Beautiful selection with onsite alterations
Found my dream dress!!!
Coming from a very stressed out, indecisive bride to be I was so nervous to not like anything. With the help from Lisa and Susan herself, I was not only comforted, but I got the best help to find my dress. I can’t stop looking at the few photos I have of myself in it just from my one appointment and can’t wait to wear it on my big day 🤍
Also! They were so accommodating with getting me an appointment when my mom and sister were still in town!
We went to visit Bridals by Sandra for a Grand Mother of the Bride dress. We had a wonderful experience. Susan made great suggestions for a women's size Grand Mother Dress. She took great care of us with ordering the dress and measurements. The Entire Staff was just wonderful! Highly Recommend!
They assured me I would find a dress and
Boy did I!! Their selection is
Fabulous my appointment was excellent and my dress is flawless
Bridals by Sandra is an excellent salon. I’m local so it was also super convenient. They have a great selection of wedding dresses. During my shopping appointment, I saw my dress on a mannequin and the saleswoman took the dress off the mannequin so I could try it on. My fittings with Jackie went really well because she knew how to tailor the dress to complement my unique body type. Communication with her was super easy and she kept me updated throughout the alterations process. Overall, my experience with them was excellent!
Let me start off by saying my dress was an absolute dream. I had a vision, and within 2 hours I found my dream dress. In addition to that, they found me the perfect cape to match. Overall, I was so pleased with my dress and how safe and secure it was as they have a fireproof storage room. My husband and our wedding party rented suits from here, and they came out beautifully.
With that being said, unfortunately there were some cons. The front-desk staff often sounds incredibly agitated when speaking with them, it makes you feel bad for contacting and inquiring about your orders, which thank god I inquired. While I did not pick a cape at my initial fitting, the seamstress on site noted in my file I was interested in receiving a cape. Unfortunately, the seamstress I had initially left, and when calling the location to inquire about my cape, no one was aware of this. Once the cape idea was reviewed, I received service quickly and found my dream cape. Although, if I did not call and inquire, there may have been a lost opportunity to have what I dreamed about. My stepfather's shirt that he rented arrived and the collar was stained, leaving them to wait an additional hour on site for them to clean the collar. While we're thankful the stain was removed, there was definitely a time crunch in picking up items. Lastly, and most importantly, my dress' straps broke prior to the reception starting. I was a great sport about it and we were able to alleviate it, it was incredibly unfortunate as I hadn't done anything prior to have caused it to break throughout the day.
Honestly, a 1 star may be generous. When I first arrived, there was literally no one around. The stylist at the front desk took us back to this little table and said she had questions for me. Started off with asking me how tall my fiancé is (strange FIRST question) and then the LAST question was what kind of styles did I like. I told her I specifically like the Maggie Sottero line, but that I was open to mostly anything (trying to keep an open mind). I told her I had pictures of dresses I liked. She allowed me to show her ONE dress, acted like she knew exactly what I wanted. Rushed us back to this CLOSET that is open at the back where they keep the dresses. Oh yes, if you wanted to be able to see other dresses they have, don't bother, you can't. Also the dressing rooms are connected at the back so the other stylists can see you changing (hello, privacy).
So she brings me out 3 very similar dresses that were similar to the ONE photo I showed her. I immediately didn't like any of them. I then told her that maybe what I had thought I liked wasn't actually my style and if we could try something different. So she brings out 3 more dresses, all of which are VERY similar to what she just had me try on. Each one lace with flowers. I kept saying I didn't like the flowers. What does she do after this? Brings out 3 more with EVEN MORE FLOWERS. After my sister and I asking multiple times for me to try on something a little more fitted (I had said I liked a line but then I was like maybe I actually am looking for something a little more fitted because none of these I found appealing), she brings out a fit and flare that is the exact opposite of anything I had told her I was looking for. A very elegant satin off the shoulder, sweetheart neckline (told her I didn't like this neckline), VERY fitted gown.
The entire time I felt SO rushed. To give you an idea, I tried on 13 gowns in less than an hour. Every time I said it was something I wasn't sure about and was trying to determine what I liked and didn't like, she'd interrupt me and say "okay, let's just try on something else if you hate it."
Honestly, I left there feeling so disappointed. It was my first experience trying on wedding gowns and I don't want to go to any others.
OH and she also told me at the very end of the appointment that they would be getting new gowns in "a couple of weeks" and that I could come back and try on those. She kept emphasizing they'd be "new" and "upcoming" and when I asked when they would be there since she said a couple of weeks, she told me NOVEMBER (my appointment was yesterday 9/2). My wedding is 10/5/2024. I do not want to wait until NOVEMBER to see if I even like anything they have nor do I want to be treated like I'm a nuisance to them. Never in my life did I expect that.
Stay away from this place, unless you like being seen naked by the whole staff, treated like you're a virus, and continuously interrupted. 0 stars.
I used Bridals by Sandra for my wedding dress. I went back twice for alterations and got my dress. I put it on the day of and none of it was done. My straps were 1 1/2” too long and had to be safety pinned up, when my dress was bussled it was dragging on the floor which I had to hold up the whole night so I didn’t trip. It was a nightmare dealing with them and they are so rude and unprofessional whenever questions are asked. During my ceremony you could see the padding in my top in all the pictures. So disappointed and was told I had to wait for a call back with no response as of yet.
While the dress I received from Sandra’s was beautiful and the seamstress who made my alterations was very helpful and did quality work, I found the team to be haphazard and unorganized. Whenever I entered the building there was often chaos surrounding the front desk, stylists going every which way and it was hard to get assistance with what I was there for. Sometimes when I came for an appointment (to look at dresses or for a fitting), I’d be left in the fitting room by myself for over half an hour before someone returned. Would also highly recommend you buy a veil elsewhere if you’re interested in one as these are highly overpriced and they do not accept any returns. When I went for my first appointment, I felt like the stylist was sort of rude and dismissive of what I was asking for, but I also felt like I was being rushed. Unfortunately all photos that I took there turned out horribly due to the very poor lighting as well, so hard to look back and reflect on what I had tried on.
Slightly unorganized and often running behind on appointments but I did find a beautiful wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses here. Plus it's super convenient to get alterations done here as well.
Excellent experience! Found the dress of my dreams! Everyone was super kind and professional and made the entire process so simple. Shout out to Brianna for helping me make this such a memorable time XO
First off some transparency, I used to work here as a teen in 2006. I was already comfortable with this establishment. It gives a really cool vintage vibe. The store itself is set up as it was back in the 60s. It’s a traditional show room and not a modern shop or department store. They even kept the show room fitting rooms. Which is cool cause you can kinda see into the dress vault because the backs of the fitting rooms are open so the laddies and easily move dresses in and out.
