Brett was the absolute best! Our wedding was at kona kai 4/27/19 and he made all of our bridal/groom party feel like models! His professionalism and creativity made our pictures stunning. As we all know wedding before pictures can be exhausting but he made them fun! WE recently were sent a teaser of the wedding day photos and we could not be more pleased! He rocked and made our special day so memorable and we will have the most beautiful pictures to cherish for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend this talented photographer! He shot our engagement photos months ago and recieved an amazing guest sign in book & included in our package was a thumb drive to all of our photos. Brett Charles Rose Photography was by far, the BEST money spent on our wedding. From day one, Brett has been amazing. He was prompt with his response to our inquiry and invited us to his studio to meet him. As soon as we met him, we knew he was our photographer. He was laid back and down to Earth, but was still extremely professional and organized. (Which is a difficult combination with vendors.) He was making us laugh while putting together a time line and answering all of our questions. We booked him the night we met him! At our engagement shoot, Brett instantly put us at ease and we had such a fun time and ended up with some incredible photos! At our wedding, he captured everything while still keeping us at ease. Brett has such talent and such an amazing eye for photography. When we were going through or photos, we were amazed at the artistic and beautiful shots that he got. He got photos of us that we had no idea he was taking! Overall, our pictures capture everything we wanted from our engagement to our wedding, and more. Brett was so great with our entire family! He worked with us when we changed our original wedding date and even showed up early to take pictures of the venue. From our engagement shoot to our send off I enjoyed that he was a big part of our special day.

While researching photographers, Brett’s work immediately stood out. His artistic eye for details, background and lighting are apparent from his work. We met with him and hired him right away. Our engagement photos are to die for, and we didn’t think it was possible but our wedding photos are even better!! He's all our guests have talked about, and he did an amazing job for us. He's fully committed to his profession and his dedication is top notch. One of the areas that you don't want to skimp out on is pictures (cut back on flowers, invites/menus, furniture rental- trust me, you won't regret not renting that couch no one sat on!) but pictures are a tangible memory that you will cherish forever. the 2 vendors that we found the most worthwhile were venue and photographer- which is where Brett comes. Brett is passionate and dedicated to his work, its not just a job for him. He goes above and beyond. If that means going overtime, waiting for the light to be just right, being patient with unruly animals- Brett will do it to get that shot. His work is artistic, pushing the envelope just the right amount and the furthest thing from a high school headshot. Go with Brett as your photographer- he will capture in print the memories you want to cherish forever.

There isn't anything I could say that wasn't 100% positive. The pictures speak for themselves, I love them all. Brett was able to get some great candids of the people I love, that I will treasure for a lifetime. He also got people to come out of their shells and be silly in his photo bus. I found some great pictures of my Grandmother. The engagement shoot pictures are as amazing as the wedding photo's. Absolutely loved working with him.

