It’s always been too much—too heavy, too cakey, or it just doesn’t feel like me at all. So, when it came to my own wedding, booking a makeup artist was something I knew I wanted to do, but I was really nervous about it. I’ve never loved the end result before. That all completely changed when I met Brianna for my trial. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel so comfortable. She’s friendly and laid-back, yet super professional. She instantly put me at ease, especially with my big fear of not looking like myself on my wedding day. When I saw what she did at our trial, I was honestly shocked—in the best way possible. She’s an artist who truly listens to what you want, validates your concerns, and knows how to bring out your natural beauty. I was blown away. On the big day, the compliments on my makeup just kept coming—it was bronzy and glowy, yet natural and beautiful—and exactly what I hoped for. She also did my Mom's makeup and some of my bridesmaids who all had a range of skin tones. Everyone looked STUNNING. She even held an umbrella over my 88-year-old grandmother when it got extremely hot outside. She is truly such a beautiful and amazing person and artist and I will forever recommend her to everyone I know! 100000/10 recommend Brianna! During my makeup trial, Brianna made me feel like we could chat for hours! It instantly feels like you’re talking to a close friend. After the trial, I sent her an email with a few changes I wanted to make and a few concerns. She addresses every single concern in a thoughtful email. I really felt like I was heard… even with the smallest concerns! I really appreciated that she took the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed email. On the big day, my makeup was PERFECTION!!! Brianna flawlessly executed the adjustments we discussed, and I couldn't have been happier with how I looked. Not only was my makeup flawless, but Brianna also worked her magic on all of my bridesmaids and my mom.

Brianna did an *amazing* job on my makeup for my commitment ceremony. I got so many compliments the whole night with people commenting how I looked like I was glowing. The pictures came out fabulous and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. I've had my makeup done professionally before and they typically don't get my coloring right but Brianna nailed it. I'll likely come up with a future reason to use her again!

Bri and her entire team (Gina was the assistant for my wedding) were amazing. I was worried that I was not going to be able to do a trial with my makeup artist because I was doing a destination/ out of state wedding, but it just so happened that Bri was in NYC for a trip and was able to do a preview/trial with me and I fell in love! Not only with the makeup, but also the quality, the experience, and with her as a person. It was so nice to connect, chat, and hear her story and her journey as a MUA. It was so easy to express my vision and she understood perfectly what I wanted, and made it happen! There were only a couple minor changes I wanted for my wedding day compared to the trial, and it all worked out so well. I felt so well taken care of, the care and attention to skin prep was great, and the small day of package to help get me (and my girls) through the day was perfect for touch ups and tears <3. Brianna was absolutely essential in my day. She rolled in with her makeup suitcase full of organized bliss, a Starbucks and a smile and I was relieved from the moment she got there. She effortlessly worked through my wedding party way ahead of time yet taking as much time as she needed with everyone. I kept hearing laughing and could feel the smiles from the other room while I steamed my dress. After having a hair disaster, I sat with Brianna as she created my look and felt infinity better just having her as a part of my day. Brianna is hands down the best makeup artist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. It took me so long to decide on the right makeup artist for my vibe and the look I was going for on my wedding day. I have gotten my makeup done professionally previously and was always left feeling like I fully didn't look like myself anymore (aka hating it). With Bri, she listened intently to what I was looking for and truly made me feel like me (but better!) on my big day. On top of that, she is just simply the best to hang with. Bri did my the makeup for my sisters wedding last year and I loved it! I was so happy she could do mine! She is super efficient and really good at what she does. If you have any worries about your MUA staying on schedule, hire Bri! I really appreciate how Bri focuses and takes time to prep your skin before doing your makeup. I think it makes all the difference and makes the makeup last longer. I honestly don’t think I’ll like professional makeup by anyone else after having Bri do it.

It took me so long to find a makeup artist, first because i wanted so many things that contradicted, but let me tell you brianna knew exactly what i wanted, she listed to me and gave me what i wanted and more! The day of my event my makeup lasted all day and all night through hours and hours of dancing. I have so many picky girls in my wedding party tbh lol but she absolutely did amazing with everyone! My wedding party and I could not have been any happier! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE BRIANNA!!!

