Aaron and Leslie were beyond amazing. We looked at so many vendors for hair and makeup (a lot of other vendors in the Richmond area looked orange....), and BRIDEface lived up to all the reviews and pictures. All my bridesmaids were so impressed with how good it looked, and how quick hair/makeup was compared to other weddings. Not only was it the best hair and makeup, but they were both so kind and funny - it made a huge difference on my wedding day.

Working with Adam and Lara were an absolute joy! I loved their energy and enthusiasm. They were very upfront about what they needed from me and what I could expect from them. The trial session was one of my favorite parts of the wedding prep and having them on site simplified my day. My bridesmaids and grandma loved their work as well. They struck the perfect balance of being made up without looking over-done. They kept the day light and stress-free, their timing was impeccable, and when they were finished, I felt ready. It was such a relief to know I didn't need to figure out how to look myself when I could rest those worries in their capable hands

BRIDEface Richmond did hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my August 2024 wedding. I would highly recommend. Aaron was easy to coordinate with, friendly, and had helpful recommendations during the selection and booking process. Leslie did my hair and Jonye did my makeup and, oh my goodness, did they do such a wonderful job. At my trial run, Jonye worked with me to try a few different eyeshadows to find exactly the look I was going for, even though I didn’t have an exact picture to work with. I showed Leslie a few inspiration photos for hair but didn’t have a single design in mind, and she knocked it out of the park on the first go. Both were so fun to chat with, a pleasure to work with, and shared honest feedback, making sure that I was truly happy with my style before leaving the seat. I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally and was worried about looking makeup-y but I didn’t. Instead, my hair and makeup perfectly complimented me on my wedding day – it was still me, but the most beautiful version of me. Same for my bridesmaids. Aaron and Lara were awesome to work with and have great senses of humor. My bridesmaids and family had so much fun with them. I am not particularly well versed in makeup or hair styling and had great difficulty articulating/deciding the look I wanted or if it was even possible to create my vision. Aaron and Lara were both so patient with me at my bridal trial and were so receptive to any and all feedback I gave. Even when our timeline got a bit pushed back the morning of my wedding, they kept their cool and ensured everything went smoothly. Not only did they bring my vision to life, but after several full cries and dancing all night, my hair and makeup incredibly stayed in place! They truly make magic.

Simply, WOW! I cannot thank Aaron, Lara, Leslie and Jonye enough for getting everyone ready and looking beautiful! We had 8 people getting ready and they were efficient, professional, and very skilled! They were also a joy to hangout with all morning! I was so impressed with Lara and Leslie for managing all hair types and giving clear instructions beforehand of how to prep your hair which was very helpful! Aaron and Jonye were amazing with working with different skin tones and textures! They used airbrush foundation and it was so lightweight, longwear, and photographed beautifully! I cannot recommend them enough! BRIDEface is a preferred vendor from my venue so it made the process so seamless with knowing what they needed and where to set up! Leslie and Jonye were SO great to work with on my wedding day! Not only are they great at what they do, but they're just fun to be around! Exactly the energy you want on a big day :) Seven of us got ready in my hotel room wedding morning, and Jonye and Leslie were right on time with everything we needed. The moms were worried their hair and makeup wouldn't stay, but I assured them they were wrong! Everyone looked incredible all night long (even through the 35mph wind gusts during my outdoor ceremony haha!) I can't recommend them highly enough! You will be in great hands!

I really enjoyed working with Aaron for my wedding! He & his team are very professional & knowledgeable, and he brings a lot of fun & humor to each appointment. I love that BRIDEface does trial sessions and uses individual lash enhancements instead of 1 long set of lashes all the way across. For my wedding Aaron & Jonye did makeup for 8 bridesmaids, 1 mom, and me, and even with 10 people they finished ahead of schedule! They arrived right on time, got set up, and I didn't have to worry about a thing on my big day. I absolutely recommend BRIDEface RVA!

Aaron and Leslie were amazing! We hired them to do hair and makeup for myself, my spouse, and my spouse's mother and they knocked it out of the park. All three of us looked fantastic. I was particularly wary about makeup since I never wear any but Aaron worked with me and he put a look together that looked great while not being too outside my comfort zone. Also they were just as blast to have in our house before the wedding, they're hilarious!

