Rhonda Johnson is a luxury bridal makeup and hair artist who specializes in elopements and small gatherings throughout the Central Coast of California. Originally based in Los Angeles she has 30 years of experience working in the television, commercial, red carpet, and print advertising industries. In 2007 she started Bridalmakeupandhair.com which has lead her to do over 600+ weddings while still traveling to Los Angeles to work for Disney, Casablanca Bridal, Hasbro, Jakks Pacific Inc and many others. Rhonda's goal is to help you bring out the " best version of you". Booking Rhonda insures you're using an artist that is well versed in photography makeup, adheres to the highest sanitation standards, is licensed and fully insured.

e and I searched high and low to find a stylist who we thought would be able to make everyone happy. We had a group of women who were all natural beauties and not accustom to wearing a lot of make up. Rhonda and Jorien left us all speechless.
It was a delight to have both of them be a part of Katie’s wedding day. The ease in which they helped all the ladies get ready and enjoyed socializing with everyone was incredible. Both Rhonda and Jorien were true professionals who have that natural artistic gift to listen to how someone would like to look and create it.
Rhonda was gracious in giving us all last minute bridal party tips for getting dressed and how to look our best.

and based off of a few pictures and some very vague descriptions she was able to create almost exactly what I wanted on the first try. She asked for feedback after the trial, and I gave her a few suggestions about how to tweak the style. On the actual wedding day, she was able to make the adjustments she needed to make my hair and makeup look exactly how I wanted them! She also has a network of other stylists she works with, which was really helpful in coordinating the beauty appointments for my four bridesmaids and my mom as well on the morning of the wedding. Both Rhonda and Vikki (the other stylist) showed up on time and set up a full studio in the house we were renting so that we could all relax while we were getting ready. Rhonda then went above and beyond, and came along with the bridal party for pre-ceremony photographs (I hired her husband, Peer, as my photographer) so that she could do touch-ups and make sure I stayed looking gorgeous until the ceremony!