Bri and her team did the make-up for me, my five bridemaids, my mother, and my sister-in-law! I was at first somewhat worried I would not find an artist who had experience with make-up for Asian women, but Bri and her team did an amazing job!! Bri and Sophia did not only my makeup but the makeup of 9 other members of my bridal party on my wedding day and they absolutely KILLED IT! They both are so professional, but also so kind and supportive. They listened to everyone about their desires for their makeup on my wedding day and made everyone not only look beautiful but everyone felt SO confident. My makeup was everything I dreamed it would be, and it did not budge for almost 11 hours of photos and dancing. They go above and beyond to make you feel special and beautiful on your big day! First, let me preface this review with a disclaimer that I am ridiculously picky about make-up. I'm fairly certain I stalked every CO make-up artist there is and through my investigative work, I found Brianna. I'm so grateful she has a great online presence and showcased her amazing work, otherwise, I don't think I would have found her. I was so excited to meet her in person for our trial. After our trial, it was confirmed Brianna is THE REAL DEAL. Her work is flawless and on top of it all, she has the warmest and most inviting personality. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful immediately. Her knowledge of how the make-up will photograph really impressed me, as well. I think it's important to remember how things will read in a photograph and I felt so confident we nailed it. Skincare is also a big deal to me and I really appreciated her approach to prepping the skin prior to applying the make-up. My wedding morning was fantastic with her and all of my bridesmaids were in love with their make-up. I loved my bridal make-up so much and felt truly beautiful that day. Brianna is like a magician but with a makeup brush instead of a wand 😂 She is one of the sweetest humans! We eloped in Colorado and live 10 hours from there so I couldn’t get a preview or even have a chance to meet her before the wedding, even so she was so easy to work with as if we’ve met a hundred times and when I asked for a specific style of makeup, she did it exactly how I asked and better. Well, here's a glimpse of what was going through my mind: - I don't know what I want... but I know what I DON'T want... will the MUA understand? How do I communicate these things? How will they take it? - I kind of like this look... but I don't know if it'll look good on me - I'm not really seeing people with my facial features (with looks I like) in inspiration photos.... let alone in makeup portfolios - Both my mom and my sister are particular about their makeup... what if they hate their looks on the wedding day? - Too many unknowns! I'm overwhelmed! Ahhhh If you related to any of these thoughts, REACH OUT TO BRIANNA ASAP. Communicate your concerns. In a 20-minute phone call, Bri listened, asked questions, and patiently addressed my worries without overpromising or being dismissive. At my preview, I felt like I could freely share what I liked/didn't like about my makeup. When the day of the wedding rolled around, I felt so calm because I knew that we were all in good hands--I had so much fun with her, and I'm endlessly grateful.

The pricing was very clear and straightforward, no hidden fees or up charges. Everything was laid out in the contract so you knew exactly what you were paying for. I have been blessed to have Brianna do my makeup twice: once for a photo shoot and then for my sister's wedding. Her professionalism speaks volumes as she always show up on time, is great at her craft, and always has a smile on her face. Brianna is a joy and a talent! I’ve been honored to have her do my makeup as a bridesmaid twice now. I first heard of Brianna through a report on KTLA about a group of vendors who got together to provide free services for an Orange County couple who had put their wedding on hold in order to pay for their daughter’s cancer treatment. I looked for Brianna on Instagram to see more pictures and I was amazed by her work. Everyone in her pictures looked beautiful and I wondered if I would have that same glow if she ever did my makeup. When I got engaged, I knew I wanted Brianna to do my makeup for the big day. I contacted Brianna and we set up a preview. She was very professional yet so personable. I showed her different looks I liked and she knew exactly what to do. I expressed to her that I don’t ever wear false lashes and that I feel like a clown when I wear too much makeup so during the preview she showed me everything she was doing and constantly asked if I liked it or if I wanted to go darker or more subtle and she also suggested we try the lashes during the preview to see how I liked them. I loved the final look and I was less nervous about the big day because I knew if something went wrong, at least my makeup would look good! On the wedding day, Brianna also did makeup for my sister, my mom, and my best friend. They all looked GORGEOUS and they all loved their makeup! Brianna even gave each of us a touch-up kit for the day. My makeup did not get oily and it stayed put and fresh throughout the entire night (in hot July!). It looks so good in the pictures we’ve received and in our wedding video. One of my favorite parts of my wedding day is when Brianna finished my makeup and she took a final look at every angle of my face- she smiled at me and I could tell she was proud of her work. This made me feel so beautiful! Brianna is a gem inside and out!