One of the reasons I came back here to get my bridal gown was because I know the owner is also a wholesaler for many of the bridal shops along the east coast and the mid west. They showed me dresses from Australia, Ukraine, Spain, China and various USA brands. Since their dresses come from all over the world you really got to adhere to all the bridal sites that say get you dress no less than 9 months out. I didn’t, but Sue jumped through so many hoops to make sure my dress was here in time.
2nd I went with them cause I know that they specialize in custom work. Which can be done with one of their master seamstress or through the Casablanca bridal company. I looked into both these options. With either option, expect to pay. It’s custom work and labor is not included in the price of the dress. The Casablanca options were really cool cause for extra $$ you can mix and match your dress. But I ended up going the root of having my custom work done by one of their seamstress. I know a few of the seamstresses that contract through them and they each have over 30+ years of experience. Which was great cause they are no BS when it comes to what can and cannot be done to a dress. I ended up paying a little under $500 in total for alterations including tip, which is not bad.
3rd, they carry plus size bridal gowns to try on. As a bigger girl it felt so good to try on more than one dress that fit.
They have a couple free services that are pretty convenient. They store the dresses for you in a Vault. They also will press and put your dress in a bust form when you pick it up. Which was SUPER nice cause it meant I didn’t have to spend so much time the day of the wedding steaming it myself. I had a huge ball gown with alot of layers and feathers. So I was already expecting to repress it, but was pleasantly surprised that I only needed to touch up the train since the top didn’t wrinkle from it being in a bust form.
Everything there is by appointment only, it was that way even before Covid. Even so, they get super busy. Saturdays are a mad house the place is packed. Expect to wait on a Saturday. So I recommend making a weekday appointment. And request a big room if you are bringing more than 2 people with you. They only have 4 large rooms with a curtain and those book up fast. The rest of the rooms are seamstress rooms so they are smaller and no curtain.
For my bridesmaids I did a Bash. This is something they do Exclusively for people who purchased their bridals gowns through them. They put us in a private large show room that had 2 fitting room in it. It was BYOB and I don’t think I tipped our consultant near enough. They got some special talent with keeping all the girls on task while they are drinking, socializing and playing dress up.
Some people here complain out tipping, but I ended up tipping the seamstress a little more than I would a hairdresser or nail salon artist. Cause it’s like similar principle.
Don't bother looking anywhere else for your dress! This is truly the Kleinfeld experience on a Nazareth budget! The girls at Sandra's are so professional and make you feel like the beautiful bride you are through the whole experience! They also did the same for my mom, my mother in law and other family members! The dresses and accessories are incredibly affordable as are the alterations. What was so amazing about my experience was that I was able to customize my Casablanca dress to my heart's content so my dress was really a mashup of 2 different dresses with additional details added. The girls were so patient with me when I needed to rule out other possibilities before making my final choice and I'm just so pleased with the final product. I felt like a true princess the entire day and I owe it to them!!
This was my first dress shopping experience and honestly it was a total bust. I left there feeling like I was never going to find a dress. First off you could not see the dresses for yourself and pick them. I know that is common in some bridal salons, but here it would have been helpful. I asked for specific features (example: something that isn’t poofy- pretty nonspecific) and the my stylist would only bring back poofy tulle filled dresses and tell me layers could be cut out. I now realize I had been asking for a sheath dress (didn’t know the term at the time). I described it to my stylist as “straight” and was told they don’t make dresses like that? I did not have one single dress that even somewhat met my vision and felt that the dresses I was given to try did not work for a modern bride. As a first time shopper, I needed guidance because I didn’t completely know what I wanted in a dress and also was unfamiliar with the terms used to describe dresses, but my stylist was essentially silent the whole time. The lighting is horrific in the fitting rooms. My fitting room was directly in front of the door for the dress stock room, so stylists were constantly going in and out through my fitting room and looking at me, which gave me no privacy whatsoever. The rooms are not closed off and I had an extremely large and loud group next to me which took away from my experience. All the sample sizes they have run pretty small compared to other stores which was unfortunate because you can’t really see what you are trying on. Save your time and check out any of the other local salons! You will have a much better experience elsewhere!
I can understand how a very specific type of bride would enjoy this. Their big thing is you can make any dress *custom* - and from the sounds of it you truly can. However, as a Bride that isn’t into that and just wants to be able to buy the dress and go, this is not the place. At any given point I was not looking at more than 50% of a finished product of the dress I wanted. I went to two stores prior where every dress was a finished product with the exception of maybe 1 detail to add on. To top it off, I’m a plus size bride and I repeatedly was trying on size 6, size 8 dresses because it was all they had. If this shop wasn’t so worried about the sale they probably would have listened to what I was saying and politely told me this might not be my place….but they just kept trying and got to a point where they were condescending about me ever finding the dress I wanted. Meanwhile I had 3 other options at other stores that were contenders and found the one that I’m going to another store in the area to purchase. The entire experience just felt like I was working with car salesmen. My group and I left just totally offended by the entire thing. Also, for the love of God update the interior. I felt like I was at my moms 80’s Prom.
I wanted to love my experience coming to Bridal’s by Sandra, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The store is beautiful, and seems to have a really great selection. However, the consultant helping me just seemed to be missing the mark. Was bringing dresses that were maybe 50% of what I was asking for. I also felt the lighting was a bit dim on the fitting rooms, which skewed my opinion of almost everything I tried on. Overall, I would go back as they had a nice selection of bridesmaid dresses, jewelry, and flower girl dresses. I just wish my experience would have been different!
I purchased my wedding gown at Bridals By Sandra. I had a very positive experience with my consultant Kristen. She viewed my pinterest page and brought our several gowns for me to try including a Morilee gown that had caught my eye and ultimately ended up being the one. The seamstress that I had also did an excellent job with my alterations.
Bridals by Sandra was the first place we started looking for the potential wedding dress and what a blessing it was to start there. From the moment we walked in, they were extremely polite in leading us to the show room to let us look around while we waited for the stylist. I tried on several dresses, liking some things from one dress and different things from others. They told us the dress we loved the most was styled by a company who would be willing to customize the dress. We were all impressed by the option even if they told us the only thing we would have for several months would be a sketch of the dress. After thinking it over, I signed off on the sketch. Despite COVID, they were incredible with making sure I had all the necessary accessories to go with the gown, even being honest about which things it may be better for me to get elsewhere. The seamstress they paired me up with (Jackie) was phenomenal. She listened intently to all my concerns about the fit and keeping the dress modest as possible. Not only did she address all my concerns, she spent over 30 hours hand-sewing the detailing on and in adding the extra lace to the actual bodice portion along with the extra beading so it was one piece. I was absolutely floored by how much time and work she put in to helping make my dress perfect. I would 100% recommend Bridals by Sandra to any bride looking to get their dress here.
