I heard great things about Bridal Beginning from my friends who got their dresses there, and I was not disappointed! Marisa understood my vision almost immediately, and the third dress I tried on ended up being 'the one.' She worked extremely efficiently to make sure I got the most out of my appointment and still had the opportunity to try on other dresses. The selection of beautiful dresses there was a little overwhelming, but Marisa made it feel manageable. It was a great experience!

I can’t say enough amazing things about my experience at Bridal Beginning! Marissa was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She made me feel so comfortable, really listened to what I wanted, and somehow found the dress that felt like it was made just for me. Everything about Bridal Beginning was amazing! Marisa was a godsend, I felt like I was starting to get overwhelmed and confused with opinions on what I liked/wanted. She had a heartfelt moment with me reminding me it was all about me and what I wanted, from there I was way more confident expressing my feelings! I found the most perfect dress that day ! All the other ladies from the front desk to answering the phones when calling were all wonderful as well, couldn’t recommend them more !

Felt very very rushed when picking my wedding dress. Ended up not liking my dress at all but since I paid for it I wore it. The zipper to my dress was broken when I tried it on at the store, they then had to get me a new one and a week later the zipper broke again. This dress was very big on me so that wasn’t the issue.

My experience at Bridal Beginning, and especially with my consultant, Laurena, was AMAZING! They have the largest selection of dresses in the greater Pittsburgh area, so it was the perfect place to start (and finish!) my wedding dress search. I came in not entirely sure what I wanted, and Laurena couldn’t have been more helpful in pulling different styles and narrowing down what I liked. Throughout the appointment, she made me feel comfortable, at ease, and beautiful. She made the whole process fun — and she ultimately picked the dress that became my wedding gown! I found my dream dress at Bridal Beginnings and had the absolute best experience! Lindsey, my stylist, was so incredibly attentive. She listened to my vision and made it a reality! I can’t rave enough about this shop and my consultant Sara! She came prepared with dresses I had on my wishlist and pulled stuff I would have never tried on myself so I was sure I was making the right choice. They were able to schedule me quickly, they had a wide range of sample sizes so I felt comfortable, and they took their time through every step. I can’t wait to get my dress and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dress in the area.

I like to tell people that Bridal Beginning is the Kleinfeld of PA, however BB has the small business touch making sure you feel like you are the only customer they are taking care of. BB curates your selection to styles you would like off of a wish list you create. During your appointment as well they see if you would like to try anything else + how you feel. During my appointment I did not feel pressured whatsoever, however when I did decide they went through every detail I would need to know.

Bridal Beginning was everything I hoped dress shopping would be and more. Out of the four salons I visited, it was the only one that truly felt like what I always pictured as a little girl. From the moment my mom and I walked in, we felt comfortable, welcomed, and supported.
Sara was absolutely incredible—12/10! She really listened to what I wanted, never pushed me in a direction that didn’t feel right, and even took the time to study my Pinterest board so she could immediately pick up on my style. Every gown she pulled was beautiful, and she helped me completely curate my look by suggesting details I may not have thought of on my own.
When I had a question about a possible alteration, she didn’t guess—she brought out their seamstress to explain everything and ease my mind (another 12/10 moment). That level of care and attention made all the difference.
Overall, my experience was a 20/10. It was everything I dreamed of and more, and I couldn’t recommend Bridal Beginning enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Bridal Beginning— if you are looking for a place with an incredible selection of gowns and extremely knowledgeable consultants you HAVE to go to Bridal Beginning!
I was very nervous to look for my wedding dress because when looking online, nothing stuck out to me. I was worried I would not find a dress that I truly loved.
However, at my first appointment I was paired with Marisa and Grace and they were AMAZING! From the very first dress I tried on I felt so comfortable with them. They were really helpful because as the appointment went on, they could see what styles and designers I was leaning toward and pulled the appropriate dresses for me. If I would try on a dress and I was unsure, Marisa would look at me and say “is this a pretty dress or is this your wedding dress?” This stuck with me because it really helped me hone in on what I liked and what I didn’t like and the look that I was going for, which was very helpful for an an indecisive person like me. With each dress I felt like I was getting closer and closer to finding the one— not further away. I also appreciated that there was zero pressure to love every dress that they put me in. If I didn’t like a dress, Marisa would just say “no hard feelings, I’m not the designer! On to the next one!” This made me feel really comfortable because I didn’t feel like I needed to appease my bridal consultants or feel like I was hurting their feelings by not liking things they had pulled for me. This is something I struggled with at other bridal salons. Once I decided on a dress, Marisa was very thorough about explaining the measurements and sizing of that certain designer, the contract and the specific terms of the contract. She also gave me a list of local tailors to use for my fittings, in addition to the information for their in-house tailor. I highly recommend Bridal Beginning for a stress-free and enjoyable buying experience and especially Marisa and Grace! ☺️

