Loved working with Szuho at Bride to Be Bridal! This was the first bridal boutique I had visited when wedding dress shopping and I never had to visit another - Szuho has such a beautiful selection of dresses that it was easy to say yes to the dress at her studio!
Aside from her beautiful selection of dresses, Szuho was very respectful of budget. One of the first things she asked me was what my maximum budget was for my dress and only showed me dresses within that price range that matched the style of dress I was looking for. I really appreciated that as a lot of shops out there can sometimes show you dresses outside of your budget.
I also loved having that private studio experience at Bride to be Bridal! We were always the only ones there as it is by appointment only so you really get that 1x1 attention to make sure you have everything you need and are satisfied with your dress.
I received so many compliments on my dress at my wedding and everyone shared how beautiful they thought it was!
If you are a midsized woman or larger, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I had so much hope for this appointment. The reviews are wonderful, and I even checked to make sure that this shop is size inclusive, which the website says it is. But the second I walked in, I knew it wasn't going to go well. I went with my Maid of honor, and we had gone to one shop by this point so there was some point of reference. The stylist asked who was the bride and her face dropped when I said it was me and not my maid of honor. For context, I am a mid sized woman (size 14), and my maid of honor is significantly smaller than me not that it should matter. The only 2 questions the stylist asked me after that was my name, and what kind of dresses I was looking for. I said that I've been liking ballgown and fit & flare dresses with sparkles but I am willing to try sort of anything for the moment as I don't have much in mind but those are what I liked at the other appointment that we had had. She then only grabbed a line and ballgown dresses. I wasn't liking any of those, and had to ask her to bring me a fitted dress. When I couldn't get it on, she very frustrated, and it made me feel bad for even asking to try one on. It was everything I was worried about in trying on dresses. Since I hadn't really loved any of the dresses I had tried on I asked if I could try on one of the simpler dresses with no lace or anything, and each one I pointed to she told me was too small for me or wouldn't look good.
The stylist said very little the whole appointment and took multiple phone calls. I felt rushed. I maybe spent 40 minutes there out of what should've been closer to an hour long appointment. I'm glad this wasn't my first appointment because if it had been, then I don't know how I would continue to try on more as it was my worst fear for trying on wedding dresses.
Thankful for Chocho and her bridal boutique!
I tried to love it here because of the rave reviews I read prior to selecting this store. I was really excited because I saw that there would be a trunk show from a designer I had been eyeing for a while. Sadly I did not have a great experience. I'm not the type to ever write a negative review, nor am I a particularly sensitive person. But after giving it at least a week to see if I'd "get over it", the disappointment still lingers. From the moment I walked into the house (the store is in the lower level of the residence), I was met with coldness. There was no introduction by the owner, whose name I only knew because of a text message I received before my appointment telling me where to park. Aside from the lack of any form of friendly conversation, or any kind of conversation really, I was discouraged from trying on more than five dresses--I didn't encounter this at any other bridal store. Although I had a moderate budget in mind, I did express that there would be wiggle room if it was for a dress that I loved. And yet, whenever my mom, bridesmaid, niece or I pointed out a dress for me to try on, the owner would curtly say, "that's out of your price range". She reasoned that she didn't want me to fall in love with a dress I couldn't afford. I could maybe understand that rationale if it had been said in a less condescending way. For the dresses I did try on, there was no feedback from the owner. It was also like pulling teeth to get answers to my questions about the dresses' specifications.
Simply put we just did not feel welcome. I don't expect flattery or special treatment (though arguably many brides would prefer that), but I'd at least expect politeness in a customer service setting. I don't understand why my experience was so vastly different from previous reviewers--perhaps we weren't the preferred clientele for this store, or maybe she was having a bad day or had somewhere else to be. As much as I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, that doesn't change how embarrassed I was to have brought my mom there for her first dress shopping experience with me. Fortunately I was able to make up for it and go well over budget elsewhere.
I went to Cho Cho with a specific dress in mind and she delivered! The alterations were flawlessly executed, we had to move appliques and raise the waist line. It was like the dress was handmade for me!
WONDERFUL! We had the best experience here. It was our first shop and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! A beautiful home salon that was just stunning, a fantastic selection of dresses, and ChoCho was such a pleasure to work with! 10 for 10 recommend!
Absolutely amazing! The staff are incredible, so supportive and encouraging. Found the most amazing dress, at incredible prices. They have such a wide range, and really give you the time of day, unlike other places I went to. My stylist ChoCho was wonderful and made the experience so joyful. She even included me with free robes for my bridesmaids and me which was really sweet. Absolutely recommend going to Bride To Be Bridal.
My Mom and I had the BEST experience in this store yesterday. I had been to two other bridal stores previously and the experience I had at Bride to be Bridal was far superior.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with stylist/owner ChoCho. She is fabulous, thoughtful, knowledgeable and genuine. She didn’t pressure me and only offered genuine advice. I fell in love with the very first dress I put on at Bride to be Bridal. The dress is gorgeous, the price is reasonable, with lots of giveaways which is always nice, but most of all, the staff at Bride to be Bridal are nothing short of phenomenal!!! Thank you so much ChoCho for helping me feeling truly beautiful and like a bride!!!
I went to a few stores before I came to Bride to be Bridal and didn't have the best experiences. The staff were pushy and I always felt like I had a time limit.
When I visited Bride to be Bridal my experience was incredible. The girls recommended styles that they thought would suit my body type, always had time to chat through ideas. Extremely reasonable prices, excellent service and warm, genuinely caring attention. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable experience.
