itted a wishlist detailing my dress/designer preferences as directed on the store’s website. Laurena used my wishlist to hand-pick a rack full of gowns that fit my wedding vision before I had even stepped foot into the store. Seeing that display when I entered my first appointment immediately put any dress-shopping nerves I had at ease, and from that moment forward, Laurena never failed to make me feel seen and heard. She patiently listened to any feedback I had on gowns that I tried but weren’t quite the right fit, and she did a fantastic job of pulling new dresses based on my thoughts and suggestions. Throughout the entire process, I never felt as though she was being disingenuous to make a sale. Unlike some bridal consultants I had worked with at other stores, Laurena never said anything to try to convince me a dress I liked — but didn’t love — was “the one.” Rather, she let each dress speak for itself until I found the one that made me feel all the giddy butterflies I had hoped to feel when wearing my wedding gown. She remained kind and ever patient with me until I had that moment (even when it took a couple appointments to get there!), so dress-shopping with her truly felt like shopping with a good friend instead of a salesperson. So, to all brides-to-be out there: I cannot recommend Laurena and Bridal Beginning enough! 10/10, 5 stars, 100% on rotten tomatoes… whatever maximum recommendation score I can give them, I will happily endorse!

k I tried about 13 dresses in total but one stuck and I was in it for the rest of the appointment. She didn’t make me feel rushed, just the opposite actually! I was allowed to go into the show room a few times to see the dress in natural lighting and really get a feel for the dress. Every salon has beautiful dresses, but not every salon has a Marisa! I see many great reviews but I wonder if any of the reviewers had an issue that Lisa the manager had to deal with? I purchased a dress over 5k and when the seamstress went to start pinning, she noticed several stains on the lining of the dress....
I called Lisa and they offered to try and clean it, but the seamstress felt it would make the stains worse. I told Lisa that and would rather they took a percentage off of the dress. Lisa became very indignant and rude and basically told me that we made the stain. She went on about how they go over everything and I’m telling you, they did not. When I picked up the dress they had it hanging and it did not occur to me to look underneath- so I didn’t, but they should have. I have worked with other bridal shops and Lisa is a rude person who should not be in customer service. Honestly, for the price of these dresses, she should have been more kind and supportive. Even my seamstress was taken back by how we were treated. It only takes one time, but I will never go back to Bridal beginnings and I will also never endorse them- terrible place. Go to Sorelle Bridal salon they are much more accommodating.

I really struggled with the decision of choosing a wedding dress, but Marisa and the Bridal Beginning team were kind and patient talking through my uncertainty. The number of gowns that they have is overwhelming, but it also means that if there is something small about one gown that isn't quite right, there is likely a better fit right down the rack. The team there is also very familiar with the many designers they carry and are knowledgable about where alterations, adjustments, and customizations can be made. They helped me navigate different silhouettes efficiently and narrow down to my 3 favorite dresses. They both made me feel beautiful and stunning in every dress. Additionally when I returned a few days later I worked with the one manager to order my dress and she was just as friendly and wonderful. I liked and suggesting dresses I would never have seen if not for her expertise. She was extremely professional but also very easygoing and sweet; my mom and sisters felt very welcome and were excited to see all her choices. I tried on lots of different gowns and didn't feel rushed; the appointment was the perfect amount of time. Kristen found a dress with all of the elements I had been hoping for and it was actually the first gown she offered me to try on. Never felt more beautiful :) In the end I went with the first dress and am amazed how many times I keep going back to look at the pictures while I wait for it to arrive. As I worried about the price another worker chimed in saying that dress would not be there after that day for me to try on again. Not happy with any other gown now I end up getting the dress. Fast forward to when it comes in someone calls to let me know and let’s me schedule an appointment to try it on. The day before my appointment I get a reminder call then hit with *your balance is due in full* which was not mentioned on the previous call. I said oh I didn’t realize and the woman was so rude with me asking when I could pay. Looking back at my contract it did say payment was due when the dress came in. However the woman on the phone did not need to be so rude about it. It was 6 mos ago I bought my double budget dress and paid 60% of it already. I understand it needed paid for but as a customer and this being “one of the happiest purchases of my life” they made not happy. My experience here with the workers was UNPROFESSIONAL and DISAPPOINTING.

I walked in based on the pre-interview survey. Advice to all brides, take the survey seriously! You can tell them your favorite designers and why. You can also provide up to 10 dress styles from designers they carry. I was able to try on some from my wishlist and Sara was able to pull some other amazing dresses for me to try on based on those selections. Definitely select dresses that have different things you like, not just variations of the same dress. This helped her get to know me and what I liked from the get-go.