Quite simply, Brett is an extremely talented and professional photographer. Brett!!! Words can not describe how amazingly talented this man is! Went to the bridal bezar and stumbled across his work and literally my breath was taken away! We shook hands with him and set up an appointment and from there he photographed our engagement shoot with our 2 furry kids and let me just tell you his pictures of us turned out so incredible! We have used those pictures for Christmas cards for thank you cards for every kind a holiday you can think of cards it’s hanging over fireplace! Every time I look back at those pictures I feel like im back to that day! After reading the reviews on the knot we decided to meet with Brett to see what he could offer as our wedding photographer. After meeting with him, we got an amazing vibe and decided that he was probably the photographer we wanted but we definitely had to do our due diligence and meet with others. We probably could have just gone with him after the meeting because all the other photographers we met with did not match his enthusiasm and personality. Brett's photos are some of the most creative and beautiful photos I have ever seen. I am Obsessed with my wedding photos/engagement and couldn't have made a better choice in photographer. Brett is by far the best investment I made for my wedding! We used Brett for our engagement pictures as well as on the wedding day, and I could not be happier with the way everything went. Our engagement pictures are amazing and I am absolutely obsessed with our wedding pictures! Such amazing quality that I will love forever! Hire this man to be your photographer! He is as good as it gets! Photography was for us, as it is for many couples, the most important aspect of our wedding. We spent more time and energy looking for a photographer then we did on any other aspect of the wedding. I believe we ended up interviewing somewhere near a dozen people - overboard yes but it was really important to us. We fell in love with Brett right away - we met at his studio where he had set up candles on the stairway leading to the entrance to make it feel romantic (nice touch!). His studio is beautiful, he has some amazing pieces all over the room that had me turning in circles the second we entered. It was fantastic to be immersed in his work rather that just looking at books (don't worry, he has lots of books that will make your eyes bug out of your head too). We had a great chat and knew walking out of the meeting that we had FINALLY met our guy! We did an engagement session with him so that on the actual day we'd feel more comfortable. It was a blast! He gives great direction and pays tons of attention to even the smallest details while still managing to make you feel natural. It can't be an easy thing to try and coach non-models to turn into a model for the hour/day but Brett manages to do it. So glad we did the engagement session because on the wedding day when he showed up we were now greeting a friend, not simply meeting someone we hired. He was a rockstar all day long. He took everything we said to heart and made sure to get shots that were important to us. He worked so hard to make sure every moment was captured. He was on ladders, crawling on the ground, crawling on the rocks at La Jolla Cove, he stopped traffic for us (literally), partially cleared out a restaurant for us! He really went above and beyond every expectation we had and my husband and I could not stop commenting to each other throughout the day with how glad we were that we had gotten Brett. One of our wedding guests came up to us and said, "I don't know anything about photography but THAT guy is a photographer!!" That was a big theme of the night, everyone told us how impressed they were with him! Brett's work is simply breathtaking. His lifetime of experience (literally lifetime, ask him how he became a photographer) is so very evident in the finished product. He doesn't simply take pictures, he creates art. Brett is SERIOUSLY THE BEST!!!!!! We knew that for our Wedding what we would remember most after all of the hustle and bustle were going to be our memories of that day; something only an experienced photographer would be able to capture. After I met Brett at a Bridal Expo I absolutely knew he was going to be the one to capture those memories perfectly. Brett it not just a photographer on your wedding day he is also a friend, planner, coordinator and overall a part of your day. Brett started with our engagement shoot in which he captured our love perfectly in a vineyard and had constant communication with us after the engagement shots all the way until the wedding. Brett is approachable, professional and overall precise and dedicated to his clients. He is very personable which allows him to really get to know his clients and what is important to them so that he can capture that on their wedding day. I could never have asked for a better photographer. The albums, photos and proofs are beyond beautiful and captured our day in its entirety. Just showing any of my photos to friends and family have made them want to use him for all of the big events in their life. It is rare you find a photographer with such precision, talent, and true passion in his work. His work is flawless and overall beautiful. I was blown away by the end results from the proofs to the album to the video. Brett and his crew are definitely the best photographers in the business.

