Jen and her makeup artist were truly phenomenal to work with! I particularly appreciated that Jen was super flexible with her "minimums" required for purchase, something I realized after research that a lot of other companies are NOT flexible with. As someone who didn't have many bridesmaids who wanted hair or makeup done professionally, this was really important to me! It was a double bonus that she was so efficient AND did a great job. I wanted a full updo and loved that she "specialized" in those kinds of updos, but also does amazing hair when its down as she did for my bridesmaids! The makeup took a bit longer than anticipated (maybe 15-20 minutes) on the wedding day, but it was no problem at all and SO worth the time because I felt like she captured exactly what I wanted, especially as someone who wanted a more natural makeup look. Although driving to West Seattle for my trial was a bit out of the way for me, I really liked that I could book a trial before actually booking wedding services to see if I liked it - a lot of places build in the trial to their booking, but what if you didn't like them ya know? I loved Jen and her makeup artist so it didn't really matter, but the option to do a trial separate definitely gave me some ease when trying to decide who to book. Would 10/10 recommend Bride and Jen to everyone!!

Jen was amazing to work with. She made me feel beautiful from the beginning! I did a trial months before my wedding, but a few weeks before I was second guessing it. She squeezed me in her busy schedule and I am so happy she did - my wedding hair was an absolute dream. The other stylists & make up artist on her team are so talented, truly listen to what you are looking for, and ensure everything stays for the duration of the event. My bridesmaids loved their hair and make up!

Jen and her team are amazing! They listened to my feedback from my hair and makeup trial and I was LOVED how it all turned out the day off. I had a large amount of people to get through hair and makeup on the wedding day, but Jen and her team knocked it out of the park and had us done and ready for pictures on time! Amazing service! Made me look natural but amazing on my big day and I couldn't be more happy with my hair and make up. Not being for Seattle I was worried about hiring someone I didn't know, also Seattle prices were insane! But Bride and Jen were reasonable priced and I was able to book a trial with them a few days before to be reassured before the big day!

Jen and her team of artists did an amazing job at my wedding. We previously had done a trial back in November of 2019 and I knew I liked her immediately! Her pricing is also very very reasonable. Jen did my hair for the wedding and Katy Ott was my makeup artist. Both were absolutely fantastic. My bridal party at 8 and then additionally had two moms and they did our hair and makeup in a timely manner (actually finished 45 minutes-1 hour early!). Jen created a hair and makeup schedule that flowed from 9am-1pm. Jen also had two assists to help prep all the ladies (one for hair and one for makeup). Her timeliness allowed my husband and I to do first look pictures and get all of our photos done before the ceremony took place so we could enjoy cocktail hour after. My hair and makeup stayed the entire night which was super important to me since I didn't have them stay after to do touch-ups. Jen also didn't use a million bobby pins so it was easy to take out at the end of the night and Katy used amazing products on my skin that really completed my wedding look. I would highly HIGHLY recommend choosing Bride & Jen for your wedding hair and makeup.

I can't be more pleased with how my hair and makeup turned out on our wedding day. I provided Jen was a few "inspiration photos" of low buns in a very simple style which I like. Jen not only achieved the look perfectly, but made it look even better than the photos I showed her. I also brought my own hair piece and needed the bun to be in a way that my long veil would be easily attached/detached. Jen made sure every little detail was completed perfectly. Angela was our makeup artist, and I was a little hesitant at first. The only other time I've ever had my makeup done professionally was when I was 18, for our prom. I didn't like how that went. Needless to say, Angela's work was flawless. She kept my makeup fairly natural, as I don't tend to wear much makeup on a regular basis. Angela was able to carefully apply the right makeup to make me feel special and beautiful on my wedding day. 5 stars to this team for their professionalism, flexibility with Covid-19 impacts and quality of work. Thank you, Jen and Angela! You guys are amazing!

The Bride and Jen team worked their magic and made me feel relaxed, happy, and very grateful I hired them for my wedding day. They offered great ideas and suggestions and made me feel oh so special from day one during our trail session. It was a joy to work with truly wonderful people!

I am ecstatic that I went with Jen (and Katy) for my hair and makeup! Not only did they both do a superb job at making us look flawless, they really went above and beyond to make everything as effortless as possible. I reached out only a couple of weeks before my wedding and they worked hand and hand with me to book with them, to make a custom package as I didn’t have a traditional bridal party, and to ensure everyone was comfortable with the COVID policies. Plus, they were fun to work with and receptive to changes! Overall they made me feel comfortable and at ease, and I felt elegant and classy all day — I really couldn’t be happier!