Wowowowow where to begin! Jonye and Lara are a true dream team. I worked with Aaron and his team for my wedding a couple of weeks ago. Not only are they amazingly talented, but they are also super fun and made the day overall even more enjoyable. Me and all my bridesmaids are not big into makeup, but the team was very receptive of everyone's vision and what they were comfortable with. Aaron and Lara were exceptional artists for my wedding day! They helped coordinate both hair and makeup trials for the same day and executed the few small changes I requested for the day of without any issues! They traveled all the way out to Wintergreen resort to do the hair and makeup for myself, my matron of honor, mom, and mother in law for only a small mileage stipend which is more than reasonable!! They are both such wonderful charismatic people and I felt so comfortable with them both! I felt truly beautiful and can't thank them enough!

Aaron and his team are amazing! Not only did my bridal party have a blast getting ready with them the day of my wedding, they are also extremely talented. Every one of my bridesmaids said it was the best hair and makeup they had ever received for a special event. So happy with my choice! Aaron (owner) provided very clear, upfront and reasonable pricing in comparison to the other vendors I contacted. Jonye (make-up) and Leslie (hair) are fantastic at their craft. I had hair and make-up done for my 6 bridesmaids, mom, and sister-in-law. They made everyone feel and look absolutely stunning - including me of course! They were accommodating when I needed to reschedule my trial and were efficient and quick in their process on wedding day. As a bonus the ladies are quite a pleasure! Trust me, you'll want them in your bridal suite too... they fit right in and just add to the fun. I couldn't have made a better choice than BRIDEface.

I hired BridefaceRVA and Leslie Long for my December wedding. She was the absolute most wonderful person to work with. I contacted Brideface in June in a panic when realizing almost every hair/makeup vendor was booked or had outrageous requirements for a bridal party/services size. I had a small party (2 bridesmaids, MOB & MOG) for partial hair and makeup services for each. Aaron put me in contact with Leslie who immediately called me and walked me through what would be possible services with our amount of time. Being an out of state bride I had to schedule my preview looks months ahead of time, and Leslie was extremely accommodating, setting up a trial in her home. She stayed in touch afterwards leading up to the wedding day about who needed what. She did a beautiful job on my makeup and hair during the trial. Leslie was extremely flexible, and the fact that she could do hair & makeup services meant that she was a "one-man-band" for the day and EXACTLY what I was looking for given the few services my party needed. On wedding day, when I second guessed my hair choice, Leslie talked through the options with me and made magic happen for my short hair I never thought would look good in an updo. She transformed my sister and mom with makeup to the best versions of themselves. Leslie was cool, calm and collected, the absolute BEST person to have in my corner while everyone else was chaotic that morning. I am so thankful for her kindness and laughter. I will absolutely hire her again when I am in need of hair/makeup services in the RVA area.

Aaron and Lara did an awesome job. Not only are they both talented- they really listened to what each and every one of us wanted- whether that was more natural or more glam. Aaron also did my rehearsal makeup which was a great experience and a nice way to ease into the wedding weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing! I'm so happy I decided to hire BRIDEface for my hair and makeup. Aaron did the makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law. He also did some light color-correction on the groomsmen. Leslie did the hair for myself, the bridesmaids, and my mom. We were all so happy with how we looked! The makeup was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I've had my makeup done before and could barely recognize myself in the photos. I told Aaron I did not want that. He listened to all my concerns and gave me the best makeup I could've asked for. I felt so beautiful. The makeup held up all night and looked amazing in all the photos. Our hair also looked absolutely gorgeous. Leslie gave everyone unique styles based off our individual preferences and hair types. I switched up the style I had originally wanted (and gotten during the trial), but Leslie rolled with it and was able to give me an amazing up-do. Leslie and Aaron were also a blast to hang out with the morning of the wedding. They were so upbeat despite working 4 wedding that weekend.

Aaron did the makeup for myself, my mom, the maid of honor, and my two sisters-in-law for my wedding, and I cannot say enough good things! The makeup itself was beautiful, and exactly what I had hoped for - I knew from reading the reviews and seeing his work and the brands he liked to use that I was in good hands, and it did not disappoint! Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he is also a joy to spend time with. Everyone that got to sit with him on the morning of the wedding had a great time - he is so friendly, warm, and kind, and everyone was thrilled with their makeup. Communication through the whole process of booking, planning, a trial, and the wedding morning was easy and he went out of his way to be accommodating. We loved working with Aaron!