We were beyond excited to have the opportunity to do a once in a lifetime engagement session in Paris, France with Brett Charles Rose. Brett did an incredible job of scouting the city the day before our shoot, so by the time we met him he had all the best locations and fabulous spots picked out for us. Brett had such an amazing eye for what would make the best shot, no matter how dirty the ground or how busy the street, he would be lying down on it to ensure he captured the perfect angle and lighting. We loved the way he adapted his plan when we suggested an idea or his eye was opened to a great new opportunity, which led to some of our most memorable and unique shots. His enthusiasm and passion make him a true joy to work with and we couldn't have been happier or found another photographer that could have given us the photos that we now will cherish for a lifetime. Seeing the results of his hard work was the cherry on top of our incredible experience. Brett deserves 10 stars in each category! Brett called me 1 week before the wedding to help organize my crazy timeline for my wedding party. I had a 10am wedding so we had quite the tight morning timeline starting at 6am for the groomsmen. Brett was punctual, organzied and so much fun to work with. We had a 18 person wedding party, a 2 year old ring bearer and a 3 year flower girl and my daughter 13 months old. Brett was amazing with all the kids and all the rowdy groomsmen! I was so impressed how well the little ones took direction from him and how beautiful their pictures turned out. I received my pictures just a few weeks after the wedding I was blown away. He captured all my favorite moments and all the details that went into planning the day. Brett definitely captured all the hard work that went into planning. Going through the hundreds of pictures,I felt like I was re-living the special day all over again. I have to say the day went as planned, minus the short time of light rain after the ceremony and still were able to get all the picture locations at the venue site that I hoped for. I would highly recommend Brett and plan to take advantage of his photography skills in the future :)

Brett was such an amazing photographer. I have seen his work on both sides of the aisle, as a coordinator and as a guest of a wedding. From a coordinator's point of view he is great about staying on the timeline and getting all the amazing shots! I can see how he works with his clients and makes them feel comfortable and at ease. I've also been in front of his camera as a guest at a wedding. His professionalism and demeanor are beyond other photographers. Brett was our photographer for our engagement and San Diego wedding in Sept 2014. If you are looking for a great photographer that is fun, energetic, easy to work with, and of course produce AH-MAZING photos, then he is it! You will see his work on his walls and portofolios in his beautiful studio in Old Town when you go to his consultation. He had great recommendations on places to shoot for your engagement/ wedding venues, hotels for getting ready. We got ready in downtown San Diego at the Hard Rock hotel (he arrived around 10 am), 2 pm ceremony at the San Diego Mission, and 4:30 pm Reception at Green Gables Estate in San Marcos, CA. We had 12 person bridal party and 200 people at our wedding. Throughout the entire time, Brett was so energetic, keeping everyone focused and keeping up the momentum, which can be difficult for a long day as we had. He had never been to Green Gables but our pictures were gorgeous. There is one particular photo that looks as if it is from a fairytale/ Midsummer Night Dream- the look and feel that I wanted. But honestly all the photos were spot on what I wanted- a modern feel for the prep photos, historic traditional feel for the ceremony, and a whimsical/ fairytale feel for the reception You can see some of my photos on his blog located on his website under April and Nick Sept 2014. Note: Good photographers range around $4,500. Yes pricey- but photography lasts a lifetime and it is worth every penny. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get- you will not be disappointed! Just an FYI- One of my bridesmaids is now using his talents for her wedding in Chicago.

Brett was our photographer for our wedding at Paradise Point in San Diego this past July. But it all started many months before that when we met him at his studio for the first time. We had drinks, discussed, looked at his incredible artwork around his studio and just got to know each other. At that point there was no doubt he was the right guy. And it was one of the best decisions we made! Brett is incredibly talented and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He not only captures timeless moments but has the vision to help create breathtaking photos. During our reception the sun was just starting to set and he managed to sneak us out so that we could take photos on the beach at sunset. These photos turned out gorgeous and ended up being some of our absolute favorites…and it never would have happened without him! Brett has the skill, organization, professionalism and personality to make any event flawless and fun! Words alone cannot express how much we love our engagement and wedding photos and our experience with Brett! I also did a boudoir shoot and this ended up producing some amazing photos and it was a great time! We would choose Brett every single time and we will absolutely be using him again in the future. I honestly do not know where to begin with Brett. Let's just say he is AMAZING!!! If I could give him a bazillion stars I would. He has great energy & really knows how to get those perfect shots you hope to get. Complete package 100%. I met Brett at a Bridal Bazaar and I knew then that he was the one to beat regarding a photographer we wanted to work with. He was so laid back and cool. Little did he know what was stored around the corner for him at our Halloween wedding. From the engagement shoot all the way to the wedding, Brett was a true professional. His passion for everything he loves, whether that is taking photos, listening to music, or surfing exhumes from his presence. He is just a wonderful person to be around and he really makes you feel like a friend instead of a client. We could not have asked for a better photographer & he is worth every penny! If you hire him, be ready for him to make you look like a model in your photos and who does not want to look like that. :)