I knew Jen was going to be amazing when she responded to my initial inquiry within minutes. Everything was set and squared away quickly and efficiently. Jen and Michelle showed up right on time. I chose not to do a trial, so after looking at a few pictures, they got started. Jen was super up front about what she thought was best for my look, and was right! Both ladies did an incredible job, and gave me exactly the look I wanted. Michelle was also able to add my mother and daughter in last minute. Jen did both of my girls’ hair also. I highly recommend Bride and Jen for an easy, fantastic hair and makeup experience. Jen even brought a great playlist!

Jen was amazing! I found her after my first beauty team fell through and I could not have asked for a more perfect match. I felt beautiful after my trial but I felt like a GODDESS on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to make me and my squad feeling beautiful. We were on the same page for my vision the whole time and it was magnificent.

Hiring a wedding hair and makeup service was the best thing I could have done for our wedding! Jen and Katy were amazing to work with. They are both very welcoming and fun women to be around. The trail was a lot of fun! They worked with us during all the changes happening because of COIVD and helped us remain as stress-free as possible during the process. A month before the wedding I switched up how I wanted my hair and Jen effortlessly created the look I was going for on the wedding day! Both Jen and Katy worked with last minute additions and cancellations in my wedding party and helped me stay relaxed throughout the day. I honestly can't say enough about this company! Jen is an amazing hairstylist and very nice to work with especially during the pandemic. She gave me exactly what I requested for my wedding hair. I think it is worth it to spend some extra money to have someone professional take care of me on my special day. I feel very fortunate to have found Jen.

Jen and her team were punctual, and since the trial date they were very attentive with all the details I wanted for my hair and makeup. On my big day, they worked very well with the schedule I desired, always on time taking care of myself and everyone in the bridal party. They are amazing, I was very pleased to have found them. :)

This lovely team did my hair and makeup & flower girl hair and makeup for our "Z'edding" and it was so amazingly perfect. They did exactly what I had hoped (the natural glam, extensions, individual lashes), and made my flower girl feel like a princess!! I cannot thank them enough for the flexibility and the rapid responses they provided.

Jen and team were such a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in their responses, friendly and quite professional. I don't typically wear makeup, but Katy made sure to make me feel comfortable and give me the natural effortless look I was hoping for. Jen is incredibly talented, and was quick to bring my vision to life, effortless beachy waves on dark hair--a feat, but she did it without a hitch. The trial was such a blast that when they came by the day of, it was like seeing old friends. I can't say enough positive things about this team, they made my experience unforgettable. Highly recommend if you are in the Seattle or San Francisco area.

Jen did mine and my bridemaids' hair for our wedding in 2019 and we all loved how our hair turned out! She showed up early, was so sweet and easy to work with, and was fast at working her magic. She really made sure my girls and I were happy with our hair, and our updos lasted the entire day. Even when she was just about done and I decided at the last minute to change where I split the front of my hair, she said it wasn't a problem and undid part of my updo to make it work. I was also thankful she brought her Bluetooth speaker and asked us if we wanted to play our own music (because I forgot to bring my own speakerto our hotel room). Jen is very reasonably priced and also offered a discount since our wedding was during the off season. I know times are kinda crazy right now with COVID-19. I can't imagine the challenges engaged couples and wedding vendors are facing, but I'm hoping things return to some sense of normal soon. If you are planning a wedding in the future, I highly recommend her for all your bridal hair needs!

I recently hired Jen and Kathy for my wedding day. They were both so kind and made the experience so much fun! I loved my hair and it held up amazingly! My makeup was beautiful but it did take some adjustments since it wasn’t quite what I pictured at first but Kathy was so nice and adjusted it for me throughout the process. I would recommend doing a trial if you have the time just so you’re on the same page for day off. I would recommend Jen and her team to other brides out there! 😊

Jen and Katy were the best. They were receptive to what I wanted, very communicative. During my trial, Jen made several adjustments until I was happy with the direction. She gave me advice on the size of a custom hair-piece I was making out of my grandmother’s wedding headband/veil. On the day, my hair turned out amazing. It was so beautiful. She also did my MIL’s hair, and she did a great job with her short bob, not having done a trial. Katy did an awesome job on my makeup and my MIL’s makeup. She listened to my concerns during the trial and on the day of, I didn’t need to think at all. I could just enjoy. She even gave me a little bag with emergency supplies in case I needed a touch- up later in the evening. My MIL’s makeup also looked so beautiful. Our makeup lasted though many tears and still looked perfect when I went to bed! I couldn’t believe it.