I had a truly exceptional experience working with Laurena at Bridal Beginnings. I was worried that the appointment would be too structured but she immediately made me feel comfortable and really understood exactly what I was looking for. She was incredibly transparent with pricing while guiding me through dresses she had pulled, which made the appointment efficient without feeling rushed. I had such a wonderful experience at Bridal Beginning, and I can’t say enough great things about Lindsey, who helped me find my wedding dress. Going in, I truly had no idea what I wanted—which can be pretty overwhelming—but Lindsey made the entire process feel comfortable and even fun.
She was so encouraging, supportive, and easy to work with. What really stood out was how intuitive she was; she picked up on my body language and subtle reactions to different styles and was able to guide me toward dresses that suited not only my taste, but also how I wanted to feel on my wedding day.

I cannot overstate how great my experience at Bridal Beginning was! I worked with Laurena and she was wonderful. I was definitely a difficult customer! I drove 2 hours from Akron because I saw online they had a dress I wanted to try. I'd tried on 30+ dresses and with a short timeline and tight budget, the pressure/anxiety was high. Long story short, I loved the dress immediately, got in my own head, then ended up crying and panicking. I asked to have the room alone and called my fiancé for support and talked to him for a while. They NEVER made me feel rushed or like I was being ridiculous or silly (even though I was). They gave me time and space when I needed it and support with accessories when I needed that. To add to it, my dress and my budget were significantly less than their typical dresses/clients and they worked within my budget easily and I never felt like I was being treated differently from higher-paying clients. As an anxious bride who's been made to feel rushed in the past, Laurena made me feel so welcome and cared for. I just picked up my dress yesterday and it fits like a glove! Her measurements were perfect and I'm so happy with my experience!

The appointment to finding my dress was so great! The stylist I was with made me feel comfortable and helped me find the best dress! When trying it on once it got delivered, the one manager when it didn’t fit, berated me with questions as to why I gained weight. I have type 1 diabetes and my weight fluctuates so when hearing that, it made me not even want to go back

Bridal Beginning was an absolute dream from start to finish! I walked in with no idea what style of wedding dress I wanted and was feeling a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities. However, from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease and genuinely excited about the whole experience.
The dress selection is incredible. There were so many stunning styles and designers to try on. I came in with a small wishlist, but what really stood out was how thoughtful and intuitive the team was in pulling other options for me to explore. They truly helped me discover my bridal style, even when I wasn’t sure what that was myself.
Laurena and Shae were my stylists, and they were immaculate! Truly the dream team. They were fun, supportive, and incredibly sharp when it came to styling - nailing my vision with my “a little more of this, a little less of that” comments. They made the entire process feel effortless and fun!
And when I walked out in THE dress… full-on tears. I’m not someone who cries easily or often, but in that moment... I just knew. Surreal, emotional, and completely unforgettable.
Bridal Beginning gave me everything I hoped for in a dress shopping experience and then some. If you’re a bride-to-be looking for a team who will make you feel seen, supported, and genuinely excited about the process, this IS the place.

I had the best experience at Bridal Beginning with Lindsey! She made me feel so comfortable and like we were friends by the end of my appointment. We started with styles from my wishlist, but she encouraged me to try on all styles just to rule things in and out until we found the perfect dress! She really listened to what I was feeling and thinking throughout the appointment. She told me I was the first person to ever try on my dress and it fit like a glove, she even nicknamed it after me lol. I just loved her and my whole experience there!! My experience with Marisa at Bridal Beginning was nothing short of perfect. Not only did she come extremely prepared - having plenty of dresses that were my style picked out ahead of time for the appointment-- But she also went and grabbed more during the appointment based on my certain likes/dislikes of features I was looking for. She was attentive, affirmative and really just provided overall great customer service. I left feeling GORGEOUS and so excited for my dress to come in. Marisa was very hands on and attentive to my wants in a gown. She helped me into each gown, fluffing and making sure it was laying perfect. I work in retail so I value customer centric places that take their customers into consideration and don't just try to push a dress on you to make a sale. It's all about the connection for me, which Marisa provided throughout the whole appointment. I felt like we were BFFs and had known each other a long time. I didn't feel pressured at all during my time to leave with a dress or love any that I tried on and didn't like on my body type. This is what great customer service is all about & Marisa provided just that. If you're getting married and need a gown - HIGHLY recommend Marisa and Bridal Beginning!!