We met Brett at the Bridal Bazaar at the Del Mar Fairgrounds last year, and his personality and photos stood out from all the photographers we saw at the event (plus he had already worked at our venue and we were able to look at an album for a wedding he shot there.) After looking over the work on his website and doing an in-person consultation, we went with Brett due to his amazing work (especially the creativity and vibrant colors in his photographs), his experience, and his easygoing, friendly nature which would help us relax on our big day. We decided to pay a little extra to add some time and be able to shoot our engagement shoot at both Balboa Park and at La Jolla for the beach sunset shots. Al and I scoped out Balboa to pick a couple spots and trusted Brett's recommendation on the beach location. For the engagement shoot Brett showed up early, gave great instructions, made the experience fun, and listened to what we wanted (we both love shots of nature and were very happy with how he incorporated, plus we wanted to include a shot of the 'I Love You' sign in ASL and the results were stunning.) He was very friendly and great at managing onlookers and other people hanging out at the location which gave me faith he would work well with our guests and families. Brett was very thorough, stayed longer than planned, and gave us over 200 photos from the shoot which came out stunning! We were able to use the pictures on our wedding website, for our Save-the-Dates, and of course on Facebook and for personal use. For our wedding day, again, Brett and his assistant Pete arrived early and stayed late. They worked efficiently, professionally, and were friendly and in good spirits with our family members, friends, and guests. The photos were breathtaking and beautiful and we could not be happier with our choice!! My dress was non-traditional (a turquoise color) and Brett did an amazing job at both showing the vibrancy of the color and providing shots that played the tone down. We received compliments from family and friends and are even giving some good friends the gift of an engagement shoot with Brett for their upcoming nuptials - they are psyched!

My husband and I met Brett long before we were actually engaged, luckily for us we had kept his card. Brett is the best photographer we could have asked for. As my Husband and I started to think about planning our wedding, we didn’t know where to start. So, in hopes of learning what San Diego had to offer we headed to a Bridal Bizar event. With so many vendors and so much to choose from it is easy to feel overwhelmed at one of these events, but then we saw Brett. I was drawn to the great colors in his pieces and the beauty that he was able to capture. Then we had the pleasure of meeting him. He was so energetic and fun we were both smiling during the entire interaction. After meeting with Brett one on one we were excited to book him for our engagement shoot and our wedding photos. My Husband and I are not always the greatest at taking photos, but half way into our photo shoot we were having a great time! Brett is great at giving direction so the pictures look natural but capture the best of you. Posing for pictures does take some effort but it was nothing compared to Brett, laying in the street or rolling in the sand, all to capture a perfect picture for us. When we saw our engagement pictures my jaw dropped! They were better than anything I could have hoped for. Brett captured the fun, joy and love in such an amazing way. The lighting was wonderful, the colors were vivid and all of the little details were paid attention to. I was so happy to have so many great pictures that captured such an important moment in our lives. The day of the wedding Brett’s team worked very diligently to capture as much as possible. They were polite and direct and somehow managed to get all of the sweet little moments as well as the big ones. From location to location Brett and his team never seemed to get tired or give less than 100% effort. They were always smiling even in the midst of what could be very stressful. Our decision to work with Brett was by far the best and most important. Our pictures are incredible, they bring a smile to my face each time I see them. He was professional, fun and kind at all times. He is an incredible photographer and a good friend, I highly recommend hiring him.

