. There were a couple of things for my wedding that I really wanted to make an impression and the entertainment was one of them. We flew them down from NJ for the occasion and they were well worth it! They were professional, coming on time and with ease. They played the best songs from our list and even songs off of our list that they knew would get us going. We were feeling it so much that my groom and I even crowd-surfed our own wedding guests! I couldn't possibly give a higher recommendation. What an unforgettable night thanks to these awesome guys!

They helped us to throw the party of the year with all of our favorite people - I literally cannot explain how much I love them for helping my husband and I to have the best day of our lives. Every member is special and talented starting with Nicole who makes booking your wedding a pleasure.......we even switched our booked venue date from a Saturday to a Friday to be able to have Brian Kirk and the Jirks!!!!!!!! I read another review where the bride said if we had our wedding in a cave with no food or liquor it still would have been the best ever.......she said it perfectly! So talented, so professional, soooo FUN!!!!

Our experience with Brian Kirk and the Jirks was simply the best. Nicole was a pleasure to work with in planning and coordinating our event. She is so accommodating, easy to work with, responsive, and made planning our wedding reception so easy for us. Brian was the MC at the reception and he could not have been more personable, professional, kind, easy to work with and fun. He ran the entire night so smoothly and to perfection. The band is simply the best of the best, cannot express enough how amazing they were all night. We can't recommend them enough!!! The night of the wedding, Brian had my guests dancing from the moment they entered the reception to the moment our wedding ended. My guests are still talking about how amazing the band was, everyone saying it was the best wedding performance they had every seen! The entire band is so entertaining, they feed off the energy of the crowd and the horn section is unbelievable (Everyone loved Tyrone!!) Brian got everyone on the dance floor, he was engaging, entertaining, funny, and of course so talented! I can't thank Brian enough for giving us the best wedding!

I do have to admit that even though they're our favorite band and we see them all over down the shore, I was a bit nervous that some people wouldn't be into a band as much as a DJ. Boy was I wrong!! When I tell you everyone was up dancing, I mean all 200+ people were on their feet from the first song until they closed out the night, it was amazing!! The band was so interactive - starting conga lines, playing instruments at the tables, and just overall creating a lasting memory for everyone there! Brian Kirk even invited one of the groomsmen up to sing "Rosalita" which the crowd went wild for and ended with a stage dive (I'm not recommending lol). We are still receiving rave reviews from our friends and family about how amazing our band was..and almost all want to know who "that saxophone player" is lol!!! They even offer to learn up to 4 songs for the day of the wedding, which I thought was extremely accommodating!! The event coordinator Nicole was also a pleasure to work with!! She would answer all emails promptly with great detail, we knew we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about the day of! Hands down best wedding band ever - they MADE my wedding night, and I guarantee they will do the same for you and your party!!!

Jirks play. They made our night so memorable and exciting. My husband and I even performed with the band, which was a great personal touch! Everyone had a blast and people were dancing the entire night. Brian was the greatest Master of Ceremonies, even helping my older sister Matron of Honor, who gave birth the day before our wedding, give her speech through FaceTime. I will never forget this night, and I'm so glad that when I think back on this special day, Brian Kirk and The Jirks are a part of it.

Nicole had already emailed me back with their availability, and within 3 days of our engagement our wedding date was booked! Yes, we booked our venue BASED on the band's availability. Leading up to the day, Nicole was so easy and fun to work with. She had great suggestions for tunes, and all in all kept us confident in the band. At the day of the wedding - WOW!!! We had an acoustic guitar for the ceremony, who learned signed, sealed, delivered for us, and played the requested van songs to a T. During the cocktail hour, we had a jazz saxophone, who kept the atmosphere light-hearted without being too loud! In a room that carried an echo, we were impressed that he was able to gauge the crowd and make sure the vibe fit the event. Now for the reception - there are no words to tell you how amazing of a wedding we had thanks to Brian Kirk and the amazing band. before we even got the party started, brian went over the requests we made (let me tell you, as a fan, it was SO COOL TO TALK TO HIM!). Ok, hysterical fan tendencies aside, his consideration and diligence in making sure my husband and I were happy over the details was such a nice touch. Brian was a great MC - the perfect amount of talking, but all in all, playing music to get everyone dancing. Everyone was on the dance floor, be it the classic bruce songs, whitney houston, van morrison, billy joel, taylor swift. You name it, we danced! And get the horn section!! So much fun! No one could stay seated for long. Even my 85+ y.o. grandparents didnt sit down, and neither did the 8 month pregnant mom with her 4 year old. Brian Kirk and the Jirks were the ideal entertainment. Our guests have not stopped raving about it, and we know this wont be the last time we see them in action!!!!

