I couldn’t be happier with the amazing makeup services provided by Meli for my wedding. Meli came directly to our hotel and expertly handled my large wedding party, making sure all the girls looked stunning and got exactly what they envisioned. I wanted a more natural look and that is exactly what I got! Each girl in my wedding party received personalized attention, and the results were even better than I imagined. I truly can't thank Meli enough for making me and my girls feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Meli did a wonderful job with my makeup, and all of our bridesmaids and mother's makeup. It was 95 degrees on the day of our wedding but the airbrush stayed in place all day! Everyone looked great, very natural and I would absolutely recommend her!!

What a sweet and talented woman!! I don't wear makeup at all, and I was really debating wearing any makeup for my wedding. I just wanted to look like myself and not a completely different dolled-up person. I put out a few inquiries and almost immediately got a message back. Meli did such an amazing job; it was just enough makeup to enhance my natural features without making me feel like I had stuff caked on my face all day. I have very pale Irish skin that turns bright red in front of a crowd, and she managed to keep it totally controlled with such a light feel. She was also very quick but did not rush - I think efficient is the best word! Five girls were all ready to go under 2 hours. Quick, talented, affordable, and incredibly friendly! I would highly recommend Meli, she knows what she's doing.

Meli was the perfect choice for my wedding makeup! I don't typically wear a lot of makeup so I wanted to look very natural and so did my bridesmaids. I wanted to look like myself but obviously with some more pop! It was exactly what I wanted. She was able to do 9 peoples makeup in 4 hours. She was efficient, professional, made all of the girls feel comfortable and did an incredible job. She is so sweet and a lovely person to work with.

the makeup she’s done for my wedding was beautiful i was just a bit upset that she didn’t tell me i had more to pay on my wedding day and it took me by surprised. i had to borrow money from my dad because i had nothing saved to give it to her. it added me stress that i didn’t want to have on my wedding day. she’s amazing but i just wished she was more open with communication specially about this.

Mel is absolutely amazing. The way she did was makeup was BETTER then what i was expecting. Even with my bridal party being Al over the place she was able to get everyone done on time and even had time to squeeze in my sister in law last minute. I highly recommend her!

If you are a bride you NEED to book with Melli! She is the best and knows what she's doing. She outdoes herself. I booked her for my rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, and wedding. Each time she did a princess look because on my wedding day I wanted a princess look and she nailed it!!! Melli & I are now so close and great friends. Melli is so good at what she does. She did soo amazing on my makeup and my girls!

Meli did an amazing job for me, my three bridesmaids, my mom, and MIL. She kept in constant communication with me starting from before our trial. The makeup turned exactly like I had dreamed and the fact that it lasted through the night is astounding considering I was crying like a baby almost the entire day! Working with Meli was awesome. She is great at communicating and I felt heard and supported leading up to booking, my trial, and the wedding. The moms, the girls, and I all really enjoyed having Meli do our makeup for my wedding and everyone looked beautiful. She is easy to talk to and makes sure you feel good with the job she is doing. Meli is the best makeup artist I could have asked for on my wedding day. I am so thankful to her for everything! From the trial, which helped me get an idea of what the experience would be, to the day itself, she was nothing but helpful. Meli showed up on time and ready to work, after a few minutes of setting up and a sip of coffee she was ready to go. Everyone was very impressed with how hard she worked! She kept us on schedule so we were able to walk out the door on time. I was impressed by how she was calm and collected while all the chaos was happening around her. All the ladies were so happy with their makeup, and each of us chose very different looks. From the young to the old we all looked glam and felt fabulous. I also changed my inspiration a bit from the trial to the wedding day, and she was more than flexible with adding a bit more glam to the look. She also communicated with me in the months leading up to the wedding, and I never felt like I was left in the dark about anything. My makeup lasted the whole day and I was so sad to take it off since that was the most beautiful I have ever felt. It even lasted through a torrential downpour in NYC as we were running to our hotel room - I looked in the mirror and still had the full glam face on! I would recommend Meli highly and am so happy I got to work with her!

