Laela was amazing!! She did my hair as well as my bridesmaid's, and we were so pleased with what she created! She stepped in without much advance notice and set my mind at ease immediately with her warmth and professionalism. The day of my wedding our venue lost power and water, and she didn't miss a beat! Not only did she do an amazing job with our hair, but she was fun to talk with and to have as part of the getting ready process. I highly recommend working with Laela!

Hello, and let me introduce myself! I am one of Vermont's leading bridal hair and makeup professionals. Being part of the destination wedding industry is a dream come true, and working with the bride and the bridal party is an honor! I am a self taught makeup artist and a licensed cosmetologist who began rigorous training during my apprenticeship with a celebrity hairstylist from NYC. After completing hands on training for two years, I went on to open my own private studio in the heart of Burlington, Vermont. I love traveling to destination weddings in Vermont!

Laela and Kate were timely and efficient with their setup at our venue, and assisted with hair for the bride, mothers of the bride and groom, and a few other family members. They were the most friendly, calm and easy-going people to work with. Laela was also able to accommodate a last-minute bride's request from using lipstick to a lip stain for longer-lasting results for the day! Forever grateful for their work and efforts to make everyone picture-perfect for our wedding day, would highly & always recommend Laela and her team to anyone looking for hair and make-up services.

get to VT before then. She made requested changes the day of, and even went shopping to buy lip stain the night before since my husband requested a lip color that wouldn’t end up on him. She brings great playlists and a wonderful attitude, and her assistants are just as superb! I would absolutely book her for additional events should I have any in VT! Our wedding morning was complete chaos, as little ones around us needed to be entertained and all of my bridesmaids helped me physically set up the venue as they got ready, and Laela took it all in stride. Laela repeatedly asked if anyone needed touch-ups, and she generously allowed members of the party who did not get their hair or makeup done to use hairspray, bobbie pins, etc. She remembered everything we discussed at my hair and makeup trial so that I didn't need to worry about anything on the day. It honestly felt like she was a part of the family for the morning.

our tasting months before our wedding and she made time for my hair and make up trial even though we were only in Burlington for about a day. A few months after my trial, I wanted to slightly change my hair and makeup and she was so flexible and understanding. She brought two assistants with her on my wedding day to do hair and makeup for my entire bridal party. They were all so friendly, professional, talented and very comfortable to work with. braid in the back of the updo even though I have pretty thin (but long) hair. The live flowers from the florist she included finished the look I had always envisioned. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was bc her assistant was a little bit slower so you want to allow for more time then you might think when planning your day. We started a little after 9:00 and weren’t ready until after 1:00 (bride, four bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and Aunt’s makeup). Set realistic expectations up front!
