I can not sing Brian and Stacey’s praises high enough. The duo has taken photos for me in the past and I hired them to be videographer at my 10.31.2020 wedding. Stacey was my guardian Angel all day. She made sure my hair was perfect for the photographer, I was hydrated, and always checking if there was anything we needed. She’s the sweetest to work with and her company throughout the day really helped me remain calm. We had talked before the day, she knew what I wanted and I never had to worry they were missing anything because of it. Brian was my vision advocate. I was overwhelmed by all of the questions and decisions people were asking me to make. I wanted to go to a nearby cemetery for some creative Halloween photos and video. I wasn’t sure there was time and was indecisive about going when the time actually came. He reassured me that there was time, the reception would wait a few minutes if need be, and if I wanted it now was the time. His reassurance was everything I needed and the day ended with no regrets thanks to him. Their day of presence and professionalism were just the beginning of a perfect vendor experience. The end result was gorgeous! I got everything I wanted and more in their highlight video and additional footage. I can relive our beautiful day every Valentines Day, Anniversary, and any other day I’m feeling especially mushy and it’s all thanks to them and their masterful eyes for detail and the time they’ve spent perfecting their craft. I couldn’t recommend these two enough. You’ll have no regrets hiring them for your photography or videography needs.

Brian and Stacey are AMAZING. Our highlight video still brings tears. It was important to us to capture voices in our highlight video (not just music) and that is what we loved about Brian and Stacey. We feel like we can relive the whole day from how much footage we received. We got married in July of 2020. We changed our venue from metro-Detroit to Traverse City last minute. Brian made the day trip to Traverse City for us without hesitation. Brian was supportive, patient, and professional. Our guests raved about how he captured the whole day but was “never in the way.” We are SO grateful!

We hired Brian and Stacey to take our son and daughter in law's wedding pictures, October 5th 2018. I can't say enough about this couple or the photo's that we have seen so far. Not only were they wonderful to work with, but I don't think I have seen such beautiful work anywhere. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. By far, Brian and Stacey photography was the best decision we made for our special day! I personally wouldn't trust any other photographer to capture our treasured events.

We decided somewhat late in the planning process to hire a videographer, and I cannot believe how much we would have missed out had we not decided to work with Brian and Stacey. Not only was the video absolutely stunning and moving, but they were an absolute joy to work with! Talking with them via Skype felt like chatting with friends and we immediately felt at ease with them, even though we didn't meet in person until the wedding day. They were very good at blending in throughout the day- we had a number of guests comment when they saw the video that they hadn't even noticed that we had videographers, which was really important to us. Blending in, however, did not prevent them from producing an incredible video! Everyone who watches it ends up in tears, and the quality is superb. The voiceovers they selected from our vows and the toasts were perfect and really told the story of the day. We are thrilled with the video and share it whenever we get a chance. Brian and Stacey are truly gifted at what they do!

Brian and Stacey are not only sweet, wonderful people, they are incredibly talented videographers! We planned our wedding from a distance, and were only able to FaceTime before the big day, but it was like having friends around, and their filming style was so unobtrusive we hardly noticed them. The result was beautiful scenic shots, and really special moments from our day captured on video. I am so thankful we were able to work with them.

When I started the difficult task of finding great wedding photographers, on a whim, I googled something like "Michigan wedding photographers who love Jesus," and Brian & Stacey came up! I knew I wanted them as our photographers after seeing their photography style, watching their wedding video on their "about us" page and finding out they lived in Saginaw, my hometown. I have no regrets. We love our wedding pictures. These two are the sweetest most talented couple who complement each other in every way. I was so scared of feeling/looking awkward in all the photos, but they made us feel so comfortable and always told us that we looked good. I would love getting more pictures done by Brian & Stacey. It felt like we were with good friends when we were together.

Brian and Stacey did an excellent job with the pictures and the quality of the service completely exceeded our expectations. In addition, the way they encouraged our spirits, and handled the wedding day "environment" is a testament to their candor and professionalism. What an amazing job, if we had to do it all over again, we would definitely choose Brian and Stacey.

WOW! Working with Brian and Stacey from Simmermacher Photo and Film was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding! Having a couple cameras by your side capturing your every move may sound intimidating but we loved having Brian and Stacy as a part of our day. Brian and Stacey are a fantastic team! Their professional yet friendly manners put you at ease right away. During the engagement photos I was able to relax and be myself and hence receive some great candid shots. On the day of the wedding, I didn't really notice their presence, which was good because I was able to focus on the people and not the pictures. They captured so many beautiful moments that I'm struggling to pick the ones I want to frame! I did notice their amazing ability to breeze through the family photos (which could have been difficult!) in a calm, organized and unstressed way. Overall, the Simmermacher's take creative, stunning and memorable pictures of which I will continue to treasure. I would recommend them to any couple who desires high quality pictures to remember their special day for years to come!

