em. She helped me find my vision of what I was wanting, was respectful of my budget and helped me with a customization on my gown that ended up being absolutely perfect! Colleen and all of the other staff at BE are so kind, energetic and make wedding dress shopping such a fun experience. I also got my alterations done with Tae, who was one of the tailors that BE recommended. Tae could not have done a better job on my dress! It was a tight fitting gown with a very particular fabric type and she tailored it to fit like a glove. I do not have enough good things to say about the BE team and Tae!

k at the selections of dresses, you tell your consultant what you like and *hope* they bring you what you’ve asked for, which Carol did not. At least not until I told her I was willing to spend more than she thought I would. The dresses she brought were beautiful, but not my style. And not only that, I am a plus size bride and even after the first couple dresses she gave me were too small, when she brought more they were still too small! I normally wear 16-18, which of course is different in bridal sizes but trying on dress after dress that was too small just made me feel awful and not beautiful in the least, which is not how any bride should feel.

I didn't think it was affecting my feelings at the other places, but once you have something on that fits, you just feel more beautiful, and more yourself than ever. It was so important seeing what dresses looked like from the back, which was not something that was able to happen at these other store. The team really listened to what I did and did not like, and went above and beyond helping me choose something that I didn't even know existed! You can try other places in the KC area, but Bridal Extrodinnaire will have everything you're looking for. Bless these women: they are miracle workers!

When COVID hit, I still needed a veil and accessories. The BE team met with me over Zoom to show me my options and then allowed me to come in upon reopening to purchase. Not only did the ladies at BE really listen to what I was wanting, they took my comments and helped find the perfect dress for me even though I had no idea what that was! I ended up getting something completely different from what I thought I wanted and that is all because the women at BE took the time to listen to my likes and dislikes of each dress I put on! I also had BE hold my dress after alterations for the steam package. After having to reschedule my wedding due to COVID they were completely flexible and happy to hold on to it for an extra 4 months. When I picked it up the day before my wedding they helped us place it in the car carefully and gave us detailed instructions for making sure it looked its best for the big day! BE is the place to shop for your wedding dress in KC!

It was one they had brought to me and when I first saw it, I thought for sure it wasn't going to work out. But literally before it was even clipped, I was in tears! It was the perfect dress. I also went back to BE to buy my veil. They had the great selection and helpful suggestions as to what would work well with my dress. ad difficulty settling on a dress at many shops since the consultant picks out the dresses for you typically...even if I loved a dress I would wonder to myself if there was one even more perfect out there that I hadn’t seen yet. I actually went to Bridal Extraordinaire twice before I found my dress. During the first visit, I was still kind of narrowing in on exactly what I wanted, My consultant, Liz, listened and was very helpful and understanding when I told her I needed to keep looking before making any final decisions. 3 bridal salons later, I ended up coming back to Bridal Extraordinaire for round 2. The friendly staff, adorable salon, and amazing selection of dresses was unbeatable. This time I had actually found a couple dresses on the website that were exactly what I wanted and had Liz pull them first. One of those dresses ended up being THE dress. That is my only tip when shopping for a wedding dress at this shop. These women are amazing at what they do but they cannot read minds. With that many dresses in the shop, if you are like me and have an exact vision in mind- do a little research, and speak up and let them know what you see yourself in. The staff was nothing but supportive and made me feel like my opinion mattered. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day in my Enzoani dress. Thank you, Bridal Extraordinaire.

my bridal vision was. The very first dress that she put me in was the dress I had been dreaming about! The quality and selection at bridal extraordinaire does not compare to any other bridal store that I visited. I felt at home as soon as we walked in. BE also was one of the only places that could accommodate the large group that I had with me. I cannot thank Liz and the BE team enough. I can't wait to experience my big day in my gorgeous dress!

The instant I put it on I got chills. It was it. We tried a few more but I kept going back to that dress. We put the veil and whole thing together and their wasn't a dry eye in the room. They respect your price range, listen to your wishes and find the dress of your dreams. BE literally made it the best experience I could have ever imagined.