My journey with Bridals by Sandra went on for roughly 2 years due to the pandemic, and overall I had a positive experience. In my first visit, Samantha couldn't have been more helpful. She was so nice, was patient with me as I was getting a little discouraged not finding a dress I loved, and helped provide recommendations to fine tune and eventually find the dress of my dreams. Since it ended up being a Casablanca gown, it was able to be customized before it was made, and she helped me to bring up the front and the back a bit as they were lower than I wanted for a church wedding. I was nervous how it would look at my first fitting, since I had only been looking at sketches of my customized dress but it was exactly as Samantha described it would be. I had a couple of fittings during summer 2020 and my only complaint was that they were difficult to get a hold of via phone over those months... however, it's understandable because of all the changes with Covid. I'm sure brides were calling nonstop about their gowns, fittings, etc. My dress ended up being perfect, and I wore it not only for my Sept 2020 small ceremony, but also for my Sept 2021 postponed reception. Between events, Bridals by Sandra offered to hold the dress and veil in their vault and steam it again for the 2nd event. I really appreciated that! In my many experiences at Bridals by Sandra for both my events as well as friends' weddings, I found that some employees are nicer/more professional than others. I should also mention that my bridesmaids got their dresses here too and I don't recall any complaints or anything. Overall, positive experience and I would recommend!
The consultant Lauren that I had to start with at Bridals by Sandra was so great to work with and helped me find my custom Kerri dress! The fitting appointments after that we’re not the greatest. I didn’t get as great of service until the last fitting, but all in all it was a good experience.
I didn’t have any problems ordering my dress but I felt tossed around at my appointments between different stylists. Even having appointments I waited a while. My dress took about 6-7 months to come in which is exactly what they told me to expect.
They are the only vendor in the area with Maggie Sottero dresses, so that is a point in their favor, but the customer service is really lacking. As another reviewer mentioned, it is very difficult to get a hold of anyone even when you call during business hours - you usually get a recorded message telling you to call back during business hours (which it is) and then it hangs up without letting you leave a message. While I had a good experience choosing gowns with my consultant Brianna, most of the staff was unpleasant to work with. The dress my mother ordered (sized up on their suggestion) was so big on her that they refused to alter it because they didn’t want so much work, but also refused to give her a refund or reorder the dress. I was most upset with the tone in which they spoke to her, essentially blaming her for getting the wrong size dress and not being sympathetic at all to the fact that she was disappointed. My mother and I both left in tears - it’s not just the issue that the dress didn’t fit, it’s the manner in which they dealt with it. I have had past experiences with them as a bridesmaid and felt the staff was very dismissive and short with me then, too. I would not go back.
I loved my bridal experience here at Sandra's. Deb was so attentive and helpful when I found the perfect dress for my big day. Susan really helped me to pick out the picture veil and accessories to round out my bridal look.
My consultant, Brianna, was extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made exploring my options manageable and the experience trying on dresses comfortable! I ended up falling in love with a dress that I didn’t expect (and it was far below my budget too!!) I recommend this store— there’s a lot of options and the staff are great!
Bridals by Sandra was easy to work with, quick to respond and helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. Highly Recommend!
I've loved Bridals by Sandra since I got my prom dress here years ago. So I knew this was one spot I wanted to try on dresses. When I went in I was nervous - what if they didn't have dresses in my size or price? But Brianna my consultant was excellent! She listened to what I did and did not like when trying on dresses. I thought I found one I really liked so she dressed me up with flowers and a veil so I could really see it. When I seemed unsure she asked if I wanted to see some more (I appreciated her not rushing or pushing me because I really liked one) and then she brought in maybe 4 more for me and I found the one I loved! She even let me try on a few more after that JUST to be sure and then helped me pick out the perfect veil.
I am not one to leave a review but my entire experience was just ridiculous and disappointing. In order to make everything easy, I bought my bridal dress, bridesmaid dresses, and the groom/groomsmen suits from here. Going in for our bridesmaids’ dress appointment, I knew exactly what color I wanted. The girl showed us the rack and said “all these dresses come in this color”. 2 weeks later the designer company contacted the shop because the dress my girls ended up picking out did not come in that color so we had to go back to pick out a new dress. They ended up ordering a dress size too small for one of my bridesmaid and the seamstress ended up breaking the zipper 2 different times when she came for her alteration appointments when trying to make the dress fit her. When the groom/groomsmen came to pick up their suits the Wednesday before the wedding (not sure why the suits come in so last minute) all but one did not fully fit. They did a size exchange for them and came in the following day to try them on and the shirts were still the wrong size and they ended up getting the wrong suit jacket. We then had to go back a 3rd day to pick up the shirts/jackets that still didn’t fit correctly but were doable. They had also given us some extra ties since one had gone missing. Come the day of the wedding, we realize that none of the ties matched!! Although the employees tried to be accommodating, they came off a bit rude about everything.
Bridals by Sandra came HIGHLY recommended for wedding dress shopping by numerous people. I had a feeling it would take me a bit to find a dress I like as I am very particular, so I made a last minute appointment (pre quarantine) and Kristen immediately made me feel comfortable and told me to enjoy the process! She was helpful and knowledgeable on what dresses to pull within my price point and shortly after I found my perfect dress!!
The entire staff was extremely helpful during the pandemic and was always available for my questions.
They were patient and worked with all my alterations and also helped my dad find his suit.
Everyone at the bridal shop was so kind and easy to work with!
My consultant Briana (I can't remember the spelling of her name, sorry!) was amazing! I'd give her 5 stars. She listened to what I was looking for, pulled dresses to match what I wanted but then asked me to try on one, a wildcard. But it happened to be my dress. Nothing like I would have thought I'd love! It was perfect!!
I gave three stars because when trying to get ahold of the store, I kept getting this recording that I couldn't leave a message and to try again. I was calling during COVID hours. After 3 attempts I finally got through. This happened a few times, it's a little frustrating.
My seamstress was nice but she didn't listen to me. I had a extra strap in the gown that helped zip and button it up. I told her twice that it needs to be snapped, but she just kept saying ok without doing anything. Finally we showed her and she just laughed about 🙄. It was little things like that that were annoying when trying to get my dress.
Getting my wedding gown here helped make a stressful situation a wonderful experience. Hailey assisted me in finding my wedding dress. I do not think I could have done it without her. She helped me find my dream dress. When she brought the dress to me she said “This dress made me think of you, you’re going to love it.” She was right! Susan, the owner was also present when I was trying dresses on. She helped make me feel comfortable in what I was wearing. A great place for dress shopping!!
Start to finish was simply put, incredible! I went to try on my dress, had alterations made, and that was it! The alterations were done in one shot and the dress fit perfectly! Teri was an incredible seamstress and even helped me learn how to tape for support since I couldn’t wear a bra with my style dress. Being a larger woman I was afraid of not finding anything but everyone was helpful, kind, and overall incredible to work with. I looked and felt beyond stunning for my special day!