Brianna Macias is the best makeup artist I have ever worked with. She is incredibly professional and does such great skin prep that your skin looks flawless. She is worth every penny, and stays on schedule. Everyone in my wedding party was impressed by her skills and made the young and mature look equally beautiful. I've used other makeup artists for other weddings I've been apart of and none were as high quality as Brianna. She knew I had to do my own makeup for an event and gave me some sample products to aid me in doing my own makeup. I will use her again for anything I need my makeup done for and recommend her to anyone else getting their makeup done. She is sweet and thoughtful with her touch up kits and thank you cards. We had a slight mishap on the day of my wedding which was in no way her fault, my venue put her at the wrong ceremony site, but like an absolute professional Brianna got to me and exceeded my expectations. I never even met her before my big day and she had me looking flawless. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel like an absolute queen, so much so that when I finally got to see her work on me I almost cried it off. After experiencing a huge event such as a wedding there are always regrets and wishes about what I could do over. So many vendors remain in this list but Brianna is not one. Her professionalism and passion made a stressful experience much more enjoyable. Her talent speaks for itself but she has the warmest heart that will make all the difference at a time where emotions run high. So I have a great story I would love to share about Brianna and her passion for making people feel beautiful with her gift as a MUA. I got married last year in December 2017. My now husband and I had the big wedding planned for the year prior but unfortunately our daughter who was in remission from her battle with leukemia relapsed and all plans were canceled. We learned about a treatment at the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia which requieres for us to travel from SoCal to Philadelphia every 3 months and the wedding was just not something we could do or think of at the time. Fast forward to a few months later and after spending the entire summer of 2017 in Philadelphia, the treatment in Philadelphia was working and our daughter was in remission again and was feeling great! My husband and I decided it was time to get married as our daughter was feeling great & figured there was no better time than now, except this time we would NOT do the big wedding and maybe just get married at the court house. We called a friend named Jessie, who is a wedding photographer, and asked if she was available to do some photos of us at the court house in the next two months. She said of course! The next day she said I told people about your story, and one of those people was Brianna. She told me that Brianna volunteered to do the makeup for our wedding. As the word spread out.. and after Brianna along with Jessie and other wedding vendors got together, the next thing we knew was that we were having the wedding of our dreams! In the two short months of our wedding planning Brianna went out of her way to reach out and ask what the bridesmaids were looking for and had a schedule ready for everyone.. I did not have to worry about it at all.. she made everything so easy and stress free. The day of the wedding Brianna was so wonderful .. we talked and laughed .. and she made everyone of my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful (including my daughter Eva!) everyone in my wedding loved Brianna! I can’t express enough how great she is and I will never forget what she did for me and our entire party. Just in case some of you are wondering about my daughter she is 1 year cancer free and doing great :)

Thank goodness I found Bri!! I booked her for my last minute engagement photo session and also for my wedding! I also have to note that I did a trial bridal session with her and she really spent the time to get the right look for my wedding. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!! Brianna did my makeup for my wedding in August. Found her through yelp and emailed her for a quote for myself and bridal team. She was less expensive than the other MUA I found around the area. I decided to book her. She made things so easy. Payments were over Venmo, sent me the contract via email, and she was very understanding when the contract needed adjustments for the special day. My make up trial went so smooth and she did a wonderful job! I don't wear makeup and was scared it was going to be too caked on, but she did it perfectly!! Lightweight and beautiful!!!! The day of, she came on time and my whole bridal team and myself were very pleased. I wish I could hire her everyday to do my makeup!!!!! Brianna was absolutely amazing for my wedding makeup! I found her on Yelp and it was the best thing I could have done. Looking for a makeup artist in Orange County was tough, being a woman of color, because some of the artist I encountered didn't have matching shades for my skin tone. Not a problem at all with Bri, she can accommodate any shade. Anyway, she came over promptly to do a bridal preview and I loved my makeup (and that's saying a lot because I typically don't wear any makeup at all!) During the whole preview session, she was so personable, we had a great conversation and she was so helpful since I'm unexperienced with makeup. When I showed my bridal party, parents and then- fiancé my makeup, I got glowing reviews! I knew I had to go with her. Fast-forward to the wedding, Bri checked in with me at various points leading up to the wedding, which I really appreciated because I HATE when vendors ghost you. The wedding day rolled around and again, Bri was punctual and ready to go at our scheduled time, she got my bridesmaids started on their makeup and I wasn't even able to be in the room yet. All 5 of my girls loved their makeup and got such great feedback the entire day, it was amazing. Of course, I too loved my makeup, as did my husband, (who typically hates when I wear makeup). Bri is highly skilled and can do whatever look you want. I wanted a natural look, with just a few pops of color and she delivered perfectly. My makeup stayed unharmed on my face all day because she uses high-quality products. Even after the wedding, Bri has kept in touch and has reached out more than once to follow up, which I think is so nice.
