Amanda was incredibly organized and detail-oriented with every step of the planning and coordination process during our meetings and correspondence leading up to the event. We encountered the typical challenges and nerves that come with planning a wedding during the pandemic, but were thankful for Amanda’s experience and reliability with navigating any anticipated bumps.
Once the actual wedding weekend came, it was an absolutely seamless experience. We were able to enjoy every moment and truly trusted Amanda guiding the behind-the-scenes process with her calming and confident presence. Even during our first Zoom meeting, my mom (the queen of organization) was blown away by Amanda's spreadsheets, containing vendor recs, contact info of the wedding party, mock itinerary for the wedding day, and a details list for decorations.
During the entire process, Amanda was super sweet and responsive, even emailing us back once through her phone while coordinating another wedding!! She was extremely knowledgeable about every wedding topic under the sun, which help assuaged my crazy bride mind.

I am very indecisive and planning a wedding is a million small decisions. Amanda knew exactly when to step in and offer suggestions when I was experiencing decision fatigue with the millionth choice. I fully trusted every decision she made and could not have been happier with the outcomes!
Amanda also has a billion hidden talents that extend beyond normal wedding coordination like taking amazing photos for us on our rehearsal dinner, designing our welcome signage, and the list goes on!
The wedding day itself was smooth sailing and if anything happened behind the scenes, Amanda and her team handled it completely and we didn’t even know about. Seriously cannot say enough positive things about Brick & Belle events.

It was such a relief to have Amanda as a resource throughout the wedding planning process, especially as we live out-of-state. Although Amanda was hired for day-of coordination, she answered questions as soon as she came on board, attended our details meeting with the venue months in advance, and began working with our vendors a few weeks out.
To be honest, I know I'm not capturing the extent of her behind-the-scenes work -- Amanda was that good at sheltering us from the logistics and bureaucracy of wedding planning. For example, several weeks before the wedding, my officiant mentioned how wonderful she was, which was when I realized that she'd already been in close communication with him. Amanda was also INVALUABLE the week of the wedding, when rain was on the forecast for our outdoor reception. She helped us make tough calls (which is helpful when you inevitably get decision fatigue) and pivoted all vendors to a rain plan within 48 hours.
On the day of the wedding, Amanda and her assistant Branda kept us on schedule and were organized. At times, she felt like Mary Poppins: producing the necessary items at the right time, making sure everything was set up, gently keeping us on schedule, and magically storing things away once we were done. We were amazed that, at the end of the night, we could simply leave with the knowledge that everything had been handled.
Finally, Amanda was an incredibly patient, sweet and soothing presence on our wedding day. We are from "particular" families, and she was able to handle it all with grace. Amanda got along with all of our vendors (and it is clear that she is beloved by people in the industry, which is a plus). We loved having her on our team, and we cannot recommend her enough.

through a recommendation, and after interviewing her and a number of other wedding coordinators, she was our easy choice for our month-of coordinator. She is super sweet, has reasonable price packages, and as a client of hers you can borrow items from her inventory like photo frames, cake stands, signs, etc. We took full advantage of what we could in her inventory and saved ourselves time, money, stress, and space. At the beginning of the pandemic, she sent us a handwritten letter and masks letting us know she would be there for us and checked in to see how everything was going. This gesture is just one example of how sweet and thoughtful she is. She helped reschedule with all of vendors when we didn't want to have to deal with another postponement coordination. She was on top of things and organized. A month before the wedding we had our planning meeting where she created the full day-of timeline, and went over every minute with of all the details imaginable to ensure it would run smoothly and with our expectations in mind. When we mentioned that we were planning on making a few of our wedding signs ourselves, she offered to design and print them out for us! During the wedding day, Amanda was everywhere making sure everything was going right as planned. Amanda was continuously jumping back and forth between the bride and groom's room making sure everyone was accounted for, pinning the boutonnieres on the groomsman, keeping everyone on the timeline, helping with any last minute to-dos, and even picking up and delivering us coffee! Amanda then met up with her assistants, Branda and Ayisa, to begin setting up – making sure the cake and other scheduled items were delivered, setting up the welcome table and name tags, and adding the final decoration touches to the sweetheart table. When it came time for the ceremony and after our long photo session, Amanda was with us making sure we were able to sneak in a bathroom break while bringing us water before we began. They then helped in directing guests when it came time to sit down, and then afterwards when it came time to find where the cocktail hour location was. We had a hiccup with an unexpected plus one showing up, but she was able to handle that right away before the reception started. Amanda again checked in with us continuously throughout the entire night, getting us drinks from the bar and carving out time to ensure we got to participate with our caricature and photobooth hires. One common complaint we would always hear from couples is that they didn't get to eat at their own wedding. Not a problem with us! She made sure we had a plate of our own appetizers to enjoy alone in the reception room while our guests mingled. When we greeted our guests during cocktail hour, many of them commented that it was surprising to see the couple actually eating! All thanks to Amanda making sure we enjoyed everything we planned for. Our entire wedding party, from our friends, siblings, and parents were all impressed and raved to us afterwards with how smoothly she took care of things and how amazing she was. If you want your wedding to run as smoothly and stress free as possible, and to actually enjoy your wedding and guests - hire Amanda! It will be the best decision you'll make for your wedding!

