Marissa was fabulous to work with for my bridal hair and makeup. We did a trial a few weeks before to ensure they were everything I wanted for the big day. Her work was perfection the day of the wedding including 7 bridesmaids and mother of the bride’s hair. Rhonda, another makeup artist, was also amazing and completed the makeup of 7 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom’s makeup the day of the wedding. They both were so very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Marissa and Rhonda!

rst vendor that I saw on my wedding day and what a great way to start the day! She was kind, professional, personable, and very good at what she does. My hair came out beautifully and held up with very heavy wind gusts. She did a nice job with my makeup and I felt very much like myself. I did a hair and makeup trial about three months prior to the wedding which was a great experience and reassured me that I would be well taken care of for my wedding day. The mothers and bridesmaids all had different hairstyles and they came out great, and they did a great job with my four year old nieces hair! Her communication through email was clear and timely during the hiring and planning process. My venue was about 1.5 hours away, so I did cover travel and lodging fees and I felt that they were reasonable. High quality wedding hair and makeup is an investment, but I felt that her prices were fair and not too far off from other vendors that I had researched, and well worth it!

I had 6 bridesmaids, a flower girl, my mom, mother-in-law and myself getting hair and makeup done. Marissa and her assistant worked hard to get everyone’s hair and makeup done right on schedule. They made sure to have time for touch ups and made sure each girl felt beautiful and were happy with their hair and makeup. Not only that but they were so much fun to have in the bridal suite! he was super chill and had lots of stories and experience to share. I loved the work she did on my trial, and then for the big day it was even better.
She worked super quickly and well for my ladies (we even added an additional lady day of, and Marissa was super flexible and kept us on schedule even with the extra added person!). Everyone's hair was beautiful, and months later I remember the products she uses also smell really good! Highly recommend working with her, she does great work, loves what she does, and is wonderful energy to be around.

On the morning of the wedding, she arrived in plenty of time to make it through all 8 girls (including myself) without anyone ever feeling rushed. Everyone's hair and makeup came out perfectly.
My hair did not fall at all and was even perfect still the next day. I never even had to touch up my makeup throughout the night!

to know myself and my grandmother (who came with me). She also took the time to ask questions about my husband and I’s story and understand our vision for the day. And by the end of the make up trial, I felt like I was in great hands, and was excited to work with her again. She was always extremely kind and professional, and always replied to messages in a timely manner. You can really tell that she cares about each bride she works with. When it came to the wedding day itself, she showed up on time, energized, and made sure to talk with each of my bridesmaids or other relatives, while doing an amazing job on the task at hand. I could not recommend Marissa highly enough, and I know that my bridesmaids and family each commented how much they enjoyed working with her.

The trial was great because we knew exactly what I wanted on wedding day. I thought she did a perfect job at the trial, and she some how did it even better on wedding day! I have thick and wavy hair that is not always easy to tame, but Marissa styled it in an updo that did not budge all night! My makeup also stayed on very well throughout the ceremony and reception. In addition to all of this, Marissa was easy to communicate with over email. This was important to me because I was planning a wedding out of state. I would highly recommend her!

Marisa did my hair and makeup, as well as my bridal party and mother and grandmothers, for my wedding this past June, along with the help of one of her associates, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better!
I met with Marisa 6 months before my wedding to have a trial run of both my hair and makeup, and booked her on the spot. A few weeks before the wedding she got in touch with me to go over the schedule and planned out everyone's time frames and even left time for touchups at the end. Sure enough, day of the wedding, her and her helper were right on time, full of energy, and followed their schedule wonderfully.
All of my bridesmaids as well as my mother and grandmother were in love with their hair and makeup, as well as myself. Even with an outside venue and crazy wind throughout the ceremony, all of our hair and makeup held remarkably well all throughout the night!! My hair is incredibly thin and she somehow managed to make the curls stay in tact all night long, which no one has ever been able to do before!
I cannot recommend Marisa more, and I can only hope that I have to get all dressed up and fancy for another occasion so that I can have her work her magic again!

I used traditional makeup for my trial (which I then wore to my bridal shower) and airbrush for my wedding day -- both looks were gorgeous, and I was so pleased with how natural the airbrush looked (I was a bit skeptical before trying it!) Marissa also has a wonderful personality. She's down to earth, funny, and fun to be around. I felt so confident in her abilities and knew I would look and feel my best on my wedding day.