The owner was a sweetheart and made me feel very calm when I thought my dress was going to be too small. My only downside with the shop is the alterations process & the customer service. I would recommend going elsewhere for alterations. Not sure if it is the case for every seamstress - but, mine in particular, was only in the shop every other Saturday which made it extremely difficult to plan when I could come in for fittings since I live over an hour away. They told me once I was assigned to a seamstress I couldn't switch (which I get) but I wish the availability was more flexible.
I called Sandra's to ask if I could change a time of one of my fittings and they told me I had to call the seamstress myself on her cellphone to change the time. Just in my opinion, pretty unprofessional you a client run around to try get in contact with your employee.
At my final fitting, I changed my mind about having a sheer piece of fabric placed in the cleavage area of my dress and asked for it to be removed and she told me I could just cut it out myself the day of. Obviously wasn't comfortable with that so I ended up calling the next day and asked them to have her remove it - thankfully they did.
And lastly, when my mother-in-law dropped off the guy's tuxedos after the wedding, she said the lady she was leaving them with was rude to her. Just a little bit of a disappointing experience.
This appointment felt like a job interview and that I had to live up to their expectations instead of mine. Our sales clerk was fine until she said 3 times "she does not make commission," almost to the point where it not believable. Our sales clerk was pulling the right styles and I did really like a dress but the sales at the end was so pushy it was a HUGE TURNOFF. It was like a time-share presentation at the end. But then, I could not get them to write anything down so I could remember what she was presenting to me. I even question if their "fire-proof" vault was that - it just looked a room with paneling to me. They offered to bring a loaner in for me, which I thought was nice but they did not listen about being concerned about the size, I was asking - I asked for a larger size since I knew the smaller one would not give me a good idea of how it would fit on me. I've been telling everyone about my experience here and while others might have a different one. I've certainly had better service and no-pressure sales from other boutiques.
The entire experience from start to finish was quite honestly a joke. I would give a 0 if I could. I had called days prior to my appointment to see if they had a specific collection in stock, because it shows online that they claim to have it, they said "yes, we have the wilderly line." I arrived and I told them I was excited to try on the wilderly line and they danced around the fact that they didn't actually have it.
They brought out old atrocious gown one after the next. Each dress they brought was worse than the last. The girl helping me seemed sad, and tired which didn't exactly make for an exciting time for me, which it should be.
Near the end of my awful time there the owner/manager Susan came in to my room and talked so fast and so much because she was dancing around the fact that they again didn't have what they claimed they had. I just wanted to get out of my dress and she wouldn't leave the suite so I could undress and leave. Has no sense of social queues.
The only reason I booked my appointment here was to try on this collection. Susan is unprofessional, the lighting in this place will make you feel so far from pretty, the dresses are dated and lack any sense of fresh bride vibes, oh and they keep the door to the back room wide open so all of the other girls working kept looking in to my suite as I was dressing/undressing. Talk about unprofessional. Shouldn't there be a curtain, some privacy? Yes, the answer is yes.
Save yourself the time and energy. There are far better places in the area that you can spend your time and money and be treated like the special bride that you are.
I had 2 AWFUL experiences here. When looking for my own wedding dress in 2017 the service and prices were awful (that hasn't changed). The owner treats her workers terribly and the workers aren't helpful what-so-ever. I had to buy a brides maid dress there 2 years later and the girl did a TERRIBLE job measuring me for a size and she was not helpful when I asked her advice. My dress was TOO SMALL and of course they don't care about that after I paid $200 upfront. Wish I could give them less than 1 star. Save yourself the trip and money....
I had a wonderful experience at Bridals By Sandra. Samantha was my consultant and she was so easy to work with. She wanted to hear my honest opinion and helped to find my dream dress! I would highly recommend asking for her!
Bridal by Sandra is a beautiful salon to go to for all the Brides looking for a GORGEOUS wedding dress! I bought my dress there 1 year before our big day and WOW! It was stunning! My husband cried when he saw me the first time in my dress and veil!
The staff at Sandra's is wonderful, helpful, and easy going! They make picking a wedding dress effortless!
Thank you Bridals by Sandra for helping me find the wedding dress and veil of my DREAMS! It fit me beautifully and it captured my venue and filled my vision of finding "THE" dress!
I highly recommend any Bride trying to find their wedding dress to go to Bridals by Sandra- they fit any budget and have an amazing selection! I promise you will not leave empty handed!!
My dress was absolutely stunning and exactly what I was looking for. Kelly, was patient, helpful, and thoughtful as I tried on dress, after dress, after dress. I’m pleased with the professionalism of this bridal shop and their patience each and every time I visited.
I highly recommend Bridals By Sandra. My mom and aunt both got their dresses here as well. Kelly helped me to find the perfect dress and accessories. She made the experience so memorable and special. I loved my dress and got so many compliments! I was so happy I went here!
My dress was beautiful and I could not have received more compliments on our wedding day. I bought my dress in August and then found out in December we were pregnant. They did a great job altering the gown to my growing body and were still able to keep the look of the gown!
My Daughter was excited to try on gowns & I knew Sandra’s was STILL the best and largest and oldest store around this area! I got my gown there for my wedding in 1990! I was shocked to see a few of the same girls working there! It’s clear they love what they do & Ally is really excited to wear her beautiful Sottero & Midgley gown!!! They helped with the entire wedding suggesting Navy for her girls & we are really excited! I even trust them to find me a beautiful gown!
I’m not an easy fit but their gowns for Moms aren’t old lady like & I know I too will have another Bridals by Sandra gown in my closet in a few months! We loved the tour of their salon & the fact they press the gowns for free the week of the wedding! Susan said they always did that but i must have forgotten! It’s worth the drive to Nazareth! Glad they are still there for Ally! Thanks Larissa & Susan for making our day so special.
Bridal by Sandra had the exact dress I wanted for my special day I also found out I was pregnant and they helped with my dress to make sure it was perfect for the day of my weddings they were wonderful!
My bridal consultant was Alyssa, she was absolutely amazing! My best friend was in from out of town and we planned a trip to “browse” wedding dresses. Alyssa found a perfect dress in my size and it was as the 2nd dress I tried on! Im usually very picky and indecisive so it was awesome I was able to find something I loved! Thank you so much Alyssa for all your help! 😄
My negative comment would have to be my alterations. I never got to see what the bustle would look like finished. The dress was steamed and ready for me to pickup by the time the bustle was done. I was nervous about not trying it on again with the bustle but the staff assured me it would be okay. As soon as my husband and I walked into the reception my bustle snapped! Luckily my wedding coordinator was able to sew my dress up but it was a nightmare and took so much time away from my reception. My first dance pictures looked terrible with my dress fallen out. Ladies, do not leave the salon without making sure your bustle is correct!!!