ntire day ran smoothly with their help and I am forever grateful. Amanda and her team kept us hydrated; picked up the food we ordered during the getting ready portion; brought me my sandals to change into when my heels decided to give me hell; beautifully arranged all my diy wedding signs, extras, and guestbook; and ensured all my items were returned to my sister at the end of the night. My husband and I had the most stress free time at our wedding and we have Brick and Belle Events to thank for that. We also saved some money from borrowing some of their wedding day ceremony extras— we borrowed easels, photo frames, and candles. I did not work with Brenda directly but Amanda is amazing! ng at our venue (Ebell Club LB) - we wanted someone who knew all the ins & outs of the operations and also just as infatuated with the venue as we were. We were thoroughly blown away by Amanda's professionalism, attention to detail, and just overall gentle, kind, & sweet personality. I typically err on the side of anxious and Amanda really did all that she could to make me feel totally at ease. Everything from offering to pick-up coffee/lunch on the morning of the wedding for my bridesmaids and I as we got ready, to overseeing a flawless rehearsal, to answering all my pesky questions and concerns promptly! One of the HUGE bonuses of working with B&B is getting access to her huge inventory of goodies - we saved SO MUCH MONEY using their items instead of paying for rentals elsewhere. Amanda was SO MUCH more than a day-of coordinator - her planning started as soon as we signed the contract (for us, about 1 year out) and we checked-in with her multiple times in the months leading up to the big day. I could not recommend Brick & Belle enough!!!!

planning our wedding was extra stressful with the constant changes and uncertainty. Amanda was so flexible and easy to work with. She was there for us every step of the way and always checked in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Whenever I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed, Amanda always knew just how to help and knew the right words to say to calm me down and make me feel better. She even helped us troubleshoot some issues we had with another vendor when we were having a really difficult time. Amanda’s experience planning/coordinating weddings and working with vendors was truly amazing and showed throughout the entire time we worked with her. She was not only always on time, but she was early to nearly all of our meetings!
She also has this amazing inventory of items her couples can use for their big day which helped so much with minimizing costs on decorations. It also amazes me how she can figure out just what i’m envisioning for the wedding and give the best suggestions for design :’) I feel like everyone has different style and tastes but Amanda is a one size fits all couples for your wedding needs!!
On the day of the wedding, she came to check on us early and even helped pick up tea and coffee on her way for my bridal party. She was so polite and kind to all of our family and friends. Amanda was even sweet enough to help us taking beautiful pictures throughout the wedding day and share the album with me the next day :) It really helps us to relive those special moments, especially as we wait patiently for our photographer’s photos.