I really didn't think that getting videography for my wedding was that important but trying to be a good fiancee I went along with what my soon to be wife wanted. As usual, she was right. Brian and Stacey were easy to work with all day and I could not be more impressed with their work. I would recommend them to any couples considering videographers, it can seem like an extra expense that may not seem worth it at the time but I can promise you it is. My wife and I love to watch the video on random occasions just to reminisce about our day.

Brian and Stacey were the only videography I even considered when choosing one for my wedding. I had friends who chose them as well and the quality of their work is incredible. Not to mention they are so down to earth and some of the sweetest people around. I have nothing but great things to say about our wedding video and still enjoy watching the trailer once or twice a week (which still makes me tear up). My husband & I were looking for videographers who could capture not just wedding, but us as a couple on our big day. Brian & Stacey did this and then some. They got to know us as a couple before the big day & it absolutely shined through in our wedding video. The highlight video captured every important moment from beginning to end and was a true depiction of us & our day. Our ceremony & reception video were FAR MORE than we expected. Each video cut through the clutter & stuck to the parts you really want to see, like the exchange of vows & the speeches. And to boot, when we got all of our videos from Brian & Stacey, they had included popcorn & candy in the packaging so that we could have a movie night. They went above & beyond for us and I guarantee they will for you too.

I had the pleasure of working with Brian and his wife at Simmermacher Photo and Film when my sister got married this past summer. They were absolutely fantastic and so personable to work with. They made you feel comfortable to just be you as they were filming the wedding, which is rare in the case of some photographers/videographers. They captured those special moments that every wedding deserves and loves looking back on. You never felt like they were in the way or trying to force a moment for the sake of the camera, which is what makes them a perfect team. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my sister's wedding video, but not only hers I truly enjoy watching all of the videos they create because of the moments they are able to capture.

Trusting someone with capturing one of the most important days of my daughters life, was tough. But as soon as you meet Brian and Stacey, you realize they whole heartedly embrace the importance. They have a tremendous eye for detail and embrace the emotion of the day. The comments I received from friends and family just kept comming in. "I can't stop watching the video", "I have never seen anything like it", "It was perfectly edited and put together", "I can't stop crying".....just to mention a few comments. I was married in July and am thrilled to say that I had the perfect wedding! The weather was beautiful, the ceremony was everything we hoped for, touching and funny words were said, and I got to marry my best friend. That being said, the day went by in a blur, and if it wasn't for the remarkable talents of Brian and Stacey Simmermacher, it would have remained that way in my memory. Not only was the customized DVD packaging an outstanding detail, but the memories & moments they captured were worth every penny! They did not settle for a one shot wonder, but set up multiple cameras and edited our ceremony and reception footage to show all of our best angles on the best day of our lives. I will not be able to use enough complimentary words to express how great this duo is at what they do, but I can promise you that hiring them is a decision you will be happy you made for years to come!! Brian and Stacey Simmermacher were seriously amazing to work with. Stacey took time to continuously check in with me throughout the day to make sure they weren't missing any shots that I wanted them to get. Brian gets major props just being able to work with the groomsmen (who can have a hard time taking anything serious, especially with how ridiculously humid it was outside that day). They were professional the entire day and we received nothing but compliments from our guests on how great they were! Going into choosing our photographer we wanted to make sure we chose one where there were two photographers. When we met with Brian and Stacey we absolutely loved their chemistry together as a couple. Choosing a photographer that had less of a traditional viewpoint was important to us and their porfolio proved that they would not disappoint. Also, at the same time we wanted to be able to afford the quality of photos we were seeking. They have plenty of options to choose from and were willing to work with any budget. I would highly recommend Brian and Stacey Simmermacher to any couple who is looking for a wedding photographer or videographer!

One thing many brides recommended that I not skip out on was a wedding video and I am so happy that I hired Simmermacher Photo & Film to capture our wedding. I couldn't be happier with the results, the day went by so fast and to have something to sit down and watch later was a blessing. I HIGHLY recommend Brian and Stacey Simmermacher! They photographed my wedding this summer and they did a fantastic job! They are friendly, warm, and genuinely want to do their best to capture everything that is special on your big day. My family, friends, bridal party, and guests all commented on how wonderful the pictures turned out and how nice they were to work with. Getting your picture taken can be a bit uncomfortable, but I can honestly say I never felt awkward posing for Brian and Stacey. They are open to suggestions and have their own creative ideas to incorporate as well. If you are looking for a great duo to take your pictures, Brian and Stacey would be a wonderful choice. I am having a difficult time choosing which pictures I want to print as I have a ton of cute options! :)

First of all I have to say...What an ADORABLE couple Brian and Stacey are! It was so nice having a married couple take our pictures. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Brian and Stacey were a blast to work with! I am so happy with how our pictures turned out! Brian and Stacey truly have a knack for photography. We have received so many compliments on our photos and people always ask who did our photos. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Brian and Stacey in the future. In fact, my brother was so impressed with how our photos turned out that he and his fiance decided to use Brian and Stacey for their wedding next summer.