Shopping for my wedding gown was the best experience! The dressing room was huge compared to others, plenty of room for the 3 people I had with me to sit in throughout the process. However, I should have been more adamant about the alterations. It seemed like the seamstress was afraid to take the dress in as much as it needed to be in the bust. Instead, she convinced me that adding cups would be fine. It made it better but I didn’t love the look. I know, my husband knows, and everyone else knows my boobs are small lol. I didn’t need the extra “volume”. Plus, because the dress was not flush against my body as it should’ve been, there was movement throughout the day, causing chafing. Not fun the next day. Plus, anytime I put my arms up, it felt like I was coming out of the dress. I didn’t but it felt like it, which was not fun. Just be sure you stick with your gut and get what you want!
I didn’t have much luck with bridesmaid dresses at Sandra’s. If you’re thin with small boobs it isn’t a problem. However, 3 of my 4 bridesmaids are very well endowed and couldn’t even try dresses on because they didn’t have any in an appropriate size. They also couldn’t guarantee they would be able to order one. I couldn’t ask the girls to pay for something they couldn’t even try on, just hope for the best. We went elsewhere.
I would definitely recommend Bridals by Sandra to future brides to find their dream dress. I had a wonderful experience there when I originally tried on and purchased my gown. It was beautiful and I definitely had my "bridal moment" when I said "yes to the dress"! Unfortunately, there were some mix ups with my alteration appointments and with my veil not noticed until the 4 days before my big day! The staff was very helpful and accommodating throughout these potential dilemmas to a very stressed bride and mother of the bride! Everything worked out and turned out absolutely beautiful! I was very happy with the overall look and feel of my gown on my big day!!!
I was married on October 27th 2018 and I purchased my dress from Bridal's By Sandra. My dress did not have sleeves which is what I wanted and I was able to order extra lace and Terry who is the seamstress there made me beautiful 3/4 inch bell sleeves and I absolutely love my dress. This bridal salon will literally bend over backwards for you just to make your dreams come true. I am still getting compliments on my dress. I would highly recommend going to Sandra's. Everyone is so friendly and Angela is an absolute doll.
My experience at Bridals by Sandra was awesome and my bridal consultant, Kelly, was amazing! When I went, I had a look in mind but also wanted to try on every style just to be sure. I tried on over 20 dresses in the style I thought I wanted, until I realized I didn’t actually love it. Once I ruled that style out, I tried on one to two dresses in all the other styles possible. Kelly was super patient throughout the process. Once I picked the dress, she was great at pairing different veils with it. She found one that matched so perfectly, you would think that they were meant to be sold together! After I picked the veil, she brought out a headband, which matched perfectly and tied everything together. Once my dress was in, she set up an appointment so that I could try it on and pick out bridesmaids dresses. She was very helpful in finding a dress for my bridesmaids that looked stunning on each and every on of them! The seamstress I worked with at Sandra’s was excellent. She did a great job at making the alteration I needed. The bustle she created looked great and many people commented on how well it was done. She was also able to take a piece of a blue pocket square that I brought of my dad’s, and sew it into the bottom inside of my dress, so that when I lifted the bottom up, the heart was sewn inside. The rooms at Sandra’s were also vey large compared to other place I had visited. When I brought my bridesmaids to get their dresses, we were in a room the size of classroom, which was awesome!
I have mixed feelings on Bridals by Sandra.
First the positives:
Erika, my bridal consultant was AWESOME! She listened to what I was looking for an was able to pull the perfect dresses to try. She was patient and listed to my vision. She also went above and beyond when picking out the bridesmaid dresses which included contacting the dress company to find out if they had added the color I was looking for to their collection. She was great!
The seamstresses were top notch. My dress was altered to perfection and fit like a glove. They listened to any changes I wanted and ensured I was happy with every detail of the dress. It looked perfect.
The seamstresses and Erika deserve a 5 star review, they were excellent.
The negatives:
The reason for the 3 star review was their customer service at the front desk/phone answering. If I could give them a 1 star here I would. The team at the front desk was always rude and unwelcoming. Every phone call or question I had was a hassle to them. I had trouble getting alteration appointments for myself, Mom and bridesmaids. They always made me feel like a nuisance and I would like to think I was pretty easy going. If I had realized this day one I would have never purchased my dress here. (I had 3 fittings and one dress change I made 3 weeks out). It made the dress process stressful.
For a dress store that has been around for so long I was very surprised at this customer service. After my experience, I asked other individuals in the area that have visited this location, to my surprise they had the exact same comments about the front desk/phone.
The other negative was the salon was very 1980s. While the dresses are current with trend, the Bridal salon doesn't give you that glam feel like some of the other locations I visited. The location could use a refresh.
Alyssa was amazing!!! As was the young girl with my final fitting, I am so sorry so much was going on. I forgot her name ... I know it started with and "N". In between that was awful. The seamstress I was set up with, Melissa was so rude every time I came in, it ruined my experience and i pretty much dreaded coming in every next time because of how rude she was. I stood up to her rudeness at the last time when she made her 20th rude comment. It was miserable and I warn everyone I know that is getting married to now make sure they do not have her as a seamstress if they decide to go with Sandra's for their wedding dress. Up until the point of meeting her my experience was great. Unfortunately, most my time ar Sandra's involved her. I advise future brides to make sure they request not to have her as their seamstress... or go somewhere else to get your dress fitted, so you don't have to deal with her while planning for your special day. If not for her and ruining special moments, I would give a 4!
Angela was so helpful through the process of finding the perfect dress! Finding the perfect dress was a process for me, it was far from the first dress I tried on. Angela helped me narrow down what I liked/didn’t like and she was so knowledgeable on customizations and alternations that could be made to each dress. I would highly recommend Bridal’s by Sandra and working with Angela.
My sister and I had a great time at this store! They have dressing rooms big enough for all my girls to come back and see me in my wedding gown. They carry the best designers and even let me try on gowns made from Randy on the Say Yes To The Dress TV show! Not my price range but I love my gown even more and the prices here aren't as high as you'd think. You can get a dress under $1,000 at this store and when I was in HS I felt only the rich kids shopped here. My styler was also getting married and she was so helpful.
I chose to look at Sandra’s because both my mother and mother-in-law purchased their wedding gowns there and I felt it would be keeping of the tradition. I have also had positive experiences there shopping for prom gowns. After my first appointment at Sandra’s I knew I wouldn’t have to look anywhere else. The consultants are efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed, pressured to purchase, or swayed to try something I didn’t like. It was ordered promptly and was delivered in less than 3 months. They allowed me to “visit” my dress as often as I liked to try on accessories, etc. Melissa did a fantastic job altering my intricate lace and beaded dress. She was professional, skilled, and efficient. The alteration price was very reasonable. I also chose my bridesmaid dresses from Sandra’s. They were patient and accommodating with several appointments and a total of 8 bridesmaids. They offered a discount on bridesmaid dresses since I purchased my gown there. If my wedding budget doubled I would still go to Sandra’s to find a wedding gown. They made me feel important and recognized in every interaction. Thank you for such a positive experience.