Meli is an absolute amazing person and artist. When I went looking for a MUA, I had a few requirements: 1) Reasonably priced for myself as well as my bridal party 2) More natural look. I wanted to look like me. Meli absolutely met these requirements. Not only did she meet them, she exceeded them. It was so easy to work with her. Her communication was amazing and truly made me feel like myself, with added beauty! She was able to do my trial for my engagement shoot (highly recommend) and I was blown away on how my makeup stayed on while I was outside for hours taking pictures on a cold, chilly day. The same holds true for my wedding day. My makeup lasted! Lashes are included and she leaves you a little touch up lip product as well. I knew after my first phone call with Meli that she was “the one!” She is the sweetest, so communicative, and really prioritizes your comfort level when it comes to makeup. She is very experienced and so talented with natural glam. She talked me through my trial and helped me with any changes we wanted to make before the big day. I can't begin to say enough about how wonderful Meli was to work with. At my trial, she listened, took in what look I was going for and the viewed photos I brought for inspiration. As we went, she checked in to make sure that what she was doing lined up with my vision. At the end of the trial, I was thrilled with the outcome and booked right away. Leading up to wedding day, she was super approachable with any questions I had and was very responsive when I reached out to add another bridesmaid in or to ask a question. On my wedding day, she arrived to the location of our venue early and was fully prepared for a morning of working with 6 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, and myself. She took her time with each person, making sure they were pleased with their look, and was so professional, friendly, and efficient to be sure we were on schedule and done in time. She took the time to do touch ups before leaving as well. When I say that she NAILED the look I was going for, I can't emphasize that enough. I look like me in the pictures, just glammed up a bit and that was all I was looking for. She crushed it- I can't recommend her enough. I struck gold when I found Meli's listing while browsing on The Knot and if you're looking for someone who is wonderful to work with on your wedding day, call Meli!! She truly loves what she does and puts passion into her work. You will not be disappointed!

Meli was so so lovely! I found her by chance pretty close to my wedding date. She squeezed me in for a trial about a month before the wedding, on the morning of my bridal shower, and before she jetted to another wedding. I got tons of compliments, including several saying they couldn’t tell I was wearing fake lashes. Day of the wedding she drove out to my house and discreetly set up in a corner where she proceeded to decorate and flatter the faces of my 8 bridesmaids (and a couple extra folks!). She was speedy but absolutely thorough and we all again got so many compliments. Everyone felt beautiful. Almost none of us wear makeup regularly, and Meli did a great job of keeping us fairly natural looking while super special.

I have never had such a positive experience with a make-up artist before! I am someone who doesn't like a ton of make-up and prefers a more natural look. I especially hate when make-up covers up all my freckles - which every artist has convinced me to do in my past. I told Meli all of this and she was just like "no problem at all!". I felt beautiful on my wedding day and it is all becaue of Meli. I cannot recommend her enough. All of my bridesmaids loved their make-up as well!

The trial process went smoothly and Mel gave us all exactly what we were looking for in terms of makeup for the wedding. I knew from our first conversation that I wanted Meli to do mine and my family’s makeup for my wedding. She is very responsive and gives every detail you could possibly need right from the beginning. Meli is so sweet and personable that it felt like an old friend coming to help with your makeup! She is so talented and has an eye for picking the best colors/products that will make you feel beautiful. We all got so many great compliments on our makeup and it looked fantastic in all pictures, even by the end of the night! Meli was the sweetest, most reliable/communicative, and magically talented person to work with for our special weekend! From the moment I submitted an inquiry, Meli responded almost immediately with all of the details I needed, and she was available by both text and email for questions and updates over the months as I ironed out all of the details from the headcount, schedule, and other updates. I had also sent Meli some "inspirational" looks I was hoping to emulate for my vision of colors and style as the day got closer, and she not only created the most beautiful interpretation of them, but she also gifted me a shimmery pink/pearl lip gloss that matched the colors I had sent so that I could reapply throughout the day and look glowing into the night. I received so many compliments on the flawlessness of my makeup, and Meli was so thoughtful and sent/mailed printed photos of the shots she took on her phone of the venue and the finished product of my lashes for days and porcelain skin. :-) I trusted her completely, she really is the best, so professional, punctual, and personable! My family and friends who had makeup done kept raving about how much they loved working with her - how she was so fun and sweet, and all of the traits you want in your makeup artist on your wedding day. Meli also works with hairstylist Rose Renda (who was also lovely and talented), so be sure to ask about her when you reach out, too.

