ew we were going to need someone who not only took great pictures but who could capture great spontaneous moments because my husband was only going to be good for a few portraits at best. I was sold on Brian the moment I met him and saw him work at another wedding I was in. His vibe was relaxed, kind, fun, and very different than any other photographer I had worked with. From the first moment we hired Brian we knew we made the right decision. He understood what we were looking for, he engaged in conversations, he replied fast, and his prices were very comparable to others. The engagement pictures he took of us were stunning. He came to our house and made our home a perfect sanctuary for pictures. The way he used light and reflections was unlike anything I've ever seen before. We did not regret hiring Brian when all the COVID stuff happened either. We needed to postpone our big day and Brian worked with us, worked with our new budget, and worked with the new vibes of our Wedding 2.0 day. Everything leading up to the wedding was easy and clear - there was no stress with Brian. The day of the wedding my husband and I knew we made the right choice because Brian had us laughing, was very efficient, very respectful of what we were hoping to get out of the day and just so chill. His spirit calmed us all, and no one felt like they missed the party because they were taking a million pictures. He was fantastic. I got our pictures back the other day and they are the most wonderful things ever. He really took time to understand both of us, what we were hoping for and he truly captured us perfectly! He also got amazing candid shots of all our friends and family. Everyone at the wedding commented on how awesome he was - how fun he was - and how kind he was. I have only been a bride once (well twice, thanks to COVID), but I have been in over 20 weddings and I cannot stress enough how important a photographer's personality and spirit are. Did Brian get us beautiful pictures? Without a freaking doubt - all our pictures are PERFECTION. But what Brian also did, that I have never seen done before, was he listened, he made us laugh, he treated us like a friend, and he made someone (my husband) who hates taking pictures, feel chill, feel natural, and feel so happy to smile. My husband and I aren’t once to be photographed, so having that moment with him prior to the big day really helped with wedding stress. And the plus side? The picture came out AMAZING! We did them at our home as we want4ed our dog included, and everything about it was perfect! Fast forward to the wedding day itself, we had Brian and his assistance Adam. I was nervous at first because I had the guys and girls getting ready at 2 separate locations, to which everyone would meet at one locati9on (our house) to then drive to the venue. of our wedding day and keeping things moving to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. At the same time, he has a great eye for a perfect photo op - we were lucky enough to find some old arcade games in the attic of our venue and take some extremely fun pictures there! Both Brian and Sage were very laid-back and friendly, which made it easy to be comfortable around them, even when some of us are normally stiff and awkward getting our photos taken. The wedding went by in a flash, so I'm thrilled that we had such wonderful photographers to capture it all!
