ound us needed to be entertained and all of my bridesmaids helped me physically set up the venue as they got ready, and Laela took it all in stride. Laela repeatedly asked if anyone needed touch-ups, and she generously allowed members of the party who did not get their hair or makeup done to use hairspray, bobbie pins, etc. She remembered everything we discussed at my hair and makeup trial so that I didn't need to worry about anything on the day. It honestly felt like she was a part of the family for the morning.

They were the most friendly, calm and easy-going people to work with. Laela was also able to accommodate a last-minute bride's request from using lipstick to a lip stain for longer-lasting results for the day! The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was bc her assistant was a little bit slower so you want to allow for more time then you might think when planning your day. We started a little after 9:00 and weren’t ready until after 1:00 (bride, four bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and Aunt’s makeup). Set realistic expectations up front!

Hello and let me introduce myself! I am one of Vermont's leading bridal hair and makeup professionals. Being part of the destination wedding industry is a dream come true and working with the bride and the bridal party is an honor! I am a self taught makeup artist and a licensed cosmetologist who began rigorous training during my apprenticeship with Justin Cruz, celebrity hairstylist. After completing hands on training for two years, I went on to open my own private studio in the heart of Burlington, Vermont where I resides now. I love traveling to destination weddings in Vermont!