I got my wedding dress and all the bridesmaids dresses from here for a September 2018 wedding. The process was painless and there were no issues at all. I got to try on my wedding dress in a large private room where my bridesmaids and mom could sit. They let us bring champagne. The fittings and alterations were easy and quick. My bridesmaids all found dresses there too. They have a wide selections of both wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses at affordable prices. The bridesmaids dresses were <$200 and my wedding dress budget was <$1000, but I tried a beautiful one on that was $600. Everything came in on time and as ordered. Everyone who helped throughout the multiple visits was helpful but not overbearing.
My dress: I showed Angela photos of what I was looking for and her options were right on point. She wasnt pushy at all and made me feel so comfortable!
BM dress: I found my BM dresses online and Angela had one in store, not the color I wanted, but had the girls try it on to ensure the style looked okay. The girls complimented her once we left saying they had a great time!
Alterations for both weren't as pleasant. She is there Thursday and Saturdays which made it hard for some to get in. My dress needed a lot of tweaks and if it wasn't for my mom telling me to move around in my dress and sit down, dance, etc. I would've stepped in and out of it and it wouldn't have fit. I believe my dress and my BM dresses sizes were ordered bigger than they should've been.
One of my bridesmaids was able to take her dress over a month before the wedding, I'm not sure how/why she was able to take it because on the wedding day we use 2 different types of steamers to get all the wrinkles out.
A different bridesmaid said the alteration lady was rushing and didn't have her move around at all to make sure the dress fit properly, she got home and walked around and the straps were falling off her arms. She had her Aunt alter it to make it fit better.
I'd also like to comment a few times I walked in I didn't get greeted, the receptionist was talking to another customer but I still feel that good customer service personnel should say "Hello, I'll be right with you" instead of having us awkwardly standing and waiting.
I highly recommend working with Angela and also to ENSURE you feel comfortable in your dress before signing off the alteration slip! Remember to bring your shoes, because they do not remind you to.
Thank you
I had a great experience at Bridals by Sandra. My bridal consultant was amazing and very knowledable about the dresses that they had. I wanted a very specific dress and I was getting discouraged because none of the other bridal stores carried what I wanted. When I got to Bridals by Sandra I was relieved when my bridal consultant picked a dress that was very close to exactly what I wanted. As soon as she put the dress on me I knew it was my dress. The only negative that I have to say is when my sister and I went to pick up her maid of honor dress the girl at the font desk could not be so bothered to help us. When she brought the dress out for us to see it was dragging on the floor and she did not tell us to take the tag off of the dress prior to flying (My wedding was a destination wedding). So when my sister took her dress out of the plastic when we arrived she had a ink mark on her dress. Luckily it was in place where it wasn’t obvious but that was very frustrating. Other than that it was a great experience.
I had the best experience at this bridal boutique. It was the first place I went to and the owner stopped by and knew exactly what dress I had envisioned. I tried on only six dresses and cancelled my other boutique appointments. Very professional and prompt!
I had my appointment on Friday evening with Alyssa. She was super helpful asking what I like and don’t like and pulling a variety of dresses for me! I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far!
It was such a wonderful experience! I knew what I wanted in a dress and they accommodated me. Angela was such a big help and great with my family and future mother in law. This is the place to be when finding the gown that’s just right for you and your personality. Can’t wait to see my customized gown.
Great staff and reasonable prices!
I had an amazing experience at Bridals by Sandra. Larissa was a huge help and was so patient and it felt like she knew what I was looking for before I did! They just make you feel welcome and really listen to what you’re looking for and very respectful of your budget as well. I very highly recommend going here for your wedding gown. I’ve already made an appointment to return with my bridesmaids for their dresses!
I had an awesome experience with Bridals by Sandra. My bridal consultant was Alyssa. She was so nice and down to earth and did not put any pressure on me whatsoever. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a variety of gowns that I wouldn't have picked out myself, but loved! The last dress she brought out for me was THE DRESS! I asked her to bring something different and she had the most perfect dress for me. I was a little hesitant with getting my dress altered through them because of all of the negative reviews. Let me just say that I had an amazing experience with my seamstress. she calmed my nerves and did an AWESOME job on my dress. She thought outside of the box and put an elastic band on the inside to make it tighter on my waist without having to take the dress in and it was a lifesaver! She did a beautiful job with my dress, there wasn't a single thing I did not like. My dress had a of layers which made for a complicated bustle. She did such a good job on making it still look beautiful while bustled. I had made a separate bustle appointment since my mom was coming from out of state and they really took the time to go over everything to make sure we understood how to do it the day of. She even helped calm my moms nerves and was so sweet to her. Their customer service is just one of the many reasons why I will continue to recommend Bridals by Sandra to anyone getting married!
Had a great experience, found my dress on the first date! My consultant listened to everything I had to say. I believe her name was Deb. Alterations were great and did everything i wanted. My only complaint was when we went for bridesmaid dresses the girl who helped us, really wasn't any help and i felt like she could care less about being there. I went back another time and got the same impression. That is my only negative, but definitely recommend Sandra's
I had such an amazing experience. I pictured in my head what I wanted, and when none of the dresses were right, Larissa brought me dresses that I never would have dreamed of trying. The first dress she brought was the one! A few weeks later she helped me pick the perfect veil. She's amazing!
I had a great experience with Bridals by Sandra. My bridal consultant, Alysse, listened to what I wanted and chose dresses for me that were spot on. I ended up going with a dress that I never would have chosen on my own, but she had a good feel for what I liked and brought me a real winner. I love Bridals by Sandra because the whole appointment is in a private room (unlike a lot of chain bridal stores) and the personal attention goes a long way. Alysse was very professional, extremely good at her job, friendly, and not pushy at all. A great experience and highly recommend it!
Absolutely awful. Rude and very unhelpful. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They sure know how to ruin someone’s day with their lack of customer service and unfriendliness.
Amazing!
I just got back from a mother-of-the-bride appointment at this salon. I must say that some of the reviews I had read had me a little nervous, but my experience was nothing but positive. They have one of the better selections for mother-of-the-bride dresses, and from what I could see, a very good selection of bridal gowns as well. Larissa, my consultant, was very sweet and helpful. This was overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend this bridal salon.
My experience at Bridals by Sandra started off so well but definitely went downhill from there. After having a terrible experience at David's Bridal trying to find the perfect dress, Angela took almost 2 hours to help me find it. The dress was absolutely perfect and I was so excited. However, when I went back the next time to find my headpiece, I was promised by the staff that Angela would be with me at every appointment. That was not the case. We were given a young girl that had no idea what she was doing. Once we complained and asked to have Angela at our next appointment, they made us another appointment for the following week with Angela. When we showed up a week later, we were given the same young girl (who we later found out was Angela's sister). Not knowing what to do, we wandered around the store and finally the owner saw us and agreed we should have been given Angela. She was more than helpful and I found a great headpiece. All of my fittings after that, I arrived about 5-10 minutes early and each time they were running about 30 minutes late. The seamstress was very friendly and I absolutely loved my dress but the customer service really needs some work.
