Brick & Blossom Weddings and Events is a historic brick structure that features the original pine floors located in Staples, TX. Owners Ronnie and Karlin Clark have spent their time restoring the building over time while doing justice to much of its original splendor. The property’s Baptist church was originally constructed in 1815, when it was known as the Woodlawn Baptist Church. The building was destroyed by fire at one point, and the brickwork that exists today was put in place in 1925. In the intervening years, the charming old church building had fallen into disrepair until Ronnie and Karlin decided to work their magic. They have put their energy into enhancing the property greatly, in order to create a wedding-worthy setting in the process. Ultimately, their vision has always been to create a place where “I-do” occasions and heartwarming events can take place for all manner of clients. In total, the capacity of this venue is for as many as 100 people. Conveniently, ceremonies can easily be held in the chapel at Brick & Blossom Weddings and Events. Traditional-style 12-foot long leaf pine pews provide somewhere for invitees to sit as the magical occasion unfolds. Elegant windows let light in, illuminating the space, to create a bright and welcoming area where new memories can easily be made. An antique fainting couch and chairs are positioned near the head of the room, adding some sophistication and the couple can stand to one side of these as they swap vows and declare their love for one another. There is also ample room for everyone to mix, mingle, and revel in the atmosphere for the reception. Here, tables and chairs can be arranged so that guests can sit, relax, and enjoy culinary delights long into the night. Get-ready rooms are also available for couples to make use of, while a kitchen and ice machine make catering at this venue rather convenient.