I went in not truly knowing what to expect or what I wanted. It was such a calming, stress free, and fun experience. I can’t recommend this store enough! Marisa brought back dress after dress and truly listened to what I liked and didn’t like about each piece. We felt like she was building the perfect dress because every time she walked back to get more she would have one that had everything I liked about the prior dresses all in one. She was helpful and respective will my budget which was also a huge additive.

Bridal beginning has a huge selection of gowns and designers to choose from. After ordering my dress in ivory I decided I had liked the blush better. It was weighing on me. Bridal beginning & the designer let me return the dress and sent me one in the blush! Without any hesitation they figured it out for me. Bridal beginning was SO accommodating, and the staff is wonderful to work with. Couldn't recommend this bridal store more when finding your dream gown.

Lindsey at Bridal Beginning was wonderful helping me find my dress. I went in not having a clue of the kind of dress I wanted. She helped me pick the perfect dress and I ended up cancelling the other appointment I had at another salon. They were very accommodating letting me come back later in the day with more of my bridal party so that everyone could see the dress as I said Yes to the dress!

Huge selection! I did find my dress and my consultant, Lindsey was amazing! However, I took one star off because I felt like the management was not super supportive of Lindsey. I had no idea of what type of dress I wanted. I tried on over 20. Poor Lindsay was running out of ideas (not her fault at all, she had only been working there for less than 2 months) and when she asked for help, I could see the irritation from the manager (I was the last appointment of the day and it seemed she wanted to get out of there) and she basically scolded Lindsey in front of me for pulling a dress that she didn't think she should have pulled. My heart felt for her. In the end, Lindsey did help me find the perfect dress and I am very happy, but as a girl's girl, I feel like I need to shine some light on the lack of support that Lindsey was given during the process.

I had such an amazing experience at Bridal Beginning! It was my second dress store of the day and I was a little anxious after the first as I didn’t find anything I really liked. Well Bridal Beginning changed that for me! Marisa helped me that day and she was nothing but AMAZING! She was full of energy and was so good at listening to what I was looking for! She helped me try on multiple dresses and listened to my likes and dislikes of the dresses. With that, she was able to find my dream dress!! I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on!! And then even more so when she took me out into the front room to see the sparkles in the natural light! It was perfect! My sister, mom, and mother in law accompanied me, we had such an amazing time that my sister later came back to find her dream dress with Marisa as well!!

I had an amazing experience finding my wedding dress, and I can’t thank Sara and Alaina enough for making it so special! My mom was able to join me for my first visit, and they were so kind and attentive to her as well, really listening to her thoughts and making her feel included. After that, I was shopping solo, and they made sure I felt comfortable and celebrated every time I came in. They listened to what I wanted, showed me dresses within my budget, and were incredibly clear when I wanted to try something outside my price range – I truly appreciated their honesty. The selection of dresses was amazing, and they really helped me discover my style and find the perfect dress. If you have the ability to request who you work with, I highly recommend Shae. She went above and beyond. She is incredibly kind, patient, attentive, smart and genuine. She listens to your feedback about what you like and don't like about the dress and then selects dresses with that information in mind. She ended up picking a dress that I didn't even consider trying and ended up loving it. She makes you feel comfortable and gives you honest feedback. We had a great experience at Bridal Beginnings. We started shopping there and then visited a number of other salons before returning and purchasing my wedding dress. They have a wonderful selection of gowns and they were extremely good at keying into my style and what was flattering to my body. I especially appreciated that they never tried to pressure me to make a decision or buy a higher price dress! They stored it for me until it was time for alterations and had everything perfectly ready at pick up! I highly recommend making this one of your stops when shopping for your special day!
