Bridal By Vanity

Overall, I liked my experience with Vanity! On the day of, my girls and I had the pleasure of working with Destini, Hannah and Leslie who were all fantastic and so cute! They arrived early and were ready to go right at start time. We had hair and makeup services for 11 people total and we even finished ahead of schedule because our artists were so quick and efficient - everyone looked so natural and beautiful! Despite a misty wedding day all of our hair and makeup stayed in tact every step of the way and we got lots of compliments on our natural soft glam. Hannah, Leslie and Destini all nailed it! The main reason I sadly could not give a 5 is because the original person that did my HAMU trial was NOT present on my actual wedding day and I did NOT have any prior knowledge that she would not be there. As the bride that added major stress to my day as I essentially had to start over with someone I never met and wing it. This absolutely should have been communicated with me ahead of time, I get things happen but at least have open communication about it. Luckily Hannah and Leslie were on point with helped me with exactly what I wanted and I ended up loving my overall look, but it was very stressful! From my experience, the business aspect of things could be improved and there could be better communication throughout the process. When originally booking I was presented with a PDF pricing of services but the costs ended up being higher on my final invoice, assuming they must have increased during my booking period at some point but I was not made aware (which they were similar, but higher). I also would have appreciated an itemized breakdown on my invoice preemptively just to better understand the total cost since it was just a flat number with no context. I did end up asking for one, which is how I discovered the price increase on my own. There were a few times the day of my wedding where we had miscommunications about what services we booked and it felt as though the artists did not have much prior prepping from their team member (although the artists were happy to do everything needed but I felt bad for them!). The communications I did have were nice, but I would suggest more organization and attention to detail as it would be a nice touch and less for the bride to manage/figure out. I'm appreciative to my three artists for helping us feel our best for such an important day and hope this review can help everyone in the future, Vanity + Brides both.

Marina and her team were absolutely phenomenal! I have a skin condition and from the very beginning of my wedding planning journey, I was having anxiety about having a breakout on the day of my wedding. Marina was so incredibly patient and kind. She really worked with me to find products that would not irritate my skin. On the day of my wedding she created the most gorgeous hair and makeup style I've ever seen. She also created beautiful looks for my bridal party (including my husband who has longer hair). I highly recommend her services!

I had an amazing experience with Bridal by Vanity! Everyone had specific needs for different skin types and hair types and they were sure to make us all look and feel our best. The hair held up even after dancing all night!

I could not recommend Bridal by Vanity enough for your wedding hair and make up needs! Marina's incredibly kind and calm demeanor made all of my bridesmaids feel comfortable. She truly listened to everyone's desires for their hair and make up needs. My girls felt beautiful, elegant, and ready for the day. As the bride, I knew Marina would do an amazing job on my hair but she far surpassed my expectations. Hair and makeup can be a big stressor for me, and I couldn't get over how beautiful I felt. I wanted a unique style and it fit my personality perfectly. In addition, I am already a makeup guru, so for my wedding I wanted it extra special and glamorous. It was everything I wanted and more (in the best way). I look back at the pictures often and am so thankful she was able to create the look of my dreams. You can for sure count on Bridal by Vanity to ease your wedding morning stress and make you feel more than beautiful on your special day.
