ve a 1 star review. At our first meeting I didn’t know what exact flowers I wanted but I knew the look I was going for, lots of eucalyptus and greenery with white flowers of varying sizes and textures. I would expect to be showed different options of white flowers that would be available but there was no options provided, we were also not shown any examples of previous work that might be similar. We said we would go with her and that I would do some research and get back to her. I spent hours putting together photos of types of flowers and pictures of arrangements that I liked. I sent this to Donna and after a week with no reply, I sent a follow up email also with no response. I went into the shop to speak with Donna to see if I had the right email address, I did and she did receive the emails… I then asked about a contract as we hadn’t received anything in writing at all, and if she ordered the flowers, to which she said she didn’t order until we pay in full. She then produced paperwork/contract that had the items we wanted and the flowers with pricing…none of the flowers I sent to her were on there. I had also never seen this paperwork, so I’m not sure when we would have received it or how we would have paid in full without it. She kept insisting these were the flowers that I selected and got annoyed when I told her they weren’t. We then made final flower selections and she changed the contact and went over it for the first time, we then paid in full.
I was extremely nervous that the flowers wouldn’t be anything like I wanted but was pleasantly surprised when I went to check on them the day before the wedding. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted as well as everything else! Donna is obviously a extremely talented florist but communication needs improvement.

When I tell you that Donna is THE BEST, please believe me. She helped me put together the perfect bouquets and boutineres for my wedding party and worked with my budget. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! She even delivered them to the venue.

I cannot say that I know a lot about flowers, but I do know what I like, and I really did not like being told what my preferences should be by someone who does not know me. A friend suggested Bridal Creations by Essex Florist & Greenhouses. I would recommend them highly. Prior consultations made me feel as if I were an inconvenience, but Donna and her staff at Bridal Creations were very welcoming. She spent over an hour with me, listening to my ideas, looking at pictures I saved on my Pinterest board, and showing me live flowers. (No one ever took the time at any of my previous consultations to show me actual flowers). Working with Donna was fun and I felt like I had made a good friend rather than just book a service. The thing I really loved the best about her was that whenever I would asker her a question about something, she would ask me what would make me happy. Donna totally worked with me. She even let me come the day before my wedding to view my flowers to make sure everything was how I wanted it to be. As if her service could not get better, she preserved my wedding bouquet in a frame that she helped me custom design. It is such a beautiful keepsake that captures the memory of such a meaningful day in my life! To Donna and her staff, thank you so much for all your hard work and help!!! You are the best!!

eir wedding flowers would be though. I just knew I needed to find a good value because all the wedding florists I had seen were 2-3 times over our budget. The florist (Linda I believe) was very professional and helpful when I had a very vague and general idea of what I wanted. I had more of an idea of what colors I wanted but no idea on the particular types of flowers, so I trusted her judgement and I was amazed how the beautifully the flowers turned out. She spent alot of time with us to really try to figure out what I had envisioned in my mind and then she used her professional expertise to fill in the gaps. The final result was perfect. All the flowers were fresh and the colors were vibrant and exactly what I had envisioned. The cool part was that she said she would text you pictures the day or 2 before to show you what the flowers looked like in case it wasn't what you imagined. I would say the best part was the price. We told her our budget was to stay around $500 and even though it was a really small budget, we did not go over by much at all. She really used her talent to work with the most affordable flowers to keep us in our budget and they still turned out amazing! Would highly recommend them. Was not disappointed at all.

me pictures and samples of actual blooms to give me an idea of what my flowers would look like when they were all assembled, and she was even able to give me a pretty close dollar amount based on the number of blooms in each arrangement before I left my consult with her. I opted to only use flowers for the "wearable" flowers (bouquets & corsages & boutonnieres) and was able to keep my arrangements well under what I expected to spend, and when I saw them the day of, they were gorgeous! They all photographed beautifully, and everyone was pleased with how pretty they were, and how unique -- the dried, painted hydrangeas were a brilliant touch! I would definitely recommend them to any bride on a budget; great quality and very affordable! Thank you, Essex Florist!!

one hour prior to my ceremony, they scrambled 9 bouqets together and showed up at 520 pm, delaying my ceremony for 25 minutes, which then made us lose time at our reception. I have to admit that the flowers that they provided were beautiful and in our wedding colors, but they were not the ones we had chosen. They did apologize and refund the money, but it's a mistake I will never be able to forget. My advice: call your vendors every day the week of your wedding. They won't forget you if you annoy them.

unately my Mother in Law had a carbon copy of the order with her and they were able to copy it, and this is with them already taken half of the total as a down payment! They do not add in a tossing bouquet with any orders and wanted to charge $50 for some carnations and babies breath! We went to Raimondes and got a beautiful one with roses for $25. I had wanted shades of white with pink in my bouquet and pink with green in my bridesmaids, on the day of the wedding the bridesmaids bouquets had no green in them and basically look exactly like mine. I was disappointed in my experience here but what was worse was the customer service once things went awry, instead of them being empathetic or apologetic they were defensive and rude. I would not suggest this florist for such an occasion such as a wedding, I don;t think they are ready to deal with things on such a large scale.
