There aren't enough words to describe how much I love Brett! not only are her images totally stunning, she is so kind, easy to work with, and funny! I was in two weddings that Brett photographed (my twin sister's and my best friend's) before I got engaged, so when the time came to pick a photographer, the choice was obvious! Brett has a rare ability to capture sweet, sentimental moments. For all three of the weddings I have worked with her (including my own!) she has captured some amazingly special candid moments. She also makes portraits and bridal party photos feel very natural, so the photos turn out beautifully! I love Brett so much and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is flexible, dedicated to her couples, a total professional, a GENIUS at photography, and an all-around fun person. I LOVE BRETT!!!

Brett could not have been any more wonderful to work with... from her fun personality to her attention to detail, she made my life so much easier during the craziness of wedding planning! She was quick to respond to any questions (no matter how small) and went above and beyond to make sure my fiance and I felt comfortable with every aspect- from engagement pictures to our first look. She even sent us an incredibly detailed booklet of her "tips" that was invaluable as we planned for our big day! Our wedding party and family even sung her praises! My husband and I are so happy we decided to hire Brett to do our wedding photography. Not only is she incredibly talented as a photographer and artist, she is easy to communicate with and did an amazing job making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed while she was taking photos. We had so much fun working with her! She included an engagement session as part of our wedding photo package, and as outdoor enthusiasts, we asked her if she would be up for going to one of our favorite local parks. She was completely game and even hiked up a mountain with us to get some great sunset shots! We couldn't have been more happy with Brett's work, from her excellent coordination with us ahead of time, to the beautiful photos we received from her soon after our engagement session and wedding. I AM OBSESSED WITH BRETT! I love her! I initially hired another photographer for my wedding without doing enough research (big mistake). A few months prior to my wedding, I panicked, and realized I needed someone different. I frantically called a ton of photographers and luckily, Brett was available. My 30-minute consultation with her turned into 60-minutes and I knew she was 'the one!' She is extremely comforting, easy to be around, and fun! It feels like you are with one of your best friends, which, during a stressful day, is really important. She made my fiance and I feel so comfortable and at-ease and she knew what she was doing. I actually ended up getting ready in her hotel room and taking an Uber with her to my pictures - long story. Her turnaround time was great, too. She sent us the full album within 2 weeks!

Working with Brett was such an easy experience. I was truly dreading a lot of the photography aspects of my wedding, while knowing it was important, but worried it would feel awkward and forced. With Brett, there is no such thing as awkward and forced. When she met us at our house for our engagement shoot we spent the whole afternoon laughing and joking around, which made posing for pictures feel natural and fun, and the shots truly show it. The wedding day was no different, it was fun having her there as I got ready and throughout the evening. We got so many great shots of us as a couple and of our friends and family. She made it all feel easy and fun. I would highly recommend Brett and am so glad that I was able to work with her!

Brett was by far, the star vendor of our Washington, DC wedding . Aside from taking beautiful, bright, professional photos and the AMAZING/unbelievable turnaround of our final, edited photos (I think it was less than 3 days), she was so fantastic to work with. Starting with the complimentary engagement session, she helped us prep for the marathon of photos we could expect the day of the event and helped to make us more comfortable with the entire process. She is so easy to work with and felt more like an honorary bridal party member by the end of the event. Leading up to the wedding we had a ton of communication regarding the timeline of photos (she actually helped me set my morning-of schedule!) and answered every question we had. My only regret is that I was so comfortable with Brett's abilities to capture our wedding I could have done a better job specifically telling her which additional detail shots I wanted to be sure she captured at the reception. The day of the event the time just flew by and I wish we had more time with Brett to capture every single moment since her photos are so stunning. We'd recommend Brett to all of our friends getting married in the DC area! Thank you Brett!! You rock.

Brett is great! Right away we had really good chemistry and I knew she would make my usually camera-shy husband come out of his shell. We had a great time shooting our engagement pictures and the day of our wedding, Brett and her second shooter really made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was recently married in Northern VA and had Brett as our photographer and we are so happy we did! Brett has an incredibly artistic eye and she has great experience as a wedding photographer. Brett is amazing! Between the engagement shoot, the wedding, and everything in between, Brett was flexible, professional, and WONDERFUL! The images she provided us with do an incredible job capturing all the details of the day, but also the energy of the day. Brett went above an beyond to make sure we got all the photos we requested-- at one point even standing in the rain to get a shot!

I wish every wedding vendor was as fun, enthusiastic, prepared and knowledgeable as Brett! I truly cannot sing her praises enough. I cannot say enough good things about Brett. Her bubbly personality is infectious and her professionalism will put your mind at ease. Her work is also extraordinary - I have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos! She went above and beyond to get the shots we wanted and made sure everyone in the wedding party was relaxed and enjoying the portrait sessions. She was also very responsive during the planning process - we met up twice before the wedding, including a full walk-through of the space. She even stayed late at our reception to keep taking pictures - seriously the best! We had a sneak peek of our wedding photos within 24 hours and the full edited collection within 3 weeks. Her price is also very reasonable compared with some of the more "established" photographers in the area. Book her now before she realizes she can charge double the price! Well worth it!

Brett was so much fun to work with! She made us feel totally at ease, and had a great eye. We got married 2 years ago, and I still look at the pics every week! Brett was open to our ideas and understood what we were looking for. Our wedding was very casual, but I still knew I wanted to moment captured properly.