When Amanda and I made that initial consultation phone call, my husband and I immediately fell in love with her already. You can really tell how much she loves her job and how on top of things she is. We knew we didn't have to search much further for another coordinator. We hired Amanda for the Month of service but she is the sweetest person who is willing to help so she was always happy to answer any questions I had. Our original date for the wedding was September 5, 2020, the height of pandemic. Around May 2020, I knew I did not feel comfortable hosting such a big event (350 guests) so I reached out to Amanda regarding postponing. She was so flexible and just so accommodating (with no additional cost to reschedule). Our new date was May 1, 2021. Amanda always checked in asking us how we are doing and even mailed us some masks as gifts! When 2021 started, we were still unsure if we needed to postpone again. Up until the end of February, when our original venue notified us that they were not allowed to host any event. My husband and I saw that the pandemic was getting better and we wanted to keep our date but had to downsize our wedding. We had to go on a hunt for a new venue, basically replanned the entire wedding within 2.5 months. Amanda was seriously so helpful with this whole process. She was there every step of the way and always gave her honest input. Not only that but she knew exactly what I liked/wanted without me having to even say a word. For the wedding, my day started at 4AM, Amanda was the nicest and offered to bring us Philz coffee. Brick and Belle also has an inventory page exclusive for her clients to borrow stuff!! She's a real life angel!! There were some issues with another vendor the day of the wedding but Amanda handled everything so well and I didn't even know about it till after the wedding. Amanda and her assistant Branda seriously does everything in their power to make sure you are stress-free and having the best day of your life. Amanda and Branda did such an AMAZING job with decorating the venue! We got soooo many compliments!! Amanda and Branda and the best duo, they are also best friends and you can really see how well they work with each other. I loved how they actually took the time out to utilize our photo booth because I'm glad I can keep that forever in our memory. Amanda made my dream wedding happen basically in 2 months and without her this wouldn't have been as pretty, amazing, organized, and perfect. She also took some great photos and videos, which helped me captures things I didn't see get to see on that day. Please hire Amanda and Branda, I promise you will no regret it!! Thank goodness she told me about Amanda, because she made everything seem so calm and seamless up until the day of our wedding. We had a lot of anxiety considering we were planning a wedding in a pandemic, on top of all the regular stresses that come with planning a wedding. Amanda was so sweet, kind, and efficient. Every time my husband and I got off the phone with her we felt weight lifted off our shoulders EVERY TIME. ing engaged last October, we hired her in December as our day-of coordinator, and right away she gave us an amazing spreadsheet to fill out with all the necessary day-of information that helped me (a planner) feel really organized. We were looking forward to having her coordinate our day on site, but then COVID hit. We ended up downsizing our wedding, moving the date down, and asking all our out-of-town people just to tune in virtually, which included Amanda (she is in southern California and we are northern). So instead she digitally helped us re-plan our wedding, including creating a socially distanced seating chart at our replacement venue after our original one canceled, making us a new timeline, and offering knowledgeable insider tips (right down to which hand the groomsmen should clasp in front to make the pictures look best). She even sent us masks and a sweet note of encouragement in the mail. She is just the nicest, warmest, most organized person you could ever want by your side for your wedding--especially during the chaos of a pandemic!

ing I was confident I can do everything myself.. until the venue we wanted told us we needed to get a separate wedding planner, I was thinking “ I don’t really need one I’m organized AF” but COVID happened.... and omg! Amanda was sooo good! Organized things I didn’t even think about, took all the precautions for Covid safety, communicated so well with alllll my vendors to make sure everyone was on the right page, she was flexible with all the changes because of Covid, and during all the regular wedding drama on top of Covid drama she was my low key bridesmaid listening to me vent about everything! She reallllly cares about her bride and groom and my parents! My mom even loved her! On the day of the wedding we were running late on the timeline because our church ceremony went over the time, but I just trusted her judgement for the timeline and everything, I trusted her that much! dding during the time of COVID-19, this was no small feat.
Before we even officially hired her, back when the world was normal, she offered to do a walk-through of our venue while she was in town for another wedding and meet with us in person afterwards to discuss it. After meeting with her, we were 100% sold: her mantra is "I'll take care of it." Any question or concern I had about the logistics, she promised she would take care of and I shouldn't worry about. I am not the type of person to easily let go of control; normally when someone tells me they'll take care of something for me, what I immediately think is "Ok, but how can I actually do it myself so it happens the way I want..." This was not the case with Amanda. I trusted her completely, and I did not regret it.
When we realized we needed to cancel our original plans for our wedding and rethink everything to make our day happen during COVID, Amanda was there for us 100%. Again, she promised to take care of every detail I was concerned about. Since we lost many of our vendors, she took on about 10 different roles, including playing caterer (she offered to serve our group of 10 people since we no longer had a caterer and we wanted to avoid every guest serving themselves for the sake of hygiene), florist (we bought flowers and handed them to her, next thing we knew we had floral arrangements on our tables and our cake), designer (again, we handed her our decor, turned around, and suddenly we had beautifully decorated tables with hand-made signs), and even photographer (she took our sunset photos after our photographer left), all on top of her flawless coordination. She handled every situation with grace, and every single one of our guests specifically told us how amazing she was. We didn't even ask her to, but she insisted on getting tested for COVID before coming to make sure we and our guests were as comfortable as possible.
To summarize: HIRE AMANDA! She is caring, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and extremely responsive and communicative. Trust me, hiring her will be the best decision you make for your wedding day.

