Also working the logistics out with Elizabeth couldn’t have been easier! BK&J is the best there is and our guests cannot stop talking about how insanely good they were! I feel confident in saying if you want the best wedding band, you want BK&J!

Every song was played live, even ones we expected them to play on CD, even our first dance song; the saxophone and the horns were incredible hits. Brian is a great master of ceremonies and got even the most sour faced older people involved before pivoting to tons of dance floor hits the rest of the night. We cut our cake to Cake and the bride came out to Jersey Girl on saxophone. I cut a LOT of songs from the playlist because there's certain cliche wedding songs I just can't handle and they perfectly understood the vibe I was going for. It was an incredible night and everyone couldn't stop talking about the band. They made the night and we couldn't be more grateful.

ld say that my husband and I are so lucky to have gotten the band to play our wedding, but in reality, I think in addition to us, all of our friends and family are lucky that they played at our wedding. To book them is a celebration in itself. If you are a Jersey Shore dweller in any capacity, you know and love them - true bliss to book them...which by the way was a pretty smooth process in itself. Their team is lovely to work with: kind, organized, responsive, flexible. The band themselves as human beings are humble, energetic, fun. The band as a whole are PURE MAGIC. They learned a few songs and even made my unique father-daughter dance song-combo dream come true. When Brian is MCing and the band is playing, people are moved to the dance floor and singing at the top of their lungs. Our wedding transformed into a live concert-party. My husband’s dad is a former musician and they even let him sing with them! While obviously I’m a bit biased in saying that our wedding was the most fun and best one ever, our guests can attest to this in large part due to Brian Kirk & the Jirks. It’s truly hard to put into words how extraordinary this band and these people are. My family and my husband’s family travel in-flock together to see them as much as possible - why not relive our wedding fun?! He is interactive, entertaining, and the perfect balance as the head of the band and the MC for the night. The rest of the band is insanely talented. Their lead female vocalist Kristin even learned our first dance song and sang it beautifully. Their horn section cannot be compared. They interact with your guests and trust me, everyone will love it!! We wish we could get married and have them play for us all the time! They were the highlight of our night and our guests’ too. r insanely packed calendar for our wedding and now we are life long fans - as is every guest who attended our wedding. Everyone came up to tell us how amazing the band was, and even ask them to play their own wedding / event. Brian, his band, and his team are true pros. With how busy Brian is he went out of his way to take multiple calls from me answering my every question and granting any special request. Nicole from his team was so responsive and a joy to work with. Brian made our wedding so special and made sure we were happy throughout the night. Besides being an amazing musician, Brian is also an amazing MC. He made our wedding the most fun party and had people of every age dancing all night. At some point I was literally hoping he'd play a song I didn't like so I could take a break lol! If you get lucky enough to have your wedding line up with one of Brian's FEW open dates, DO NOT HESITATE, book immediately. They are worth every single penny and then some.

Our guests said they had the best time at our wedding because of the awesome band. The performers are incredibly talented and Brian is an amazing emcee (he’s hilarious). Brian Kirk books up really fast so make sure you book them well in advance. We actually planned our wedding date around when they were available. We booked them 20 months in advance. If you want your guests to have you best time and dance at your wedding, you can’t go wrong with Brian Kirk & the Jirks!

ngers, but you will not find the range of singers and songs that this band can hit. The entire night everyone was dancing and no one wanted to sit down. We had my sister in law and my brother in laws girlfriend write and sing a song for us. At first Brian was a bit hesitant, as I am sure terrible singers ask to sing all the time, but he let it happen. He loved every minute of it and even asked them to sing a second song. The place was rocking. At the end of the night, he looks to Don at Clarks Landing and goes “I hope you don’t hate me, but this is a Monmouth County couple, we are going over the time.” He continued to play another two or three songs and not a single person left the dance floor. I highly recommend them. They play based on the crowd and know the best songs for each wedding. My wife and I have already committed when we have a house and move from Hoboken to hire them for our five year anniversary and hopefully other BBQs after that. I’ll even go as far as saying, the best band out there. Just make sure to book early as they will book quickly.

Music was one of the most important things to me on my wedding day and the playlist couldn't have been more perfect. Once we had them on board they gave us a list of songs to browse through and highlight some of the songs that we would want to hear, so they could get a feel for the kind of music we wanted. They did a fantastic job of mixing things up, playing songs for all the generations of our guests. Everyone was able to get involved in the music, even those that weren’t able to get up to dance. The rest of the party spent the entire night on the dance floor. Weeks later and everyone who we talk to keeps telling us how awesome our band was. Brian Kirk and the Jirks made our wedding a night no one will forget!