Brian and Stacey Simmermacher took absolutely wonderful photos for our wedding, I seriously could not be happier! They took every photo I requested plus many more that I didn't even think of. Anyone can push buttons on a camera and take pictures. Most people can get lucky and capture a few great shots. What separates Simmermacher Photo & Film is what you can't learn from a website or even from reviews from past clients. Brian and Stacey have it down. They know he necessary ins and outs to be efficient, while asking you what you want so they can serve you the best. They were awesome during the day of my wedding. Every unexpected thing that came up (they will) Brian and Stacey were right there ready and flexible to adapt. I never worried they didn't know what to do. They were very professional, yet absolutely ready to have fun. You can tell when people love what they do and when they're doing it for a paycheck. They have the uncanny ability to make anyone love getting their picture taken-even if they hate pictures. They helped to make the day relaxed and structured. The guesswork was taken out of what to do next. I just wanted to be told where to go and what to do-they knocked it out of the park. The presentation of the pictures were next level. They were delivered promptly and we were simply blown away by the results. Amazing photos - they caught things that I never knew happened and that is priceless. You seriously cannot go wrong with Brian and Stacey. Set up a meeting with them and you'll be hooked just like I was. Not best of the best for nothing!

In searching for videographers we did not find anyone that compared to Simmermacher. We used Simmermacher photo and film for our video and photobooth. The photobooth set-up was great! I like that it was open so that you could watch others and you could also fit more people into the photo. They had a large screen to display the picture(s) that were taken. They had many great props. They captured everything from our day and were very cooperative to ensure they were not in the way of the photographer. Highly recommend them!

Brian was amazing during both our engagement and wedding sessions. The photos turned out beautiful and the journalistic style he uses keeps it personal. We had a pretty rowdy wedding party and the only critique I might have is that we could've used a more assertive leader in directing them. Brian's wife Stacey and Drew were also super nice and very accommodating. I would recommend Simmermacher Photo and Film to anyone looking for a great photographer that can produce a great product.

I had Brian as the videographer at my wedding and he was great! He is incredibly nice and professional and you could tell he really wanted to make you happy. He also traveled from Saginaw to East Lansing for me and his travel cost was really cheap. He did an amazing job and every one of my friends that get engaged I make sure to mention him as a videographer. I definitely recommend him!

I used Simmermacher Photo and Film for both photography and videography. It was one of the best choices I made on my wedding day (minus marrying my husband). Brian, Stacey and the entire crew did an amazing job capturing every moment in photography possible. My mom said "I didn't even know they were there at the wedding, they never got in the way and still were able to get amazing pictures". The pictures were crisp, clear and perfect. I have made albums, scrap books and hung photos on the wall from the pictures taken. I truly couldn't be happier with the job they did. I also chose to have Simmermacher photo and film do the videography. There were so many moments I can relive over and over. They captured moments I didn't even know happened because I was somewhere else. I received a video of the ceremony and one of all the moments throughout the day. It was so perfect. I am so glad I chose to have both photo and film. They truly did wonderful. I have recommended them to all of my friends getting married. Great job guys!!

On behalf of our daughter Brenda and her new husband Mark, we would like to give Brian Simmermacher a two thumbs up for the great videographer work he did at their wedding. When my fiance told me she wanted to get a video done along with a pictures I was a little skeptical. This was mostly due to the cost. I was completely wrong! Dont let her know that I said that! The money we spent on Brian was the best thing we spent our money on for the whole wedding! I was blown away!

We absolutely LOVED our video. I watched it over and over. Even people that didn't attend the wedding felt that they could really feel that they had been a part of it by watching this video! Brian took video from three different angles and put it all together so that each special moment was captured in time. One of our favorite features was the highlights video. That's what got me teared up right away! All in all we were amazed by the quality of the video and the creative ability Brian has to capture the emotion of such an important day!

My husband and I used Simmermacher Photo & Film as our videographer for our wedding and we were more than happy with the results. Not only did they do an amazing job, but they also had great prices. I was also able to keep in contact with them very easily through e-mail with any questions and updates I had.