Jen was super easy to work with from scheduling the trial to the day of. She was extremely organized (which was great for a Type A bride like me), she listened and paired me with a make up artist that fit my style perfectly (thanks Katy!), and her hair styling abilities are amazing--she truly has a vision that she is able to bring to life, that really seemed to fit everyone perfectly no matter the hair type. She also travels to you which worked out perfectly for both trial and day of. You truly can't find anyone better!

Jen was great and very responsive. From the trial to the wedding day, she was great to work with. Jen was so quick and everyone looked beautiful! We had a big wedding party (9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 bride) and she managed to finish ahead of schedule which took out a lot of stress for me for the day. Everyone's makeup and hair still looked great even after hours of dancing!

The team at Bride & Jen is fantastic. Larissa knew exactly the hair style I wanted and captured it wonderfully. Sean masterfully created everyone's makeup looks and worked swiftly so we were actually ahead of schedule. Highly enjoyed working with the team.

Jen was the hair stylist at my best friend’s wedding a couple months ago. I loved her work so much that I decided to book her for my own wedding! You can tell that Jen has so much experience in the hair/bridal industry. I showed her a hairstyle that I wanted and she easily recreated it! She was very responsive to my emails and even my coordinator’s. Everyone in my bridal party and family has different types of hair styles and she was able to create a look that worked for each of them. She was perfect! I highly recommend her to everyone! Jen was awesome to work with. She's very responsive and it was a breeze coordinating a time to do a bridal hair trial. She even traveled to my house! She truly listened and had great suggestions on how to have the best hair for my wedding day, from morning pictures through dancing. I would highly recommend working with her.

Jen was amazing! She did a hair trial for me and wedding hair for both me and my wife. She was prompt in her communication, easy to book with, flexible, and so talented! For the trial, she met us at the house and was totally unfazed by the dogs barking and jumping and wanting attention. For the wedding, she met us at the hotel and even brought a candle and tunes to create a fun and calming atmosphere. We had only a vague idea of what we were looking for, and she took it all in and executed everything perfectly. A great balance of being open to feedback while also having an intuitive knowledge of what needed to be done. I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the night, and payment was easy too (we did it via venmo, though she provided several options). We would definitely recommend her!

Bride and Jen was amazing. Jen did my hair and Kinsley provided makeup. They drove up to meet me for the trial and were just wonderful. Both listened to what I wanted and the resulting hair and makeup could not have been more perfect. I feel completely confident booking them for the wedding!

Jen was amazing to work with! Most of us that had our hair done have very fine East Asian hair, so we're used to our hairdos falling out mid-event. We brought curling irons and hairspray to touch up later, but ended up not needing any of that--the hairstyles stayed put through 8+ hours AND it rained all day AND we all had baby's breath or crystal headbands and they all stayed put as well. Jen's work is just incredible. She also has good makeup artists in her team!

Great makeup and hair. Very flexible able to use all media to line up appointments. Were open to travel to your location. Loved that they used Venmo but was not real flexible on payment. Required final payment before work was finished and wasn't so sure for using them first time but in the end it all work great! Daniel Van and Jen Lim make a great pair for makeup and hair.

I had so much fun during my trial with Jen and Katy. It’s really important to me to feel comfortable on my wedding day, not worrying that my hair is coming undone or my face is getting sticky. These women delivered! My hair and makeup felt super stable and light. I pretty much forgot I was all done up for the rest of the day (noon to 8 pm). And I still looked great the whole time! For context, I’m white, fairly pale, with dark bronze ish fine, curly hair that holds a curl. I will be wearing glasses for my wedding. My dress is ornate, so Jen recommended an elegantly simple bun. I didn’t think my hair could do that, but she made it happen! I have medium skin — not super dry, not super oily — and Katy made it smooth and glowing. She did a great job of starting light and building up color based on my feedback. Plus, she was just lovely to have around — we chatted easily the whole 90 min. I booked them without hesitation at the end of the day!

Jen was absolutely amazing! I hadn’t booked anyone until pretty close to the wedding date, but she was easy to coordinate with and took initiative on also coordinating a makeup artist for myself and 6 others. She even helped me figure out the schedule for the day of. My mother-in-law is not a fan of getting her hair done, but by the time Jen finished everyone else’s hair my MIL had changed her mind and wanted her hair done, too- Jenice was accommodating and kind, working with each person to get exactly what they wanted. AND everyone looked amazing! I highly recommend her services.