She made sure my bride and I got our stuff done on a timely manner. She was always professional is every sense of the word and never flustered even when shit hit the fan. ecause as the date neared, I was so exhausted and stressed with planning. Amanda was very friendly and sincere from the start. She wanted to know more about me and my fiancé, our love story, and our vision for our wedding. You know when vendors are just out for your business (money) versus when they really love what they do and want to make this the best day of your life. Amanda seriously LOVES what she does and she does it flawlessly! She will also try to get everything she can for you from your venue if possible! HAHAHAH! LOVED IT! She knew all the right things to ask. I had no idea they had certain offers or options, but after she asked, I got more freebees. That was a plus.
I had my other vendors complimenting Amada for her detailed timeline and punctuality. They were so pleased at how efficient, organized, and easy to work with she was. Everyone was on the same page for my wedding, and this really helped my wedding day go smoothly. Thank you so much Amanda (Brick and Belle). It is crazy how booked you guys got so fast after starting up, but not surprised because of how great of a job you do. I’m serious people! From our initial phone conversation, I knew right away that I wanted Amanda as my planner. She was so sweet, so sincere, but most of all, so passionate about what she does. I honestly felt like such a big weight was lifted when Amanda came into the picture.
When I first met up with Amanda for our first meeting, she was everything I wanted and more! I was highly impressed with how organized and detailed oriented her Google spreadsheets were . She had everything laid out for me to look over and made the whole planning process that much easier. Amanda was so easy to talk to that we ended up chatting away for hours.
As for being hands on, nothing was too big for Amanda to tackle. When I needed help with all my crazy do it yourself projects, she stepped right in and took care of them for me. She did my table numbers, my welcome sign, my seating chart, and even decorated my cake for me! All while having a full time job I might add. There was absolutely nothing Amanda wouldn't do for her clients.
Come day of, Amanda was there from the early morning to bring us all breakfast and to help with anything we needed. Between my fiance and I, we’re fairly organized. As a result, we decided to hire Amanda as our month-of and day-of coordinator. That way, we would have help with taking care of all our last-minute details In retrospect, I wished I'd thought about just hiring her full service because she made things such a breeze for us. I've always heard hiring a coordinator is a gift to your self, and Amanda is PRICELESS.
She took care of all the communication with our vendors, broke down our timeline without a minute to spare, helped with our rehearsal, and made our wedding look and feel beautiful. On the day of, I didn’t need to worry about the décor or running late (in fact, we were about 20 – 30 minutes early) or even packing away items in my car! My only worry was ensuring I didn’t trip in my heels while walking down the aisle. Seriously – I don’t know how, but she managed to handle everything in a blink of eye. The swiftest and fastest coordinator in the game! Amanda’s meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and positive vibes were the best things I could’ve asked for out of a coordinator.

