ecause your experience was really weighing on my heart. Unfortunately, you were extremely adamant on refusing to speak to me at any point so unfortunately, here we are. I sincerely apologize that you didn’t have a good experience at your trial. We were unaware that you weren’t pleased because I was never contacted once by you with any concerns after your trial or before your wedding. Once you were completed with your trial, you told your artist that all you preferred was a lighter & pinker lip. Ultimately, you went a different direction but we were completely blindsided by there being an issue because you still wanted the artist there for your wedding day and communicated with her that you liked her work. I sent you a confirmation email 2 weeks prior to your wedding and you confirmed all was set and good to go. Again, at no point in our communication did I realize that there was an issue because this was not communicated to me, once. I can ensure you that if I knew there was any concern, I would have bent over backwards to make sure you were 1000% happy going into your big day because that’s genuinely so important to me. I have been in business for a decade with thousands of brides and not once have I had a bride reach out with concerns, and I left the situation unsettled and not in the brides favor. Our contract does contain some legal jargon for us to be protected. However, I want to be clear that our contract does not, nor has ever, stated that you are stuck with the artist who does your trial even if you are unhappy. Our contract is simply a legal document to hold us accountable for the services requested, but our job is to make our brides feel beautiful on the biggest day of their lives. It’s rare that a bride doesn’t want to switch or change a few things after the trial. I take it very serious if a bride is uneasy and the absolute last thing I would want is for a bride to feel “trapped” in her contract and this is the first time I’m hearing this in my career so I do apologize if you felt that way. I did see a photo of your hair at the trial and I did think your waves were absolutely stunning. However, I totally understand if it didnt meet your standards and that’s totally valid. While the artists do work off of strict timelines trying to achieve the ready time, no one should ever feel rushed and we sincerely apologize if anyone did feel that way. If we do run behind in any way, it can affect your entire day so we do strive to meet that ready time (especially with big parties) but again, no one should ever feel rushed. We strive to set you up for success, but there is definitely a line between moving with a sense of urgency and rushing. The absolute last thing we would want to do is offend anyone in anyway so we definitely value your feedback. All 3 artists on your wedding (and trial) have work displayed all over our social media including our feed, stories and mentions. They have been on the team for years with hundreds of weddings under their belt. The hairstylist on your wedding was also my first hairstylist that I hired for the company 10 years ago. Ultimately, it seems like everyone was happy with their hair and makeup on the wedding day and I appreciate you sharing that. I did try contacting you several times after you shared your feedback to make things right and you declined. We truly do put our heart and souls into our craft and service so I sincerely do apologize if we fell short in any way with you. I stand by the fact if I had any idea that you were this uneasy going into your big day, that I would have made it right no matter what lengths it meant. You were truly such an easy bride to work with so it’s very heartbreaking that I didn’t have the opportunity to make things right with you at any point. You and your bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful in your photos and I hope that you had the most magical day that you cherish forever. I wish you nothing but the best and Congratulations.
