Had a great experience with brides and belles! They were so nice and truly listened to what I wanted and budget!
If I could give ZERO, I would. My bridal party and I went at the end of February to try on and purchase dresses.

lf for not taking a picture of the sign on the checkout counter that said “IF YOU ORDER BY TODAY, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DRESS BY APRIL 15”. For an end of June wedding, that’s tons of time!
We went out for drinks right after and they were calling us before we could finish our first round asking us to reconsider not purchasing the Rush Fee because the dresses might be in sometime in May. (Still fine for an end of June wedding.) My girls all said no - because they called each one individually while we were still at the table.
That Monday, I’m getting texts from my girls first thing in the morning that Brides and Belles is calling them AGAIN saying now they HAVE TO HAVE the rush fee because the dresses won’t be in until June 15 at the earliest.
So, I (the bride) call Brides and Belles and they immediately transfer me to JoAnne - the owner. She explains to me that they don’t make the dresses in house, the woman that helped us isn’t knowledgeable of their system, and that she gave my girls $25 off their dresses *without us having to ask* so “isn’t it only fair” that we pay the rush fee. She then asks me “did you understand what I’m telling you?”.
I tell her not to call my bridesmaids again and that I will pay the fee - JoAnne said it would be $10 per dress. I had 4 girls that needed Rush. 4x$10=$40... Now, lesson learned on my part, I gave her my card info over the phone to pay the Rush. I get THREE notifications from my bank. Brides and Belles $100, Brides and Belles $100, Brides and Belles $40.
I call back. I ask for JoAnne. I ask her why did she charge me $240 for the Rush fee. She tells me point blank “I DIDN’T.” I tell her about the notifications from my bank. She then tells me “Well, I was going to call you about that. Normal Rush fee is $25 per dress. I charged you $100 for the four dresses BUT I voided it.” I tell her she did NOT void the $100 but had charged me $100 again. JoAnne says “No. I voided it. Can I help you with anything else?”. Needless to say, I had to fill out a dispute with my bank over these “voided” payments.
Fast Forward to mid-May when the dresses were supposed to be in now that they are Rushed. My girls call Brides and Belles multiple times only to be told “let me look into it and call you back” only to never be called back.
When the dresses finally came in, my fiancé went in to pick up a dress for one of my girls and they no questions asked handed him her dress. Never took his name or had him sign. So, apparently anyone who knows you ordered a dress from there can walk out with your dress!
This place seems too easy and it is. They are rude, mismanaged and condescending AFTER you pay them. BUYER BEWARE

on Pinterest and Instagram, and she picks styles that are "in". I am a plus sized bride and never felt fat because of my consultant. They carry large dress sizes, but even styles that I wanted to try that were too small were adjusted so I could see myself in them. The dress was a bit pricey...about $500 over my budget, but I think the lengths that they go to to make you feel important (including steaming your dress before your bridals, layaway options, and delivering your dress to the venue) made the price worth it. I can't wait to go back for my bridesmaids!

June, it wasn't. We had to ask repeatedly to get a status of where the dress was. Finally, we were told it would be in sometime in July, but it was delayed because the necessary alterations had not been done as we were told they would be. The dress finally arrived and after the alterations, they steamed the dress. BIG MISTAKE! Whoever did it does not know what they were doing. They were specifically told not to touch the neckline. Of course they did and it was messed up for my portrait. Brought the dress back to have altered again and the owner seemed indifferent to the fact that her staff messed up the dress! Unbelievable the audacity of this woman. She has her money, she doesn't seem to care. My dress is still being fixed and the wedding is in 2 weeks! DO NOT go here unless you don't mind horrible service.

was organized, clean, and it seemed like there was a good variety of dresses, if not just a great number of them. However, I did not have a positive dress shopping experience. My consultant did not seem truly interested in me. When she asked what I wanted in a dress, one of the most important features I mentioned is a modest sleeve at 3/4th or half length, and yet the first dress she pulled for me was a sleeveless. Most significantly, however, she noted more than half a dozen times that she may not be able to accommodate my size needs. I am a 16 in my jeans; at another bridal store I visited yesterday, this translated to an 18 in a wedding dress. I am a fairly confident person, but for a few hours after this appointment, I felt like I could never be beautiful in a wedding dress at my size. I do not usually write reviews, but at the same time it is rare I leave a business in tears. Plus size girls: If you have a similar experience at Brides and Belles of Tyler, don't let them get you down. You can be a beautiful bride at any size.

as the same at Brides & Belles; however, this store will store your dress for free until your wedding day. They will also deliver it to your wedding venue if you are within a certain distance. This helped relieve the stress of making sure my dress got to my venue on time. It was also steamed and ready to go so all I had to do was put it on. It can also be hard to store a big dress if you are living with a lack of storage space, so it was perfect that they stored it for free. This kept my fiancé from sneaking a peek before the big day.

I fell in love with the 4th dress I tried on and this was my first time to look so I didn't have experience going to anywhere else but I would highly recommend stopping by here if you're in town! Great collection of gowns and they're not cookie-cutter dresses, there is a wide variety of styles and cuts. The alterations lady Noelia did a great job, but is very bossy and not very good at explaining the process of her alterations.. but in the end I was happy with her work. ome higher end things, but also very affordable dresses too. One of the nice things was that they have a seamstress that works for them, so you can make an appointment and have everything done at the shop. They also provide discounts for cleaning and preservation afterwards. Jo Ann is the owner there, and she is just fantastic! It was so nice getting to know her during my visits to the shop, and I'll definitely be sending business her way! Overall it was just a great experience!

Other than that, I felt as if almost all of the dresses were out of my price range. Many people in Tyler can afford it and will more than likely be patrons there, but it was definitely out of my price range as I was paying for most everything myself.

The only issue that I had was that the majority of the staff are high school aged girl, so it took a little off the "special" moment because at that age most of them don't get it, or at least the ones working that day didn't. Luckily, a young lady came to our rescue and was able to understand what I was looking for. After trying on about 10 dresses and ready to leave, my mom made me try on one more, so with a lot of hesitation and complaining I put on the stupid dress. Turns out it was way worth trying on because it was the dress I wore on my big day and it was amazing. Thanks to the sale I got my dream dress and the most perfect veil, both for less than $200 and orginally they would have cost $800. They fixed a slight bead issue quickly and even called for a follow up after I had gotten the dress. It was perfect, there was nothing wrong with the dress or veil, I just got lucky. So if you are looking for a dress of any kind I highly recommend Brides and Belles, just be aware that there are some younger girls working there that may be a little more worried about texting and high school drama, than your big day...But don't give up because there are some really goods that are working there that want and are willing to get the perfect dress.

hops fault and they corrected the mistake immediately. Phillis is the one to work with! She is kind and really values her customers and helps with anything you may need. I did have issues at one point with one of the young workers. They tend to hired highschool or young college students quite frequently and one was extremely rude. If that would have been my first experience, I would not have done business with them. However, I only had to deal with her once and one of the other younger helpers helped my pick out my wedding dress! Everything came in on time or early and we were treated great (well besides the one girl.... her name was Natalie by the way).

. Two seperate pieces, navy skirt, with white top. They took the measurements of all 8 of bridesmaids and their deposits and some full payments! Only to find out two weeks later, they could no longer get that style. Then the staff tried and tried to change my mind on what I wanted my bridesmaids to wear, because they did not want to refund the money! I was furious! This is in Tyler, Texas none of my bridesmaids lived in Tyler so getting them there to be measured was a huge hassel to begin with! They should have found out before hand if the dresses could have been ordered.