s really overwhelmed with the pricing for all wedding planning services. A really good friend of mine recommended that I reach out to Amanda for assistance with wedding planning. Now, at first I was hesitant because I was trying to stick within my budget and not overspend. Hiring a planner is not cheap, but my thought was, “Well if I am hiring someone to assist with research to help ensure that I stay within my budget and have a great time on my big day, then the service should be worth it.”
So here is my review:
Communication: Since I opted for full planning, this entailed monthly in-person meetings with texts/calls and frequent email updates. Amanda was really quick with responses and did a wonderful job of keeping me and my husband on track with our action items. If she has any planned events or trips, she does a wonderful job of keeping us in the loop of when she may have limited access to emails/calls (prior to her leave/event) which is super helpful!
Trust: When my life got busy, Amanda would jump in and help with picking up décor or go to meeting with my other vendors. She was really good at remembering all details regarding vendor needs and our timeline of things that needed to be done. I put 100% trust in her and I don’t regret it!
Research: At first, I wasn’t sure if I was being too picky with my requests or if Amanda had a very specific vision in mind for the look and feel of my wedding. To say the least, I am not your typical bride who wants all the bells and whistles for my big day. I was striving for personal touches and the best prices possible for vendor services (since my venue was pretty expensive already).
I had worked with Amanda to get exactly what I was looking for in florals. We were able to get the floral arrangements down to half of the average cost through wholesale. I may have been a bit of a challenge for most planners as my standards may be really different than most. I say Amanda was really great at adapting and picking up on her client’s needs. She definitely catered to my preferences and did a good job of keeping things more on the affordable side.
Preparation: Amanda and her team did a lot of the set up for me on the day of. She also offered to do pick-ups and drop-offs for décor, desserts and anything else that I would have needed. There was also a really cute bride kit that she brought with pins, snacks, items for touch ups and anything you may need to fix your outfit.
Day of: I was pleasantly happy with the outcome! Amanda kept my husband and myself on track to the best of her ability. Her team was really great at helping guests navigate through the venue as well as quick with setting up and tearing down.
Would I recommend Amanda and her team?
Yes! Although the cost of hiring a planner may seem steep at first for most, it is totally worth it. The amount of time you save and the assistance you get leading up to your big day is unbelievable. The perk of opting for full-time planning is that your planner gets to know you on more of a personal level. Don’t be afraid to just send her a quick email requesting information on her services, she’d be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Her B&B inventory was a great addition to day of details that I missed or just didn’t want to worry about purchasing! She was kind, sincere and great with communication over text or e-mail. For our rehearsal, she went down to our venue location to scope out a local park that could accommodate our group. During the wedding, she kept the photographer and DJ on track and ensured that we stuck to our day of agenda. From the very first phone call with Amanda, we were able to tell how much passion she has for her work. She was our day of coordinator, but it felt as if she took on more work than what a typical DOC does, she was far beyond typical!

. amanda & her team went above and beyond our wildest expectations. it's so clear that they really LOVE what they do, which makes a huge difference. they are exceptionally willing to go the extra mile - from meeting with us a few weeks before the wedding, to answering all of my control-freak-bride questions leading up to the big day, to attending our rehearsal and helping unload our cars, to taking all of our decorations/supplies and checking through our boxes the night before our wedding, to picking up boba/coffee for us the morning-of, to emcee-ing our grand entrance when our DJ last minute couldn't do so. seriously amazing. amanda & branda masterfully oversaw the event as a whole while still being so detail-oriented, and with 250 guests and different ceremony/reception locations, there were a lot of details to sort out :-) i found brick and belle because a friend had instagrammed after her wedding, "if you want your wedding to be stress-free, hire these girls!!" i couldn't agree more.

e time I met with Amanda, in person or over the phone, I felt so relieved and stress-free. We hired them to help with month-of and day-of coordination for our wedding and from the start, we knew we could trust them to execute our day perfectly.
I was nervous because we had our ceremony at one venue, then had our reception at another venue. We needed someone to ensure that set-up was running smoothly in both places at the same time. In our meetings, we gave Amanda all of our visions and ideas. She carefully listened to us to understand exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond in the execution of it all. She sat with us to create a very detailed timeline and made sure to include all the little personal details that we wanted to add to our day. From there, she took everything off of our hands and handled all communication with our vendors. I was truly able to bask in being the bride. Come the day of, Zach and I had no other duties than to celebrate our love and enjoy each moment of this perfect day.
