We cannot recommend Bricks & Stones highly enough as a wedding venue! We had our wedding there in June, with many of our guests staying onsite at Camp Aramoni, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation we had.
The venue is absolutely beautiful, with countless opportunities for amazing photos. The food was outstanding (we chose the taco buffet, which was incredible), and every member of the team was genuinely invested in making our day special. Our guests felt exceptionally well cared for throughout the weekend, and the attention to detail was remarkable.
A special thank you to Sam, our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her organization, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference. She helped make every idea we had a reality and put in an incredible amount of effort to bring our vision to life. We are so grateful to the entire team and would wholeheartedly recommend Bricks & Stones to any couple looking for a truly special wedding venue.

Absolutely wonderful venue and staff, we felt like our wedding here was worth every penny and then some. Having Andrea to help with planning was a huge weight off our shoulders day-of, and the outdoor area//reception space is so beautiful it requires far less decor and dress-up than most other venues at this price point - but there's still plenty of room for customization and options, both indoors and outdoors, to make your day unique. The food was exceptional; our guests are still talking about the meal nearly a month later - wayyyy easier than having to track down and hire yet another vendor to coordinate with. If I could leave ten stars, I would in a heartbeat.

Bricks & Stones at Camp Aramoni is a boutique campground and wedding venue awaiting your discovery in Tonica, IL, near the picturesque Starved Rock State Park. This historical site near Chicago was once home to a brickyard that operated from 1870 to 1981. Bricks & Stones was originally used as a blacksmith shop at the brickyard, and it has since been renovated to include modern amenities while also preserving its original architecture. The boutique campground is located nearby and includes 11 safari-style tents with lavish beds, air conditioning, en-suite restrooms, hardwood floors, and personal outdoor decks.
Bricks & Stones is the only wedding venue in the Midwest located on a former brickyard. Upon entering the building, guests are greeted by its rustic industrial charm and grand fireplace. The indoor space includes seating for up to 80 guests in addition to a full-service bar, WiFi, and audiovisual equipment. The Bowers Suite is a private getting-ready space that includes garment racks, comfortable vintage seating, fogged windows for privacy, and an en-suite restroom with a shower.
Bricks & Stones then effortlessly transitions into a large outdoor lawn with a covered pavilion. The space also includes a large deck overlooking the Vermilion River, two ponds, and native Illinois wildflowers. The open lawn features three historical brick kilns and a fountain. An outdoor ceremony set-up is included in the rental fee and on-site parking is available.
Camp Aramoni is also the first and only boutique campground in Illinois. Located along the Vermilion River, the campground offers lavish accommodations in a secluded natural landscape. The site includes 11 safari-style tents with accommodations for up to 50 of your closest friends and family. Nightly rates include breakfast, dinner, firewood, and s'mores. In addition to chef-curated meals and breathtaking views, the campground is enveloped in miles of private hiking trails waiting to be explored. You and your guests may choose to relax in your tent or enjoy on-site activities like yoga classes, guided hikes, picnics in the woods, and nightly communal bonfires.
The tents combine exciting camping experiences with the best of hotel amenities. Designed and styled exclusively for Camp Aramoni in South Africa, each tent is equipped with electricity, heating, cooling, and plumbing. Further amenities include lavish beds, an en-suite restroom, mini fridge, complimentary toiletries, casual indoor seating, your own personal bonfire pit and firewood bundles. Camp Aramoni also offers a honeymoon suite for you and your partner to stay in at a discounted rate.