I contacted BRIDEface for hair services for my wedding and they recommended Lara. First - Aaron was extremely responsive and communicative. The one thing that I disliked was that they did not accept payment online. I am not sure if they do now, but it was a bit of a pain to send in a check (plus we weren't able to get the credit card points!) Anyway...Lara was amazing! She was super easy to schedule with and very flexible. I ended up having her highlight my hair before the wedding as well. It was really nice getting to build a relationship with her before the wedding day. She did a set of highlight a few months out to make sure that I liked them. I had her add some more and touch up my roots a few weeks out from the wedding - they were perfect! The wedding day hair trial was a great experience. She spent a lot of time making sure that it was what I wanted. I didn't want my fiancé to see my hair before the wedding so she took the style out and left a half updo since we were going out to dinner that night. I thought it was extremely thoughtful! Lara made me feel so fabulous on my wedding day! All of my bridesmaids that got their hair done by her also looked so beautiful! I was very impressed at how everyone's hair came out. I plan to continue to use Lara as my hairstylist from now on. She is wonderful!

I loved Aaron, Leslie, and the entire BRIDEface team. A friend gave me good advice to pick a fun hair and make up team that you vibe with, since they’ll be some of the first people you interact with on your wedding day. They were so amazing & fun, and made every single person in my bridal party (including the mom’s) look and feel beautiful. I can’t recommend them enough. I’d definitely use them again if I had another big event.

I worked with Lara for my wedding hair, and Lara and Aaron for hair and makeup at my bridal portrait session. Both were incredible! Lara was so communicative through the whole process, listened when I thought about minor changes, and remembered all the little details. She truly helped me feel my absolute best on my wedding day. I had the pleasure of hiring Aaron and Leslie for my bridal and bridal party hair and make up for my wedding on 4/22. Aaron walked me through his process during our trial, respected my boundaries, and advocated for choices I would not typically choose. He was so wise, he knew what would look good on my face and show up in photos. I got a constant stream of "you look like a super model" and still am... Which is all a girl wants to hear! I have never felt more beautiful. I felt truly seen in his make up chair. Leslie took great care of every head of hair put in front of her. If a preferred style wouldn't work right, she adapted it to my maids' hair and still delivered on style and hold. As for me, I jumped her with a different hair piece on the day of but she couldn't be flustered. My guests said our hair looked like it was out of a bridal magazine. All this is to say BRIDEface Richmond is not just a group of skilled artists but genuinely good and loving people. Their energy cultivated excitement and calm in my bridal suite. I look forward to going to them for all my event beauty needs in the future. Absolute professionals start to finish.

I cannot say enough about BRIDEFace Richmond - especially Aaron and Courtney, who took care of me, four bridesmaids, my mom, and two nieces on my wedding day. Before the big day - Aaron and Courtney did a great test run - which was also fun. After wearing my trial makeup, I realized something wasn’t quite right - and Aaron and I had a new game plan. It was easy as that. The day of the wedding, Aaron and Courtney showed up and set the tone for the day - which was easy, breezy fun. However, in addition to all my ladies- I had my 5-month-old son. So in addition to the fun - it was a little crazy. We were all getting ready in the kitchen - so not only were we dealing with tight spaces with folks grabbing snacks and what not- but also had to deal with us making bottles, me pumping, and whatever else was going on – the kitchen was hoppin! But Aaron and Courtney kept doing their thing and got us all done on time - despite the (good) chaos. Not only did they do job and do it well - but they really made the entire first part of my wedding day a total BLAST. Whether you are a hair and make-up pro - or have no idea what you are doing (me!), this team will not do you wrong. They are professional, fun, and will start your special day in the best way possible!

Where to begin?! First, let me just say that Aaron and Leslie are absolutely amazing. Not only are they highly talented at their craft, but they are both beautiful people inside and out. They are professionals at what they do, but even more importantly, getting ready with them was like getting ready with two dear friends. They made all of the girls feel at ease and laugh while we got ready. Aaron's make-up stayed all day through night long, and survived my ugly crying. My hair and my mom's hair is thick, heavy, and naturally kinky curly so I was skeptical about finding someone who can tame my hair for my special day. And boy, did we find her. Leslie not only mastered our hair, but also our bridesmaids hair which ranged from straight to extremely thick. I highly, highly, highly recommend BRIDEface Richmond.

