our wedding day (not a problem-it worked out just fine!) Brenna was flexible and ready for plans B, C and D. The end result of all her hard work was some of the most gorgeous and inspired photos that my husband and I could've ever dreamt of. We are forever grateful to Brenna for capturing our special day and all of our emotions. ing fund was very low and we did not expect to be able to afford an engagement shoot. We were both pretty clueless about what goes into an engagement shoot, but Brenna was fabulous right off the bat! She and I emailed several times about what locations would work, what outfits to wear, how much make up to put on, etc. She answered all of my questions and was very receptive to all of my suggestions. The day of the engagement shoot was fantastic! Even though it was a free session, you would have never known it by all the effort Brenna put in to the session! We went to three amazing locations, but it looks like we went to 7 or 8 in the pictures because of Brenna’s skill! We immediately felt at ease with Brenna and the pictures came out beautifully!! I have received so many compliments on how beautiful and unique the photos are. And all of this was free without any pressure to use her for our wedding (at that point, we thought we were getting married in South Carolina). She truly went above and beyond! When we finally decided to move our wedding to New Orleans, Brenna was the first person we called to see if she was available. While it was important to me to find vendors who were willing to work with our limited budget and time constraints, it was also very important that we had people who we enjoyed working with. Brenna was the perfect choice! Unlike some wedding photographers, who seems as though they are only in it for the money, it is clear that Brenna loves what she does and she was excited to be a part of our special day! She worked with us on our budget and found the package that was best for us. She even came out a week before the wedding and drove around with us to check out all of the places we wanted to take pictures on the wedding day. The day of the wedding, Brenna did a wonderful job covering our small intimate outdoor wedding. We only had her for a few hours, but we were able to squeeze in so many beautiful shots and multiple locations. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her and she was even able to tame our crazy families (not an easy task!). I wanted a slightly more photojournalistic and vintage feel to the photos and Brenna was eager to accommodate. The best part was that she posted a few sneak peeks almost immediately on facebook and they were stunning! We should receive the rest of the photos soon and we are so excited! I highly recommend Brenna Larson to any bride in the New Orleans area and I will definitely work with her again!