whole process, from booking til the wedding day, Nicole was in constant contact confirming our program and songs and making sure any special requests we had were taken care of. The band learned our wedding song along with several others and they were great. They have such a wide range of music that everyone was able to enjoy the music all night long. From the beginning to the end, everyone was up on the dance floor dancing and having a good time. The band members were all professional and very energetic. Definitely the best wedding band I have ever seen and will definitely be going to see them perform any time they are in the area. At one point in the evening the three horn players moved about the hall and sat at several tables and played along with the songs. Our guests have been talking about it ever since (2 weeks now) and are raving about how great the band was in general. If you have the chance to have Brian Kirk & the Jirks at your wedding I would highly recommend them. You cannot beat the best.

ian & every single band member were EVEN BETTER than I imagined. They completely surpassed my expectations in every way. Brian Kirk is by far the BEST MC I have ever seen- & I've been to weddings with other very popular wedding bands & I've seen some of the best DJs in action. None of them even compare to Brian's skill. Brian is warm & welcoming- from the first time he sees you & your wedding party, until the the very last note (& even after as guests come up telling him how fantastic they are). He puts you & your wedding party at ease as you are about to be introduced to the songs that you have so carefully picked. I'm not sure how else to say this but he does not overdo being an MC- he speaks the perfect amount of time & in a way that is fun & engaging to guests. He truly made our entire night about us, our love & our families! Now the band- The talent of this band speaks for itself. They are more than some of the best musicians in the area. They love what they do & you can see that throughout the entire performance. The chemistry between not only each band member but how they interact with you & your guests is out of this world. They are constantly smiling & having a great time. And the music is unbelievable. Let me also note that my husband & I are NOT Bruce Springsteen fans- not in the least bit. And the Jirks are known for their Bruce tunes. They did not play one Bruce song our entire wedding. They actually played a handful of Led Zep songs that I didn't even know they did, which meant so much to us! They put so much thought into every aspect of our wedding, This band is worth every penny. You will never forget how the music this band plays makes you feel- from the first to the last note.

We both had MANY people come up to us during the reception to tell us it was the best band they'd ever heard, and it was great seeing my non-dancing friends dance the whole night. We are still having people tell us how great they were. They even learned (and were excited to play) a song that I danced with my grandmother to; that was my grandfather's favorite song. I can't even tell you how many of our guests told us that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, due in large part to Brian Kirk And The Jirks. It was the best money we spent on our wedding and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Just plain awesome guys. In terms of the actual wedding day, they were on top of EVERYTHING. Brian checked in with my wife and I multiple times during the wedding to make sure everything was perfect (and it was). They have tremendous range in terms of song selections and perform all different styles beautifully. We wanted to dance for the majority of the night, and the band was more than happy to provide the soundtrack. They kept everyone on the dance floor with not just the music selection, but the energy that they played each song with. The horn section is a little bit of additional money, but they are well worth it. They sound great and add to the party atmosphere. I would recommend Brian and his band to anyone who wants to have an amazingly fun and energetic atmosphere at their wedding (or any other event they play). fore we even had a wedding date!!! Of course, we were not surprised when the band delivered an amazing performance at our wedding. The band was fantastic and they had the entire wedding up and dancing. Everyone I speak to tells me how great the band was. By the end of the night, our guests had completely taken over the area where the band was playing with our dancing. And my husband got to sing a few Bruce songs with Brian...which completely made his night! Thank you Brian Kirk & band.. you guys are great and never give anything less than an epic performance! I didn't want my wedding to ever end!

work with Brian, the band, and their manager. The band's performance was exactly what we envisioned; everyone out of their seats and having an awesome time. Our biggest fear (which I've seen happen at other weddings I've attended) is that people would congregate at the bar, or otherwise outside of the ballroom, but not with this band. In fact people at the bar were asking to rush their drink order so that they could get back to the dance floor. And that's not to say Brian and the band took over the party, they just made it even more amazing, reading the crowd perfectly, interacting with the guests, and making the most of their time at the reception.

. The band even learned a song for our first dance, and it was amazing. Our guests actually missed parts of dinner because no one wanted to sit down. They played all of the songs we requested in addition to some crowd favorites that got everyone out of their seats--literally everyone (my Grandma never even sat down!). We are still hearing from guests about how much fun they had. I would absolutely recommend Brian to any couple that wants to have a truly unforgettable event. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special!
