Esther (owner) & Laura (seamstress) are the absolute best. From the moment we stepped foot into the shop Esther made us feel very comfortable. She was very flexible with appointments, patient with looking at gowns, and the best with pricing/tailoring. They have the most up-to-date gowns in their shop, have many styles and different trends, and willing to get whatever you need even if you find it somewhere else. Whenever I would call Esther whether it was weeks later or a month to ask a question about the gown, Esther easily remembered us on a first name basis and knew exactly what gown was ordered (not everyone pays that close to attention or cares that much in other bridal stores). Can't express enough how kind and professional she is. Fast forward, my mom became critically ill and ended up in the hospital. With the wedding being so close and my mom unable to get to the store for tailoring, Laura & Esther showed up to the hospital before her shop opened to tailor her gown. The gratitude and how thankful we are is not enough to express in this post how amazing everyone who works there is. They are not only knowledgable but compassionate in what they do. Esther didn't even think twice about coming to the hospital - she made it out to be no problem and eased my stress immediately. She showed up on time, and Laura was able to tailor my mom's gown and they were on their way. End of story - best bridal place in NJ. The only regret I have is not finding them sooner and not getting my gown there. The best of the best. Thank you Bridal Chateu for outstanding customer service, unbelieveable kindness and keeping in stock the best gowns for all occasions :) Only place I would recommend in NJ (and we have been to MANY).

I fell in love with the kitty Chen dress at another bridal store, but I wanted to add straps and make a few changes to the dress. When I started talking to the other store's seamstress, I didn't feel 100% confident in her ability to create what I was envisioning in my mind. That's what led me to Bridal Chateau. From the moment I walked into the store I knew I was in good hands with Esther (the owner), and Laura (the seamstress). They made my dream a reality. They were super easy to work with and very patient with all the alterations I want to done to my wedding dress. Sometimes a bride falls in love with the dress, and buys it on the spot. However, remember, that you will be working with the store's owner and seamstress for many months after purchasing the dress. Therefore, it's very important that you also love the employees. I highly recommend using Bridal Chateau. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end!

I purchased my bridal gown, mother of the bride, flower girl and bridesmaid dress all from bridal chateau...Esther Was simply Amazing - she was so helpful and made everyone feel comfortable. She went above and beyond!! Laura the seamstress was always fabulous, she altered everything for everyone until they felt 100% comfortable! I Highly recommend bridal chateau!

I got my dress at Bridal Chateau in NJ, but I didn't find it there. I tried on my dress at a large store in NYC, but then called around to every distributor of my dress designer in the area to try to find a better price. Esther was the most reasonably priced, and even though she didn't carry my particular dress in stock, she was able to order one just for me. Esther was very kind and patient and easy to work with. I take off one star because Laura, the alterations lady, while extremely sweet, did not do the best job on my mostly simple alterations. The bustle was so complicated to figure out that we ended up safety pinning one of the bustle points because my MOHs (both!) couldn't find the last one. The top two layers of the gown were stitched together at the hem, and my mom found a pin in the dress on the wedding day. The bodice was not taken in well and was a) still too big on my wedding day b) puckering at the chest and c) visibly folded at the sides rather than seamless like the original. There was a pucker at the waistline of my dress that I brought up in my last two (of four) alterations appointments that Laura could not fix... she claimed it was because of the dimensions of my body, but that pucker hadn't been there previously. So, I will say this... definitely get your dress at Bridal Chateau because Esther is lovely and they are very reasonably priced and can special order a dress for you even if they don't have it in the store... but take it elsewhere to get it altered.

I WENT IN TO THE BRIDAL CHATEAU LOOKING FOR FLOWER GIRL DRESSES. I BEGAN BROWSING THE WEDDING GOWNS, BUT I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED MY GOWN. I FOUND A WEDDING GOWN THAT I LOVED BUT IT I ALREADY HAD A WEDDING DRESS AND IT WAS BEYOND MY BUDGET, SO I DIDNT PURCHASE IT , BUT I DID PURCHASED FLOWER GIRL DRESSES. A FEW MONTHS LATER I STILL COULDN'T GET THE DRESS OFF MY MIND. SO I RETURNED TO THE BRIDAL SHOP AND THE DRESS WASNT THERE, ESTHER HAD PLACED THE DRESS IN THE BACK OF THE SALON BECAUSE SHE KNEW THAT I WOULD BE BACK. MY MOTHER PURCHASED THE DRESS FOR ME AND ESTHER EVEN VOLUNTEERED TO SELL THE 1ST DRESS THAT I HAD PURCHASED FROM ANOTHER BRIDAL SHOP. THE DRESS WAS THE TALK OF THE WEDDING.

I called looking for a specific dress and Esther, the owner did not have but ordered a sample that came in 2 days! i ended up buying the dress, veil and bling belt from them. Great experience.