Brett was the first and only Photographer we met with. We were sold when we saw his photos but It's Brett's energy that really sealed the deal. He is so passionate and excited about what he does. Our first experience was our engagement shoot at the beach. We could tell immediately that this wasn't his first Rodeo! Brett is a true professional. He was amazing on the day of the wedding. We had some challenging timing issues since our guys were coming in by boat. Brett didn't miss a beat. It was almost like he was in 4 places at once. We trust Brett completely! Our photos are always amazing! He has taken several family photos for us since the wedding and he will be our go to Photographer from now on.

Almost 4 years later and I still look through my wedding photos often. Brett's imagine is astounding. We would be on our way to location to take a picture and something would capture his eye and take another - those were some of the best ones all day. He clearly showed us that he had a strong passion for his work and knew he would be a perfect fit for our wedding. We absolutely loved how both the engagement and wedding photos turned out. The actual engagement signing book turned out a little too good and we didn't want anyone marking it up. We ended up printing off one of the engagement photos for a signing frame. Brett was crawling on the ground and climbing the ladders trying to capture those perfect shots and we were very impressed with all his hard work. I am sure the wedding day is so important for all the brides and grooms, and everyone just wish to have the best vendors possible for their big day. It was not different at all for me! I believe among all the wedding vendors, the photographer is the most important one, since photos are supposed to capture the good moments of your day and that is what you will have for the rest of your life. Me and my fiance searched a lot and interviewed more that 15 photographers. Finally, Brett's friendly approach besides his professionalism and the packages he offered made it easy for us to make the decision. He did our engagement shoot and also our wedding ,and we are very happy with our photos. He is outgoing and honest and will not promise something that he can't make it. His photos are so artistic and he color corrected all of the them. He is responsible, funny, outgoing and professional. Our sister-in-law used Brett for her wedding and we knew right then there that we had to use him for our wedding the following year. He is super easy to work w/ and fun to be around. Brett was able to connect with everyone in the wedding party as well as all of the guests. Brett is a very SoCal laid back guy, very easy to talk to, but when he's shooting he's on another level. He will do anything to get the most amazing shots. His imagination and passion for photography are beyond compare. The results speak for themselves when it comes to his products. My husband and I were beyond thrilled at the volume and quality of photos that come from our wedding and reception. Brett was also very flexible with us when coordinating traveling to NYC for the wedding. He worked with us on the pricing to ensure we could keep it within our budget, but I will tell you that we got more than what we paid for. The colors are vibrant and he comes up with very original compositions. Some of the shots looked like they could be album covers or magazine covers, and that's because Brett will make you look like a rock star! He and his team are awesome, and genuine, good people. We hope to keep in contact long into the future and would recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer to check him out.