Unfortunately I just felt like another transaction to Bridal's By Sandra. I really wanted to like this salon as my mother in law and many aunts got their gowns there. so the story is....my gown came in about 6 months before my wedding date and since I didnt want my fittings too early I waited until about 2 months away for my first fitting thinking everything was fine. I put the dress on for the first time and it's HUGE! They ordered the wrong size. I double checked and I signed for the correct size and the "wrong one came in". It's too bad they did not check when it came in early that the size that came matched the slip and there would have been enough time to get a new one in time. They also suggested I order a belt for $150 and then it came with a belt anyway. So during the alterations they assured me that everything would be ok and there wasnt enough time to get a new one in. They did very nicely not charge me for the alterations to rebuild the bodice and they also bought the second belt back as I definitely didn't know it came with one already. for my second fitting I waited for an HOUR to see someone! standing there half dressed with my grandmother and sister, because a nice but clearly new employee tried to help me into my dress but didn't know how to button it up and they were running really late. In the end it was all ok and the gown was beautiful and I got so many compliments on it but I just wish that my entire experience was a little bit more positive.
I bought my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, and flower girl dresses with Sandra's. Deb Z. helped me find my dress and I would recommend her to anyone. I told her what I wanted out of a dress and I ended up going with the first one she gave me. They were also fantastic and helpful with bridesmaids dresses and treated the little flower girls beautifully. Their seamstress was a little rude, but overall I would use them again.
The entire team at Sandra's is wonderful to work with! I bought my dress here, as well as my bridesmaids and my mothers dress. When it came to picking my dress this was a day I waited for and dreamed of for a long time. Sandra's made it so special for me and knew exactly what I was looking for! As for my mother, she had found a dress she really liked at a different salon but didn't want to order it through them. She came to Sandra's and showed them the dress and they were able to get it in for her. Again, everyone did an amazing job and Bridals by Sandra is the place to go!
If there was an option for 0 stars, that would be my pick.
I ordered 10 tuxedos for my wedding and absolutely everything was wrong with them. None of the tuxedos fit (pants being too long, jackets too small, sleeves too long, etc). The lady helping us remeasured everyone and assured me (the bride) and the groom that everything would be fixed and we could pick up the correct fitting tuxedos the following day. One of the groomsman picked up all of the tuxedos and once again there were nothing but problems. The grooms jacket had a hole in it, Father of the brides shirt was so big he was unable to wear it, another shirt was unable to be buttoned all the way, the pants were "tailored" and the seams were coming out, the best mans vest was so big it had to be pinned and the shirts just looked dirty. At this point it was too late to try and exchange the tuxedos so we made do with what we had.
After returning the tuxedos and complaining to the staff, (the return window of time was between 10a - noon, unheard of, yet another way to attempt to get more money from their customers) the woman helping us said, with a complete attitude, the owner would call the groom later that day. That was 2 days ago. I understand that things go wrong but how a business takes responsibility for their error, says a lot about professionalism. In this case, the employees are rude and arrogant, nasty old ladies that think because they work in the fashion world, that somehow they are RuPaul! It's ok to be confident, but that requires you be good at your job! This behavior doesn't make you anything other that ignorant. We have instructed the entire bridal party to dispute the credit card charges as we did not get what we paid for. This all could've been avoided by a call back and apology!
Before I explain why I didn't give a full five stars I just want to say that I have had a fantastic experience at Sandra's for my own wedding dress and would still recommend Sandra's to anyone in the area who is shopping for one. During my appointment, they could see I wasn't finding what I was looking for and they spent as much time with me as I needed. They even started grabbing bridesmaid dresses and putting them on me to help me find the style I was looking for. One I did, they helped me design a custom dress through Casablanca and there are no words to truly express how beautiful this dress is. They worked everything down to the last detail and did not stop until I was happy with it. The alterations were somewhat expensive however they were done very professionally. The customization itself was more than affordable. My dress came in very quickly which gave me plenty of time to make all the changes I wanted to make. Their service was very reliable and knowledgeable. I have one complaint however and fortunately it was only one instance but it was pretty bad. I have a bridesmaid who is well above the sizes that Bill Levkoff offers. I went with her, they measured her, I tried on the bridesmaid dresses for her to look at as they did not have anything close enough to her size for her to try on. Anyway it went fine and she picked one. The dresses came in and due to the high price I paid for my alterations, I decided to take the dresses home and have a friend alter them for free. The workers at Sandra's, however, failed to warn me that my friend's dress was ordered in the maximum size bill levkoff makes the dresses and that they were well aware it would not fit her. They told me all along they were planning to customize her dress to make it so it fit her. None of this was communicated to me and just to reiterate, I was present during this whole process. So we take the dresses, assemble the bridesmaids and head to my friends house where we then slip the dress over my friends head. Much to my dismay, the dress obviously has no hope of closing. This creating a very awkward and embarrassing situation for myself and my bridesmaid. The friend who offered to alter the dresses for free unintentionally made a big deal out of the situation which made the whole thing a lot more awkward. I know that last part isn't Sandra's fault but you can understand how bad all of us felt during this whole encounter. I then called Sandra's to explain my outrage where they told me everything I explained earlier. I complained because I thought altering her dress there was going to cost over 1oo dollars. She laughed at me and said "oh no, it will only be like 50-60 dollars" Well my bridesmaid and I arrived at Sandra's to have the dress altered and she whips out a bill for $100! and I found out later that didn't include her hem! she went back for another apt after that that I wasn't there for and they gave her ANOTHER bill! this dress cost my friend over $400 which, I'm sorry, is just ridiculous. She paid more in alterations than what the dress is worth. They even made her pay a higher price because she is a larger size. Like I said, I have had a mostly positive experience but I have to say this: Bridesmaids beware.
I went to Bridals by Sandra this past weekend in hopes of finding my dress for my big day. It was my first time shopping for a dress so I was extremely excited for my appointment. When I walked in the young girl at the desk took all my information and told my sister in law and I to go in the gallery room until a consultant was available. After waiting in the gallery for about 20 minutes, an older woman informed me that they did not forget about me that it would be only a couple more minutes. I said fine and continued to look at the dresses. It got to the point where we were sitting in the gallery at the table waiting for someone to help us. I looked at my watch and it was 2:45pm…my appointment was at 1:30pm. I walked up to the front desk which was packed with customers. After waiting for another 10 minutes to be helped the same woman who confronted me in the gallery asked if she could help me. I informed her that I would love to be helped especially since I had an appointment over an hour ago. At that point she quickly became apologetic and informed us that a room just opened for me and took us back.