I am posting this on Thanksgiving because one of the things I am most thankful for is booking BRIDEface for my wedding! I had Aaron do the makeup and Leslie do the hair for myself and my 5 bridesmaids. They are both PHENOMENAL! My ceremony was held at a English-Tudor style mansion and so I wanted enough glam to match that vibe, but I still wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. Let me tell you, Aaron understood the assignment! I felt like an absolute queen. Leslie gave me the most beautiful and ethereal bun - that somehow lasted through TONS of twirling and dancing and even a lightsaber fight! Both of them were also able to customize looks for each of my bridesmaids to give them each a super unique look. And they looked absolutely stunning! I could go on gushing about the quality and beauty of their work, but I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves. But the cherry on top of this incredible talent is what a joy it is to work with Aaron and Leslie. Both of them are such warm, kind, fun people who went out of their way to make me and my bridal party feel special. As anybody who has been part bridal party knows, getting ready the day of a wedding is a gauntlet. Why not spend it with people who will make you laugh, listen closely to your requests, and overall, just make you feel great about yourself? I very much underestimated the importance of the fact that hair and makeup is your first experience on your wedding day. It sets the tone for the day - will it be stressful and frustrating or will it be fun and relaxing? Luckily, my wedding planner did not underestimate the importance of this, which is how I ended up with BRIDEface! To begin, I coordinated with Aaron throughout the booking/scheduling process and he was probably the most helpful and responsive vendor I worked with. When my mom and mother-in-law both changed their minds last minute about getting their hair done, he quickly responded to slot them in. The moms' also insisted they didn't want makeup done professionally, but when the day rolled around, both had questions about what colors to use and how to apply their makeup, which Aaron not only answered, but offered to let them use his pallets. I am pretty sure he and my mom are besties at this point. Aaron even helped my brother put a bow tie on my stuffed potato (long story...). This is what I mean when I say he makes everyone feel special. With me, he took so much time during our trial - which he was very flexible about scheduling around my hectic work schedule - to explain how different colors or products would look. He walked through my various inspo pics and explained how that would translate in real life. And he was just really fun to hangout with throughout! Leslie was also an absolute gem. She too, spent time at my trial session helping my mom, who has very fine, curly hair, figure out how best to prep it for her updo. Leslie really proved she can work with any type of hair and make it look beautiful. Whether it was my mom's curly hair, my MIL's bob cut, my long, fine hair, or my bridesmaid's long, beautifully thick mane - Leslie can make you look like a goddess! In sum, when I look back at my wedding day, getting ready was one of the highlights. We had an absolute blast and we looked amazing - if I do say so myself ;) - and this was entirely due to the hard work and good vibes from Aaron and Leslie. Do yourself a favor and book them!

I cannot express how grateful I am for this team!! They really listen to what it is you’re going for, they are open to feedback and provide their expert opinion. From someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis, I felt beautiful and confident with the hair Leslie did and the make up by Aaron. They gave me advice at my trial to help me get ready for the big day and lifelong tips on skincare and hair. The girls, Jonny and Laura also delivered and gave my bridesmaids a natural and beautiful look as well. If you have any doubts, don’t. Aaron is not only a wizard with makeup, he is also a gem of a human. He is kind, accommodating, a good listener, and FUN. Aaron had us all laughing as we were getting ready for the ceremony — there is no awkward silence with him!

I could not have asked for anything better! I even added onto services at the last minute and Aaron and Leslie were able to accommodate it! The day of my trial it was a crazy wind storm in Richmond and on the way back to my car I was convinced my hair was going to be a wreck. It was NOT! It was still absolutely perfect and I knew right then and there it would be perfect on the day of the wedding as well! I had Aaron and Leslie doing services for myself plus some family and some friends and everyone absolutely loved them! The air brush is nice and light and the overall look was just perfection! I would recommend BRIDEface Richmond over and over again!

Aaron and Kelly did my and my bridal party’s hair and makeup and were absolutely wonderful! They were very nice and we had a lot of fun getting ready. They also did my flower girl who is seven years old and my mother. All the ladies loved how they looked. Some even said this was the best hair and makeup they’ve ever had.