Brett is by far, one of the most professional, energetic and wonderful people to work with. Brett shot both our Engagement and Wedding pictures and every single one was perfection. He has an eye for the unique and artistic shots but also is able to capture the emotion and more intimate moments of your wedding day. I am obsessed with my wedding pictures. He and his assistant were professional and got the wedding party through all of the photo ops as fast as can be. They had us laughing non-stop (wedding party pictures can be grueling) and it seemed like they never took a break. They were EXCELLENT during the ceremony and got shots that bring me to tears. They were everywhere but NEVER ONCE were in the way. I swear they are ninjas; unbelievable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer; his personality cannot be beat. Brett is Amazing! Not only does he take the most beautiful pictures, capturing every part of your day but he also has such a cool personality. It’s no secret that pictures are one of the most important parts of your wedding day so my fiancé and I sought out to find the very best. It’s overwhelming how many “Wedding Photographers” are out there and claiming they can do a great job. But what we found was the ones that were clearly amazing were way overpriced and the ones who had reasonable prices were so “blah” When I found Brett on the Knot, I was excited! His pictures on his site were exactly what we were looking for. Meeting Brett for the first time, we knew that he was the perfect guy to shoot our wedding. One of our biggest concerns was that I have a big Mexican family needed a guy who had a strong but fun personality and control of the place. His upbeat personality seemed like the perfect match for us. It seriously felt like we were hanging out with a friend since the very first time we met with him. Our package included the engagement photos and without exaggerating every picture he took was just awesome! He is so creative and talks you through everything, posing you perfectly so that you get that super cool pinterest looking photos. We got the flush mount album and the quality of it is superb. A few weeks before the wedding he met us at the venue to check out the place and make sure he was familiar and ready for the BIG DAY. Even though our venue was up in Temecula he made the trek to make sure he was ready for our wedding. On our wedding day, he showed up way before the time he had to be there (I am sure he even stayed after). He was so fantastic- totally breaking a sweat making sure to get the very last detail of our special day. I can’t even count how many compliments I got on our photographer just the day of our wedding- before we even got to see the proofs. It was evident that he was working so hard to capture our day perfectly. He was on top of things, on the floor under things, in the bushes making sure he didn’t miss a beat. Of course our final product was fantastic! I picked up my pictures a week ago and I just can’t stop looking at them. I have cried tears of happiness just reliving the moments with the pictures- The compliments pour in everyday on what a wonderful photographer we had and what a great way to capture our wedding. I think the biggest problem I have is that I don’t have enough wall space for all of the pictures I was to print! Brett has made us life customers. I can’t imagine picking anyone else to capture the next part of our life together.

I have to say that I interviewed a lot of photographers for my wedding and hands down Brett was my pick. The thing that really stuck out for me with Brett was that when I began to talk with him about my venue and the style of photography I was looking for I could see the wheels in his head start to turn. He really made an effort to figure out what I wanted to see in my photos and gave me great advice/recommendations for the shoot. Brett was creative and helped me to envision exactly what I was looking for. My fiancé and I booked him right away and set up the date for our engagement shoot. Brett was very flexible with me when it came to changing the date of our shoot (since I did not have my outfit planned in time for the shoot) and went out of his way to accommodate us as much as possible. Our engagement shoot was a ton of fun and it was nice to have a photographer who was not only talented, but had a fun and positive attitude the entire shoot. It is important I feel for the photographer one chooses to not only be talented in photography, but also a lot of fun to be around since they are sharing your wedding day with. When I got the photos back from our engagement shoot I could not believe how beautiful and cool the pics came out. The day of our wedding Brett and his assistant showed up on time and ready to have fun. The entire day was a blast and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Our photos came out even better then I ever thought wedding photos could look and once I posted them on Facebook my friends/family went crazy over the photos. The photos literally looked like they had been pulled out of a magazine. Brett exceeded my expectations and I am so happy that he was there on my wedding day to capture our special moment. I give Brett 5 stars...and if I could I would give him 10!!! Thanks again Brett...you are awesome, amazing, fantastic, extremely talented and wonderful!!!:)

We used Brett for our recent wedding and engagement shoot. We loved the photos and the amazing colors ... He really makes sure he gets all the shots. His assistant was also very friendly - we loved the extra angles from having multiple cameras for various shots. We also had a large wedding party and Brett was great at taking control and making sure we got all the photos we would want after the wedding. He's fun to work with and open to any ideas or suggestions, although it was great that he located all the best spots ahead of time. We were also happy we didn't have to wait very long for our photos!

Brett is a truly amazing photographer! He recently did our wedding in Costa Rica and everything about our experience with him was wonderful! He took our engagement pictures, he did a beach session with us a few days before our wedding, he did the rehearsal dinner, and then the day of! It was great to have him with us for an entire week and he really captured every special moment for us! He had all of the pictures posted on the day he said he would and we LOVE all of the photos! It was really important to us to find a great photographer and get amazing pictures of our wedding and with Brett we got that and more! We look at our pictures all of the time and are so very happy with all of them! We love our pictures and are so thankful we will have these forever! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brett! WE LOVE BRETT! We are so blessed that we had Brett as our photographer for our wedding!