She then introduced herself, her name was Sue, a relative of Sandra. She informed us that a lot of the brides who had appointments before me ran late, one bride was from Philadelphia (which I didn’t understand why that mattered or made a difference?), and that one bride made an appointment for herself but also brought her best friend who was also a engaged and wanted to try on dresses even though she didn’t have an appointment. I understand that people run late and things happen that you can’t control as a business, but what I don’t understand is why didn’t someone have the curtesy to call to ask me to come in later or tell me when I checked in that the shop was running behind schedule???
After Sue asked me some questions about my wedding she introduced me to my consultant. The actual appointment was okay nothing special….I found one dress that I liked but it needed a little something more. I asked my consultant to pull dresses that were similar. She proceeded to tell me that the shop didn’t have anything like the one dress that I liked and that Sue was coming in to see me before I left. I tried on three other dresses and Sue still never showed up. I decided that since the shop had nothing else to offer it was time to leave. My consultant gave us a tour of the shop and before we left she asked another woman at the front desk for my form with all my information. The woman had no clue where it was and I had to give all the information AGAIN.
I can say that my experience at Bridals by Sandra was a complete disappointment! The shop needs to work on their organization and customer service. They could use to improve on the selection of their dresses because every single one my consultant brought in looked the same.
Advice to other brides….IF you’re a bride trying to go to multiple bridal shops in one day make this shop your last appointment so you don’t have to stress about time!!
I had been to several places trying to find my perfect dress. It was now 6 months before my wedding and I found it. All the dress needed was some more bling. I thought I'd look at one more place to be sure that was the dress I wanted. That's when I went to Bridals by Sandra. My mom got her wedding dress there and my grandma. So I trusted them. I found a beautiful dress there that had the bling and lace I wanted. However, it had thick straps that did not flatter my chest. Before purchasing the dress, I talked to the owner about getting them removed. She promised that that was possible and the dress could be strapless as well as have a low back. (That was my must have in my dress.) We purchased the dress that day after having those promises. When I went in for my first fitting, the seamstress was very unsure about the alterations. She said she would do them but we left feeling unsure. When my father called to express our concern, we were asked to come in to meet with the owner and my seamstress. Mind you, we had already paid for the dress ONLY because the alterations were promised. While meeting with them, I was persuaded to keep the dress. Even though alterations wouldn't be as I was promised. We were also nondirectly told we wouldn't get our money back. I had the perfect dress that fit perfectly at another store, all it needed was bling.
They told me the dress would need to be extra tight around my waist and chest to keep the dress up being that it was strapless. I was fine with that but expressed my concern about having a muffin top being that I have broad shoulders.
When I came in to try my dress on TWO months before my wedding, I had a muffin top. The only other option was to bring the back up. (Which at this point, what else am I going to do!?)
2 weeks before my wedding We brought the back up but the dress still wouldn't stay up. It was impossible to make the dress tighter around my waist. We decided the only thing we could do was add spaghetti straps. (If we were going to have to add spaghetti straps, why didn't we leave the back low like I ultimately wanted!?)
My dad picked up my dress a few days before my wedding on June 3rd.
I trusted the dress was fine and didn't look at it until the day of. When I opened the bag I noticed holes in the lace. They had always been there as the dress was off the rack. We were told those holes would be fixed and lose beads tightened when the dress was steamed. One hole was in the back of my dress by my butt. There was another hole by my right hand that was at the perfect spot where my finger would slip into it when I put my hand down. The other hole was around my ribs. That hole started out small. But by the end of the night, the hole grew far down my dress. I had to hold the lace against my stomach in order for it to not flop over. We won't even talk about the beads that fell off my dress when my mom zipped it up. I would 100% recommend my seamstress Anna. As she was amazing and tried to make good on the promises made my someone else. However, I wouldn't recommend the bridal store. I would have never ever bought that dress if I was told from the beginning the straps could not be removed while keeping the back fairly low. It was more stress than I needed. The one thing that should have been perfect on my wedding day wasn't.
Throughout my wedding planning process, we purchased the bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses from Sandras. My mother purchased her dress from Sandras and it was amazing to have the experience of selecting mine at the same shop. Everyone was wonderful. Andrea helped us when I selected my bridal gown and she helped me to see a vision from a dress that was not completely my taste. Terry was the seamstress that worked all the magic. She met with me multiple times and continued to alter my dress until it was perfect. Sandra's was reasonably priced, high quality, and great service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless experience :)
I said yes to the dress a few weeks ago. Briana was very helpful and helped me pick out the dress of my dreams!! It is stunning, and she knew exactly what I was looking for. I also ordered my veil, headpiece, and earrings there.
I had a great experience at Bridals by Sandra. I went there on a whim, 2 years before my wedding with no intention of buying a dress so early in the game. I found the perfect wedding dress that day and never had a second thought that I had found the best dress for me! They had a variety of dresses within my budget, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. Over the next two years, I stopped by countless times to try on the dress with accessories, etc. and they fit me in every single time. I ended up buying a beautiful belt and veil as well. I got measured for alterations and the dress was ready earlier than anticipated and fit like a glove. From the down payment to the final pick-up, I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone trying to find their wedding gown.
My mother and I both purchased our wedding gowns at Bridals by Sandra. My experience at Bridals By Sandra was excellent. I had gone to three other dress shops beforehand and just didn't seem the find what I wanted. The first dress I tried on at Bridals by Sandra was 'the one'. The thing I loved the most about Bridals was that the same consultant helped me and my mother from day one up until my actual wedding day. My consultant was there with me before my wedding, during my wedding, and at the reception to make sure that my wedding party and I looked perfect. I am so thankful to used Bridals by Sandra for my wedding gown and accessories because everything was fabulous!!!!
Alyssa is the best sales person I have ever had. She was so honest with me and my family in our search for the perfect gown. Not only did she help me find my dream gown, but she helped both my sisters and my cousin find their dream gowns as well! If you want good service then work with Alyssa.
After visiting multiple wedding dress shops throughout the Lehigh Valley area and being disappointed, I stumbled upon Bridals by Sandra. I was super hesitant to go here because of the horrible reviews i read but i am so happy i decided to go! I was helped by Alyssa and she was amazing! She listened to my wants and needs and helped me find my dream gown! She was super friendly and i don't think she stopped smiling the whole appointment. I really appreciated that she was super honest and did not try to sway my opinions about the dresses i was trying on! she made sure to stick to the budget and even brought in dresses that were well under budget. Towards the end of my appointment the owner (who i don't care to remember her name) came into the room and tried to push the sale. she came off as very fake and i was annoyed by her personality. even though i got agitated by the owner, alyssa ultimately made my experience fantastic and helped me find my dream gown! i would recommend Alyssa to anyone!