You need to hire Meli for your wedding or any other special event. Her work is so beautiful and natural, she works so well to collaborate with you and give you the perfect look that you want -- and it lasts all night too! I cried all during my ceremony (happy tears) and sweat on the dance floor, and it still didn't budge. The best part is that she's incredibly friendly and personable, I felt like we were all friends getting ready together and it was a wonderful way to start my wedding day. Her partner hair stylist, Rose, is fantastic as well!

Meli was so great and flexible with my weddings-had to reschedule multiple times due to COVID but she worked with me and did the makeup for both weddings we had! Quality of makeup was amazing, eyelashes included in the price! Such a great experience!

I wanted to have my make up trial done for my bridal shower, which was at noon on a morning that she had to do makeup for a bride on her wedding day. She was so sweet to accommodate me at 8am that day and it went so perfectly. She did a fantastic job- so many compliments at my shower. On my wedding day, we changed my lip color and she added a bit more to my look and made me look amazing!!! She was so professional and kind with me and all of my family and friends. Everyone loved her and she made them look fantastic. She even wrote me a sweet card and gave me a small lip color to reapply throughout the wedding day. Meli did an absolutely incredible job with my bridal makeup as well as my bridal party's! She is so talented at what she does and her work is truly art. My bridal makeup was a dream. I wanted a more "natural glow" bridal look with a little bit of sparkle and Meli accomplished exactly what I had pictured. She works hard to fulfill every client's vision and is also so kind and efficient. Overall, I was blown away by my bridal makeup along with my bridesmaids' looks at our wedding. Meli was a huge part of making our day so special. My husband and I got married in 2020, but held the reception this year. In 2020, my bridesmaids and I did our own hair and makeup and this year I wanted a low stress morning and have the "getting ready" experience. Meli delivered!! As Mother of the Bride, I was very selective in who I brought on board for my daughter’s wedding. From our very first phone call I knew Meli was exactly the person we were looking for. She was so friendly and so personable, and I loved how quickly she responded too. There are other make up artists out there who don’t return phone calls for days, and others who are only willing to email you a price list, they don’t even want to get on the phone. Needless to say, I was thrilled when we hung up the phone. We scheduled a make up trial and I can’t say enough good things. I absolutely love how Meli tailors your look based on your wants and needs. When you look through the before and after shots of other make up artists, you will see pretty much the exact same look duplicated on face after face after face, regardless of whether or not it complements them. You’re not going to get that here. You’re going to get a customized look that works for you. During the trial, she did exactly what my daughter, one of her bridesmaids, and I asked for, and all three were different looks. She did an absolutely beautiful job on all three of us. And for the record, she was so much fun- so warm and and friendly and funny (while still professional!)! I was so very impressed that I booked her immediately for the wedding. On my daughter’s wedding day, Meli arrived exactly on time. We were all getting ready at the venue and asked her to get there at 1 PM. As my daughter and I pulled up, so did Meli . She did my makeup, my daughter’s makeup, and 4 bridesmaids’ makeup. Each of us had the exact look we wanted, from airbrush to contour to eyelashes to lip color. The fact that she’s so warm and friendly and fun was just a bonus on top of her makeup application expertise! If you want a makeup artist who will listen to you and expertly give you the look you desire, and not do the same “paint by number” look on the faces of everyone in your wedding party, definitely call Meli. She is truly the best of the best and I highly recommend hiring her for your bridal makeup!

Meli and Rose were so great to work with! I had booked Meli/Rose before the pandemic but they still honored the prices from when I had originally booked despite their prices going up. How amazing is that? I used them several times over the 2 years up until the wedding - engagement photo shoot, bridal shower, and wedding. Meli really listened to what I wanted and my wedding makeup was so perfect that my now husband even commented on how great it looked! Rose was also great because I had a different hairstyle for each event and day of, all of the bridesmaids loved their hair! They were both also very flexible when we had some last minute requests for hair and makeup and were able to fit everyone in. Both my makeup and hair stayed on the whole day even though it was really hot and we danced a lot! I would highly recommend either of them!