We flew them down from NJ for the occasion and they were well worth it! They were professional, coming on time and with ease. They played the best songs from our list and even songs off of our list that they knew would get us going. We were feeling it so much that my groom and I even crowd-surfed our own wedding guests! I do have to admit that even though they're our favorite band and we see them all over down the shore, I was a bit nervous that some people wouldn't be into a band as much as a DJ. Boy was I wrong!! When I tell you everyone was up dancing, I mean all 200+ people were on their feet from the first song until they closed out the night, it was amazing!! The band was so interactive - starting conga lines, playing instruments at the tables, and just overall creating a lasting memory for everyone there! Brian Kirk even invited one of the groomsmen up to sing "Rosalita" which the crowd went wild for and ended with a stage dive (I'm not recommending lol). We are still receiving rave reviews from our friends and family about how amazing our band was..and almost all want to know who "that saxophone player" is lol!!! They even offer to learn up to 4 songs for the day of the wedding, which I thought was extremely accommodating!! The event coordinator Nicole was also a pleasure to work with!! She would answer all emails promptly with great detail, we knew we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about the day of! Hands down best wedding band ever - they MADE my wedding night, and I guarantee they will do the same for you and your party!!!

ed. Fast forward 5 years and within 24 hours of getting engaged, Nicole had already emailed me back with their availability, and within 3 days of our engagement our wedding date was booked! Yes, we booked our venue BASED on the band's availability. Leading up to the day, Nicole was so easy and fun to work with. She had great suggestions for tunes, and all in all kept us confident in the band. At the day of the wedding - WOW!!! We had an acoustic guitar for the ceremony, who learned signed, sealed, delivered for us, and played the requested van songs to a T. During the cocktail hour, we had a jazz saxophone, who kept the atmosphere light-hearted without being too loud! In a room that carried an echo, we were impressed that he was able to gauge the crowd and make sure the vibe fit the event. Now for the reception - there are no words to tell you how amazing of a wedding we had thanks to Brian Kirk and the amazing band. before we even got the party started, brian went over the requests we made (let me tell you, as a fan, it was SO COOL TO TALK TO HIM!). Ok, hysterical fan tendencies aside, his consideration and diligence in making sure my husband and I were happy over the details was such a nice touch. Brian was a great MC - the perfect amount of talking, but all in all, playing music to get everyone dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor, be it the classic bruce songs, whitney houston, van morrison, billy joel, taylor swift. You name it, we danced! And get the horn section!! So much fun! No one could stay seated for long. Even my 85+ y.o. grandparents didnt sit down, and neither did the 8 month pregnant mom with her 4 year old. Brian Kirk and the Jirks were the ideal entertainment. Our guests have not stopped raving about it, and we know this wont be the last time we see them in action!!!!

From the beginning to the end, everyone was up on the dance floor dancing and having a good time. The band members were all professional and very energetic. Definitely the best wedding band I have ever seen and will definitely be going to see them perform any time they are in the area. At one point in the evening the three horn players moved about the hall and sat at several tables and played along with the songs. Our guests have been talking about it ever since (2 weeks now) and are raving about how great the band was in general. gs. I THOUGHT I knew exactly how good they were. I was wrong. Brian & every single band member were EVEN BETTER than I imagined. They completely surpassed my expectations in every way. Brian Kirk is by far the BEST MC I have ever seen- & I've been to weddings with other very popular wedding bands & I've seen some of the best DJs in action. None of them even compare to Brian's skill. Brian is warm & welcoming- from the first time he sees you & your wedding party, until the the very last note (& even after as guests come up telling him how fantastic they are). He puts you & your wedding party at ease as you are about to be introduced to the songs that you have so carefully picked. I'm not sure how else to say this but he does not overdo being an MC- he speaks the perfect amount of time & in a way that is fun & engaging to guests. He truly made our entire night about us, our love & our families! Now the band- The talent of this band speaks for itself. They are more than some of the best musicians in the area. They love what they do & you can see that throughout the entire performance. The chemistry between not only each band member but how they interact with you & your guests is out of this world. They are constantly smiling & having a great time. And the music is unbelievable. Let me also note that my husband & I are NOT Bruce Springsteen fans- not in the least bit. And the Jirks are known for their Bruce tunes. They did not play one Bruce song our entire wedding. They actually played a handful of Led Zep songs that I didn't even know they did, which meant so much to us! They put so much thought into every aspect of our wedding, This band is worth every penny. You will never forget how the music this band plays makes you feel- from the first to the last note.
