I also felt like Christine was inexperienced with almond, hooded eyes and hid instead of enhanced my ethnic features, which, I get it- makeup artists are trained to make eyes big and round, but I wanted my features enhanced, not altered.

y nervous throughout the wedding planning process and knew I’d be a ball of nerves the day of, so it was very important to me to find a HMA that was a good fit. From our first phone call, I knew Christine would be the hype woman I needed. She was fun, sweet, professional, and did amazing hair and makeup. She was helpful and available leading up to the wedding and accommodated last minute changes as needed. All my bridesmaids loved her and multiple said she did the best makeup they’ve had for a wedding. All our makeup lasted all night and I felt absolutely beautiful. My hair was gorgeous, it came out a little, but that was my own fault for dancing so much! Overall, amazing experience, I would recommend Christine and her team to anyone!

She is so talented and always exceeds my expectations for everything. She makes everything fun and made me feel at ease when I was feeling overwhelmed with everything. I did a trial beforehand and it was so helpful. Christine fosters an open communication where you can be honest. I didn’t like the coloring at the trial and I told her and we were able to pivot to something that felt more me. And Christine was totally happy to do it because she wants to make you feel the most confident and beautiful you have ever been and she definitely accomplishes that! She really listens to her clients wants and needs and enhances their beauty. She’s a wonderful to work with and is such an infectiously fun person to be around. The makeup and hair for my wedding lasted all night through dancing to Disney songs with my besties, to smooching my husband! Christine works so hard and all of her hard work does not go unnoticed in all the talent she has!

bout 2 hours of sleep the night before with makeup and something that reduced the puffiness around my eyes! I paid extra to have her stay a few hours, and am so glad I did. It was humid and misty, so right after the outdoor ceremony she touched up my hair and makeup so I looked as good as new for the indoor reception. I've continued to go back to Christine for haircuts. I don't think I was ever satisfied with my cuts until I started having her do them. Christine's personality sets her apart. The events that led to me getting 2 hours of sleep the night before my wedding could have left me in tears. But Christine is so warm, upbeat (not in a fake way, but by being her true, authentic self), and kind, that I was laughing the whole time. She's so good for the soul!

She listened to what I wanted rather than assuming anything and the result was exactly what I wanted. She also came to my house to fix me up so that I didn't have to be driving around on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend her!

g wedding in NOLA in October 2021. Christine was so flexible and understanding. She did hair and makeup for the bride, 5 bridesmaids, mother and grandmother of groom, mother, grandmother and aunt of bride for the September wedding. Everyone looked like celebrities! Then, Christine did it all over again in October of 2021, and again everyone looked like they could be on a runway! I would recommend hiring Christine for any occasion. She is reliable, understanding, flexible, reasonably priced, and amazingly talented!

I could tell immediately during my makeup trial that I wanted to work with Christine Fitzpatrick because she asked very pertinent questions regarding my wedding vision, my personal style, my background/personality, and my history with my bridesmaids and best friends. She was professional and extremely friendly and down to earth. She has an expert touch with makeup and I looked so glamorous and elegant on my wedding day. My makeup went perfectly with my custom bridal gown. I also got married on a very humid 95 degree day in Michigan and my makeup stayed flawless all day, even with outdoor pictures. My skin was never shiny. Almost all of my bridesmaids got married this summer as well and they said the makeup was the best they had. Additionally, I was able to be so relaxed on my wedding day as Christine arrived promptly that morning to set up. She was extremely professional and just fun to be around the morning of my wedding. She got along very well with all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and the other professionals that were there that morning helping us get ready. She made sure to do makeup touch ups for my videographer and photographer which was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend Christine Fitzpatrick. She helped my wedding vision come to life.