My consultant listened to exactly what I was looking for and pulled all the right dresses. It made the decision hard because they were all so beautiful, but eventually said YES to the perfect dress! I already felt so special with all of the attention to detail, but my friends and family who joined me for the appointment could not stop raving about how incredible it was also. We all agreed it was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced and something we will never forget. Thank you Bridal Extraordinaire for making this once-in-a-lifetime day, one to remember.

Our consultant Bizi was such a pro! She was helpful, fun and very knowledgeable! After my third dress I found the ONE! We popped the champagne and celebrated as Bizi then picked out the perfect veil to pair with the dress! BE also has a wonderful storage and steam package! I would recommend BE to any bride in KC!

The ladies at BE were so patient with me as I tried on a million different dresses, many of them multiple times, as I narrowed down their wide selection to finding the perfect dress. My consultant was very respectful of the budget I had in mind and I never felt pressured during decision making. I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and positivity with every visit. I then decided to also have my bridesmaids order their dresses through BE as well, which was another easy and smooth process. Truly an awesome experience with the ladies of BE, I didn’t want my time with them to end!

She threw in some wild card options and kept going back for more if I didn’t seem too sure. There was no rush and no judgment at all if I didn’t like something or wanted something different. Then she brought out the perfect veil and helped me see the full picture. I found my dress and then we popped a bottle of champagne!! I wish I could relive it honestly haha Ultimately, it was the greatest experience with them and I would recommend every bride in the KC metro to go to Bridal Extraordinaire.

ir beautiful bridal suite where we could all comfortably watch me try on dresses. They asked if I knew what I wanted which I continued to tell them my style and vibe. After that my 2 stylist brought back 6 gowns. ALL exactly what I requested and described. The first one I tried on I said, "that's it! I'm done." because it was perfect. They insisted I try the others on haha so I did and all were lovely and I could have been happy with. However, we all agreed after trying on the 1st dress again, that it was "the one". So, in one hour I found my dress, popped champagne, and canceled my other appointments. The stressful and packed Saturday just turned into a relieving and joyful Saturday. This was because of BE and their staff. They were so attentive to what I wanted, that we didn't need to spend hours looking at all of the options. I would 10/10 recommend BE. I loved my experience and I love my dress!

Her team curated a remarkable set of dresses for me. I was under a time crunch and they were able to get me a Pronovias gown (my dream designer!) in less than 41 days. They were so easy to work with, I felt comfortable and they went out of their way to make sure I had great options even under the time restraint. I can’t say enough good things about the people and the dress selection here. She made recommendations for where I could get my gown hemmed, suggested two vails (so I could wear a shorter one the whole night), found me the best earrings to match and made it all the dress of my dreams. Again Whitney and her team of experts is hands down the best bridal boutique in Kansas City!

No one pushed us to purchase a more expensive dress than the budget we gave which we really appreciated. We stopped by the shop and asked if we could just try on a few gowns and they were so accommodating and friendly, despite having other clients there! I promised myself I would return once I was actually planning my wedding. A few months later I got to return there (this time as a future bride and with my mother, sister-in-law and future mother-in-law) and was helped by the same consultant as before, Ellie. I showed her a few pictures on Pinterest of styles that I liked, told her my budget, and dresses I knew I didn't want and she returned a few minutes later with 5 or 6 stunning dresses! The room we were in was very cold as they had just opened for the day and it was in early March but she quickly turned on some space heaters for us and it warmed right up! I ended up finding the perfect dress there and I wholeheartedly believe that Ellie was a big part of that. Flash forward to about 3 months later when my dress came in. I came in (by myself this time) for my appointment and Ellie had pulled a few of the veils I tried on when I bought my dress and helped me find the perfect one for the big day! The entire process was so simple and enjoyable - I would highly recommend Bridal Extraordinaire to anyone looking for a beautiful gown and superb customer service. Bonus: I thought I had a very "cheap" budget and I still had plenty of options that were within my price range and were very beautiful! Thank you so much, Ellie! <3

It was exactly what I needed, to just see the dress without any comments. She was so patient and helpful. The dress came in in record time (with extra length). They steamed it and got it ready after alterations. It was perfect. I literally felt like I have never looked better. I was THRILLED with my decision.
