work was great, I didn’t hire her for my wedding at the time and expressed my concern over her ability to commit to clients. I decided to give her a third chance and booked her a month in advance for my sister’s wedding. Shame on me! After continuous efforts to contact her for studio location and to confirm appointment, she emailed me back two days before my event to cancel because she scheduled another wedding. Lesson learned!

her numerous times there would be 3 people the day of to ensure my big bridal party be done in a timely fashion. Well the day of, I was extremely disappointed, especially in Kira's attitude. First things first, she showed up herself, one other stylist and (while very sweet) an assistant that would be "working with her" that looked like she just learned how to use a curling iron. Yes, there was three girls, but not three girls working on my bridal party. The assistant "started" Kira's girls but had to be walked through things by Kira the whole time. This distracted her and took time away from who she was actually working on. I know everyone needs to learn, but an extremely high stress environment during someones special day is not the time. Secondly, my maid of honors and mother were set to get their hair done with her as she is the "main stylist". We were contracted this and even were told that they were charged more due to working with the main stylist. Well, Kira tried to throw one of my Maid of Honors with the second stylist. When I spoke up, she said she does beautiful work with an extreme attitude. I said I'm sure she does, but that is not the point, they were contracted and charged to work with you. She huffed, rolled her eyes and nastily told my maid of honor okay sit here. The "assistant" then did her hair basically. Through the rest of the morning, whenever someone wanted her to change a part of their hair, even something as small as taking a piece out in the front, she said she didn't have the time. One girl even asked her to fix something, she told her I'll get back to you, and then just left. She was rushing the rest of the morning (which could have been avoided had we had the 3rd contracted stylist) and then packed up and left without a word to anyone, leaving the other stylist there. I turned around one minute and Kira was gone. I have to say, anyone who worked with the other stylist loved their hair! A small amount of people definitely were happy with the outcomes, but my honest recommendation, use someone else! Professionalism and customer service should be number one, especially on someones special day! My least favorite vendor to work with.

ces are rendered!! I think that’s how she got away with ruining my cousin’s wedding. Let me break down the day for you. First of all, she showed up almost an hour late with no sense of urgency or any apologies. She was down a stylist and we had 10 girls waiting to get their hair and makeup done. At first it was all good, but then time was ticking and makeup was taking a really long time. ..7 girls were still waiting to get glammed and everyone was taking their sweet time. Again, no sense of urgency. Kira simply took care of the bride and was too concerned with taking the best Instagram picture and video for her page, instead of helping the other stylists to get the bridal party ready. It was awful. Kira kept saying it’s okay, we’ll be ready on time but she did nothing, NOTHING to speed the process along. At one point, the bride was “baking” and Kira was standing around on her phone, when she could’ve started another bridesmaids makeup. We ended up missing the first look pictures, and we ran about an hour late for the ceremony. On top of everything else, Kira left before the last bridesmaid’s makeup was done and left a complete mess in the house. Makeup wipes, tissues, stains everywhere. This lady is a crook and a liar, just like most of these 5 star reviews on this page.

people-pleasing person, and it is truly difficult to upset me in any lasting way. That being said, I have never hated anyone more than than this god forsaken "company." From start to finish, everything about working with Bridal Butterflies has been a nightmare. I say this with absolutely honesty, I wish I could have booked Joseph Stalin because Holodomor would have been a more enjoyable experience than booking Bridal Butterflies for my wedding day. I wish nothing but terrible things upon them, and hope to god that they hit every red light in traffic for all of eternity. If I came across a lock of their hair, I would have an old witch curse them with uncontrollable genital herpes and financial troubles for generations to come. I could go into detail about the terrible series of events that have happened since booking this place (lack of communication, them blocking my number, being over an hour and a half late on my wedding day and blaming me for a wrong address despite me checking the contract and confirming the address was correct, them sending a 23 year old artist not the one I thought I was booking, their ridiculous lack of communication, their claims that these reviews are "one person with a vendetta against them," them raising their prices after booking despite me sending screenshots of their website pricing, their refusal to refund me after a terrible customer experience, their refusal to talk to me on the phone when I had concerns, the list goes on...), but instead I will just say glance over the other 1-star reviews and realize that the five star reviews are all written by BB's friends and family. Run as far away from this business as you can, and don't be fooled by their instagram. This has truly been the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had in my life.

t I was being too harsh and here I am again, still stuck on my experience. Leading up to my big day she didn’t really return my or my coordinators calls to make sure we had a solid schedule in place. She did call me back about a week before to give me just general details but didn’t produce any schedule for either of us. Okay fine - I trusted she would manage the time well. But basically on the day of, she showed up right on time at 8:00 am and got to work which was great. I had to be ready by 1:30 PM to start taking photos. Somehow, and it may not have been her fault, we got decently behind and I started to get pretty anxious and basically this is where the wheels fell off. She finished up with me and I had to immediately sit down with my videographer to do a 20 min interview. I came back and wanted her to fix my headpiece which was drooping, fix the shape of the front, put my veil in and spray me with some more hairspray. And SHE. WAS. GONE. No idea where she went, but she never told me she was leaving, didn’t even leave me a bobby pin to put my veil in!! BTW - I had hired her for a reception touch up ($250)! So, my coordinators called her (still really unsure where she went) and she came back to pin my veil in, basically threw some bobby pins at me and left again. I was appalled, as were the entire rest of my vendors. If you look in my photos I have bobby pins sticking out of my veil and my headpiece (which was over $600). So, when it came time to get her back for my reception touch up she told me coordinator that I had already used it when she came back to put my veil in!! Yet again - APPALLED! At that point, I didn’t even want her to come back (neither did any of the vendors either) and I just hoped for the best. Lo and behold I get my photos back and my hair looks pretty gnarly. It immediately fell, and just looked like a giant rats nest. My headpiece is half covered, it’s frizzy, the front fell - just a mess. I think maybe it could have been avoided if she had just stayed for the service I had already paid (and tipped) her for! BTW - beware of what you see on her IG. After complaining she did refund me the $250 for the touch up, which I did appreciate. But she took all the photos from my photographer and videographer (which I paid for nonetheless) where my hair looked decent and posted them all. I’d love for her to post my hair around 6:30 that night because it was awful. My theory is that a lot of the work that is on her IG isn’t actually hers. Just pay attention to the difference in photos because she doesn’t claim it’s her work, but she also doesn’t say it’s not, so it’s misleading. She also claims to have worked with some top artist whose perfect the glam wave and use his method, Im not sure I buy it based on her skill. I just feel that she took full advantage of me on my big day. I was a bit overwhelmed and a little spacey and she was able to prey on that. She also would have never refunded me, had I not asked, when she knew full and well she never delivered that service. Overall, wouldn’t recommend. She’s not cheap, (I paid her prob $2,000+ for 7 people and hair trials and extensions), had an attitude problem that day and her work is really not that great. It’s unfortunate because I thought every other aspect was perfect except for my hair, which is very important to a bride.

After I complained that she told me that she would advise me if she got booked up for another wedding prior to me making payments because at that point I would have booked with someone else we came to an agreement and she agreed to stay a LITTLE later. She never apologized or anything and at that point I was not going to look for someone new a MONTH before my wedding. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. THE WEDDING DAY WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER. I texted her the day before the wedding with a picture of my hair and asked her to bring a few different extensions as I had recently gotten highlights and wanted them to match. She responded and said okay. On the day of as we are all getting ready she asks me where my hair extensions are. I tell her that she was supposed to bring them for me and my bridal party as was agreed over texts, emails and during my TWO TRIALS. She then says that she had a "shipment" issue and that's why she doesn't have them. She TELLS NOT ASKS my maids of honor to go shopping for extensions and doesn't even help in finding a place. On my wedding day, we were all panicking googling, and calling friends to find out where to go because we didn't have a lot of time. Basically, instead of relaxing and enjoying the day my 2 maids of honor had no choice but to go in search of hair extensions which took 2 hours! They got extensions and she wanted them to keep looking because they were not the 22 in she was planning on bringing. Are you kidding??? This was her mistake and she should have figured out how to fix it on her own and the very least apologize! Right after this she asks me to sit down so she can start my eye make up! I never did a makeup trial w her and had two different makeup artists in the next room doing makeup on all the girls! SHE WAS LOST! Long story short I had to spend $500 for hair extensions, I was super late for all of my pictures because I was the LAST one to do my hair and didn't get many of the pictures I wanted or get to enjoy my day the day I should have ALL BECAUSE OF KIRA. I emailed her 3 TIMES telling her how upset I was and I thought it would only be fair for her to reimburse me for my hair and pay for my hair extensions after the huge mess she created and she is not answering any of my emails! So Kira, please answer to this post and explain to all of the other brides how you can mess up one of the only jobs you had and how to this day I have not even gotten an apology for the inconvenience and chaos you caused! Please also explain why you haven't returned any of my emails or are doing the right thing by reimbursing me any of the money I paid you after you did not hold up your end of the deal! You are so immature and unprofessional and ladies, this is a big day! Her instagram might look cool but she is extremely unprofessional and unorganized! No wonder she needs the full payment and only through Venmo or chase pay! She collects the money and could care less about her customers! You could have a successful business but you can't go far with that poor attitude and costumer service and that is very unfortunate!
